Fantastic hotel. The staff was excellent very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The room was a good size and the bathroom was large. We appreciated the eco friendliness of the hotel overall. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk to a main subway station that will take you anywhere you want to go in minutes. Would definitely stay there again when in Vienna.

I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Der Wilhelmshof. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The location is only 5 minutes from Praterstern so good connections to the airport and city centre, and the Ringstraße is only a 15 minute walk. There are lots of bars and restaurants around, so it’s a great place to stay. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Vienna.

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay. There are several very good restaurants within easy walk and it's an easy drive, or long walk to the center of the historic part of Vienna. A quiet and clean place to recharge after a day of long day of exploration. Nice patio and very good breakfast.

Der Wilhelmshof is just round the corner from Preterstern underground station, and very well connected to all the sites in Vienna. My room was quiet, en-suite very nice. Staff helpful, breakfast excellent. If you have business or a holiday in Vienna, you should consider this hotel.

The hotel is a little out of the centre, but easy reachable by tram (couple of stops). The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice. The room was very clean and well decorated.

Was ok value for money but not exceptional. A lot of building renovations and roadworks around the hotel during our stay but that won't affect future guests in a few months I imagine.

Wilhelmshof is a lovely boutique hotel with a quiet, pleasant outdoor terrace for relaxing after a long day exploring. Steps awat from the Praterstern U-bahn station and an easy walk to many great restaurants. a 20-30 minute walk to the Stefansplatz, but a quick subway ride.

I stayed at the hotel for a week while attending a conference. Although I didn’t have the chance to explore much of the hotel, the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the room climate control was an issue. Neither the AC nor the heater was functioning. I asked for assistance with the thermostat, but it didn’t resolve the problem. A small fan was eventually provided, which helped during the warmer days at the start of my stay. However, the last few days turned cold, and the heater still wasn’t working, which made things uncomfortable.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The hotel decoration was lovely. The crew was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and varied.
The bedding was very comfortable. One small comment though, the bedsheet for the mattress was a bit short, if you move too much while you're sleeping you end up on the mattress which has no protection.
A metro was very close, so very easy to go the the center.

This is located about a 15-20 minute safe and easy walk from the city center / St Stephen’s. It’s a 4 minute walk to the Prater and the transportation center. The walk is safe at night. The street is quiet. Staff are wonderful! The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast eggs, sausage bacon yogurt fruit cheeses meats pastries breads jams espresso tea and all sorts of delicious offerings. There is a bar. The hotel is very clean!

It was a bit further from the 'touristy' section than I had expected, once I familiarised myself with the metro-system it was accessible enough - not that I was asked to show my travel pass once while travelling on metro or tram. There were several places within walking distances for eating, and tbh the nearby Vapiano was a god-send after a few nights of 40/50 euro meals (and as a solo traveller believe me I hadn't gone wild eating and drinking!!). There wasn't free water in the room which was a bit odd for a four-star hotel, although there was water at the bar downstairs, but when you are thirsty in the middle of the night and on the 5th floor that isn't a quick fix.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really really excellent. My problem was being bitten the minute I entered the room and finding a beastie walking on the chair in the room - 5 cities, 5 hotels this was the only time it happened and I end up with 7 bites by the morning. I am a bit sceptical about 'sustainability' and how much not cleaning rooms is an excuse to save money for hotels..who knows...

We have made the Wilhelmshof our \"go to\" spot in Vienna. It is on a quiet street near the Prater which makes transportation into the center very easy. The staff is great and always helpful. The rooms are pleasant to stay in. The outside garden is a bonus in nice weather.
