Staff were great! Everything was clean. The hotel itself is a little small but it can feel cozy too. It might need a remodeling since it seems dated. The pool and the sauna area were kept nicely but they should consider opening the jacuzzi as well. Overall very good experience for more than a fair price.

We love this hotel. We come back every year.
It is clean, friendly, good breakfast, extraordinary baking goods and various coffee from the coffee machine. They also offered free hot wine, very thoughtful after a day on the slopes.
On the critical side I would note small towels, a bit too firm mattress, and lack of furniture while plenty of empty space in the room.

Upon walking in the door it smelled of urine. The ‘Suite’ we paid for had No tv. The pool is across the street from the building, which wasn’t stated in the description upon booking. And the sheets on the bed were grey and dingy I couldn’t even think of sitting on the bed.

So we drove all the way from South Jersey walked into the building and left and drove right back home. It was very very disappointing.

Really enjoy this spot! Second time staying here and it feels like a hidden gem. I’d stay again for sure. If I were to give tips to the staff on improvements it would be to invest in better mattresses (they are pretty rigid), some art on the walls to brighten things up and the rooms are huge but lack work space so a small table and chairs would go a long way, esp for those who want to work remotely. There is a table and chairs under the tv but not really functional for much other than to put a bag or other items.

The hotel itself was charming and the owners seem invested in their guests. That being said, we cut our stay short due to the most uncomfortable beds ever. It was hard as a rock with no give and very hard on your back. After two nights, my husband and I could not fathom one more. When checking out early, the person checking us out could have cared less and when we asked for a one night refund, or particle, were told to go through HOTELS.com that THEY could not accommodate. We tried and HOTELS.com said they refused. So disappointed

Friendly staff and check in. Nice location with pretty view from the balcony on the Mountain View side. Large room, although a little bare and furniture somewhat dated. Clean bedroom, bedding and bathroom. Only complaint is that the mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast with yogurt, fruit and fresh baked croissants. Coffee was also very good.

Perfect Romantic Getaway!

We had an amazing stay at the Vienna Hotel in Windham — cozy, spotless rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect romantic escape, close to Hunter Mountain and local restaurants but peaceful and relaxing. Loved the thoughtful touches like the complimentary EV charging station! We’ll definitely be back for another getaway. ❤️

This hotel offers a solid base for travelers seeking easy access to Windham Path, with convenient parking. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful, providing dining recommendations. While the property has genuine charm and useful amenities, there are a few areas where maintenance would make a real difference.
The separate pool facility is a nice touch, though the water temperature left something to be desired—it was lukewarm. On the bright side, the sauna was enjoyable. The rooms themselves are clean and functional, with a minimalist aesthetic.
Breakfast is modest but covers the basics: coffee, tea, and pastries. While a toaster would be a welcome addition, the microwave provides some flexibility for guests wanting to prepare their own items.
Where we noticed the most room for improvement was in the room amenities. The water pressure is disappointingly low, and both the bathroom and pool towels appear worn and could use replacement. A proper comforter (vs a thin blanket) would also elevate the experience.
Overall it’s a pleasant place with good bones and a great location. With some updates to essential amenities, it could easily become a standout property in the area.

This hotel is awesome! I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff are - Sam and Holly went out of their way to answer every question or request he had! Book this Hotel now if you are staying in the area! We used the outdoor decks to relax and have a cocktail, the pool and sauna and had a fire in one of the firepits!

Coffee was not available until 7:30 a.m. and there was NO coffee maker (or microwave or even ice bucket) in the room. The nearby coffee shop did not open until 7 a.m. There seemed to be a lot of attention to detail -- tub with jets and heat lamp in the bathroom; pool, sauna, firepits outside. But no coffee for early risers? Unacceptable.

The Perfect Getaway

This hotel was perfect for getting away from city life. It was the most beautiful and peaceful place. We really enjoyed the delicious free breakfast, fire pits, barrel sauna and the serene walking trail right behind the hotel. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Also, the hotel was super clean and spacious, with really nice private balconies to enjoy the mountain view. We would definitely return!
