Environment is pretty charming and cool. Full of young people. Room is ok, bed comfortable and breakfast ok. Location is convenient, walking distance from the metro. I didn’t rate 5 stars just because I had some alergic reaction (perhaps due to polen?)

Good hotel for family of 4, room with bunk beds worked well for us. We didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, unsure what is available.
Good vibe to the hotel, kids loved the pool, football table & slide. About 10mins walk to train/tube station, easy to get to from the airport. Funfair around 15 mins walk looked fun but was raining when we where there.

Such a friendly place, all you could need when travelling with your family, and if you chose to share 1 room between 4, the bunk bed room was spacious and fun. Special menu tuna meal was gorgeous. Hope to return.

The hotel was great. Very modern and I loved the fact they had students working there. Everyone was very friendly and the location was great for walking or catching the metro. My only complaints would be no coffee cups in the room (although coffee machine and supplies were there) and as someone there on business, I wouldn’t recommend the room next to the shared kitchen as it was very noisy at night with people cooking/ cleaning up in the wee hours of the morning. Other than that- all was great.

The one thing that could have gone A LOT better was that my husband celebrated his bday and I asked if a cake or a piece of cake can be arranged. One woman at the front desk said no worries in the morning. Later in the evening, we got to the hotel and I spoke to the front desk and the man never heard of the request. Again he said not a problem and we will arrange for a piece of cake on the house. In the morning of the breakfast, I went to the front desk and they had no idea what I was talking about and asked if I could go talk to the kitchen. I said no, as I don’t work here. Then the man from the front desk went up and asked that I follow him and then I stood on the side and the chef said loudly will she pay for it. My husband was there and the whole thing got uncomfortable for a freaking piece of cake.
Finally, they brought him cake with candles that I bought and told him to blow them out quickly as no fire was allowed.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay but this was for sure unpleasant customer experience.

Absolutely stunning property. Fair pricing, super fun vibes, delicious food and drink, top-notch gym. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

The ONLY drawback I had was the clear shower in the room itself. Normally, traveling with my partner, that would be a non-issue... but traveling with family or friends, it may be uncomfortable for many.

Aside from that, again - I would recommend this to anyone and will CERTAINLY be visiting again, and already looking forward to it.

I loved this hotel, it had fantastic amenities, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was walking distance to an underground station that got you into the city centre in a matter of minutes. It was great being in a not so touristy area but having easy access to anywhere in the city. The lobby restaurant was also great with wonderful staff. I would definitely stay here again!

Maybe one of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen. It's been updated recently so the pictures don't show how well equipped it is. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location is a 9 min walk to the train station. Then you're in the center of everything in basically 5-10 mins. I spent a week in Vienna and you really can't beat the value you get from the Social Hub.

The location is a few minutes to the Praterstern train station. The hotel has plenty to do as well as a restaurant where the food was good but a little over priced but expected for a hotel. This did feel more like a hostel or a shared apartment complex rather than a hotel. I really enjoyed it and look forward to staying a other Social Hub locations.

Very nice stay, comfortable room - will try again.

Very nice concept, co working, meeting rooms, gym, paid restaurant .. all superbly available for use.
Superb room for a family of 4, very nice aircon for a very hot day.
No option to take bowls, spoons, plates from restaurant to room so if you get food from outside, it's maybe have to be properly planned.

Very clean and tidy room with nice views of the Vienna circle.The staff were very polite, helpful and accommodative. Also the property is close (about 10 minutes) away from Pratersen train station from where you can take the line 1 and 2 for the centre of Vienna and also trains to different destinations in Vienna, The property is also located in a central road, but despite this it wasn\t noisy at all. Also there were several amenities, like gym and waxing machine if someone needed, but I didn't need these facilities.

One stop shop

This is my second time staying at the social hub. Positives: 1) excellent location in district 2 near public transportation and the prater 2) outstanding breakfast 3) excellent friendly service 4) laundry and gym on site. It reminds me of a youth hostel that caters to younger people and offers organized opportunities for socializing. Downside: 1) room decor is dark and black 2) it’s clean enough but not immaculate. It’s a great option for the cost.

Great bed! The Nespresso machine made some quality coffee. The shower had great water pressure and temperature, and the shower door had a strong seal which kept in all the water. I wish the shower had a tray/shelf for soap, as I travel with my own bar. The Zenology hand soap and balm were great; the shampoo and conditioner not so much. Lastly, a means of hanging used towels so they can quickly dry would've been nice.

Very welcoming, food excellent at breakfast varied selection. We tried the restaurant in the evening aswell again good choice and food very good. They had bar football, table tennis and pool along side gaming in the hotel too. Staff on hand 24/7. We had a family room clean and comfortable could not fault anything from our stay. Only 10 min walk to station.

It’s regarded as a four star hotel. In reality it’s not! There was no hand soap, lotion, or dental kit. The furniture was dusty. There were molds in the shower corners. The spare toilet roll has stains on it!! The ceiling looks poor! The hotel lacked a charger adapter and had to walk to the train station at 8 pm to get one from a vending machine.
The hotel is not cheap!
Breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly. The location was close to the train station/tram.

Our room was very dark, no AC that we could get going, and our bed was very hard. We decided to move to the hotel we had just left. Of course we didn’t receive a refund, but we were okay with it. The walls were black, there was no decor, the tv was a computer monitor, the bathroom was mostly black tile and an open room. I didn’t feel the pictures in the listing matched what we walked into.

Room was hot, humid, and dirty. AC was nonexistent (was hot outside and the room was between 25-26.5 the entire time) and it looked like somebody ejaculated on the curtains.

Loved the vibe and the youthful energy, even for a middle aged traveler. Very convenient, walkable to sizeable transit station, solid food options onsite.
Only 2 issues were the very hard beds, which discouraged even sitting on the bed. And the shower door opened to the room, which wasn't ideal for travel with a parent and a teenager.

The hotel really fell short of my expectations. Service was fine, but nothing special at all. Reception felt understaffed. The attitude of some reception felt as if they couldn’t be bothered and some were even monosyllabic. They laughed amongst each other and didn’t pay full attention to each guest. Such a shame. The room itself was fine and shower good, but very dusty in areas and walls scraped from previous guests. Satisfactory but not the great stay I was hoping for.

Good bare bones accommodation experience

The social hub is currently marketed as a digital nomad working space, but it’s more of a rebranded student accommodation block.

If, unlike me, you know that going in, it’s not really a problem. In return for a reasonable (but not cheap) price, you’ll get fair service and amenities and overpriced and underwhelming food options.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bar was a relaxing space. Very convenient for trams and trains. My only criticism was that the room was dusty and hadn’t been used for a while, and was not cleaned on one occasion. Utilities eg kettle, glasses were provided on request.

Enjoyed the funky bunkbed family room, daily housekeeping like a hotel yet vast majority of housing here is for long-term students. Despite this, room and hallway in the hotel section was quiet. Laundry available but process is odd; ask at front desk. Check-in is touch screen automated but data entry a bit tedious. Good restaurant and cafe features. Short walk to major train/subway hub and Prater park. Fun place.

Even those the entire hotel was brutally hot, because there was an issue switching over the air conditioning… I would absolutely stay at this hotel again! The vibes were immaculate. The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet. The maintenance team even came by room to room to see what they could do to make us comfortable and to verbally explain to all of us what was going on with the air-conditioning. It was something totally out of their control, but the staff handled it as if they created the problem. Breakfast is a little bit overpriced for the buffet that is there but it was also super easy to find other food.
All in all, it was a super cute and fun hotel

The hotel is located steps away from Praterstern, which was super convenient not only for getting around the city but also to the airport (a better and less busy option than downtown, too!).
Even though it's a bit outside of Innere Stadt / the old town, it was still walkable in approx. 20 mins, and reachable in a few minutes by Vienna's metro (again, Praterstern is just down the street).
Our room was nicely decorated and spacious enough for our stay. A bit more storage space would have been helpful given the sink took up quite some room and isn't usable for storage. A completely separate bathroom would have been nice, as it's a bit chilly to get out of the shower and then just be in the main room (also, I traveled with my partner - but if you're traveling with a friend and get such a room... hope you're both very comfortable with each other, haha!). No noise issues.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the common spaces were fun.

TSH does not deny that the original name was The Student Hotel. The rooms are very simply furnished, which can be surprising. The air conditioning is controlled very ecologically, so take an extra hoodie🙂 The lights are digitally controlled, so it takes some thinking to understand how it really works💡 Self check-in requires an ID which I couldn't find in the documents from Hotels.com, but the staff was very helpful,so it was OK.

I loved the hotel and the atmosphere there. It has everything one might need, very well located, close enough to the U and S stations, from which you could go anywhere in Vienna. The street is big and busy, but it was very quiet in the room. Very clean, very delicious tea options in the room. Also enjoyed breakfast buffet - has a lot of food for any taste. We stayed for my Mums 65th birthday and the staff made sure it was one to Rememeber. On check in they gave us free tokens for a hot drink to be used at the restaurant. When I went to use 2 of them on the birthday morning, the kitchen staff gave another 2 free so all 4 of us could enjoy togehrer. Also they brought out a really big cake for my Mum. At night when we were playing cards, they put muffins, fruit and fresh orange juice on the table with a special birthday message for my mum. I cannot fault the hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

We have stayed in Social Hubs before, so we were disappointed in the standard of this one. We felt it was tired and not well looked after. Social Hub markets itself on being for everyone, however as young professionals this Social Hub felt like we were stepping into a university halls of residence - not a hotel.

In our room and in the common areas there was lots of dust and grime, clearly it had not been cleaned or the clean had been rushed and not done properly. There was also an outside space with our room which was full or weeds and litter, not the nicest thing to wake up to in the morning.

The bed was also not comfortable and the shower pressure was weak.

Love the idea and vibe of social hub, however this particular one has not been well maintained and I won't be returning.

Great location and easy to get to from subway U1 then tram 5 or 0 which stops right out front. Fun, friendly and trendy. Great breakfast. Laundry available. Breakfast on weekends is at 08:00 not 07:00 as posted which created an inconvenience for us with an early morning tour departure :(
Overall good value and happy we stayed there. Great for young people but seniors or those with kids fit in too. Thanks

The hotel is for young people. The check in and use of cards for elevator, doors etc was very stressful. Too much computer and IT stuff. Luckily the young msn at the desk I eventually found was great.
Plus at breakfast it was hard to find a seat, no muesli, and the croissants were long gone.

Room was dirty. Half eaten pot noodle in the safe cupboard, toothpaste up the walls, towel had a stain on it and the previous occupant’s jewellery was found under the bed. Shampoo bottles were also empty and the shower head wouldn’t stay up. Other than those points, we enjoyed the concept of the hotel. Execution was just a bit sloppy.
