The staff was excellent. Very helpful with ideas and directions to the city. I didn’t take the breakfast option so I can’t tell you what that’s like. Bring soap! They never filled the containers in my room but I always bring soap with me since I dislike hotel soap anyway. Coffee was good. The access to the Tram right outside the hotel is like insanely convenient! The lobby is nice also. I spent my time reading books and had free apples they put out and tea/coffee. I’d stay here again.

Hotel Niu is modern and comfortable.
The room is nice, with a comfortable bed. We missed having a fridge and more space to store our clothes, but this did not spoil our experience.
All the staff were very attentive.
The breakfast was very good, with many options, but a little expensive.
Transportation was very convenient; the main attractions in the center of Vienna were easily reached by tram (less them 20 min).
I recommend the accommodation.

Excellent breakfast! Huge plus the train is right outside. Would recommend bringing earplugs in case a room is assigned at the back of the building where the train passes through, was pretty noisy at times. Other than that excellent stay!

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Everything was spotless, perfectly clean, and very well maintained. The room was tidy and comfortable, which made me feel relaxed from the moment I arrived.

What made my stay truly special was the staff. The personnel were incredibly easy-going, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Their positive attitude created such a warm atmosphere that I immediately felt at home. Every interaction was pleasant, and they were always ready to help with anything I needed.

Overall, it was a really lovely stay, and I would happily come back again. Highly recommended!

I thought this hotel was great. The hotel and room were both modern. The room itself had enough room and we had our son with us and the extra bed for him was really spacious. We liked that there was a safe, internet and tv you could chrome cast to all included. The location was great as there was a tram line right outside but it was also only a walk to the beautiful Danube. The hotel staff were really friendly and it had a small shop of snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. I can definitely recommend it as a good base to stay for a Vienna visit and I would definitely stay here again.

Construction. They said parking available but when we arrived, parking was not available due to construction. We spent over an hour to find parking. Parked far and had to walk back to the hotel for 15-20 min.
3pm we arrived expecting check-in to 2 rooms as indicated. The receptionist said rooms are not ready. We asked when will the rooms be ready, she said she didn't know.
They then found 2 rooms for us right away and included breakfast for the inconvenience.
Breakfast was good.

The hotel was in an excellant location and the tram stop directly ipposite the hotel making it easy to commute into the centre.
There was some confusion at check in as the hotel advised we had 2 rooms booked but we only booked 1 room.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful.The towels were changed daily.The breakfast was excellant we just had this 1 out of the 3 days we were there.If we visited aflgain we would be happy to stay here.It would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but would not let this put you ofl staying.Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was a wonderfully designed and eclectic hotel. While the location was far removed from the city center, a tram ride brought us into town. There were also wonderful little non touristy restaurants in the neighborhood that we never would have discovered otherwise. The staff was excellent, and very friendly.

A lovely 8 day stay. Breakfast was great and worth the price. Stains on the carpet and curtain so this knocks the cleanliness down And also due to construction on the main road the nights are loud. Worth getting ear protection. But, nevertheless staff were lovely and helpful.

The property is quite far away from City center, fortunately the public transportation is convenient. a 10 minutes walk takes one to the train station for Vienna Airport which is extremely convenient. The room does not come with any amenities, no hot water pot, no refrigerator, no bottle water. Front desk staff is very friendly.

Lovely, contemporary style hotel.

Great transport links as tram stops outside and train station is a 10 min walk. Takes about 20 mins via tram to reach the city centre so is very convenient.

Room was nice and clean. Although I did find it a little strange that the shower was part of the bedroom with a partition rather than the bathroom! (Was not a problem though, just different).

We opted for breakfast each morning too which had a good selection and we loved the pancake maker.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

There was also a nice lobby bar and seating area which we went to some evenings for playing games and chilling out.

There was also a luggage storage room we used on our last day which was handy.

It was an ok hotel. Unfortunate that they didnt even have a kettle for boiling water in the room. The blind in my room didnt open. There was supposed to be some noise canceling but it was generally loud. As it is winter it was unfortunate that when you walked in was freezing in the room. I would have preferred one large bed cover isntead of 2 small ones. Especially for a double bed. There should at least been a couch in the deluxe double room? It was just a bed and so empty in the room

This is the third time I have stayed at the Niu Franz in a year. It is very good value for money. The staff seem always happy to hello. With a tram stop virtually outside and the overland train station a couple of hundred yards down the road it is very easy to get round Vienna even when arriving late ar night.

The staff was great and helped me find a laundromat and whatever I needed. There are drinks and snacks available for purchase and if you don't get your room cleaned that day, you can get a free drink.

Transportation is easy. You just hop on the number 2 tram to get around Vienna. The train station is just a block or two away.

The hotel is nice and 4-5 mins walk from the nearest station which is very convienient. It is a good 4kms walk to the centre of the city however just 10 mins in a train.
It is clean with extremely friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Not much of a view however nice large windows.
Great initiative of free coffee if you skip room cleaning and they only empty the trash. Absolutely brilliant this one.
A few concerning things were that the shower is open with no door, the walls of the room are very thin and you can hear everything that the neighbours do, the train passes just next to the hotel and while the windows nicely seal, there is that little vibration and sound till late.
Over all still a great place to stay if you are not very picky about the draw backs.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur S-Bahn, leider hörte man diese auch bei geschlossenem Fenster, in der Nacht sehr störend.
Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, hatte ich aber auch so gebucht.
Die Einteilung des Badezimmers kann ich nicht verstehen, warum kann man vom Bett aus in die Dusche sehen? Für Paare sicherlich ganz romantisch, unter Freunden eher nicht.
Die Abluftanlage schaltet sich nach ca. einer Minute ein, wenn man das Licht im Bad/Toilette einschaltet. Eine automatische Abschaltung fehlt, man muss die Karte ziehen.
Die Kopfkissen waren sehr schlecht, noch nie hatte ich das in einem Hotel.
Das Frühstück war okay, aber nichts besonderes.
Die Zimmerreinigung beginnt schon um 8 Uhr, man wird also, wenn man vergessen hat, das Schild an die Tür zu hängen, geweckt.
Alles in allem war's okay, aber nicht empfehlenswert.

My room was perfect. At the 7th floor and well decorated. Everything was clean.
The staff was super friendly and polite.
The breakfast could be a bit better. Not much of a variety of products.
Overall it’s a great hotel located near the train station. If I visit again Vienna I will definitely check it again.

I found the rooms themselves to be bizarre. There was only a glass partition between the shower and the bedroom, so if you are traveling with platonic friends it could be highly awkward. The mattress and pillows were terrible (rock hard for the former, lumpy for the latter). The temperature in the room could not be adjusted and was too hot. Opening the window then meant the sound of trains every 5 min. No kettle in the room. No fridge to store medications (although the kind staff let me put this in the kitchen fridges). The location wasn't great. It was very clean and the staff were great. Other that that, terrible.

The location is not very good, far from the center, there are no cafes, restaurants or shops nearby, not very pleasant. The hotel is located right by the train tracks so every few minutes there's a passing train, it's ok with a closed window but very noisy if you open.
The room is modern and designed nicely but was very dusty. The room had a hairdryer and soaps in the shower, no coffe, water bottles or water heater.

Great place to stay in Vienna - a 15 minute tram ride into the city! Breakfast at the hotel had many varieties from fresh breads and rolls to pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, eggs, and more. The water infused with lemon and mint was delicious.

The hotel gives guests the option to forego housekeeping in exchange for a free drink at the bar. This conserves water and is an eco-friendly option.

The room was spacious with plenty of outlets available for recharging devices. The bed was firm but comfortable. The shower, enclosed in glass walls, had great water pressure and temperature, and was directly visible from almost anywhere in the room. It made the room feel very open.

The TV had several international channels available. The staff at the desk were very helpful.
