Very close to train station in few minutes walk. In train station, there are a lot of choices of restaurants and supermarkets. We love to buy meals from Billa. You can get everything from this supermarket. The room is clean. Bed is comfortable. Very modern but unusual layout. What I mean is that the shower unit is not inside of washroom. We feel ok for this setting. Only things I like to complain is that the hangers are not removable. First night, back from downtown with wet clothes due to heavy rain. We couldn't hanger up our wet clothes separately to get them dry up quickly.

A/C did not cool the room at all, the sink wasn't as nice as the sink on most airliners, the toilet stall light was motion activated and would plunge you into darkness within a few seconds. Very uncomfortable last night of a 2-week trip with several hotel stays that were much better. Never book a hotel in Europe with the word budget in the name!

This is a good clean budget hotel. The room and linens were clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was efficient. The bath towels were lovely. There are no hand towels or washcloths. There is not equipment to make coffee or tea in the room, but there is breakfast service for a fee. On one evening, the hot water was intermittent during the shower, but the other days it was fine.

The hotel was not too far from subway stations in Praterstern. At first I wasn’t too keen on the area, but walking around the side streets and the amusement park, I must admit it’s got a lot of character. The hotel had basic accommodations - nothing fancy, but just what I needed (a place to crash at night and perhaps food to eat in the morning). Definitely recommend if you’re going to Vienna on a “budget.”

No elevator from ground floor to the 2nd floor where the main elevator is located. Paper forms needed to be filled out. This is the worst Ibis we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in many, all kinds. This is Ibis budget ON A BUDGET. The shower and sink were inside the room, which is uncomfortable even for a couple, imagine friends! The toilet was tiny with a wafer-thin door that didn't even have a lock (not to mention that sandpaper is softer than that toilet paper!). There was nothing for you in the room besides a soap and towels, if you need a hairdryer be prepared to leave 20 euros in the reception - cash only. There was no wardrobe, just a couple of hangers on the wall. The bed was awful and the one pillow provided was as thin as its cover. To make things worse, our heating wasn't working, so we woke up in a freezer (as we are in January). This is the only time reception was slighly helpful and changed us to another room. They didn't seem to care about anything or even bother to smile at you. The area around the hotel is horrible and we felt very unsafe. We had never experienced such an unpleasant experience at Ibis and it made us lose faith in the brand.

There are so few fixtures that they are ecofriendly. Two slightly smaller sized bath towels and toilet paper. Bed and pillow. Not a single glass, but it will be provided if you ask.

Horrible overhead light that could not be regulated and chairs without backs and stiff creaky bed. This is a budget hotel, and while everything works, you can tell they’ve cut costs wherever possible. The bed was wide enough for two people, but with only one comforter and one pillow each, it was tough to get a good night’s sleep. The shower being in the middle of the bedroom was a bit quirky. It might be an issue if you want some privacy from your travel companion.
The air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool, which was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was okay—not amazing, but it got the job done for a budget stay.

No business or tourists like hotels and expect your stays more like staying in the hostel. I can even hear all the noises from the next room occupants. The beds are more like narrow miniature size beds, the room had no dryers, no closets, no ironing sets, no fridge, no coffee makers. And it was a zoo like experience during breakfast hours. The food was more like school cafeteria setting. 30 seats and 150 people cramming in. The room I stayed was no air conditioning ( yes, I left the windows open all day and all night) and it feels so hot during the summer season. Sachet hotel is 5 star hotel and IBIS HOTEL is more like -5 (minus 5) star hotel.

My room was stuffy and the A/C wasn't working. The next morning i went and talked to the front desk and they told me the hotel doesnt turn the A/C on till June. The hotel is clean. Don't waste the $10 on the breakfast. You'll get a cheaper and better breakfast at the McDonald's or grocery store down the street.

Basic, modern, shower cubicle in room not so bad if with the wife but so not ideal if with a friend or like me my daughter so had to vacate the room anytime the other wanted to use the shower, comfortable bed but only one sad pillow so stiff neck after first night requested another at reception to be told there’s no extra pillows available so had to have another night of uncomfortable sleep with the sad pillow, near to public transport which was good and literally 30 min pleasant walk gets you into the town centre… great city would do again not so sure about the ibis budget though.

I think some of the reviews are pretty harsh. It is listed as a budget hotel and that's what you get. Staff are friendly enough and the room for me was decently soundproofed. I travelled solo so the strange room layout (toilet separate but shower and sink in room) didn't bother me. Some complained about the water leaking from the shower but I didn't have this problem as I simply removed drain cap. All in all I would stay here again as it was value for money and is centrally located to both the metro and train station. There are also sooo many restaurants and supermarkets located within 5 mins walk

As soon as I left my room an attendant entered to search. On another morning, they are beating down my room door before 8 am

This place was perfect for me for a solo stay. I hadn't quite realised that the shower is IN the room, so maybe don't visit with people you don't want to shower in the same room as.
The location is very convenient for the U1 underground which goes straight into the centre of the city. It's also walkable.

Hotel was clean and comfy, bed was a little hard but far better than expected for a cheap hotel. I would not have chosen this unless I was in a couple as the shower is Not hidden from the bed, and the loo does not lock, however this was no problem for us, if I was with anyone else it would have been awkward.
