We had a 2 bedroom as we travelled as a family of 4. Location is great and the room was very clean. We didn't have breakfast included som that ended up quite expensive so we only had it once. The lobby and lounge area is nice, however our room was on the older side of things and could do with an update. Clean, spacious and affordable.

First, they were very accommodating when I made a mistake and needed to book an extra night. Thank you!
Our first room was not up to the rating that was posted on Expedia. Not even close! Bed frame was literally falling apart, handles on furniture had come unattached and there was a hole in the floor from an old bed frame maybe?? We then were switched to another room which was much better but still not 4+ stars. Both rooms had pots and pans like an Airbnb. Just not what we expect from a 4+ star hotel. We stayed in Europe for 2+ weeks and stayed in 2 other hotels on our trip that were A+, so we had comparable bookings. Location was great!

The hotel is perfectly located for a trip to Vienna. We were able to walk everywhere. If the price had been lower, we'd have given everything five stars and overlooked a few down-at-the-heels aspects. Overall a nice stay, though.

FWIW, be aware that the wifi network is not secure if that matters to you.

Our room was huge with 12-15 ft ceilings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is small but elegant. The location is fantastic! We were within walking distance of nearly all attractions, and there is a metro stop and trolley stop just outside the hotel doors. We absolutely loved our stay there and plan to return someday.

I have nothing to say and the service is great, very close to the attractions and almost next door. No need to take a car and you can just walk a few minutes to the attractions. The breakfast buffet is delicious what they prepare in the morning and you know it will be expensive. Yes, the hotel is expensive per night but it is worth the price. They have a 24 hrs free bar for specialty coffee and sparkling water in the fridge.l'd like to give a good feedback to Josh, in charge of restaurant, he is attentive and kind to the customer at the breakfast buffet. All the staff in the hotel from front desk to housekeeping has good service. The room, hallway and the entire hotel are clean and fragrant. We recommend this hotel to our relatives/colleagues.

Excellent location, breakfast is basic but good. Nice staff, spacious room, great view. For the location and what you get, it's very good value... But don't expect 5 stars, that's not what this is. Vienna hotel close to Opera House

This hotel was beautiful. It was in an older building and had art work and furniture from past eras. Our room was huge. We got a family room which had 1 separate bedroom, another bed partitioned off from living room, and a pull out couch. We also had a kitchenette, which allowed us to do some meals in the room.
The hotel was a short walk to both the Opera House and Karlskirche. The underground station as almost outside the front door.

Our family of ,4 stayed her for 5 days and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. We had two rooms that were more than what we expected. The staff were all lovely, the proximity to everything was excellent. The subway was outside our door which we took advantage of with ease when we weren't on foot or on bikes. Highly recommend this hotel

I have stayed here previously, and the room was excellent. Location and cleanliness spot on.

This time around there were a few issues:

Phone to reception not working so had to use my own phone to ring landline. I was not informed of this at check in, so it only became apparent when I raised it on check out.

Key to room continuously stuck. Again, it turned out they were aware of this issue but hadn’t informed me until I raised it on check out.

The bed base was really worn.

Lamp shade was discoloured / stained.

The location is to die for, right next to the Karlsplatz metro station and within walking distance of a number of attractions like the Hofburg palace, Opera House, Mozart memorial and cafe Sacher. The ambience was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional and friendly. The room was unexpectedly large, as was the bathroom. It also happens to be the only hitel ive ever started in, that gave a complimentary bottle of beer. The buffet breakfast was not a s0rawling affair, but contained an adequate variety and website was very tasty. Definitely a place to recommend.

Location: Perfect. A short walk to everything and there is a subway stop within a block that gets you to and from the main train station within 2 stops. All the main attractions are within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and shopping also close by. Hotel: Great! Clean, safe and. all the amenities required. Has a restaurant for breakfast and also has laundry facilities on site. Room: Very large apartment style. A little dated but it fits the style of the hotel. Very nice receptionists, when we checked in, David was very kind and professional and efficient, he took care of things expertly, and since we arrived about 6 hours before our 3:00 pm check-in time, he nice and safely stored our 2 suitcases in a locked protected area of his office, and we easily picked them up 6 hours later. Very nice hotel, clean, and very quiet even though we were in the middle of the old town. A very convenient walk to the Opera and Gold Hall / Musikverein and the museums... what a perfect location to stay. Will stay there again soon. jw

Perfect location for sightseeing around Vienna. I got the room with a kitchen. The room was clean and well furbished. If you are going to stay here, I suggest you get the room with breakfast option. It was well worth it. For me, I wish the bed had a pillow top, but I got around this by sleeping on the blanket they provided, and getting an extra blanket. Would stay here again for sure.
