At first the location seems really far from the centre however it is about 2-3mins walk to the underground and then a 10-15min ride to St Stephen’s and the public transport is very affordable. The room was spotless with everything needed including: towels, toiletries and a hairdryer. The staff were excellent, they were friendly, and happy to help.

Its easy and quick access to Vienna centre as close to metro but its location feels like its on an industrial park site and not much to do around it. Would have been better to pay slightly more to be more central. Its more of a budget room option with cool communal exteriors. Bathroom was very small. Hotel room is not cleaned daily unless requested daily so I think its difficult to know when amenities like shower gel run out. Staff are friendly and helpful though.

The staff is great, so is the rooms ( just bare necessities, i.e no kettle nor a fridge) , location is great with the U3 Subway you’re in the city center in 10 min, the subway is safe and reliable at any hour also at night. Only issue around the hotel there’s no coffee shops, no restaurant and no fast food ( you can order from delivery and get drinks at the bar which is really priced correctly). Will stay there again and I reccomend it , also because what you save you can spend it elsewhere on your trip. Different thing is if you wanna walk out of your hotel and be in the city center or you do not like public transport. Other tip for the airport transfer use UBER or Train as they’re on avg 30% cheaper than taxy.

I’ve been a loyal guest for over 10 years, so I was disappointed by the check-in experience this time. The place was great, great service, with VERY close access to public transport. Other than one Döner Kebap place, there is very little for the average person to do in the vicinity. Do not let that stop you from using this facility, because most of what is worth doing you would need to get on public transport to access anyway.

As someone that stays in about a dozen hotels each year (between work and leisure), this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in (in my life).
It is a beautiful hotel, beautiful hotel room and the staff is exceptional. As an English speaking Canadian visiting, the staff were beyond accommodating and kind.
This hotel is a big part of the reason I look forward to returning back to Vienna. Thank you!

The hotel itself is very nice and we would stay here again. It is located in a very boring, non-descript neighborhood, but its saving grace is that it is only one block away from the metro, so in this respect, its location is very good.
The only negative criticism we have, is that the staff at the front desk was not able (did not know?) how to use the public transportation system to reach Vienna airport. Currently, taking either a taxi or transfer service costs 50 euros, which is quite steep. We could not figure out how use public transportation, so we asked the front desk to order a taxi for us. BTW, taxis and transfer services should all accept credit cards, but just to be sure, before you enter a cab, ask the driver if he accepts credit cards. When we flew into Vienna and got a taxi to go to the hotel, we did not ask, When we arrived, the cost was 50 euros and the driver demanded cash only - we barely had enough cash to give him.

I specifically booked this hotel for air condition as many EU hotels don’t have air condition and even confirmed with them in advance, however when I arrived they told me there is NO air conditioning and its limited to day time. They refused to help, accommodate or compensate me.

We stayed at Moxy Vienna East for 4 nights. The location is just around the corner from a U Bahn station is great. There are also supermarkets and a laundry close by.

The hotel is clean & the location is convenient (the nearest metro station is Erdberg on line U3, just a couple blocks away from the hotel). I was pleased that they let me have an early check-in. However, I was not happy that housekeeping is only done every 3 days (I stayed for 4 nights). One evening I asked the front desk for some clean towels & the lady at the reception informed me that they didn´t have any. I found it hard to believe that a hotel of this size doesn´t have any single clean towels in stock. I would not stay here again.
