This property is all about the location. It is situated just behind the museum quarter and has lots of bars and restaurants around. It’s spectacular around Christmas time with all the lovely markets. The hotel is very quiet with lots of lovely staff around willing to help. The rooms are quite spacious with lovely clean bathrooms. I’ve stayed here three times and will continue to do so.

Highly recommend!

Awesome hotel, quiet city view room with view of domes all around! Location superb with ez walk to Museum Quarter and Hofburg Palace and metro line and hop on hop off bus etc. Bar and small cafe in lobby convenient too! Brkfst, soup, sandwiches. And an atm in lobby too! Front desk good too!

Problems in room

Location is fine. Rooms were worser than I expected because ;

1) after taking shower bathtub is full of water.

2) tv in room 519 is very badly positioned it may cause injuries or tv can broken down if you hit it. If you go to toilet in night you should be very careful

3 ) why you put only one shower jel and shampoo for 2 person room?? First time I ve ever seen it Economical reasons or something else ?

4 ) no sleepers in rooms and room view is looking to 1 meter wall anyway

Its ok but they need to focus on the details more.

Room was large and clean but it was always too warm and the heating wasn't on. There are only 2 power outlets which is frustrating when traveling with multiple devices that need to be charged. I think this is the first hotel I've stayed in that didn't provide hand lotion. The bed was comfortable but the shower is horrible. The ceiling is low for tall people which requires some maneuvering which is less than ideal. Tried to have a relaxing drink at the bar but i couldn't because the elevator is right beside it and loud and obnoxious guests were hanging out in front of it. I wouldn't stay here again.

The location of this property was very convenient for local shopping, dining, and bars. So many hidden gems in the area. It was also very close to public transportation and the museums. The air in the room was unfortunately dry and the curtains, walls, and floors all had minor stains/scuffs on them. My partner and I both always woke up with running noses and/or sore throats but immediately felt better upon getting fresh air. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay. I appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff, tubs in the bathroom, office center w/ printer and option for dining.

The hotel itself is fine. It’s pretty clean, and the staff are lovely. The rooms are very dated and the mattresses really need replacing.

However, the location of the hotel is amazing. You have easy access to everything such as circular tram, MQ and lovely parks to name but a few.

A charming hotel, with nicely appointed rooms offering terrific views of the Viennese skyline. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with an impressive variety for a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and wonderfully accommodating. The subway is a short (<5 min) walk away, with a mere 2-3 stops to the city center. The local neighborhood has a wonderfully eclectic feel, with apartments, a playground, shops, a theater, and various eateries.

Nice accommodations, friendly staff, convenient transportation, and a nice neighborhood — all for reasonable prices. What more could you want? Highly recommended. :)

bathtub drainage issue

The attitude shown during the process of resolving the clogged bathtub was really unpleasant. The bathtub, which had never been used, was clogged, and the water wouldn't drain. I had no choice but to shower in the sauna, which didn't have a lock on the shower booth (it was unisex), making me feel very insecure.

The next day, a technician came with a plunger to fix the problem, but the result was minimal.

People were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean. The location was great- 2 block walk to the U3 and 4 blocks to the ring and trams. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop close by. Breakfast was very good- great coffee, lots of tea choices, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, brotchen, kuchen, eggs, sausages, fruit juice, etc. It is not pretentious and fancy. It is much better than basic lodging.

The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable and a little bit back from the main roads so you don't get city noise. Breakfast is varied from full English to get a roll and a little jam. If you stay for a few days and put a sign on your door you don't need cleaning, they offer to plant a tree and give you a voucher for a free glass of wine. Bar is simple but nice. One day I wanted a light lunch and got their potato soup. I'll definitely go their again and check out their other locations.

The front desk staff and gym were bad.

The front desk staff are RUDE. The card they hand out with the key says check out is at 12 pm in English but 11 am in German. I brought it up and said, I think 12 should be honoured. They didn't like it and told me to just leave at 11. At some point during my stay I called and asked for an extra tower, the guy on the phone said 'come downstairs and get it' Ok...

Gym weights are too light and it gets way too hot in there.

Area was super convenient. There is a bar on the corner of the block where people stand outside and seem to yell all night. The bar apparently stays open until 6AM. The hotel was lovely and clean and I can’t blame them for a local business with noisy customers. Just something to think about if you stay here. Also, I did pick this place because it had air conditioning yet once I got there they had shut it off for the winter so I had to deal with their idea of a comfortable room temp. Had to open the windows to cool the room and then the bar yelling customers were even louder. Needless to say, if you’re used to air conditioning in your hotel rooms and it’s not summertime (we stayed at the beginning of November) you are in for a disappointment with that. Overall, I loved the location, the room was very clean, staff were all pleasant and it wasn’t crazy expensive so I’d definitely stay here again.

Did not live up to our expectations

The location of the property is excellent being near U and also walking distance to many attractions. Staff generally helpful. However, the hotel rooms and corridors are in desperate need of an upgrade. We chose K&K because we had stayed a few years back at both Vienna & Budapest. The standard was much higher then so our stay this time was somewhat disappointing. Also we were there for Christmas but not much Christmas spirit was in evidence, perhaps a complimentary drink/snack would have been very welcome.

Excellent location, walk to museums, dining and Christmas markets. The hotel was clean and in a safe area for solo travelers. The beds were a bit too firm and small by American standards but seems typical for a European hotel. The front desk staff was not very friendly but the ladies running the breakfast buffet were extremely nice and highly efficient. Highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel, very fresh and many different kinds of food options. Also one night we had a drink at the small lobby bar and the bartender was super nice as well. My sister and I stayed three nights and overall thought it was a great hotel for leisure travelers that enjoy walking.

This is a lovely hotel with the best customer service, the staff were always happy to help and very welcoming. It was easy to get around central Vienna due to the excellent location. We loved the free use of the sauna and breakfast was good. We chose a “quiet room” which was very clean and you could not hear a sound as it faced into the courtyard.
