I have been staying at Flemmings hotel for last 6 years. Through the years I have been seeing changes. The first few years, they used to provide two bottles of water, coffee and milk, clean the rooms on a daily basis. Now, one bottle water as welcome, coffe and clean the rooms every two days. It doesn’t feel like I am in a hotel anymore. I would like my room to be cleaned everyday if I’m staying outside of my known environment and if I’m in a hotel settings. I can buy water and coffee, no problem, but I want my room to be cleaned everyday.

We would have appreciated a more interactive freindly service -only the doorman asked every day how we were.the greeting we had on arrival was lukewarm We also spent a considerable time trying to connect our devices to the T.V. When we asked we were informed only android mobiles work-would have been good to either be told this or have a notice in our room informing us of this when The evening before we left early the following morning,we asked for a 2:30 am wake up call .We didnt get oneThis is our 2nd stay here in the hotel our experience was not as welcoming

I concur with some "recent" reviews prior to ours that our overall ck in was less than expected based on extensive reviews before we booked. The female front desk staff was very flat handed us the key with really no welcome or info about anything in hotel. In "writing" from Expedia we showed a booking for a room with a balcony/city view in which the staff indicated we did not have a reservation? We booked 3 mos in advance. Either Expedia misrepresented this info on there website or the hotel denied us what we paid for which I will take up with Expedia.Our room did have a city view only no balcony. I could nickpik minor things but ultimately the room was clean.We never went back down and dealt with front desk again until ck out. Now what saved this hotel from a low rating was the downstairs breakfast staff and how delightful and attentive they were to all. The selection and variety of all options of food had a wonderful presentation and they worked very hard to keep everything clean plus they were engaging. A special shout out to Rosita whos personality shines and made our experience delightful every morning. Location a plus, safe area and clean.

We booked the middle choice on Expedia and got downgraded to the basement. Staff never checked in with us to see how our stay was. The room had cobwebs and bugs. The walls are thin so you can hear all of the neighboring noises and you hear ever time the toilet flushes via the pipes in the rooms above us. House keeping did make the bed everyday though. Don't have a whole lot to praise the hotel for unfortunately. We had to shift our way through conference goers in the hallway from our elevator (not even the main elevator) at the back of the hotel.

A lovely hotel in a superb location. A tram stop is right across the street, and the Rathaus square (and Christmas market, Vienna's largest) is an easy walk. Staff were very nice, and the breakfast buffet is sumptuous. We loved Eiles, the coffee bar/restaurant just half a block away.

Just bang average overall and overpriced. Staff are not very helpful upon check in (provided no overview of property, handed key card without room number). Whole vibe feels more like a hostel than hotel which is a shame given the price point. You only get your room cleaned every two nights so if you stay for two nights your room never gets freshened. Spend the $50/night to go somewhere else cause this place ain’t worth it.

Location was perfect. 20 minutes walk to reach most of the old town areas, parks and restaurants. Rooms are so spacious, although I didn’t like the bathrooms being open area with the room.m, with only a curtain separating them. I also hoped that there was a Concierge desk to help us. Otherwise all front desk staff were very helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like the Taxi arranged to take us to the Airport charged us €10 more than what we told by the hotel employee.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel, within walking distance to everything! There’s a tram stop right by the hotel and a subway stop within 10 minutes. We loved it! If you opt not to have the hotel breakfast, there’s a great breakfast place just down the street (Cafe Eiles) and a bakery next door. The staff let us check in as soon as we arrived, way ahead of the check in time.

It is super odd to have glass shower in the middle of the room regardless with whom you are staying. It’s also means noise in the room when someone takes shower in the room on the floor above. If I saw it in the picture of the room I have selected to book, I would not proceed with the hotel. Getting the glass frosted at least from 2 sides would be great

I asked an employee where I could get something to eat - he told me to order from the bar - I sat at the bar 15 minutes when he finally asked me what I wanted. But the person(s) who designed the rooms got awfully carried away - to the point of being neither courteous nor polite: He or she took out on this hotel the frustration at having failed in some earlier design competition.
Our unit looked like a failed jugendstil project.
Not only were the surfaces excessively bright; they were ugly, too. The placement of the glass-enclosed shower looked like the loser in a contest, What's the Silliest Placement for a Shower? Further, the space inside this science-experiment module was terribly small and had nothing to hold onto.
But that wasn't the worst design feature. The winner? The room's lighting. From the ridiculous system - one had to put a card in a slot by the door, which turned on at least a dozen lights; then, one went about, turning off the eleven that weren't needed - to the harshness of the painfully bright, pinpoint illumination, the effect yielded temporary blindness or gave one a headache.
Could all of these harsh lights be an environmentally sound design, let alone a helpful way for guests to see what they need to do?

Good central location. Clean and friendly. Some variation on the breakfast buffet would have been nice. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable.
