Excellent assistance from the after-hours telephone service. We speak English only, and were impressed with the communication skills. We had made the reservation late, after office hours, and were further delayed by train disruptions so did not arrive until 11pm.
Good location for us exploring Vienna on foot as well as attending concert. Very comfortable room true to the on-line descriptions.

the location is great. Checkin is great. They offer coffee in the lobby and have a nice courtyard in which to enjoy is. It was really hot and we asked for a fan. They said they would bring one, but forgot. We spent a pretty miserable night, but got one the next day.

Very disappointed

We got different room from what we booked for. We were excited to stay comfort studio suit which has 2 floors. However they over booked and changed our room without asking. When we claimed, they said it’s upgrade and we got bigger room. But for us, the room was maybe bigger but has just 1 floor ordinary room. We chose this apartment because we wanted to stay 2 floors room. We are currently requesting refund.

Very good location near Rathaus with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Lots of space, comfortable bed, coffee in the hotel lobby. Our dishwasher wasn't working but was dealt with when we reported it. The lift is very small but we preferred the stairs anyway. Would consider staying there again.

It's location was great. The apartment was cute but the kitchen sink did not have hot water for 2 days.

I have not been able to get them to respond to my request for a receipt from the car service that they called despite email and whats app.

They seem reasonably friendly.

Great location ... but ...

It must have been really nice a long time ago. Now it is quite tired, and actually a bit shambolic: the only TV channels that work are the two Austrians, there is nowhere near enough kitchen equipment (e.g. no kitchen towel, and only two big pots that don't fit on the stove simultaneously). Our first night was compromised by an incredibly loud group of children, and management did not interfere ... I probably wouldn't come back, even if the location is great.

We had trouble opening the coach bed, very old. In the reception of the hotel. They said the breakfast was included, then we didn’t receive the breakfast the first day, the second and third we received the food in the room. When we were doing the checkout. They charged for the breakfast of the 3days even when we didn’t get the breakfast. I was very upset and the staff didn’t care for the customers. Poor service. I do not recommend the place.

Don’t believe the photos.

The photos on the website are a total lie. The apartments are very poorly maintained and very basic. They are not cleaned properly at all. There are a few basic utensils and a kettle, a fridge but no freezer. I think people use the apartments as they photos are really good. The overall experience is poor.

A reasonable location to stay in Vienna that is near the center. I wouldnt call it a hotel, as it doesnt have any amenities.

If you are looking for an alternative to an Airbnb rental, this would provide the same level of comfort.

Clean hotel but not great facilities

Clean hotel, but lacking facilities.
No restaurant within hotel or bar or place to get breakfast.
Room was falling apart and despite saying it was a kitchenette apartment, didn't have a fridge, had a kettle with no tea or coffee and a microwave that couldn't be plugged in.
Most of the lights didn't Work, the shower leaked and if you were 6ft tall as I am you couldn't stand up in it.
Sofa was falling apart and lots of ants, curtains were falling down and missing.
Hotel was very cheap tho.

You won't be disappointed

Thank you to the staff!!! After a long day of driving and arriving after hours my key and paperwork was waiting and I was met by a young man who assited me with my bags and took my car to the parking garage. Although there was a mix up with my room the female on day shift quickly resolved it and provided information for tours within the city that was so helpful. I truly thank her because although I was very tired she was so very polite and helpful. Also the cafe next to the hotel is a must!! The young lady was so kind and carried my food to my room...I would absolutely recommend this hotel!!! Again thank you to all the staff...

From now on our favourite place to stay in Vienna!

The Levante Laudon is a place that I can highly recommend. The apartments are so spacious, that I felt at home from the first moment. The staff is friendly. We chose the apartment because we wanted to have the ability to prepare our own meals. There was some noise from construction works next to our room, and we received another room immediately. Some items in the kitchen were missing, but the staff always helps you out. A tram station is next to the hotel, you will also find bars, restaurants, supermarkets close by. The city center is at a walking distance of 20 minutes.

Terrible hotel should be avoided at all costs.

This hotel is not fit for dogs let alone a family with a young child! Where do I start? The lift is not big enough to get a pushchair in so you have to carry this up a spiral staircase, this is some cases could be 1, 2 or 3 flights of stairs! On to the room, we were put on the first floor to begin with, well on opening the door the handle fell off completely in our hands. The mattresses on the sofa bed and in the bedroom were soiled and so bad that even the reception team looked disgusted when I showed them the photos. The floors were dirty, curtains/nets filthy, in fact the whole room was dirty! The main lamp was broken and the curtain pole was hanging on by a thread. The kitchen has some utensils but not enough for a family and these were still dirty on our arrival. There was no kettle either. There was a small nail sticking out in the units in the kitchen which my partner caught her hand on. The flooring well the edging was breaking apart and the door bar was raised so you were likely to trip over it. The bath had mould growing between the tiles and the bath itself had the enamel coming off it, this was so bad that it looked like they had covered it by splashing paint along it. (Some photos attached to show you in more detail). We were moved to another room, but this was a smaller room and on the 2nd floor so more trekking of a buggy up flights of stairs!!! The room upon inspection was slightly better but again soiled mattresses and filthy....even after it "being cleaned".

We had a 10 mo. baby with us. The major problems were
- the dishwasher did not work even after it was supposedly fixed
- We had to ask for every little thing, i.e. high chair for baby, dishes, kitchen towel, broom (which has never arrived)
- Forget washing dishes when dishwasher is broken. There is no way or space to dry the dishes. The kitchen area is a small counter with a sink so you cannot put anything there.

On the positive side. This is a quite location. The apartment is of good size and seems reasonably comfortable.

No air conditioner, fridge door fell off, requested iron and the cord was sticky taped together, utensils in kitchen missing egg flip, spoon, pot (there was only one small fry pan). Had to ask for towels when needed. Mattress on sofa bed falling in at one end so my kids were uncomfortable. Washing machine and dryer not working properly. We had to hang our clothing to dry all around our apartment to dry. If you wanted a breakfast (if it was included in your price) it is not located in house. You need to go for a 20min walk for beaky. Lift very small. We were on the 3rd floor and had to walk the steps more often than the lift. On the last day fire alarm went off and people were confused about proceedures. This was our check out day. I loved Vienna but serious issues with the accommodation when we paid good money. I could not list all the problems would be here all day and I am not a fussy person. I just need somewhere that is practical and sleep at night as we were going out everyday. But serious issues. Oh.... and wi fi connection kept dropping out. (not important but was frustrating).

Great hotel and near to main sights

The hotel was clean with daily room service to change towels/clean the bathroom. The location is fantastic for the majority of the sights - we could walk to Stephensplatz in 20minutes and the Belvedere in 30minutes. We enjoy to walk but found taxis were quick and cheap when needed. The room was relatively quiet as well, only once in our 8 night stay were we woken up by people on the street. Really recommend the bar (it's incredibly quiet) next door for take away pizza/food, great quality and reasonably priced!

Consider carefully for more than three adults.

Hotel met expectations with the exception of the fold-out sofa bed, which was really not suitable for two adults as it was a little to flimsy. Even the two teenagers were not able to share the sofa bed and so the younger one slept in the good size double bed with the parents. Also, with the sofa bed folded out, there was very little room to move in the main room and little place to sit. The separate bedroom was a good size though and overall the stay was enjoyable, provided you are not intending to spend too much time inside.

Adequate, friendly staff but tired and hot rooms

Firstly, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Secondly, the rooms are tired and whilst generally clean, are in need of a service and a deep clean. Thirdly, if the weather is warm avoid staying here. There is no air conditioning and my room had almost no airflow (windows on courtyard side only). Finally, it is noisy; on the street side there is a bar and on the courtyard side you have guests dragging suitcases over cobblestones, all enhanced by the need to have at least some windows open to cool the room. I did not get as much sleep as I would have hoped.

Levante Laudon Apartments Vienna

Stayed here in July 2015 for one week as a family (with 2 kids). Apartment was set up well per request at time of booking. Decent neighbourhood with a few bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Supermarkets nearby also. Close to transport links, U-Bahn and trams. Walkable to the city if desired.

Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. Additional services provided were good to have - in-room wifi, laundry facilities (especially when travelling with children!) and tea/coffee making in kitchen close to reception.

Negatives for us were that the lift is extremely small, can fit only 2 people and our buggy wouldn't fit in unless folded (then could only fit with one person). Apartments have no air conditioning, so the heat was fairly intense. However we requested a fan from reception which they delivered to the room and helped greatly, but it would have been an uncomfortable stay had that not been available.

We did have daily cleaning and towel change from housekeeping but each time they left us with less towels! Ultimately it wasn't a major issue as reception arranged for additional towels to be delivered to us, but irritating nonetheless to have to call them every day.

Expect apartment, not hotel!

Travelling as a couple we spent four nights at the Levante Laudon. Expect a not especially cosy but very suitable apartment for a short stay in Vienna.
The service at the reception desk is extremely good and they helped us with taxis and we were also able to store our bags with them on the day of our departure.
Above all, the amenities are close to hand and with the Radhaus only a five minute walk away it is a prime location if you are here for sightseeing!

Simple with a good location

Who doesn't love a loft? With a full kitchen and separate living space from the bedroom, it was fun to feel like a local in Vienna. The room was furnished with IKEA-style furniture and didn't have the feel of an American hotel, but the room was clean and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The walk into town wasn't bad. There's a bus stop within one block and several subway stops near by. We didn't used the subway except on our way in and out of town because we were close enough to just walk into the town center.

We had a great time with two adults and two kids - the apartment is very small but well laid out. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good location with trams and buses around the corner and a lot to explore nearby on foot. Some of viennas best 3rd wave coffee shops are within 5 minutes walk.

The location was good - not too far from the main attractions. There is also a very good crêpe close by at 'cafe der provinz' for breakfast/brunch. The hotel staff was also friendly and the room was tidy. Good value in my books!

Buyer beware. When they say coffee/tea that is in the lobby not in your room. I rent an apartment to have coffee in my room. Not in the lobby. You get what you pay for. No air-conditioning on the 4th floor was unbearable in August. Pay extra for air-conditioning!

No coffee maker in the apartment

When you have no air conditioning in this apartment, it was just miserable. Plus on the 4th floor was worse. Also, I rent an apartment to have a coffee maker in my room. Not downstairs in the lobby but in my room. The false information on Hotels.com is buyer beware. Communicate directly with the hotel before you book your rooms. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice.

This is a nice place to spend a weekend/week in Vienna. Just about everything you could need in your room. Its a quiet nice location, but within walking distance of Rathaus and then the subway to the rest of Vienna. Reception desk was friendly and offers free coffee when they are open (8am-6pm, i think). They also let us check in early as a room was available. Stairways to the top floors could do with lighting at night, but that just about my only complaint.

The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished, although the wooden flooring seemed rather old and is in need of a replacement. The building is also old and needs a renovation as well. I wish that the hotel reception is 24 hours instead of it being closed at 6pm, which makes asking questions at the reception inconvenient. Or at least make the tea and coffee lounge in the lobby 24 hours. Location is average but easy to get from the Westbahnhof via tram no. 5 and a 5-10min walk to Rathaus metro station. For the price I paid, this apartment hotel is really good.

The reception staff was polite and fairly helpful. The only problem we encountered was in using the laundry facilities (which was rather sparse for the number of apartments in the building--two small washers and a single dryer which never really dried our clothes); however, the receptionist, who could not get the dryer to work any better, did at least provide us with a drying rack. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

A warm apartment

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room is at the top floor and is warm enough during a chilly April weather. The surroundings of the hotel is also quiet. It's not quite close to the metro - about 10 minutes walk. There are also several supermarkets nearby for grocery items -which is good. The tea and coffee corner located on the lobby floor is good for guests. On the whole, it was a very good experience.

Great Price for a Good Room

We were very happy with our apartment. The bed was comfortable and the location convenient to the university (where my husband was attending a conference). It was nice to have a refrigerator, sink, and oven. We warmed up some leftover grostl for breakfast a couple of days, and generally saved some $ by buying groceries instead of eating breakfasts out. If you are expecting some kind of luxury hotel, or if you are very dependent on having the front desk staff there at all times, it might not be good for you, but if you are an independent traveler, no problem! If you are coming from another country, note that they have adaptors available (for a deposit, which you get back at the end), which was a great convenience.

Nice modern decor

Easy to get to from the Westbanhof Wien station using the no 5 tram. A rather long walk to the museum qtr but walkable. A rather long walk to the underground as well. Not much to do in the vicinity though there are good restaurants nearby. we ate at the sushi buffet nearby for lunch and there is a nice Italian place along the street parallel.

We had a fantastic holiday in Vienna, the hotel appartmrnt was more than we hoped for.It is located very near to the rathaus ,there are a number of very good restaurants nearby.We made our own breakfast in the appartment as it was more convenient with 3 children and there is a Billa supermarket close by.The appartment is set in an old style building but with all the modern mods and cons and 5 min walk to the underground u-bahn, with easy access to any part of the city from there.The hotel staff were excellent, even when our son suffered an asthma attack while there, Fransis at reception had a doctor called for us straight away and he came straight to our room which was so convenient [thank you Fransis].Overall when we do return to Vienna next year this is the only place i would consider staying with .Absolutley loved it.

Room was Too Hot !!!!

Walked into the room and it was extremely hot. Had to open the windows all night, which meant we heard street noise so did not sleep very well. Heat continued despite trying to turn off all heaters. Complained to reception and only received a "sorry". Would not stay here again.

Great price for size, and location. Friendly staff who spoke English, plus very helpful with providing directions to local areas. Parking is located within a five minute walk, but you are able to park in front of hotel to off load personnel and luggage.

Great Location

Perfectly comfortable place to stay. Great location. Service was spotty but that's partly because they don't staff the apartments after 6pm. Otherwise, definitely walking distance to all of central Vienna and metro lines. Good price as well.

Good value in convenient location

The Levant Loudon Apartments are located Josephstad, a quiet area with walking distance from the excitement of central Vienna. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped. Markets and neighborhood restaurants are nearby. The staff is helpful.

Good place to stay with lots of room., however we stayed during a heat wave and with no air con it was difficult to sleep. With windows open it was extremely noisy. Would be fantastic in cooler months. Very helpful staff.

Nice hotel, a little noisy though

These apartments were nice, but we did run into a couple hiccups. The check-in went smooth and we had no trouble locating the hotel. The hotel is also in a really nice location. The rooms have been renovated recently. Our air condition was broken though and it was not fixed during our stay. The street next to the hotel was quite noisy though-- there's a bar directly underneath and traffic was also quite loud. Overall, the room was nice and beds were comfortable aside from the heat and noise.

Very good hotel for the price. Great location. friendly and helpful staff, free wifi, and many shops nearby. The only blemish is that the reception was opened till 6 p.m. We came from Munich at 9 p. m. The door was closed and no one responded our calls by intercom. We spent 15 minuts outdoor under heavy rain and could get in only by a chance.

Great hotel for families

It´s great for several days. Breakfast and dinner can be eaten in the apartment, saving money, especially for familes. We eat granola, fruit and coffee for breakfast at 7 and nothing is open.
The location is nice, easy access to public transport. There´s no hairdryer in the room . When I asked about it I was offered one, but as I was on my was out I never saw it.
The kitchen is nice and the living/dining area ample.

Staff is available 7AM to 6PM but this was never a problem. Great apartment located near Rat House (city hall) in Vienna. This place exceeded our expectations. My wife and I would stay here again.

The hotel was well placed for easy public transport and for ebike access.
Use. It was close to shopping for groceries. There
Were enough utensils for meal preparation. The cooking
Facilities were stainless steel making cleanliness easy.
The reception staff were very polite, spoke English, in our case
Helped with booking 2 events on their computer and phone.
We would certainly stay there again and our Expedia
Rate was very reasonable for our May visit

Good Visit

WE had a good visit and the location was certainly very good. The neighbourhood seemed a little dingey but what can you expect from a very old area. The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room on the top floor had a very steep roof line which tended to attract my head. Our bed room was up a spiral stair case which made it somewhat awkward to manage with large bags. It also had no window and did get quite stuffy on one night. Overall we enjoyed our stay but might not like that room in the heat of the summer.

A Bargain for Travellers

Great hotel especially for the price range. We were more than pleased but the room needs air conditioning. The only glitch was the fact that the taxi that the staff reserved for us on our final day did not show up! This was not the fault of the staff but I would recommend that they find another taxi company if this was experience by other guests. The result was that at 6:30 am my wife and I had to run to the nearest main throughfare to hail a taxi to get us to the airport in time.
