The hotel was okay for what we needed. All staff with the exception of one were excellent. The younger guy on the desk on arrival perhaps could have been a bit more welcoming and given a bit more information about our stay.
Would have been really nice to have a kettle in the room or access to the coffee machine available throughout the day. At times it was so cold and wanted to just come back to the room and relax but a hot drink would be nice.
The rooms were generally clean.
Location was good for the Christmas market and not too far from the airport.
Lots of coffee shops, noodle bars, kebabs and pharmacies but choices of restaurants were limited..

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay but the bread wasn’t always fresh. The room attendant didn’t always provide clean towels but hung the used ones back up if they weren’t dirty. The room attendant didn’t always provide new toilet rolls even when there were none left. The safe didn’t have instructions in English and after making the reception aware, nothing happened. I found it difficult to get to sleep as the trams ran right outside my bedroom window. I was woken up earlier than I would have liked because of this. The WI-FI was poor and I ended up using my data as a work-around.

Although not in the centre of Vienna, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Hofburg and other sites. The restaurants around the hotel are a little cheaper also because they aren’t on the tourist radar. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant to talk to.
The hotel itself is very nice, the dining area in particular is well decorated. The breakfast was good, with muesli, fruit, hams and cheeses on offer as well as cooked eggs.
My room was modern and clean, the bathroom had a slightly odd layout and the shower was a little grotty (not dirty but just typical discolouration in older showers).
I really enjoyed my stay and would visit again if in Vienna.

cold service, monotonous breakfast, dirty and worst of all - no hot water in the bathroom. The water was barely warm. Only one key to the room - very inconvenient. Mold in the bathroom.

Welcomed to be told \"we're overbooked and someone's not going to be staying here\". What an unpleasant statement to make to your guest when they arrive!!
The room itself was clean and fine. Everything worked. Trams on the doorstep - very useful.

We had room 7, which is on the roadside so you can hear the trams. A little loud, but bearable. Main issue was the bathroom fan would come on with the light switch and would squeak rather high pitched for 3-5 minutes afterwards, even after turning the light off.

Nice hotel, good location

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to the town hall (and Christmas markets!). Hotel is very pretty inside, check in staff were helpful and friendly and rooms were comfortable and clean. A good base for a shopping trip with friends!

Hotel close to the university campus and tram stop directly in front of hotel.Good room size. Bathrooms require some modernising. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

Shops and restaurants near by. ~25 min walk to centre of the city. However, all nearby shops are closed early on a Saturday and closed completely on Sunday.

Stayed there one night. Standard room not so clean but satisfied . Put our kids to sleep and when turned light on we saw bedbug on a pillow!!!!took another pillow and under was 2 more bedbags!!!
Service changed our room and next room was clean even bathroom was cleaner. Anyway we could not sleep well after!!!

Best part of this hotel are the employees, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is actually on a second floor of an apartment building, which is kind of odd. The rooms were tight but OK. Our room had a lot of spider webs and towels were ripped and old. Also, the TV had no channels so it was a bit boring at night. However, the location is decent - 20min walk to center and there are few shops and fast food restaurants near the property. Overall, the rooms are OK for the price.

The Hotel was ok and close to city center. I was thinking it would be a positive experience - until checkout - the person was saying i had 2 kids and should pay up for the breakfast. Thankfully i had the printout and showed them - i booked with 2 kids and Breakfast Included - in the email. Finally the guy agreed.

A Lovely Weekend in Vienna

Maybe one of the best places I have seen Vienna what a lovely City, if you get a chance then put this place to the top of your list. The hotel was just right for me, I had my stay on a BB single room stay, one of the owners was more than helpful in helping me find my way around the city I look forward to staying there again soon.

Nice little hotel near centre

We have decided to go to Wienna on advent weekend and we wanted to be situated near center so we could walk arround, but also looked for not-to-expensive place to stay. In pension excellence we got everything we looked for - affordable accomodation near centre with breakfast included.
Employees are all very kind, not much of them but they tend to do everything and are pretty well organized. Hotel has free wifi which works well, rooms are solid in size, with soft an comfortable bed and solid bathroom with shower. Rooms were cleared every day and towels changed. Room also has minibar in which we had two bottles of water and used it to cold our drinks. There is also a safe with key which is quite usefull (everything free of charge), and breakfast was included in price.
Only downsize was small dining room with relatively small serving place (although, it is a small hotel, so it is quite understandable), which was a bit too crowded during breakfast on our last day when there was a bit more guests - since plates with food and place for serving are relatively small, there was a time now and then in which you did not have everything avilable, but staff was bringing new plates rather quickly.

A convenient stay in Vienna

Excellent location with easy access to the 43 and 44 Vienna tram and connecting U-Bahn lines. Easy walk to the center of the city. Many reasonably-priced shops and restaurants nearby.

Outstanding service from the hotel's front desk clerks. Knowledgable, friendly, and helpful.

Lift was very helpful for bringing luggable from the street entrance to the 4th floor hotel lobby. Shower and bathroom were simple but clean. Could use a shelf to set down a toiletry case though. Bed was small, but adequate and comfortable.

Morning breakfast was simple but quite adequate, although you might be more satisfied stepping out to Aida's or one of the other nearby cafes on Alser Strasse for a coffee and a pastry.

The non-smoking room and the bed, linens, etc. wreaked of cigarette smoke. The noise from the street trams was very noticeable and would be disturbing to a light sleeper.

Overall a good value and a good location.

In one word: excellence

This hotel truly lives up to its name. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure all my needs for comfort and service were met, and to accommodate all my requests. High quality, spacious room. Super clean. Modern, with furniture and linens in excellent condition. Breakfast included a wide variety of food for every taste. Wifi was fast and stable throughout my stay. Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to main sights. A pleasant 10-minute ride on tram 5 takes you from the hotel doorstep to the Westbanhof train station. Spar supermarket is a 2-minute walk away. All this for a very reasonable and comparatively low price. Highly recommended. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Good hotel near attractions.

Nice place, near the main attractions. Breakfast is ok. Front desk personnel is not consistent, there's one gentleman that speaks Italian as well as English that is very nice and helpful, however not all are like him. But overall I do recommend this hotel, it's a very good value for the money you pay.

Room was very comfortable, although no air conditioning made for very little sleep during summer heat wave. Leaving the windows open all night meant that it was very noisy, however the hosts were very friendly and location was excellent.

The rooms seem to have been renovated recently. My room to the front was a bit loud because of the tram, but for a two day business stay at nearby Medical University is was just alright. (It is also close enough to walk to the inner city.) A big plus is the night porter.

Leider hat die Heizung nicht funktioniert als ich gekommen bin am Abig war das Zimmer eiskalt. Erst nach Reklamation wurde ein Ofen gebracht der das Zimmer nach 4h auf eine normale Temperatur gebracht hat also erste Nacht im gefroren. Ich hätte erwartet das hier am Preis was erlassen wird leider keine Reaktion. Daher nicht zum empfehlen.

La struttura si trova in una posizione ideale: la fermata del tram è proprio di fronte e la Rathausplatz è raggiungibile a piedi in cinque minuti. La camera era calda, pulita e accogliente. La colazione non è particolarmente ricca, ma nel complesso adeguata. Buona soluzione per un soggiorno pratico e vicino al centro.

Lever ikke op til, at være et 4 stjernet hotel.

Smukt hotel med flot indretning, dog noget mindre end forventet. Specielt parkeringspladsen, der som havde 5 pladser! Rengøringen kunne gøres meget bedre, der blev ikke skiftet sengetøj eller lagn én eneste gang! Trods der blev sat rengøringsskilt op foran døren til værelset. Så blev der kun støvsuget og tømt skraldespande. Hverken toilet eller vask samt spejl blev rengjort, hvilket er for ringe! Ligeledes manglede der opfyldning af både toiletpapir og håndsæbe som vi selv måtte påpege manglede.
Morgenmaden var fin, men meget lidt udvalg og dårlig kvalitet af juice.

Så alt i alt ikke den størreste begejstring, som man forventede af et 4 stjernet hotel.

Das Hotel macht den Eindruck, auf Verschleiß gefahren zu werden: Lose Handtuch- und Toilettenpapierhalter, der WLAN-AP hängt am LAN-Kabel von der Decke, mit der Tischplatte des einbeingen Tisches im Frühstücksraum kann man Kinderwippe spielen, der Duschkopf ist verkalkt und verschimmelt, der Aufzug defekt... Kurz: Für das aufgerufene Geld bekommt man in Wien anderenorts deutlich besseres.

Zimmer sonst sauber. Bad ok geputzt.

Das Personal war freundlich, besonders der diensthabende Herr erfüllte jeden Wunsch. Möglicherweise war für die Reinigung nicht genügend Personal verfügbar. Die Betten waren sehr gut. Die stadtnahe Lage war besonders günstig, auch fußläufig zu erreichen.

2층에 있어요. 엘베있습니다. 웨스트역에서 5번 트램타면 바로 앞이에요. 연말에 엄청 비쌀때 합리적인 가격으로 예약했어요. 생각보다 방은 괜찮은데 샤워시설이 많이 낡고 좁았어요. 싱글룸이라 이해합니다. 생각보다 좋았습니다.

Toller zentral gelegener Altbau. Leider waren die Rühreier jeden morgen kalt. Herzhafte Auswahl war sehr groß, übriges eher überschaubar. Abzug im Bad sehr stark verschmutzt.

Hotel is far and service is bad also.

Hotel was ok not so good or bad. Hotel is far like 25 min by walk from Vienna city center like Opera.Breakfast was not so good, but that Chinese or Korean girl who served breakfast really good and helpful.Hotel cleaning was not good stayed with family 4 nights just changed towels two times, didn't changed bed sheets and didn't clean even bathroom also.Really bad service. If new going guest think hotel is close to city as hotel menion, don't trust on them it's far and old hotel and even they say 4 star hotel, but hotel condition and service is like 2 or 3 star hotel. I don't recommended this hotel for myself or someone else also, if next time, i'll travel to Vienna again.

Albergo è molto vicino al centro. Ha un garage per poter parcheggiare visto che a Vienna è tutto divieto buona la colazione invece la pulizia della camera è molto molto deludente i bagni non sono all'altezza delle 4 stelle
