The rooms are very small and dated. It had a moldy old smell. After 2 nights I came back to my room with a note that says I need to vacate my room due to plumbing issues. This is not acceptable because Injad reservations early the next morning and now I have to pack to change my room.

Such a shame that this 25 hours isn't as good as others in the hotel chain. Stayed for 4 nights in December. The hotel held a function on 2 nights of this with very loud music blaring until after midnight. Another night the hotel was swamped by a huge group of people from the city going to another event at the hotel. The restaurant is slow and understaffed and we waited 20 minutes just for someone to ask us if we wanted to order drinks.The rooms are small. The shower was broken (although they did fix it when told). Grouting in the bathroom mouldy. No kettle or coffee machine or water. Poor storage for clothes. No wardrobe only hangers and open hooks. Grimy, broken soft toy left for guests. Not enough staff on reception sometimes. Slow to clean rooms. Often not cleaned until 4pm. I loved this hotel chain in other cities, but will probably not return to this chain again after this stay.

2nd time at this hotel and will come back for 3!!!

This was my second stay at the same hotel in Vienna… It was super clean, the staff is always courteous and I love the theming of this hotel. I will definitely keep coming back here if I ever make it to Vienna again.

We have mixed feelings about this 25hour hotel. Some of the pro were quite while some some of the cons were disturbing.

Cons:

1. Room Noise - The 7floor rooms are very noisy. They are right below the rooftop bar/disco. Loud bass and drums can keep you away late at night if you choose this floor.

2. Room Condition - Our room had torn wallpaper and a broken kitchen faucet base. Lighting is too dim. Several drapery panels were loose. The room needed to be reconditioned and repaired.

3. Restaurant - The food was average. Service is slow.

Pros

1. Location - The location is fantastic for tourist. Local restaurants are great and plentiful. Museums and closely. Public transportation is steps away, safe and easy to use.

2. Staff - The staff was very helpful and friendly and tried to resolve all issues to the best of their ability.

3. Fun - The decor is fun and inventive.

The hotel is a glorified dorm. Bad soundproofing. Minimalistic furnishings that are downright cheap.Noisy rooftop bar.Also, I could hear people in the room above stomping for hours. Not even sure what can one do there… but alas. On demand room cleaning. Meaning you have to request that.Not recommended for an extended stay if you like to chill and enjoy the room. That like a place to crash. And bring ear plugs along. Thanks

I wouldn't stay here again. It is evidently to some people's taste, but I found it quite irritating. As soon as we arrived, the lady checking us in said we'd be charged 75 euros \"just in case\" - whilst it's normal for hotels to take your card details, the way this was expressed made it seem that we were clearly thieves and so our card needed to be charged. The lady also communicated details about breakfast, mini bar etc etc far to quickly to take in - perhaps they can slow down a bit or put it on a piece of paper in the room - but left out important information about wifi, room servicing etc. In terms of the room, I really disliked the fact that the floor was stone but they didn't provide slippers. They also didn't provide a bathrobe or coffee in the room. Instead, they provided a bag for use (because clearly travellers don't have bags with them), access to a soft toy and \"free\" beers, coke and water. Whilst they sell conditioner in the shop downstairs, they didn't provide it in the bathroom, which is a bit cheap of them and not helpful for guests with long hair. The safe is the tiniest I've come across in a hotel ever. One morning, drilling in reception started at 8.15am and they had an \"oh well, it was awful for everyone\" approach to it. The whole things strikes me as a failed attempt at uber-trendiness but it's basically style over substance and the hotel's post post post post etc modern \"we're all mad here\" 90s ad-land thing doesn't compensate for the lack of comfort.

This place has a great vibe! The staff was super helpful and the park next to the hotel was a bonus. We really appreciated the complementary stocked refrigerator. The lobby was a great place to hang out! Loved everything about 25hour except the hallways leading to the rooms. The hallway lighting, carpet and wall decor was creepy. The circus theme works in the rest of the property but the hallways were not good.

25hours has an off-beat character that I really liked. Odd phrases posted in various locations and on the pillows gave it a unique and friendly vibe. The breakfast was a huge variety and quite good. Won’t be stopping again

Room floor wasn’t clean and there was dust piles up one wall. We booked to rooms - paid for last year. We were told:-
One room paid for the other wasn’t!
Told we had only booked one room!
Then told we owed for a night !
Also told everything was ok.
The hotel took £336 out of our account - told by the manager it was policy to take any deposit amount that they felt like
Breakfast very expensive- 29euro (lots of cheaper options available nearby)
Asked for a taxi to airport and was quoted 60 euros. We booked direct for 40 euros.
In one room the aircon didn’t work and wasn’t fixed…… I’ll stop here as I don’t normally complain.

They thought of everything so you don’t have to

The hotel is amazing! It’s the place to be. The amenities and facility are fantastic. The rooftop bar, the downstairs bar, the workout rooms. All the little details in your room like free fridge items and anything you could need like a speaker. They had thought of every little thing and it was a real treat getting to stay here. I already can’t wait to be back!

This hotel is quirky and cute - I love their \"do not disturb signs!\". The beds are comfortable, the shower is good, the room is a good size. The hotel is centrally located and very close to the subway, trams and other places of interest. The staff is friendly and helpful. We lost our luggage and they were very nice to give us some things we needed until we got back our bag. They securely kept our bag when it was delivered from the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The property was lovely with great amenities. I didn’t rate it a 5 because of the room. The medium size room is pretty small and climate was not working well, so it was pretty warm in the room. With that being said, the hotel itself is great as it has a spa, a delicious restaurant and an amazing rooftop bar! We ended our night at the rooftop bar each day during our stay, it was fantastic. Great vibes, music, there was dancing, and delicious drinks! The location is very walkable and transportation is very accessible.

Not a massive fan of the hotel, it fit what we needed and chose to stay as we’ve stayed in other hotels in the 25hours family, but we weren’t enamoured with this hotel. The decor was quite whacky and seemed a bit outdated in places. Lobby was lovely. We were given a room on a low floor so it was very noisy, very hot (room was hot and couldn’t cool without windows open making it noisier) & the bed linen wasn’t great - duvet stained etc. It was conveniently located, but wouldn’t stay again.

The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location, with fantastic bars and restaurants nearby, all frequented by locals. However, the rest of my experience was disappointing, and the reasons for my low rating are too lengthy to fully explain. The biggest issue was the nightclub located directly above my room, which completely ruined my 4-night stay. Despite booking the most expensive room, it felt very basic, with the incredible view being the only highlight.

There was poor management, with no communication between the front desk and management. The room came with a free mini-bar, but it was never stocked, even after I requested it three times. The hotel's website was misleading, and the room description and facilities did not align with what was actually offered. The promised luxury experience was far from what I received.

I have already informed both Expedia and the hotel that this booking violated my consumer rights, and I’ve filed a formal complaint. I’m awaiting a response and will pursue further action if needed. I hope the hotel updates their website with a disclaimer about the noise issue, especially for their highest-grade rooms.

Quirky decor, really friendly staff, well appointed rooms. Excellent location, convenient for trains and trams. Great service in the restaurant, with a good selection available for breakfast.
Stayed for a long weekend to visit the christmas markets which were easily accessible on foot or by public transport. Would definitely recommend.

We just absolutely loved this hotel! Great position, close to everything. Walking distance to Christmas markets, less than a 10 min walk. Room was spotless, amazing shower. Quirky and fun decor and atmosphere. Highly recommended and we would love to stay again :)

A great place to stay and visit Vienna for a weekend break.
Loved the rooms, great shower, free minibar and restocked, everything is of a good quality high 4 star. Pillows good, bedding and everything was clean and accessible. It was lovely and quiet and so central. The roof top bar and Cj on Friday evening was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend and stay again at this chain of hotel.

Cool vibes, fabulous hotel

Fabulous location for museums, getting into the sights of central Vienna, and lots of cool restaurants in the streets behind the hotel.
The overall vibe is very cool - nowhere more so than in the rooftop bar. Friendly and efficient staff in all the right places.

We stayed there for 6 nights and it was 5 days too many. For a 4 star hotel, the air conditioning doesn’t work at all. We had moved room once because of the AC but the next room also did not have AC. The staff will tell you to tweak your settings but all we had was hot air coming out instead of cool air. If you look at the hotel from the outside, you will see almost all rooms had their windows opened so i suspect AC didn’t work for most people. It was a busy road with many ambulance / police going through. Without AC, we were forced to keep our windows open which meant many sleepless nights. Do not recommend for more than 1 night unless it’s winter or you like a sauna for a room.

I liked this room, it was very clean and I loved all the funky art around the hotel, including the rooms. The spa was lovely and having a foot bath after a long day of walking was very welcomed. The hotel had a gift shop which I thought was cute. The location was walkable and we walked everywhere we went during our trip. Would recommend this hotel

25hours Hotel Vienna at MuseumsQuartier is well located and has a funky edge which is fun and pleasantly different to other hotels.

Facilities such as the gym, a huge sauna and restaurant are excellent and reception staff are friendly and helpful.

And a free mini bar with beer, water and soft drink, which is restocked on request (I only found this out on my 3rd night), is a nice touch.

The room we had (409) was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Unfortunately, there were a few major housekeeping issues which detracted from our experience:

1. The tile grout in the shower was very mouldy. I had to ask for this to be cleaned.
2. Inside the toilet bowel, under the waterline, it was dark and very stained. I asked for this to be cleaned but it wasn't done.
3. On my 3rd night, we did not have any bath towels. The hotel had run out! The towels that we'd placed on the floor for replacement were hung back up by housekeeping.
When I called reception to ask about this, I was advised that there were no fresh bath towels and we were given a hand towel to use!

Also, all the towels are old and discoloured. They need to be bleached.

Overall, this was a 3 out of 5 star experience which could have been 5 out of 5 if not for the above mentioned housekeeping issues.
