Lovely hotel in a great location close to public transport.
Rooms are a good size and equipped with a small kitchen, only downside is the rooms get extremely warm and there is no way to cool them down other than opening the balcony door.
Staff are all friendly and happy to help with any questions

There's a parking lot next to the hotel, but the route from check-in to the parking lot is a bit complicated. I arrived early and tried to leave my luggage. However, the luggage storage door was open and they told me to leave it there without attaching a tag, so I was worried and loaded it back into my car. Public transportation is easily accessible and there are restaurants within a six-minute walk. Everything else was great.

Excellent stay with 1 minor glitch

Clean, modern hotel. Not too far from tram or bus stop. Metro is a 12 min walk though. Google maps from the city to hotel shows St Marx on 71 tram as the stop. But if you go to next stop (Litfasstrasse) your walk time to hotel is cut to half.
Now the glitch part. Hotel staff was nice and accommodating. Except once when my kid asked for a tea bag to replenish the coffee/tea in the room, she was told by the front desk lady no tea bags to replenish. Even though we stayed for 7 days. 1 extra tea bag would not hurt the hotel for the long stay guests. But after i asked the gentleman in front desk the next day, he had no issue with my request.
May be it’s a teaching moment to the girl in front desk-you can’t say no to a simple tea bag request. It hurts the reputation of the business. And reputation is a big deal in hospitality industry.

We arrived late but check in was nice and quick, we had room 303 and it was really nice, especially after a long tiring journey. The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was an excellent size. The shower had good pressure and no temperature issues. The beds (2 singles pushed together) were really comfy and we looked forward to going to bed each night. The room was cleaned whilst we were out which we didn’t need and forgot to put something on the door but it was nice to have new towels and a fresh bed. Everything worked fine. Didn’t use the tv or kettle but hairdryer was decent and powerful with being too loud and there were some nice toiletries available. Really happy with this hotel and will consider any of their hotels for future stays again. Budget luxury

Very clean hotel, great staff and good breakfast. It is outside the inner city but quiet and only two walking minutes away from a tram. A 20 min ride on the tram and you find yourself in front of the opera house - as central as it gets.

Everything regarding the hotel was excellent! I would stay again :)
At first I was concerned that it's a bit far from the city center, but it wasn't bad at all. A tram station is within 3 minutes of walk.
However, the surrounding area feels a bit isolated and there isn't a nearby supermarket so it can be a bit inconvinient.

Clean hotel, fire alarm malfunction, no hot water

This would have been a perfect stay. However, at 3:30am in the middle of the night I was woken up by the fire alarm and had to wait for 30 mins in the hotel lobby for the firefighters to clear up the fire alarm. Although I understand that these issue happen, it was not pleasant.

Second issue encountered was that the hot water was not working properly at 6th floor. Water started ok, but after approx. 2 mins (just enough time to soap up) the hot water stopped and I had to rinse with cold water which was not pleasant at all. Once I mentioned at checkout the hot water issue, the gentlemen at the front desk very casually told me that they know that there are problems with the hot water .... :-(

Very clean hotel but a bit out of the way

The location isn't the best for the centre of the city, but I stayed because I needed quick access to the airport. Everything else was really nice about the hotel. Nice room, although the promised city view was into the back of the hotel loading area. Friendly and helpful staff. If you are on a business trip, as I was it's a good hotel. If you are on holiday, I'd recommend somewhereore central.

Nice spot which is not that far from old town

Rooms are well equiped, including kettle, nice large towels. Shower works well. However no free mineral water bottle and ironing board. You have a drink table for runners and complimentary apples at lobby. Breakfast is quite good, although variety of hot meals could be better.

At least a 10 minute walk to the closest U-Bahn station, and then it's 8 stops to the city center. Very inconvenient location. Also for the exorbitant price I would have expected breakfast to be included, but they wanted an extra 10 Euros. The room was fine, so I can't knock that, but I would never stay there again.

Hidden Gem few minutes from City Center

Breakfast is 10 euros each includes eggs, ham with cheese, breads, juices, lattes, espresso, yogurt, cereal and fruit.
Rooms are spacious and comfy, walk in shower was convenient and decent closet space.
Location: This hotel closet to the main train station of Wein Hopbanhof( we took out of country trains here). Local trains you take 71 train and exit either St. Marx or LItfabstrabe, hotel is near car dealers. Make sure to pay for local train pass as well, we lost our ticket and was asked to provide it to police and fined 100 euros a person for losing it, don't lose it!
Must see: We took 71 train to Opera house which is closet to City Center where Cathedral was located. It took about 15 minutes by train. Figlmuller tourist spot for huge size schnitzel, Aida is a cute pink café with cute treats, Wien Bierklinik is a cute 1400's style inn with 9 beers on tap and great food and atmosphere. Julius Meinl Market has great items to purchase from many countries found some traditional pasta from Italy, candy from UK and many more, must visit.

Close to the airport and train station.

We stayed for the first time at this hotel. It was very convenient for us to go from Vienna airport to the hotel via train. It took about 10 - 15 minutes from airport to hotel. Our room was very quiet as it was not facing the main road. The size of the room was very decent. The hotel building seems to be new, the staff could communicate well in English with us. Over all we had good experience and will stay again at this hotel.
The front desk staff, Ms. Jasmin Kiker and Ms. Amandeep were very helpful in giving us valuable tips about visiting the city through trams and Buses.

Nice hotel next to No 71 Tram stop for downtown.

Enjoyed our stay with friendly staff. There is a computer at the lobby which is linked to a printer so if you need to do online check-in, it is very convenient. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant that serves dinner. There is a small bar that has a limited menu. We arrived at the hotel at 8.30pm, and not knowing the surrounding area, we decided just to use the bar to have a snack, but all the salad dishes were sold out.

Better Options for the Price

Hotel is on the outskirts of Vienna, about a 10-20 minute trip on a tram gets you outside the \"ring\". Main problem with hotel came from the staff and layout of the room. The staff lied about charging for breakfast (said it was included when it was not), staff was not knowledgeable about the Vienna cards available. Additionally, the room layout is made of the single business traveler in mind. The bathroom has a fake stained glass window that shines in the bedroom when the bathroom light is on. It is blindingly bright for anyone in the room in the dark.

Overall will not stay here, or any other Austria Trend hotel again.

Overall the hotel was good and clean, staff were friendly. There is a tram station close by, takes roughly 10 minutes to reach the city centre, also includes night bus after midnight. Only negative point was the cleaner in the morning, Knocking loud and opening the room at betwen 7.30 - 8am, and again an hour later when checkout was up until 12pm! Quite annoying after a late night with little sleep.

I arrived at the hotel to be told that despite having a booking confirmation that they had no room for me and that they had booked me a room 15 minutes away by taxi in another hotel. I refused to leave and demanded a room. Having raised my voice I got a room ! Terrible that hotels do this!

Modern, clean hotel. Comfortable room, calm, no noise (room was on the inner side-away from highway). Free hotel parking. Very good breakfast. Underground is 10 min away by walk and it takes you to the center or to the castle Schönbrunn. The neighborhood is nothing to see and to do, it is an mostly imigrant area. On saturdays after 6 pm there are no foodstores open around. Hotel offers no dinner as well.

only stayed for one night but I will use this hotel again when I am in Vienna
the room was perfect and at a fraction of the cost of most of the other hotels in the city
there is a street car stop close to the hotel & from there you can get to any part of the city in minutes
only an hour from the airport via public transportation & with the money you save on the room it is well worth the effort

We stayed here at the end of a two week trip to Austria--we wanted a place that had parking and was close-ish to the airport. The rates were great for our large rooms, one accomodated 3 adults comfortably. The desk staff was helpful, suggesting a restaurant not far along the streetcar line. If you're looking for more space and good rates, this is a good bet. It's easy to get to the Ring via the streetcar. If you want to be right in the middle of historic old Vienna, then this will disappoint you.

Great hotel, fantastic sized room - it was HUGE, lovely staff. Provided robes, hair-dryer, great soaps/shampoos etc. Parking was free which was a huge bonus for us, as well as being very close to the motorway so easy to get to (with the help of GPS). Allowed us to take our drinks from the downstairs bar up to our room which we really appreciated.

The hotel was modern and at first glance seemed far from the city center but then staff informed us of the nearby metro stop and its ease of use. There was some confusion about the number of nights we were staying but staff was very accommodating and competent in addressing the issue. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in superior executive room on level 4 . Had booked two rooms weeks in advance but they didn't manage to allot rooms next to each other which was disappointing. They did manage to call the next day to inform about the availability but in my view this shouldn't have happened.
Wifi is free but signal in the room is poor.

Breakfast is not great. To be avoided.

Hotel with great rates and hidden fees

This hotel was a great experience for my first trip to Austria and it was just as described and the hotel was very nice. I enjoyed the close distance by rail to the city center and the friendly staff, but I was very displeased with the 9 euro's per person I was slapped with at checkout for the \"complementary breakfast\" that was confirmed for me at checkin. I exchanged words with the young woman working the counter but she ignored my argument and just told me that should could take cash or card. I explained how terrible of service she was giving and how I was very unpleased with this and she again ignored me. So, besides this I would recommend the hotel.

Great hotel, but a couple of issues...

We stayed at the Austria Trend Hotel Doppio in Vienna for 2 nights. The Superior Executive room is massive. Seperate bathroom and toilet, cloakroom area and laptpop compatible safe. There is a small gym available if you fancy a jog or exerise. Note that the gym does not have a very wide variety of machines to use and no water available to quench your thirst.

Staff were friendly enough. For car travellers I can confirm that there is free parking although hotel.com website does not mention it specifically. The hotel's own website says it has 50 free spaces max. Although fairly full we had no trouble finding a space.

The only small downsides was that breakfast was not included in the price of the room which we felt should have been, and there is also no coffee/tea making facility in the room.

Also although all our devices showed a good wifi signal, it kept dropping out every so often so we had frequent disconnection a few times each hour which was annoying after a while. We were on the first floor at the end of the corridor.

Shops are approx 15 mins walk away and there is a tram stop in front of the hotel and underground near the shops.

Overall, we had a good stay. If the Wi-Fi signal kept a lock and breakfast or at least tea/coffee making facilities were included in the price, it would get 5 out of 5 stars. Because of these small issues I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5.
