The bed was exceptionally hard and uncomfortable and I was not able to rest properly. Because of this I would not want to stay again.

Great hotel, location and services. Car park next door and hotel gives a reduction on parking. Hotel does a super breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. Walkable to the city centre/cathedral area/university. Next door to Hydro stadium. All round perfect venue

Very odd encounter when checking in with rude staff, the room was fine but far too hot at 24 degrees which you cannot change. Advice is to open a window which only results in traffic noise. Everything else was fine.

Paid extra at check-in for the buffet breakfast and it was awful - no hot food when we arrived downstairs, people in a queue waiting for the food to arrive from the kitchen and it would disappear very quickly as it was brought out in small portions. No bread and no pastries either. Staff seemed disinterested - definitely weren’t in a rush to bring the food out. Really disappointing considering our last stay was faultless. Our room was clean, the lady at check-in was lovely and the bar had a good atmosphere after the concert. It’s in a great location for events but the breakfast experience was really poor.

The only feedback is regarding breakfast. We had an early train back and the breakfast lacked variety of healthy options. My husband and I are not keen on eggs made from liquid formula and there was no alternative. Disappointed for what we paid.

Whilst the location is good, staff are friendly and rooms are dog friendly, we were really disappointed with the lack of housekeeping. This is the second time that this has happened at this hotel. Three night stay, additional £15 per night cleaning fee for the dog, but no cleaning of the room. Had to ask for clean towels etc. Really poor.

Despite having air conditioning and it basically telling you if your hot open the windows the room was melting hot! Called reception to ask if it could be cooler and was told not to worry they will go and look at it… melting hot all night no sleep. Really would wonder what it like in the summer as we got zero sleep 💤.

My only main complaint is the air conditioning is either maximum Cold or Maximum Hot depending on the time of year with no in between. Normally you can open the window to cool the room but the handle to my window had been removed (presumably to stop access to the lobby roof area) meaning the room was akin to a crematorium. Would recommend if you're attending gigs in Glasgow (or if you fancy a free in room sauna )
