Front Desk was rude at times. I was not allowed guests after midnight. I've never been to a hotel where guests were not allowed, especially when there were parties in other rooms next to mine. I was told I'd be charged if I had company after midnight.

Breakfast was ok, but hard to find. If your visiting for the first time you probably want to eat at your hotel and not walk around tulum looking for another hotel that you are supposed to have your breakfast at.

Room and location is nice, that's about it but there are far better options. I would not recommend this hotel if you're a tourist.

A nightmare… avoid !!!

The attitude of the two girls at the reception of this hotel extremely disappointed me. When I arrived I wanted to go to the bathroom and they sent me to the 3rd floor and the elevator didn't even work. To finally open a WC available a few steps away in reception. Also, on the second day I had a problem with one of their very used bikes…..And they tried to make it look like it was me who broke the bike….I noticed an attitude negative towards them, instead of trying to solve the problem. They practically accused me that I was the one who broke the bike! the room is old and there were women's black hairs on the floor… the TV doesn't work well… A nightmare! avoid!!!

Broken bathroom tap, construction on the hotel side makes a terrible noise. Full of mold throughout the hotel and inside the rooms there are some areas with mold. The location is great for anyone interested in going to the cenotes. Tulum does not have public beaches so if you want to go to the beach it is better to choose a hotel by the sea.

I stayed in Hotel Blanco Tulum for my bithday and I had an amazing time!!
Hotel was clean, the room had AC and was right the way I wanted it.
The staff was really nice and accomodating. They made a very nice surprise for me on my day and they added a very personal touch.
The bartender, Lucas, made very good drinks ant the pool was very relaxing.
As a solo woman traveler I felt safe and it's a very important aspect of my trip.
I struggled a little with communicating with the staff since I am not fluent in spanish.

Locación buena, sin embargo tomar MUY en cuenta que el hotel está junto a un bar/restaurante y todas las noches son super ruidosas. Frente al local hay un supermercado y varios lugares de comida para visitar.

Es necesario rentar ATV, scooter o auto para conocer las zonas.

The staff was so nice! they made my stay enjoyable. I traveled with the worst people to tulum and the staff here made me feel so welcome. The food was so good too and the drinks had me not caring how much I was getting burned in the rooftop pool hahaha. Only thing is I wish the pool closed later. I felt so safe here and the security guard was also so nice! I’ll be back!

Disappointing, look somewhere else.

This stay was really disappointing, for the location, cleanliness, and staff. First, the pictures (especially those of the pool area), make you think of a much wider and peaceful place than it actually is. Secondly, the bed sheets in the room had stains, the towel I was given for the swimming pool also had stain, and the towels in the room had stains as well! Moreover, only one of the three girls I spoke to at the reception could speak a decent English. One of them, in the morning, seemed like she still had to fully get up: I told her that I would like to get and pay for breakfast, and she took 1/2 minutes without saying anything nor looking at me, to then show me on her phone a Google translation saying \"Breakfast is not included in your stay\", and I had to improvise Spanish to let her understand I was willing to pay to add it. Last but not least, I knew my checkout was at 12pm. Since no one knocked at my door, I was still in the room at 12:15, obviously ready to leave. I got a reminder call from reception, and I went there immediately to check out. There, the girl, (in Spanish!) informed me that I would have had to pay 200 pesos for a late check out, which of course I did not accepted and she then said it was fine. Overall the stay was disappointing and the staff I met unprepared.

Wasn’t the greatest place in the world but definitely not upset with my choice to stay here. Clean, friendly/helpful staff, the bar & there staff were great as well. Lot of construction going on on the street but not the hotels fault. I wouldn’t say walkable but in a convenient location from the downtown activities & not too far from the beach. Plenty of taxis when you step out the hotel. Plenty of bike rental places. So overall easy to get around Tulum from this location. You won’t be mad about this one… oh and pool on roof not big but still very cool

The property needs to be upgraded.It’s not sanitized nowhere in the hotel.I got tickets to get drinks by the pool every time I went there no bartender was their and the pool was murky and dirty. I had problems with my room being dirty and a lot of mosquitoes.I complained they did change my room for one night.The sheets was dirty the receptionist was not very helpful that night.Seems she had an attitude but the next morning we had an excursion which we had to leave our bags for the new room they changed me to.I did come home to my stuff in a cleaner room and decorated for my birthday.The only thing about the new room was ants.I did appreciate the birthday decoration being done and the rest of the staff was way more nicer and helpful that I came in contact with for the rest of my stay.Overall the hotel needs more updating and to be more sanitized and cleaned throughout the day.

Having stayed here before I liked the standard spacious room, equipped with plenty of storage room. Everything had its place and tucked into closet space so it wasn’t in anyone’s way. A/C was a life saver. Oh but what six months difference does. Construction stared at around 7 am went until 4:30 pm and loud! The room TV didn’t work have the time and neither did the wifi. We called maintenance but every time we tried they told us he had gone home for the day, this was about 4,5 pm. Not a real priority for them to send someone up first thing in the morning to fix what we had requested. We had multiple times we’d be lucky if we got two large clean towels, even when they were noticeably dirty. This time around Hotel Blanco was subpar.

This property doesn’t have an ice machine. Elevator was broken. Door lock broken. Screen door broken. Roof top pool was dirty. Bathroom smelled like a dirty sewer. The front desk girls are young and clueless to things. The manager wasn’t helpful with any complaints. Bed was very hard felt like sleeping on bricks. Not a good experience.

Hotel Blanco is absolutely a great place if your in and out not some place you go if you like to sleep in or like to snuggle is bed. The beds are extremely hard, and there was construction. I know construction is not there fault but we were right across from it and waking up at 7am on vacation not pleasant. There is absolutely no parking on the property so you have to park across the street at the grocery store. Which can be nerve wrecking as the front desk staff mentioned it may be towed. But the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is relatively new. We couldn't check in early and the front desk girl was vey nice and left our loggage in the front desk. But when we went to the room, the shover and sink was plug. took care . However the secon asistant at the front desk was outside with firends, was very rude and quiet francky horrible person. Overall, if I can fined anothe hotel for the same price I do it.

They did have construction at the hotel nextdoor and they share common walls. Construction starts at 7am so we had to move rooms to the opposite side of the hotel. Mariza at the front was amazing and so moved us immediately, she took great care of us all week, what a great group of people.

Being woken up at 8am from jackhammers and sledge hammers is not very pleasant while on vacation! The property has massive Cindy happening around it and it is unbearable. No parking on site. Must park in a supermarket across the street and cross a busy highway. There are no wash rags on-site. We checked out a day earlier and went to a resort. Never again

Checking was disappointing. the young lady in the front did not explain how breakfast worked (since i paid for breakfast with me reservation). the waiter who helped me didn't even bother asking if i was a guest at the hotel. apparently guest who included breakfast in there stay had a different menu for breakfast. so they wanted to charge me for giving me food from the wrong menu. they told me that every morning i had to check in with front desk to get my free breakfast voucher. the next day i did as they said and the lady there said my stayed did not include breakfast. i told her i had reserved a presidential room and on my reservation said breakfast included. she made me wait until she \"researched it\". the following day i didnt even bother i paid to eat breakfast somewhere else. the experience was horrible. The staff need better training and actually act like they appreciate there customers. the room was nice and spacious. that is the only good thing about this place. there is no parking available, so they tell you to park across the street in the shopping center parking lot. your car is sort of safe there. if you're not worried of getting it towed or breaking into. i do not recommend this location. good location and nice rooms, but the staff needs better training. i did not feel welcome at all on my vacation. they didn't even tell me about the WIFI i had to search all over the room for it and the code. the signal was bad i skipped it and used my own mobile hotspot.

Staff was extremely helpful. I’ve got nothing to complain about except for the fact that towels are given a bit humid as well as the sheets. The cleansing staff doesn’t dry them well so I had to sleep with sheets and dry myself with towels that smelled like humidity. Other than that, I loved the hotel. I loved the vibe of it and the kind of people that work there.

Pros: This hotel is close to the main street where you will find restaurants and more. The facilities are very nice which make for a luxurious feeling stay. The staff are very friendly. There is wifi, but it is spotty.

Cons: Apon arrival there was a lizard in our room, to which the staff said \"well youre in mexico\". I understand Im in mexico and have no problem with critters.. I just would prefer not to sleep with them, which I feel is reasonable. This made me very uncomfortable as the lizard disappeared between a crack in the wall with the possibility to emerge again at any point.

When I asked for my bed linens to be changed I was brought one flat sheet (no blanket, no top sheet, no pillow cases) and was told they dont have extras. So you mean to tell me a hotel doesnt have extra sheets? This is concerning and leads me to believe they do not change the bed linen between guests.

Each day my partner and I requested beach towels and would bring them back at the end of the day. One day the staff said we couldn't get more towels because we already had 4, which was not true because we returned our towels every day. I would be careful to make sure the staff marks off when you return the beach towels, otherwise they will try to charge you for them.

El hotel está muy bien situado, cerca del centro de Tulum y a unos 20 min en bici de la playa pública. El hotel es nuevo y limpio, con cama grande y confortable. Tiene un bar junto a la recepción y la música está hasta las 11:00 pm. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta en caso de querer descanso absoluto. Hay también unas obras cerca, pero no estuvieron activas durante mi estancia.

I really loved how clean and cost in proximity to attractions the hotel was. I was able to switch my room to a larger room mid-stay, with no complications. I was basically on top of the lobby. The music didn't give me from a good night's rest either. At the price I paid, I could've and would've paid double if necessary. I plan to return.

Great Location and place to disconnect!

Check-in process was nice and easy, was in my room in 10-15 mins once I arrived. The room was big, can fit 4 people comfortably. Wifi went in and out but not a big issue since I had gone down to disconnect and relax. If you wanted peace and quiet, this isn't the place as the music from below is loud and there is early morning construction. Not an issue for me but might be for others.

I wouldn't recommend anyone staying at this place for at least another year,big construction next door, noise started from 6:45 am , drilling, hammering , building another hotel I guess.
Internet is very bad ,tv doesn't work , bathroom door lock was broken, new hotel,nice property but employees don't know how to deal with customers,some customer skills needed for sure (we worked in the same industry for 22 years )
We just mentioned upon check out all the issues , never asked for money back,no one cared , we were thinking to stay 2 weeks but luckily booked 1 night to see if we like it and I am glad we did that !!!

TERRIBLE TV NOT WORKING MAJOR CONSTRUCTION ALL DAY

Hotel looks nice. Unfortunately when we arrived they put us in someone else’s room with chips food etc. still in there but we were confused because the bed was made. At least they moved us to another room which had trash on balcony. HUGE LOUD CONSTRUCTION right next-door building new hotel. You could not hear yourself think at all during the daytime with jackhammers etc. Noise carried straight through due to open design. No refund or apology. The CABLE TV DID NOT WORK THE ENTIRE TIME. They said the whole area was down but when we changed hotels a few blocks away the TVs there worked just fine. So they lied to us! We had to watch YouTube videos for entertainment which we tried to stay out of the hotel as much as possible due to the construction. Also the POWER WENT OUT for a few hours and there was NO RUNNING WATER for that time either. Apparently this happens often! It was early evening and getting dark when it came on but in the heat of the day or at night this would have been a disaster. And no refund of any kind or apology. Will not return! We pretty much had to plan our entire time outside of this place to avoid all of the noise and problems.

Bad storm in Tulum (Oct 04th, 2020)

When i arrived in the middle of a bad storm for my check in at the hotel with no water and no electricity in town, Laura from the front was kind as well as the other front desk agent lady (sorry i do not remember her name) and explained to me about the whole situation and gave me the option to check for another place to stay. With very bad and dangerous weather out there i decided to stay and i am very glad that i did, few hours later the power and water came back and i had a very nice stay, my room was very comfortable!

Very clean, nice rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very courteous. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Unfortunately the design with balcony on the internal courtyard leads to a lot of noise when thoughtless guests come in and out talking loudly and slamming doors even late at night.
The internet connection is also frustrating because it comes and goes making very difficult to use.

The problem started when we asked for extra towels. We checked in the night before, but we didn’t need our room cleaned the next morning. So Jessica at the front desk brought us towels and said that we needed to let them clean the room because they don’t give out clean ones. She asked for our used towels back in order to give us new towels. 2 minutes later she called the room and said there is makeup on the towels and that we would be charged if housekeeping can’t clean them. These are basic white towels. Nothing fancy. One of them was literally unraveling at a seam. Fast forward two days. We go to check out and she calls housekeeping and tells us they couldn’t clean the towels. This makes me wonder how they’re even cleaning the towels in the first place. Makeup is not difficult to remove. And we can’t be the only people in the world to get makeup on towels. Then she says we have to pay 400 pesos (20 usd). For two ratty towels? Ridiculous. There’s no way those towels cost more than a few of dollars. But this isn’t what bothered me the most. So then I asked how much the towels are each. She said 200 and 200 (10 each). I told her that didnt make sense that a big towel is 10 and a small face towel is 10. We then had to remind her that we gave her one big and one small towel. Not 2 big. So then she said ok then I have to charge you 15. The whole thing was disrespectful and brought the class of the hotel down. I would have asked to speak to a manager but we had a bus to catch.

Property is very nice! The stuff is very friendly,, however it lucks fines , no extra pillows, the sheets smell and everything closed after 9 pm! They were obsessed about checking us to see if we stole any items from the room at our departure. We needed to go and left. They wanted us to wait, the room is nice but bare !!
However they were very attentive and almost felt bad for doing this !!

We only spent one night here. It was clean and nice but pretty far away from the main town. There was no place for us to get clean water to refill our water bottles, just tiny plastic bottles in the room, so not exactly eco friendly.

+ brand new hotel with clean, minimal rooms
+ good location: across from a grocery store (Chedraui), on the way to the beach & close to town
+ friendly and helpful staff
+ small but nice rooftop
+ fast wifi
+ prompt service when dealing with maintenance issue

- walls are VERY thin - can hear people talking above/ beside you, hear housekeeping cleaning (radios), hairdryer next door etc. Suggest providing earplugs for guests
- mattress was incredibly hard, never slept comfortably
- no coffee provided to make use of machine in room (small personal detail)

Hôtel je pense en pleine rénovation. L.équipement n’est pas optimal. Il y a un frigo, mais pas de micro-ondes, pas de boîte de mouchoirs, Il faut réclamer le fer à repasser. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans un autre établissement pas très loin mais ça reste une surprise. Petit déjeuner très succinct’ américain, continental ou mexicain. Le jus et les fruits sont payant, les toasts sont comptés ainsi que la quantité de beurre. Le personnel est agréable, les chambres sont faites tous les jours, les serviettes sont changées tous les jours. La piscine est vieillotte, mais l’ambiance est agréable avec le bar et la barmaid des serviettes de bain sont à disposition.
