The property was like a very upmarket backpackers with high quality rooms, beds and bathrooms but no facilities in the room like fridges, tea, coffee. You really needed to go to the reception for most things. It was fine but not really comfortable to relax. Good if you plan on being out if the room at all times

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonably priced and was tasty, and the hotel was easy enough to find. Parking was quite difficult to find, but there is a paid parking garage not too far away. Plenty of food options nearby and easily walkable to old town and the lake.

Great hotel, horrible beds

The hotel was nice, clean, and in a decent location! Just a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town and Le Lac (the lake). The staff was always friendly and helpful.

My only complaint were the beds and pillows. My partner and I both did not sleep well the entire stay due to how uncomfortable the bed was. We both experienced back and hip pain during our stay. The lack of sleep hindered our trip as we did not get up as early as we liked due to being tired. We don’t mind a firm bed, but this was another level. I have stayed at many Marriotts and have never experienced this level of discomfort. I recommend this hotel if you are young and/or can sleep anywhere. Otherwise, I would find a place with comfier beds.

Good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Within 15 minutes walking distance from the old town with all the restaurants and shops. Unfortunately came in on a very hot time of the year and the air condition in the room wasn’t working well. They just apologized, but couldn’t really do anything about it. My one night stay was not very pleasant for that one reason in particular. I found the breakfast to be quite plentiful with a lot of options.

The room was clean, staff were really helpful and polite. Food and drink prices were not too bad.
Air conditioning was an issue, the hotel says it is air-conditioned,which is one of the main reasons I booked it, however what they do not say is that it does not get switched on till mid May. Unfortunately this led to 3 nights of bad sleep as it was hot.

Id say an average hotel for alot of money. It was about a 6 to 8 min walk to the train station. They had a water leak later that night and we had no hot water that really sucked. The the beds are pretty hard. The room for the toilet was pretty tight too get into.

Room was in excellent condition. We didn’t use the restaurant, it was close to the centre. Unfortunately we received an email the day before arrival informing us there was works going on which meant the car park wasn’t available, which was one of the reasons we booked this particular hotel. There was a car park 200 yards down the road that was cheaper to park in than the one they recommended.

Never stay here. Honestly, this is the worst hotel. It was under construction, and they did not warn us beforehand, and it smelled so badly. We complained to management, and they said sorry nothing they can do. If I could give it negatives stars I would 1 is too high. They were so rude and like take it or leave it. One receptionist even rolled her eyes at me. I can't believe how disrespectful they were. The shrugged shoulders and the blow off were so unappreciated.

The area is amazing just never coming back to this shifty hotel. Also, the bad lighting in the room and basic TV only. The bathroom wad dirty too. Just an overall bad experience. 👎

Comfortable and clean beds, needs more work

The hotel lobby and exterior is under construction. It was close to the train station, quick walk but not so nice area. It was about a 10+ minute walk to old town. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Liked the large bathroom/lobby area but terrible lighting for getting ready. Weird gigantic tv between sofa area and bed so you couldn’t see tv unless on the couch. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

The staff are nice. The room is clean. The hotel is located close to the bus stop which is good for a customer with big luggages. However, it’s quite a walk to go to the center. At night, I don’t feel comfortable walking alone to/from center. It’s maybe just me.

Cons: Guests can smoke on the balconies and the smoke gets into your room through the ventilation. Also no umbrella offered for guests if raining.

The property is located at 12min walk from the center, not extremely walkable but it's easier to park, quite hqrd in the centre.

We liked this hotel very much. Easy walk to the train or bus station. Easy walk to centre ville and the lake. Wonderful grocery store two doors down. It was clean and modern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. It was close to the road, but surprisingly very quiet.

A reasonably short walk from the train station, and a friendly welcome on arrival. Not fancy, but it had all we needed - and in well kept condition. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. Enjoyed the quite extensive breakfast buffet.

Annecy is a beautiful place to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This hotel is super well located and easy to access from the train and bus stations. There are numerous nearby restaurants and shops and the city is easily walkable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we received a free upgrade upon arrival. The spa is affordable, clean and quiet, as is the rest of the hotel. I'm travelling with a child, so it's important that the area around the hotel is safe and well suited to visiting families. I found it to be both.

Finally, it was a great breakfast with lots of choice that was well worth the extra cost. The hotel also has an easily accessible restaurant, great little workout room, convenient library and common meeting areas.

Delighted with our recent stay at Best Western International Hotel, Annecy. Friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely restaurant where we enjoyed late dinner and breakfast, and probably the best shower we have had all trip. We parked outside to unload our luggage and check in and then moved the car to the multi-storey carpark across the road for the duration of our trip. Grateful for the free night parking offer, a lovely gesture. We will definitely stay here when we return to Annecy.

This a very standard hotel and therefore did provide value for its price tag. Lots of street noise because of single glazing. Description on website very unclear as to what was included: I was told breakfast wasn’t but it was (bonus), it mentioned a free hot tub but spa facilities were additional to the price paid. No fridge in the room. It would have been helpful if staff in the introductory email could have warned me about the Fete du Lac taking place that day as I had spend 2hrs finding parking and walking to the hotel - a really bad start to this stay

The wifi didn’t work at all (not even slightly). The gym wasn’t open, and the area around this is full of people doing drugs and who seem out of their minds. We asked for housekeeping to come because we had put a request in at 10:45am for it and at 5:30pm they had not done the room — they told us there was no housekeeping anymore. Just bad service and no amenities were functioning, so the rate was way too high for what we got.

Very good (excellent even) manager and assistant, not so the rest of the staff. Having just arrived from Switzerland, en route back to Paris, the staffing attitude needs to improve. One of the first pillars of SERVICE is to not only listen, but try and (re)solve any questions and needs of the very varied clienteles, without having to talk to the manager or the assistant! While in the end we had a “happy ending” to most but not all of our issues during a few days and nights, despite COVID-era excuses or reasons, not a great impression was left after leaving this hotel (even if not compared with the neighboring Swiss counterparts.

The staff at this hotel are what really set it apart. They are all very much engaged and it's plainly obvious that they care very deeply about your satisfaction. This is true about the staff on all shifts. I've stayed in hotels where the day staff is great, but the night staff is slightly lacking. That is not the case here. We had a situation where we needed a doctor and Debora at the front desk went above and beyond to locate one for us. Just spectacular service.

As for our room, it was clean and very nicely decorated. The mini-fridge had a few items that were all complimentary. The hotel has a great spa, but unfortunately all of the convenient times were booked. Make sure you book it early!

Overall, my family and I loved it. Our only regret was not staying there longer.

Was very disappointing, we paid for a Jr. suite and both rooms were very small 1 room double bed and 1 room double sofa bed. The parking is self parking not attached to the hotel. 1 Euro an hour from 9am to 7pm. The showers did not drain well. We have stayed in many Best Western Hotels and this is not up to that standard at all. There was more room to walk in the halls than in the room. The beds are not big enough for men who are over 6ft. The lounge was wonderful the server was very attentive. Annecy is so beautiful, we so enjoyed the Christmas market and walking the cobblestone streets. The front desk staff could use additional training they did not program our room keys for the two days we booked and paid for. They need to be more welcoming and not so curt about the parking. The website should say self parking at a cost not connected to hotel.

Goede, wel kleine kamer. Uitstekend bed. Parkeermogelijkheid voor hotel, maar beperkt in aantal. Welkomstdrankje. Goede ligging, wandelafstand toeristisch centrum.
Minpuntje is dat waarborg van 50 euro per kamer wordt ingehouden op kredietkaart, die je pas na circa een week terugkrijgt, ook al geven ze die direct na verblijf vrij: zou in plaats van afhalen met preautorisatie moeten gaan, die men gewoon vernietigt.

La décoration générale de l'hotel et des chambres est agréable. Un peu surpris cependant par le lavabo de la salle de bains qui est en fait dans le couloir, face à la salle de bains.
Une boisson offerte de Bienvenue fort appréciée !
Parking municipal Chevenne à env 100 m de l'hotel avec un tarif très accessible.
Personnel jeune et accueillant.
Buffet Petit Déjeuner complet.
Bémol : boitier réglage chauffe serviettes SdB peu accessible face à la douche ! et pas réussi à couper la clim/chauffage pour la nuit.

Un hôtel qui m’a surprise par sa belle ambiance, toute l’équipe est adorable, professionnelle, et en restant disponible.
Il y a une ambiance de joie et de bien-être dans cet hôtel qui fait vraiment du bien.
La chambre est bien équipée, propre, avec un wi-fi efficace.
Il ne manquait rien.
Peut-être un petit bémol sur la taille des rangements dans la salle de bain. Et c’est la seule chose qu’il y aurait à critiquer.
L’emplacement de l’hôtel est parfait pour pouvoir garer la voiture et tout faire à pied.
Je n’ai rien à redire et je reviendrai assurément.
