Lovely spacious room with stunning views from balcony. Great buffet breakfast. Quiet area with few restaurants nearby - enjoyed the Italian few mins away Pizzeria Pompei and Matilda’s coffee shop a big hit with us all too.
Hotel’s rooftop terrace is great but sadly the bar was closed as was the family pool during our visit. All staff were very friendly and polite.
Had a late flight home so being able to pay to keep room until 4 pm was a bonus.
Highly recommend the hotel if you want to be in a quieter area of the Costa del Sol (easy access by bus or uber to Benalmadena or Fuengirola)

We had a beautiful view out of our room and the lounge and lobby areas have wonderful views! The beach below is easy to access. The staff is helpful and accommodating, other than one person who checked us in who took 3x as long as the person next to us to check us in and was not clear, etc. The person next to him checked in three families during the time it took for us to check in a basic room.

The food for breakfast is not good. The pastries, fruit, overall selection is poor. It is not just how it is prepared, it is the overall quality of the food. We live in spain part time and know the quality of food that is available at any of the grocery stores. This food seems to be from some kind of supplier at a discount and is similar to that on an inexpensive cruise ship. If you care about the quality and taste of food, the breakfast can be skipped. We also had pizza and fries from the lounge, similar lack of taste and overprocessed feel to the food.

The sheets are pretty scratchy, the towels are very scratchy, as well as the toilet paper. It seems they are resting on the fact that it is right on the ocean and has great views, rather than providing any sort of care or luxury.

The pool was closed and the jacuzzi was not heated. Neither were accessible despite being March. Many people enjoy the jacuzzi and a cold plunge even in the winter and this was our understanding from the hotels.com website, so that was disappointing. Overall, we will not stay here again.

LOVELY PLACE TO STAY!
We stayed here for the first time and it was excellent! We enjoyed our visit so much that we even extended our stay. The only downside was that the family pool was closed.

We would love to come back on another occasion. A special thank you to the reception staff for their very kind and pleasant approach.
The breakfast with the sea view was fantastic as well - so many fresh choices, absolutely brilliant!

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Its decor is beautiful, it’s clean and fresh. The layout is wonderful because there are several places to sit, drink and enjoy the stunning views. The servers are friendly and helpful- Patricia at the lobby bar was especially great. The all-inclusive is incredible value for money- the food is overall really good (a few dishes are too salty, but other than that there’s so much choice and tasty options). I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing wrong with the hotel BUT not the right fit for us. The hotel is good for a stay-put vacation. There was a convention checking in at the same time we arrived and only 2 guys working the front desk. I felt sorry for the two guys on the desk. There is not a lot of dining or entertainment around the hotel. We were surprised to have to pay €19 per day for parking; there is free street parking we should have used.

We had such a relaxing and fantastic time at this hotel. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the lady that cleaned our room each day was amazing. The room was very comfortable and the views of the bay were gorgeous. The facilities and restaurants were spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was plentiful. The beach was wonderful and felt like it was a private beach due to its close proximately to the hotel, although we did have to pay for the sun beds and parasols each day as these were not managed by the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this hotel again.

We purchased Delex room, but they sold it to someone for better price and they put us in disability room. We had a bathroom like in the hospital on rehab place for disabled people. Was so upset, they lied to us saying this is the room you paid for. No AC, elevator not working most of the time we have to walked stairs to 11 Th floor. Elevator feet’s 3 people, so slow 🙈, you have to wait for 10 min , then it’s comes- it’s full and you wait again…. You give up and walk upstairs with no AC…. It’s horrible place, don’t go there, please find something better. No stores or shopping around this hotel, you have to get taxi to go eat or shop. Food very bad, every day same breakfast . In Europe people don’t know how to cook good food. In 7 days I had one dish what actually was good. You have to pay for drinks, they very expensive too. You have to pay even for water. I regret for my choice with this hotel. And remember, water temperature is very cold for swimming. Outside was 95 degrees but water never gets worm in this sea , be ready spend so much money for flight tickets and just to get sweat on the beach, you run into the water and it’s so cold that you run back to the beach. We made a bad choice with this vocation, nothing been pleasant .

Good sized room and very clean, staff very friendly, decent food, modern hotel and quite classy in some areas. The pool area for adults it’s too small for such a big hotel, the “ families pool “ is unbearably crowded. Also the smell from the “ BBQ boat “ is annoying if the wind is blowing towards the pool area. And they BBQ with wood, not with any sustainable vegetable coal or such less harmful product. The outside area facing the beach isn’t well kept. In a nutshell, many good things, lesser bad things. A 4 stars hotel mostly catering for the all inclusive holidays companies. Please be aware that the beach does not belong to the hotel. Sunbeds cost 7 euros per day per bed. And it’s quite small and quite crowded with locals enjoying the sunny Benalmádena.

Not much happening in the area, but it’s perfect for a calm, peaceful, and quiet getaway for a couple of days. Fantastic rooftop bar, and the beach outside isn’t exactly 'private', but it’s not busy either, so it was still enjoyable. I would have preferred if sunbeds and umbrellas were offered for free, since we paid a lady for some.

Check in slow and check out even slower as we needed a Factura which was a major challenge. Receptionist at check in and checl out was the same and she did not fully understand the system. Alas. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Benalma Hotel Costa del Sol, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hospitality was warm, professional, and consistent throughout our entire stay.

Location: The hotel boasts a fantastic location right on the seafront, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. It's perfectly situated — peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to Benalmádena’s vibrant marina and charming old town for a bit of exploration.

Was really disappointed that I was freezing cold all night & had no sleep. The bed had only a flimsy sheet, with no option of extra blanket or quilt! Finally went to reception to ask if a single sheet was normal as I’d been cold, but their reply was that they’d send a blanket to the room later, which was completely useless as I was checking out shorty after! Apart from that, the hotel was generally very nice, but for me, that’s no compensation for no sleep!

I didn’t like the fact that although you paid extra for all inclusive the cocktails were horrible pre-mix things rather than proper cocktails mixed by the waiters. Also many areas are not included in the all inclusive - the roof bar and the beach bar.
You could not regulate the air-con in either the gym or in your room. It was all centrally controlled and the temperature in the gym was far too hot.

This is my second stay at the Hotel. The standard of the hotel is exceptional. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is kept well maintained and cleaned. It’s peaceful and the views you wake up to by the sea are amazing. I would recommend this hotel and it’s not too far from the airport. I hope to make a third return one day as it’s the only hotel I would chose over and over. Highly recommend the resort. Thank you for allowing me too enjoy my trip once again.

I am a senior and found the lack of a rubber shower mat problematic. I had to step into a bathtub with no grab bars and although I didn’t slip, I was concerned I might

rubber bath mats are not expensive and I would recommend they be obtained. We did ask for one but were told to use towels.

We were severely underwhelmed by our stay to be honest. The room was just okay, nothing special. Not as clean as expected and the toiletry products provided were not great and broke me out when used. The rainfall shower didn’t work. We paid extra for a
Sea view room but from what we could see when we arrived every room had a view of the beach/ ocean so it felt sketchy. It was a very high floor with like the picture perfect views, we were on the 5th floor and could hear absolutely everything going on on the beach and anywhere outside our room below if our balcony door was even cracked. One of the restaurants was closed for the season but we weren’t told those dates at the time of booking. The spa was also closed but it’s not stated on the website at all. The food at the beachside restaurant was our least favorite in Benalmádena that we’d had. It was also not nearly as centrally located as advertised, many things were quite a ways away in comparison to other more centrally located hotels. The staff as less than enthusiastic toward us- we weren’t all inclusive and felt we waited longer for service and weren’t treated as nicely as those who were all inclusive. The website wasn’t clear about what was offered with all inclusive and the food there wasn’t worth that cost. The hotel itself in all common areas was extremely hot and the air conditioning's having a locked minimum of 19 c was not very comfortable (especially for someone who experiences hot flashes).

Hotel was very nice, food was good - little disappointed about the all inclusive, it’s really only for the pool bar, lobby bar and buffet. You need to stay 7 nights to get a meal at the other restaurant and the sky bar isn’t included.

Pools were ok, adult pool is pretty much full shape and like you’re in a small enclosure

And the elevators…lobby is on floor 8 and beach is on floor 1, 3 elevators get you there but they are small and stop everywhere because people push buttons and then give up waiting - very inefficient

Beautiful property, severely let down by the lifts! The lifts, 4 very small, working off two diffierny call system's covering a huge hotel, which clearly is not sufficient. Multiple complaints heard from other guests on a regular basis.

The pools are a let down, as the adult pool is very overcrowded with too many beds in a small space. The pool is lovely but in need of a good clean as algae is all around the top of the pool. The other pool is like a butlins affair. Loud music all the time putting you off if you want to relax. Hence why the adult pool is overcrowded.

Otherwise the hotel is beautiful.

The website and advertising portray this as a nice hotel for adults. Not adults only but not screaming children everywhere. Every meal, in the bars, in the halls. Both pools are enclosed by metal fences which impede the view of the ocean. Plexi-glass would work and be more asthetic. We could not check in until after 4:00. The hotel sent us a bottle of the house sparkling wine and an apology. The food was better than most all inclusives but they did run out of some popular dishes. The staff was very nice, professional and courteous.

We did not like the fact that the hotel have no facilities on the beach you have to pay for the bed and parasol because it does not belong to the hotel , it’s not private it’s open for the public . the shower coming from the beach does not work , so you have to cross the restaurant go all the way up to the swimming pool just to have a shower , they will charge you 1 euro to change the beach towel which I found ridiculous, the steam room and sauna are on the basement you can only have access from the first floor it’s not convenient at all .

I had a fantastic stay and I could not find a fault with this hotel. There was a culture of politeness and friendliness amongst the staff, from the front desk to the cleaners and all the others. They were so welcoming. The hotel was so clean and there was a of things to do on the premises like live music in the evenings, the food and the bars and restaurants. There was also direct access to the beach. The views were stunning. I was there with my daughter and we loved it and I would come again and again. I highly recommend it.

We stayed in June 2024. The hotel was busy but not full. Hotel was lovely, clean and has very friendly staff. Great food choices and drinks are available all day. Facilities in the rooms are adequate although hairdryer is basic. They have a good range of toiletries, shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and body lotion all available and plentiful. However I was glad I took my own shampoo and conditioner, as it’s better quality.
I would not recommend for the physically disabled though, as the pool is not easily accessible by wheelchair, there is a lift to the ground floor where a pool is but you have to negotiate a steep ramp. The other pools are a short walk from hotel and on our experience well run and we didn’t have to fight for a bed as they don’t allow anyone into the pool areas before 10 am and there’s no tolerance of bed hogging. A few bars and pool bars are all inclusive but some are not and there’s only one main restaurant which is all inclusive. The other restaurants are paying. The near by village has a couple of nice restaurants and the train and buses/taxis are all excellent and close by. The main resort of Benalmádena harbour/old town is a €12-15 taxi ride away. You can get to Benalmádena,Fuengirola and Marbs by train cheaply, which the station is excellent and close to hotel. Nightly entertainment is very good but on Friday through to Sunday, it’s held in the paying bars, so not free. All in all a great stay.

Really nice hotel, ticked all the boxes for what was needed. Not the largest selection of food but it was all cooked well and presented well. The restaurant staff were sometimes a bit slow in coming to take your drinks orders, sometimes we went without. So convenient being right on the beach front and the view was amazing. Can not comment on the bar too much as we only went twice and we did not watch the entertainment. I would definitely go back

It´s a nice hotel with excellent sea views, this hotel is like a ship cruise, small rooms, noisy rooms many people around, big average breakfast buffet nothing special.
This is a 3 start hotel.

Lovely Hôtel fabulous staff, food very repetitious for a 4 star hotel so ate out a few times, , one restaurant was closed so that was a little disappointing, overall a pleasant stay .

lovely sea views, big hotel

Hotel is indeed in a fantastic location, with view straight out to sea. It is quite far from any amenities except for a couple of local restaurants

The bed was comfortable.

Even though there is a smart TV, the Netflix did not work which was disappointing.

Absolutely shocked at how good this hotel was ,,seemed to be in an upmarket area of this resort ,, the hotel
Facilities and staff were far far better then I was expecting ,,I went bed and breakfast as I wanted to dine out in
recommended restaurants ,, but the breakfast again was outstanding ,, when we returned on an evening ,we decided to have a drinks at the bar where there was entertainment in full flow ,again I wasn’t expecting this really really good fun , we also went to the hotel beach which also had a fab bar on the beach ,although this hotel has 2 pools and sun decks,, because of the closeness of the beach to the hotel,, we preferred to do this ,all in all incredible value for money definitely worth a visit .

Wonderful hotel

Wonderful two nights at this fabulous hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. View amazing over the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast plentiful, everything you could ask for with bright and cheerful staff. Can’t wait to book our stay again.

Fantastic Stay

What a beautiful hotel , lovely location, fantastic buffet food in terms of quality and choice, great service throughout the hotel . Myself and friends stayed for 3 nights on an all-inclusive package and I highly recommend this option .
The jacuzziz on the roof were all nice and warm .

Great hotel with fantastic views

This is our second visit. The staff are excellent and the room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The staff responded quickly to any request we made.

We opted for half board and the food was very good with plenty of variety to choose from.

The main swimming pool was closed at this time so we tended to stay around the bar area by the smaller pool. Both the sea and the swimming pool were very cold but it was still possible to have a quick dip.

The property is absolutely astonishing. Being right on the water with the mountains behind us was a dream come true. The staff provided top notch customer service and I never encountered anyone who was unwilling to help or offer tourist tips! The food in the all-inclusive buffet was way above expectations and we very much appreciated that the menu rotated daily. We had a small issue with the air conditioning after checking in, and it was resolved the same morning. The hotel and surrounding area is so clean it’s shocking. The only disappointing aspects we faced was that the fitness/sauna rooms were closed on our last day; we only had one dining option even though we paid for all-inclusive and expected both restaurants to be open; the hot tubs on the rooftop were colder than the pools; and the big pool was closed one day which severely limited space to lay out as chairs on the beach had to be purchased. All in all, we will definitely come back, hopefully when everything is fully functioning! Thank you to the staff and everyone who played a part in making this trip unforgettable!

Hotel was in a lovely quiet location. All rooms overlooked the sea and had beautiful sunsets.
Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and everything was piping hot. Lovely rooftop Bali beds and cool tubs as opposed to hot tubs! Pools were freezing too!
