2/10 Experience. Would NOT stay here ever again. Stayed here with my son for his basketball tournament. Bugs in the ice machine. Blood spot on the floor. Hair and dirt all over the walls in the bathroom. The sheets were disgusting and the room smelled like straight up dirty gym socks. Pool was dirty. Just really wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

This property is “pet friendly” which means that there was a dog down the hall that barked all afternoon and into the late evening. Even after repeated calls to the front desk. And there was several sports teams with young players staying at the hotel when we were. They were very loud in the halls late into the evening. The room was comfortable and the room darkening shades were a plus. I can’t say that the bathroom area was super clean though.

The woman who checked us in was capable but I wouldn’t say she was friendly. I would give this hotel a 2.5 out of 5 stars for the simple reason that the noise level was ridiculous on our floor.

I stayed at this property to be close to a work training site. The property and room was clean and staff were friendly. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room.

I reported two issues with the bathroom and it was never resolved during my stay by staff. I had to find housekeeper to obtain a new bottle of lotion to hang on the bathroom as the existing one was watery.

In the hotel pictures on the website, it shows an area to order hot food and beverages. When I arrived, I was informed that the kitchen shut down a year ago. Very misleading. And the pantry area with items for purchase was only about 20% stocked. Please note that there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance so please be prepared to stock up on any snacks and other items for your room.

The staff was extremely outstanding from the moment we got there till the time we left. Robin the manager was super friendly and the gentleman (he was from Nigeria)

To be honest they were so hospitable and when I saw them with other guests they were the same!!! I know where I will stay again if I ever come back

The hotel is not well kept in terms of cleaning. The room had a strong mold smell. Cleaning left much to be desired with hair on the bed and the bathroom was not really clean. Overall I was not satisfied with my stay.

1) The day we arrived the toiled in the room was sprayed with fecal matter. Not sure how housekeeping missed that. I have a photo of this.

2) The room is moldy. The smell of mold was intense. This is the second time I stay at this hotel and the smell was present in both rooms.

3) The shower was clogged the first day. We had maintainance come in and handle it. 2 days later the shower was clogged again. It took 2 days to get maintainance back. The day before our checkout we wake up and the shower is filled with white/yellow water. Front desk provided us with an adjacent room to shower in.

4) At check in, when we got into the room, we noticed the fire detector was covered with a bag. We let it be and didn’t think much of it. After checking out, the hotel charged us a $250 smoking fee when we never smoked in the room. They said that they have a photo of the plastic bag around the smoke detector and that’s enough evidence. The front desk person called me a liar when I instisted that the bag was there when we checked in and we didn’t smoke in the room.

I have stayed at several Sonesta’s before. This one ruins my opinion of this brand, although I had never had issues at other properties owned by Sonesta before.

Overall, terrible experience.

I have stayed at this place multiple times with no issues but this time my stay wasn't great. We have always been on the 1st floor and the rooms were decent and clean. This time I was put on the 3rd floor and the room was awful. The couch had stains, the room obviously hasn't been dusted in a while, there was a dead bug in the shower, the shower didn't drain well and the balcony door was taped with black tape and had to be opened using a lot of force. It was so loud, there was little kids running up and down the hallway and knocking on doors after 10. It was just a lot going on. Also, the trash outdoors is always running over and upon us leaving this morning someone decided to leave trash right in the middle of the hotel when you enter through the side doors. Maybe because the trash can was overflowing but that's not an excuse.
With that being said I gave it 3 stars based on previous stays and the fact that the bed is comfy and clean and they had hot water. They also have a nice sitting area outside. I never go to breakfast though so I can't rate that.

They should really have breakfast. The tub had a slow drain so when I showered I was standing in water. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the balcony too. Although I don’t believe it actually locked because I couldn’t figure out how to lock it once I opened it. I used the fitness room and the pool, loved them both. We had a great stay and would stay again.

I only stayed for 1 night. Had young kids with me tried to go to the pool way over crowded my 2 year old almost got jumped on in the water. Tried to play Cornhole 1 of the bags was ripped so that was a bust the TV cut out all night. Accidentally left some items but when called they said there wasn't anything left behind. So I'm out there. 1 guy was checking in but when he went to his room it was already occupied. The only nice things was the beds super comfy. I probably won't go back!!

For what we paid, it was acceptable but I won’t stay again. The room I selected wasn’t available because housekeeping didn’t show, which was a slight problem but not huge. The room smelled absolutely awful. The carpet needs desperately cleaned. There were still hairs on the floor in the bathroom. There’s a pool but no whirlpool as promised. I’ll definitely plan my next stay closer to my daughter’s campus, the drive, the experience and the lack of food choices negate the savings on the hotel. The blonde woman at the desk is a peach, love her.

The staff were very kind and clear. The room was not very clean. It was obvious the floors hadn’t been swept/vacuumed, the shower walls had not been cleaned (hair and soap visible), the microwave had many finger prints visible, the top sheet was stained and had holes in it, the fitted sheet was fine but felt old and pilled, the tv never had signal, and the phone in the room did not work. I didn’t use any amenities so can’t speak to those.

We stayed during a hail storm that disabled the satellite TV. It also toppled a tree that hit a car in the parking lot. None of that was the fault of the hotel or the staff, but it resulted in the morning staff being overwhelmed by the number of people who needed assistance. There was a single desk worker who was being pulled in multiple directions trying to serve everyone. He was stressed out, but remained professional and friendly in spite of it all.

The property is well kept, clean, and comfortable. The signage is unique and fun. Instead of just saying \"Elevator,\" the sign read something like, \"Need a little lift?\" Unexpected and fun! Bs ause of its location off of the main road, the rooms were very quiet. The beds were firm and comfortable.

If i return to the area, I'll be booking again.

This place is a good price for one night, but if you're staying for awhile then I would spend more money to stay somewhere else. The room was not cleaned well: crumbs on the night stand, sticky stain on the TV console, floor not vacuumed well, pretty sure there were dust mites in the room because I started to feel itchy. Night stand outlet barely held my plug, toilet roll holder coming out of the wall. The walls are extremely thin so bring ear plugs. I could hear 90% of my neighbor's conversations and music.

We did not use the pool or business services so I can't talk about those. At our entrance the outside trash can was full and bags on the ground. Inside the door were more bags of trash. Like every mid range hotel, the elevator and hallways stunk of marijuana. The website said there was breakfast for purchase and there was a big sign in the elvator talking about being able to get pastries and sandwiches at 'the commons\" a restaurant area by the entrance. Well, they offer nothing but coffee so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. The heater was wacky and wax either freezing or too hot. It was jard to regulate. Beds were comfy and room was clean, but we probably won't stay here again.

This hotel is a good value. I was just passing through Kansas City, but it had more than I expected for the price. The staff were great, the area around it is ok, but be on the lookout after dark. One bigger dog was loose from a house chasing rodents, I’m a dog lover, but I’m not sure how it would react to hotel guests, even though it’s not their territory.

Let's start with staff. The staff is amazing hands down.

Cleanliness: that was the downfall for this hotel. Stains in the carpet in hallways, few on the room furniture.

When I checked in, my original room had chest hair, long female hair on the the bed and pillow. That prompted me to go to the front desk and ask for room service to come service the room. I was informed they had left for the day but would switch me rooms without me asking. They apologized mutiple times and corrected the issue quickly.

Our car was broken into during the night and many valuable things were stolen. The rooms were down exceptionally long halls, very inaccessable. Our room was dirty - the shower soap holders slimy, tub stained, towels stained. There were human hairs hanging off the bedside lamp shade. KY jelly from another guest in the bedside drawer. Breakfast was promised but it was coffee, all else had to be purchased. Never will stay in a Sonesta again. Would not recommend staying here. Staff was unhelpful and gave us wrong directions to our room in the long halls. Also unhelful when we discovered our car with the broken window and thefts in the morning.

I booked a room with a king size bed. On the morning of my reservation (valentines day)to verify that i had a king size bed and that there was a microwave in my room. Upon ch3ckin i was told rhat i would have to take a double queen room and that the hotel was full and there was nothing that could be done to help me out. In my room none out the guest outlet worked which meant we could not charge phones watches or anything else. And we found toe nail clippngs all over the floor in our room

This was a very clean and comfortable room. Its an older hotel, but it seems to have newly renovated rooms. I usually stay in very pricey hotels, but I really was inpressed especially for what I paid. I had the king size room and paid about $78. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, and private. Spacious room with great climate control. My relative had a funeral across the street so I planned it fairly well in order to walk over and attend the service on time . My flight didn’t arrive until about midnight the and staff was Wonderful and welcoming, I arrived a little after 1 am and I was worried they might turn me away; that was not the case at all. They assured me that as long as I arrived prior to 2am I’d be alright Thank you all so much. I will return, as I unfortunately have other unwell relatives in the area. Thank you so kindly

Unable to answer these questions as we didnt stay, but somehow our card says otherwise. Showed up to the hotel close to 5pm when check in was 4pm. With a 2 year old close to bedtime after a long day just to be told \"we meant to call you, but we dont have the room available.\" We purposly picked a room with a private sleeping area. Was told Expedia pushed it through and it was on their end. Was offered another room, but didn't fit our needs. Room was non-refundable and when asked for a refund was told you have to contact Expedia. Asked if the other room would be discounted which was also told no. I am 3 hours away from home with a 2 year old and left the property to try to hurry and find something else. I did ask if we can't find something if we could come back and she said yes. Immediately contacted expedia and talked to an agent via chat to cancel. They stated they apologized, but hotel didnt answer and they didnt have an agent available and would contact me soon. Found another last minute hotel that qas more expensive but were kind enough to take us last minute. Been trying to deal with this today and had to call 3 times. As of 2pm today they stated they havent heard back from hotel in regards to a refund. Called again and was told that the hotel was denying my refund as I \"no showed.\" Not sure how that is possible considering we didnt even have the room we booked available. Waiting to see how this is handled, but very disappointed on both ends.

When we arrived for check in no person was up front. Someone had to grab him from somewhere. The properties trash was over flowing and trash all over the place near entrance doors to our room. We love this hotel usually but definitely need to do better or the hotel will continue to look run down. Very disappointed in this stay.
