The room was clean, however the washroom shower didn't have warm/hot water. A staff did come promptly upon notice, but we only got warm/hot water in the washroom sink.

Also, the breakfast promised failed to provide quality food and though there's buffet trays visibly set up, only a la carte food was served, also the service of food was very slow.

I would admit that it was convenient to have access to commercial places like Greenbelt and Glorietta, but the hotel is already OLD; as it reeks of a \"moldy\" air at the lobby, and the hallways stench like a garbage bin...just too sad, coz we we've enjoyed the very first time in opened (and everything was BRAND NEW). Management may have been complacent that they never conducted Quality Assurance from the internal customers, or took reviews like this seriously.
The staff managed to perform over and above what was expected, which may be the only \"saving grace\" of this hotel.

The hotel is near the malls, just a few minutes walk. Like the room - modern, clean, comfortable bed and good AC. The only downside was the small bathroom and deep step out of the bathtub. No handrail to hold on. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good on our first day, but not on the second day.

It’s better than the rest of budget hotels in makati. My room was okay however, the floor was dirty, seems like it was clean and also, sheets are old and look dirty, spotted a few stains. Service is very good, I was allowed to checked-in 2 hrs before the check in time. The staffs are all helpful and did a good service.

I have read lots of negative review about the hotel before booking. The only reason that I have book is in this hotel is its nearby the malls that my son and I wanted to visit. And to my surprise the negativism reviews are not true! Staff are nice, kind and helpful. The building as they said as dilapidated is outrageous . Yes, there are obstructions here and there as they are upgrading their facilities but it is tolerable.. hence, I am very satisfied with our stay.. my son intact, told me if he gets to travel again alone, he would like to stay there..

Be careful at this hotel. They have policies not explained to guests upon check in and then say we have to charge you according to “our policy” you never knew about or is displayed. Breakfast is a joke. Staff is just following owners/management directions so no one on site has the ability to make any concession or make the issue right. Make sure everything works in the room correctly as the mentality is a you broke, you pay attitude even if it was broken before by another guest. Use extreme caution as the little cheaper price for a room will come at a bigger cost with all their hidden policies. Beware!

My husband and I are regularly staying at Crown Regency Hotel almost yearly... Staff are friendly and they always attend to our needs..good quality service.. The location is handy and convenient just a walking distance to the malls , shops and eatery places.. Price is affordable... WIFI availability is great !

The hotel that was provided by hotels.com option was pathetic at 7500 rate. I could have booked Ascott at that rate. The hotel looked shabby and below standard. I am not happy with the rate that was shown.

Makati Crown Regency is not a 4-star hotel, but the staff provide 4-star service. Very friendly, and every time I needed something, like my water to be warm or in-room safe to be fixed, they fixed it within 30 minutes. Hotel itself is older and rooms are okay, but TV has lots of cable channels and AC and WiFi that works. Location is 1 block away from Ayala Center malls, movie theaters, restaurants. Easy to get taxis or Grab service. Red Light district is about 1 km if you're interested in that type of thing. Free breakfast buffet differs each morning and offered a variety of Filipino-style dishes and fruit. Overall, this hotel was a good fit for me, coz of the price, location, and staff. Again, it's not 4-star quality, but it was clean, comfortable, and met my needs.

The air-conditioning in the first room I was assigned was not working so I have to transfer to another room. The new room looks bigger. The safety deposit is not working but I did not call to their attention since my luggage has a safety lock. Breakfast is not that great but it's ok. Overall stay is ok.

The hotel is very accessible to Mercury drug, SM & Glorietta. We had a problem with the Airconditioning and the shower fixture. The room wasn't cold enough. The shower fixture was defective.

- Rooms are extremely dirty
- Housekeeping only changes the pillow covers because they are so understaffed
- Poor Wifi
- Filters on Airconditioning unit have never been cleaned and are black
- The bathrooms are riddled with mould and the shower heads have a
build up
- Staff openly chatting with their phones on social media and 'relaxing' in the lobby

This is by far one of the poorly run establishments in Makati.
It may of once been good but it more like a seedy motel.

Please retrain your staff and reconsider the hotel manager.

Markati Crown Regency was a top of the line hotel.... back in the day. The staff made it a nice stay, doing everything they could to make travelers comfortable despite the ageing property. Internet connection was pretty stable, bathroom was clean, and there was hot water. A buffet breakfast is included that was decent but the menus were outdated- a number of items advertised were not available, this goes as well for the menu of personal services.

Stay here if you're looking for a decent room at a good price, near the airport but not at the airport.

Don't stay here if you're looking for a top of the line international hotel.

We left our umbrella when we check out, leaving our big luggages with the Hotel because we are traveling to the province. When we came back and retrieve our luggages the people at the front desk did not find that umbrella and they claim nobody had seen it. It is a black and white umbrella cost around Php 995.00. We check out around 4:00 am. I wish somebody there is honest enough to keep it. I wond the umbrella in a golf tournament. Everything's great except for spagetti bolognese

We love it! The frontdesk was Great, he was very informative and friendly. We booked a standard room, but it was fullt booked when we arrived, so we got upgraded to superior with 2 double beds, for no charge at all! the breakfast was Good but the food on ala carte (ex spagetti bolognese) the sauce was too sweet and its not the usual red sauce, it was dark brown, almost seems and tasted like adobo. Adobonese! Bleh! I really didn't liked it, but because i was super hungry, i had no choice but to fill my empty stomach. Since They didn't have so much choices of food, they should have perfected it. I would recommend the chef to watch a \"how to cook a spagetti bolognese\" video on youtube. The location was superb! Just a walking distance to the big Malls.

Hotel Reservation Issues

I book Crown Regency Hotel for my niece and her Singaporean husband. Their flight got delayed and so I called the hotel to make sure that they hold their 2-night stay reservation. I could hardly believe that the Hotel Staff told me over the phone that the hotel did not have any reservation for them. I replied that I booked through Expedia.com. I was told that their Reservation Office was closed and that my niece had to pay the hotel and she will
Be reimbursed if they find out that she had a legitimate or valid reservation. I decided to call Expedia and the Customer Service Agent of Expedia quickly resolved the matter by calling the hotel directly. Thank you Expedia.

Location for a great price.

For half the price of the Holiday Inn hotel, this hotel was excellent price in the same location. 15 min walk to the greenbelt shopping and food areas makes it an excellent location. Breakfast is free but very small on offer to eat. No worries about missing the breakfast with all the food places you need only 10 and 15mins walk away. Beds are good, TV package is good, aircon is good but work out a good temperature for yourself for night time sleeping with high cooling a little noisy. Bathroom door hits the toilet which will make you laugh first time to see that happen. Bathroom was clean a little dated with old shower heads that only have one setting. You get your free soaps, shampoo, body wash and toothbrushes. Staff are good. You leave a 2000php deposit when booking in that you get back once booking out. Its a good place for the price with the location you are getting .

The worse 3 star hotel on earth

In this hotel standard room has bathtub but superior only stand shower.
Paying for a superior Room, when arrived at room the toilet door only can open about 12\" wide which only able for a kid to go in. Request to change to from superior room to standard room, hotel only can do changes but you will still paying for superior price.
Interior room is as old as my childhood room in Kampong.
TV channel got about 200 but only few channels able to watch, you can always see shower during watching a show.

Stay away from this hotel

The only thing going for the hotel is their location. The first room we got was at the top floor. Lobby, elevator and hallways seemed nice and clean. The room, however was not clean. There are at least 10 flies in the bathroom. I contacted the front desk and I was told that they will send someone to clean it up. We left the hotel and went to the mall to eat. When we came back I asked the front desk if they were able to take care of the problem. I was informed that the problem has been taken care of. We went back to the room and the flies are still in the bathroom. I then called the front desk and asked to get moved to another room and for them to check the room first prior to moving us to make sure it's clean. We moved to the room right below the first room. At first it seemed ok, but it turned sour soon after. We saw some flies in the bathroom and bedroom. Not as many as the first room. I have come to the conclusion that the hotel probably has a fly infestation in their vent system. The flies are not the only problem. The bathroom is filthy, there's mold in the shower and the shower leaks to the bottom of the sink. We requested for extra towels and bath mats. I was told that I'd have to pay extra if I wanted extra towels and bath mats even after I told them that their shower leaks. They eventually gave in and gave me replacement towels and mats.

I would only recommend this hotel to someone I hate. I would never stay here again even if it's free. I think the hotel is far from a 4 star hotel and should be at 2 stars max. They may have been a 4 star hotel once but it's far from that now.

A lovely hotel with exceptional service!

I travel to the Philippines every year to accompany my 86 years old mom. This hotel perfectly suits my requirement. It's a small hotel, the service is very personalised you can ask for anything and they can deliver it to you promptly. All the staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs specially my old mother. When we arrived I asked for a bucket and tabo as mom does not like to shower, in minutes was delivered to our room. The food is delicious especially the sinigang and pansit.

A very itchy night

Staff were decent and polite and helpful. However the rooms are too small for the price. It would all be good but there were bedbugs and we had to spend the whole night scratching and we literally saw one of the mites crawling on the bed.

They were fully booked and a room change was not possible. We were covered in hives the next day. Staff did apologize, but it was too late. We often stay at Crown regrncy hotels in CEBu, its great there, but this Makati one needs to get renovated
