Everything was amazing except the room was freezing. The first night we got in very late and we kept turning the Arctic AC to a warmer temp and it didn't improve. We both wore coats but got sick from the cold; I had to see a doctor the next day. Engineering came and the AC does not respond to the thermostat in the hotel. They gave us blankets and a heater which worked well. The breakfast buffet is great, hotel exquisite, staff amazing. The price is low. Great location in Makati. I love Raffles. But if you are cold ask for help right away. Additionally, the entire hotel is over air conditioned in our opinion.

Spectacular hotel, worth the extra money compared to other 5 star properties in the city. Great that à la carte breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails are included (including the famous Raffles Singapore Sling). Room is incredibly spacious and service is spot on.

Excellent decor and beautiful room. Upgraded me as I asked to make it special as we were traveling with my daughter. Service was extraordinary and amazing. People were friendly. I will definitely come back.
Things to improve on detail maintenance on the bathroom shower door does not align and paint on ceiling. Buffett selections could be better and quality.
Overall it was an Amazing experience.

A wonderful stay following a week of diving in slightly more reduced accommodation. From the moment we arrived we were brilliantly looked after with afternoon tea then taken up to our gorgeous room. A slight miscommunication was quickly resolved when we discovered the mattress I'd requested for our 6'5 18 year old son had been misinterpeted as a child's cot but that was whisked away and we were left to enjoy both the lovely pool and then brilliant happy hour at the Long Bar. A super stay.

I will never stay anywhere else in Manila. The hotel and service are impeccable. They anticipated and met our every need. I had a stomach problem when checking in and they sent a nurse to my room and a concierge to get electrolytes from a convenience store. We stayed at the beginning and end of our Philippines trip and they remembered my son and I, and greeted us so warmly. It feels so welcoming and supportive in their care.

Great Stay At Raffles Makati!

Raffles Makati was amazing! The staff were all so friendly, kind, and helpful. The suite was very nice & we had a great stay! Thank you to concierge Jullian for a welcoming registration, Dustin for helping with our luggage, Jessica for a wonderful Afternoon Tea, and butler Sebastian for being so attentive to ensure our stay was exceptional! Will definitely go back to Raffles Makati next time we’re in Manila :)

Great hotel, service is excellent, the Mereio Restaurant was a great French restaurant . The only thing with the raffles hotel were the amenities is not the best choice, I have a soaker tub but no bubble soap, the magnifying mirror has no light, so putting on makeup up is so dark, I have to open the curtain to apply my makeup in front of the window and just glad that I brought my own mirror!

Top notch service; needs are attended to right away; team goes above & beyond to find a solution to Problems & challenges. Hotel needs to upgrade some in room audio technology to bring it up to standards, considering this is an elite hotel. Minor issue-door access to rooms, most of the time is NOT shut close, leaving it vulnerable for anybody to enter ( it is beside the French restaurant), and may be a potential security issue since this floor is not a limited access floor bec. Raffles Residences Makati is an exceptional venue top to bottom. It’s the type of place that makes you feel genuine sadness that the room you are staying in is not your actual residence. The first floor with lobby area features a top notch lounge incredibly attentive staff great food and drinks the bar with world class live music internationally renown mixologists the buffet the best selection of gourmet food I have ever encountered ( better than the Wynn Las Vegas). The rooms.. from the guest bathroom in the entrance to the original art throughout the one bedroom apartment the furnishings of the Lopez concept living room dining room to en-suite bedroom huge walk in closet and bathroom. With a pillow MENU!! to boot. Unreal. Lol.

I love this property! It's a class of its own. The first room we stayed at was a 2-bedroom residential. They have a great full-service kitchen, laundry (washer and dryer), dishwasher and even have a helper's quarter. The layout and space is great and amenities are excellent. The location is unbeatable and the service is impeccable. It truly is first class and I see myself staying in this property every time we visit Manila.

Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with good views from the 20th floor of the Residence. Staff are very attentive and professional. The hotel is very near all the shopping centres in Makati, where there are many places to eat. The breakfast service in the morning was very pleasant as we went early in the morning but it got busier after 9 am. Our journey back to the airport was quick via a Grab car booked by the concierge. We will stay in this hotel again.

This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. The staff are some of the most wonderful, helpful and accommodating group of people I have ever met.

The hotel restaurants are phenomenal. The gym is excellent and the hotel location is excellent.

I had a junior suite and it was like a studio apartment.

I will definitely stay here again and again and again.

we go to Makati every year. we have stayed in all the major hotels. this place is near the top of the list. great location, great service, nice pool. the only thing is... when I I booked the room for 2, when we got there, they said the breakfast was only included for one.... just don't understand that.

Got one room suite at the residents side which is really good fully equipped with the kitchen and washing machine
It it really nice and spacious
If you are one of the people who likes cooking you might use this
Be careful the there is a different type of suite which is double the price of this the second type called executive and presidential suites
The staff are very welcoming and so much helpful
The breakfast is at the spectrum restaurant which is shared with the connecting Fairmont hotel
The pool at the 9 floor is really super
The gym is located at 4 th floor sharing with the Fairmont

Coming from California...Wifi for conducting business is important and this hotel has that. The rooms are bigger then other hotels. Concierge was helpful with making local calls for us. Complimentary Afternoon tea with 3 layer plates of appetizers was so filling, our dinner was postponed later and complimentary cocktails 6-8 was just right from a stressful day.

Great, luxurious facilities and restaurants. Extremely happy with suite and amenities. Wish pool was heated - it was very cold water. Service was great except for some minor issues with room safe not working (after getting fixed & replaced), concierge not giving directions to a restaurant when explicitly asked for it and pool side restaurant did not cut up pizza. Awesome location next to Landmark & Glorietta. Would definitely stay again.

Between several other 5-star hotels I've stayed at during my vacation, Raffles was the best. The service is superior from check in to check out. Additionally, I modified my room upon check in and they were able to accommodate me with a second bed as well as a two hour late check out. The staff remembered me, which felt sweet, and it was nice to hear \"welcome back, Mr. Papilla,\" and \"have a good day, Mr. Papilla\" every time I left or returned to the property. The butler service really made this hotel unique and it was lovely that he could show me around the room, provide a turn down service, and draw a nice, hot bath. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails were EXQUISITE services that really won me over and made me realize that the stay was worth it. The rooftop bar, Miura, crafted lovely cocktails with delicious bar snacks. The hotel's service is unrivaled, location can't be better, and the rooms are all suites. What makes this hotel 5-stars is the great staff that I will remember for a long time. I was unable to enjoy either swimming pools, but there was a fantastic all you can drink special going on that I would have loved to enjoy had I stayed longer. Maybe next time!

Excellent boutique hotel! The best in Makati!

Raffles Makati is a boutique hotel featuring 32 suites and is connected / part of the Fairmont Makati property. The staff and service at this hotel is exceptionally good! Everyone from the butlers, to the front desk staff, to hosts in the Writers Bar, always greet you with a friendly smile and address you by name. The hostesses at the Writers Bar remembered my tea and beverage preferences and were quick to offer me a cup of Earl Grey tea in the morning or a glass of Spicy Mango Chelada or Calamansi Lemonade in the evening. I was here on business and the staff truly made me feel at home. The Junior Suite I stayed in was tastefully styled with a touch of old-world classic charm with a modern touch. The room was laid out in such a way that it was easy to use the dining area and living room as a work / small meeting space as it was separated from the bedroom. Internet connectivity was top-notch and it was easy to connect remotely to my office.

I normally stay at another top-tier hotel very nearby but that particular property is a little old and has undergone some stingy cost-cutting measures by current management which has definitely detracted from its appeal which is why I decided to try Raffles. The difference is night and day. Usually when I travel for work I can't wait to leave and go home. But with such excellent staff at such a great, newer property, I was actually a little sad to leave Raffles.

Nice hotel, arrival could be improved

We stayed for one night at Raffles for our arrival in Manila. We had booked the hotel transfer car and were met at the airport in good time. Unfortunately the car did not have any water supplied for refreshment after our flight - slightly disappointing considering the cost of the vehicle.
Upon arrival we also felt we did not quite receive the greeting and attendance that we would have expected at the top rating hotel in Makati - we sort of made our own way in and to the reception without any formal greeting or guidance on our arrival. Again somewhat disappointing considering the cost of the suites.
The room itself was very well appointed and comfortable, and the butler service was very polite and helpful. The late checkout was also very nice to have.
The Writers Bar was very nice for food and cocktails as was the Long Bar.
A very good hotel, but the handling of arrivals could be improved, especially as the hotel knew we were coming in their own car.

it is not cheap hotel. I stayed fairmont hotel for 4times last year, so this time i try Raffles for my experience. In fact, I booked fairmont hotel first but the calendar of expedia was very difficult to see and I made wrong reservation one month after. Because of no cancellation system, I had a hard time with expedia and fairmont hotel so I made a reservation for Raffles.

Unlike fairmont hotel, they helped me a lot. Even if i had a hard time with get in a hotel they made some kinda arrangement for me. I do appreciate for that. It is located same as fairmont so very easy access to everywhere.

The room was excellent.
I got junior suite room. Clean and nice.
it comes with breakfast and tea time and night drink.
I tried breakfast 2times.
one was eggs benedict and the other one was the special breakfast.
eggs benedict was perfect. I would love to eat again.
their special breakfast was full of bread.
I do not think i am going to choose this breakfast again.
it was nice taste but almost too much of bread with french toast.

and tea time was nice.
scone was super. you should try.
but again full of bread makes you full easily so be careful to get late tea time.
you cannot eat dinner.

the Raffles has own pool beside fairmont hotel.
fairmont hotel located 4th floor and raffles pool is located 9th floor with key.
it is very private. Even if you feel lonely you can always go fairmont hotel pool as well.

overall i would love to stay this hotel when the price is not too much.

Started with arriving and them it have our booking, after insisting on a King Bed they upgraded s to a suite int the residence which was the only thing they did well! They did however charge me fir the full cost of the weekend on my credit card despite the fact I had paid while they were sorting it out.

The hotel was nice but the whole weekend the service was slow we enjoyed the cream tea and the Covktsils that were included in the booking but to wait 20-30 mins for a drink and food after ordering is ridiculous!

We were there to celebrate my partners birthday, which was on the Saturdsy and I made this very clear on the Friday during the messed up Checkin. The free birthday cake arrived Subflday Evening so like everything else was late!

My Second stay in a Raffles Hotel! It was supposed to be a special occasion but I left disappointed!

We stayed in Raffles for the weekend and its our first time in this hotel. The interior of the hotel is very well designed and the rooms are very spacious. The check-in was quick and the bed was comfortable but sadly thats the only good things about this hotel. For the price we paid for i don't think its worth it compared to other 5 star hotels we have stayed before. First of all the breakfast buffet is terrible. The two hotels (Fairmont and Raffles) is sharing the same breakfast buffet. The food is not of the quality of a 5 star even in the in-room dining. Secondly the pools are very small. We first went down to the 4th floor which I'm guessing in the Fairmont Hotel pool is small. It's crowded and there were no space for us to sun bath. Then we went to the 9th floor which is supposedly a private pool for Raffles but also crowded and is shared with the Raffles Residences. We ended up sitting on a couch and not able to swim. Third is that they have poor service. The staff usually talk among themselves instead of serving guests. And lastly, they had given us a fruit basket when we arrived which I thought was very thoughtful but after 2 hours they had called our room and said that they made a mistake about the fruit basket and wanted it back. We already opened the basket but they said its ok and they would want everything back. So I said ok and get it. I think for a 5 star hotel making a mistake like that and taking back basket even the fruits we started eating was very rude.

Beautiful modern rooms with an amazing makati view

My very first time to stay at this hotel.... I normally stay at ShangriLa but I wanted to try a newer hotel. It was the best decision ever!!! Rooms are very clean and beautiful. Staff are amazing and we have lots of freebies too. We have an afternoon tea from 3-5 pm then followed by cocktails from 6-9 pm. You do not have to go out of the hotel for more fun. every night for the turned down service you get free French macaroons in different favors what a treat!!! I do recommend this place 100%

Perfection

I'm travelling a lot and all over the world. I can't remember having been to a hotel, not even in Asia, with such excellent service and systematic focus on perfection in the customer experience. Only suggestion for improvement would be to invest in heated pools.

Best in Manila/Makati!

I have really enjoyed this hotel, the room was very beautiful with a lovely bathroom and I was surprised that the rate booked through hotels.com included, breakfast, high tea and evening cocktails! Everything was superb and the service was top notch.
The staff was very nice however every time we asked a question, we had different answers, so I believe continuous Training is key for such a hotel.
Makati is a nice area, with nice malls and restaurants and I'd recommend visitors to go to Intramuros, it is definitely worth a visit!
The pool on the 9th floor was quite full with kids, so we decided to go to the fairmont pool on the 4th floor which was bigger and quieter.
All in all, a great place to stay, will definitely go back if Im again in Manila.

Recent Raffles Makati experience.

Totally enjoyed our stay.Great location being at walking distance from Greenbelt mall, high end restaurants and bars, church,and other 5 star hotels.Top notch 5 star hotel as advertised.Junior suite was impecable.Great breakfast and afternoon tea time.Great staff who would go out of their way to help you out.Looking forward to staying at Raffles Makati again in Jan.

5star for cleanliness and location except

Except for the unsincere service of the butlers and front desk staff. I even caught one of the doorman laughing at me when he saw me carrying my heavy luggage . Too bad I love the hotel but I can stand the employees are very unprofessional

fantastic hotel!

We stayed for 3 nights. We thought our rate didn't include the high tea and evening drinks but it did! The service is fantastic and food and beverages are great! we had the high tea which is heaps for 2 people, we didn't finish it. evening drinks is unlimited and they give you complimentary nibblies! seriously for the price you pay it's value for money! also location is near shopping centers so easy to just drop your stuff off and go back out. We've found our base whenever we're in manila!

Nice but overpriced

Very Nice property, but overly expensive. Not sure it's worth the price. While seems fairly new, it shows signs of wear and tear.
The bed is incredibly comfortable.
