The staff was friendly and helpful. The town and beaches were amazing as usual. The location was great, being close to the beach and restaurants.
The bed was absolutely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever attempted to sleep on. The pillows we were originally given were even worse. We did ask for new pillows and were given some that were slightly better.
There was a very loud, obnoxious family staying in the rooms next to us. After two days of listening to them and hearing kids slam doors we told the staff and they did speak with them and things calmed down a bit.
If the beds didn’t feel like we were laying on plywood we could have given them 4 stars. Please, please,please invest is some new mattresses.

We had a wonderful stay at Corales Suites! The location is absolutely perfect — you can walk everywhere. Restaurants, shops, the beach, and the town square are all within walking distance, which made everything so easy and enjoyable.

The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. We especially loved having a full kitchen — it made mornings and late-night snacks simple and convenient. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully set up.

The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Everyone was kind and helpful. Daniel especially stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with a warm, welcoming attitude.

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place in the heart of town with fantastic service, Corales Suites is a great choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

When we checked in we found the toiletblocked and the room wasn't cleaned the following day. We had to remake the bed on the first night as the blanket was under the top sheet. The garden view, which we booked, turned out to be a view of the street. The shower need a new head as the shower water sprayed everywhere it wasn't supposed to.The shower door opened in front of the towel hook, making it impossible to exit the shower safely, as the floor was swimming in water.

The street view was enabled by one, yes ONE, lounger, two chairs and a table, all covered in white paint drips/spray. The outside had been recently painted but no drop cloths had been used.

The room was cleand and the bed made, once the young lady realised that we left a tip of 50 pesos everyday.

The front desk wanted 200 pesos each and didn't have change. We checked out at 8.55am, the reception was locked, so we left the keys in the wooden box (no door) and left.

I could go on but suffice it to say, do not stay there, we won't!!

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get something better. The kitchen is barely equipped, the A/C in our room hardly cooled, chlorine was added to the pool while we were about to get in, and you have to put a deposit on towels to use at the pool.

Wonderful location but room was not what we had hoped for. The picture on the hotel site was not what we got. The bed was very uncomfortable. The outside concrete patio had old table and chairs over looking street. Beach towels and hair dryer all needed deposits on it to use. Pool was nice and very close to a lovely beach club.

The pool always had a film. The reception acted like I was always bothering her. They charge you a fee for a beach or pool towels, and refund it when you leave. The bath towels looked dirty. The kitchen was filthy. The pictures that they show on Expedia or their website are when they first opened the place looks nothing like the pictures. Matter fact the patio and balcony were so dirty and the lounge chairs by the pool were filthy with stains When they showed us our room. There was a dirty pair of panties on our balcony. The room had no iron or hairdryer. That was another fee all around the place was just filthy.

The property is well located, it’s a walking dintace from the Main Street with bars and restaurants and only two block from the beach. Very convenient . The condition of the building is ok, the units are cozy but don’t expect luxury . The first room that we were given had a problem with the AC unit , so the staff offered to move to a different room, that’s was very nice from them.

The room was fine for the price, apart from water leaking in through the closed window and all over the floor when the garden was watered. Unfortunately they kept running out of water for showering and when there was water it was cold and the pressure was hopeless.The pool was nice - but closed for a day of our stay for maintenance. The staff seemed nice.

If you’re budget traveling this is a great place to stay in Puerto Morelos. The property is in a fantastic location next to the beach. The balcony of our apartment looked out over a beautiful building across the way and had a partial ocean view. We enjoyed that feature! The funky challenges: The kitchen has only the bare bones basics. We would have liked a cutting board, but where’s the adventure in that?! The bedroom has glass walls at the top so when the early riser in your party wakes up, they either need to fumble around in the dark or turn on the lights that inevitably illuminate the bedroom. We did appreciate the lamps in the living room. The AC is only in the bedroom, so our apartment got a little stuffy with the afternoon sun, but the ceiling fans kept it comfortable. We were very thankful to find a smart TV to tune into Netflix. This place is not for everyone with its quirks, but we really enjoyed our stay. I would book our second floor 4B room again.

Average hotel suitable if you need to book last minute loding and can't find much else in Puerto Morelos. Very bright bedroom - almost no curtains, plus hard mattress and pillows means you need to be exhausted (or drunk) to get a good nights sleep. TV streaming services don't work - it just spins. Lots of junk / storage piled up on backside of unit - views from bedroom and kitchen were old furniture, ladders, and trash bags. No direct beach access. Won't be back.

The suites were lovely the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was not stocked very much. I’m glad we hadn’t planned on cooking!
The bathroom was fine, but they could supply more towels.
We were traveling as a group, so I had reserved 3 rooms. One of the rooms didn’t have drinking water.
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely book again.

Corales suites is perfectly located 1 row back from the beach and a 5 minute walk into the plaza. Chedraui grocery store is 6-7 minute walk and there are numerous restaurants on the same street as the hotel. Very safe to walk around and many people walk at night. Now for the cons-reception area only open 9 am-5pm. After hours you must go around the corner to check in. There are 2 building and they are more like apartments. We were in 5B 1 bedroom but it was more like a studio with a glass wall around the bed area as they only want to have AC for the sleeping area and no AC for kitchen/living room. Kitchen has nothing except basic cookware. No salt/pepper, oil. They provide bottled water and dish soap. They only provide 1 knife and it was really dull. Asked to have a sharper knife at reception and it wasn’t provided. Fridge stopped working after a couple of days barely keeping food cold and ice cube trays wouldn’t freeze. They finally replaced it once it died. Bathroom is pretty bad with a HORRIBLE a shower head which sprays out everywhere except in a stream so can’t wash your hair. We told reception that the shower head is bad and plugged due to calcium buildup and Ivan at reception just shrugged. Very small sink, no counter space. No daily cleaning or towels replaced unless you ask to have the room clean with a 24 hour notice. We had a very small view of the ocean on the balcony. Area is quiet. Bed had a mattress pad so it was ok. Would stay again if they fixed issues.

We loved staying at Corales Suites. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the ocean. The full kitchen was nice to save money dining out. Although we did a lot of that too. It was a short walk to many dining options. Corales was kept very clean and the staff was super. The wonderful beach was steps away. And the My Paradise Beach Club was near by. No complaints here.

BUT - property could use a giant face-lift. My biggest complaint is that the photos are NOT indicative how the hotel looks anymore. The living room furniture was worn out, so were the kitchen appliances (everything did work, though). No rhyme or reason to any of the decor - just a bunch of random pieces of furniture and a couple of art prints. Shower head spewed water all over the place. Guest services were very limited, nobody there after 5. Had to go downstairs to get new bath towels, which is when I also found out that you have to request housekeeping to clean your room. No lamp in the bedroom area, had to take the one lamp out of the living room area. Pool area could be better by adding more plants and cleaning up some. Just a little work and this place could be really cute, but as of right now, it's pretty dated. They also need a guest book that explains things like housekeeping, how to get more bath towels, etc. No hair dryer in the room, but I saw in another review that you can get one from the desk with a deposit. Overpriced for Mexico, but not terribly. More of a 90 dollar a night place, IMO.
Everyone that worked there was nice, and housekeeping did a great job once we figured out we had to request cleaning.
All of this being said, I'd probably stay there again if there was nothing else available (better) in that specific spot - location really couldn't be beat and the staff was friendly.

We had total loss of water 3 or 4 times, once we were able to contact the staff they were able to get it up and running. Kitchen was poorly equipped for anyone who planned on cooking. I must admit that I basically just made do with what was there. If I had asked the staff for more, like a pot with a lid to make rice,they probably would have helped.

My friends and I came to Puerto Morelos for a 40th Birthday and the Corales Suites was perfect for the 4 of us. Amazing location behind the beach and Paradise Beach club and a quick walk to town for dinner, drinks and great music. The property itself was clean, but a bit dated. Beach towels and hairdryer require a deposit for use. I'd definitely stay again based on location, price & great staff.

For $200 a day you would expected the entire room would be air-conditioning not just the bedroom.. It is near the ocean, but definitely not oceanfront. Overall a nice experience. The property is not “beachfront” as described, but only a block away. I’d say my main complaint would be the couches. Two dirty, uncomfortable mismatched love seats. They looked like they were picked up off the side of the road. Otherwise, everything was clean, location was nice. Parking was limited inside the gates, but available on the street out front.

Corales was a perfect place for us! It was clean, comfortable, quiet, within walking distance to many restaurants and town square. Collectivo picks up out front to go to the Colonial. They offer beach towels and beach chairs. Beach is across a small street. Paradise Beach club is directly behind and they offer loungers - etc for 500 pesos consumption. Danny at the front desk is SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful. This is not the place for you if you are looking for luxury. Already booked for March!

We had a great stay here. Our only issue was the quality of locks on the inside doors. There was no inside deadbolt that you could lock. And the outer door locked from the inside and was a bit hard to open. And if your partner locked you in you are unable to get out. It should have a deadbolt that operates from inside.

My family of 4 stayed here for 2 days. Excellent location, easy walking distance to good restaurants, bars, beaches, main Puerto Morales square. Safe area. Snorkeling right off the beach near Don Ernestos. The check in guy very generously let us stash all our bags in the small office since we'd arrived early and when we later checked in our bags were already in our room. Awesome. We had the large 2 bedroom close to the nice, small pool. AC worked well in both bedrooms. But the whole place needs some TLC. We didn’t have hot water the entire stay, water pressure was poor and some stuff was broken. Signs in the bathroom asked to put toilet paper in the trash can not flush in toilet. King size bed was rock hard as a plywood sheet. So I cant give it much for overall comfort. We've been to other areas of Mexico and none of this is unexpected or shocking but I can't say we had a comfortable stay.

The staff was very welcoming and they stored our luggage while we waited to check in as we came in early.
The hotel is very close to the beach where there is a wonderful beach club down the path behind hotel. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was in the area.
Upon check in we found our apartment as photos were posted. Very cozy and we enjoyed our stay.

Very simple and non- descript. Tremendously comfortable - the front desk personnel: I forgot his name- he has a pony tail: is the best!!!! It was as if we were the only guest there. The property is well-maintained....and they are serious about the comfortability of their guest. This was our second time there...and will return next year. Corales Suites was great for a low key beach stay. The hotel was clean and had your basics needs. The AC worked well and our room had a nice view. Check in was easy and Danny at reception was really friendly and gave us great local recommendations.

The water in the shower didn’t drain well at night as other have said but it didn’t flood or anything so who cares?

The town was about a 10 minute walk, super close to the beach and we loved the Paradise Beach Bar right behind the hotel.

Amazing stay, extremely happy. Danny was awesome and helpful during our early check-in. AC worked very well! There was a minor leak on day 2 with the AC that was fixed super quick. Comfortable bed, great view, full kitchen with everything we needed. Lots of windows and a walkout balcony. Would recommend the stay. Shower had great pressure. No elevators, but we liked the top floor anyway.

Pleasantly surprised with the size! Loved that it had 3 separate rooms! Service was very friendly and accommodating. Close to town and the beach is almost at the back door. I would recommend and stay again.

Pros: Excellent location with easy access to the beach

Excellent water pressure in the bathrooms

Danny from the front desk was helpful.

Cons: No blackout curtains so we had security light’s from the bar across the street shining in the window all night and nothing to block out the sun in the morning. If you’re sensitive to light, be prepared to wake up with the sun!

No place to sit as a group, only the wooden chairs in the kitchen. If we wanted to spend time together, we had to sit on the beds.

Queen mattresses were comfortable. The mattresses for the king size bed were super thin and we could feel every spring

Room looked nothing like the pictures. The balcony on the ocean side could fit one chair.

Nice big balcony overlooking the street side, but it wasn’t covered so you could really only use it in the mornings before it got too hot

Dishes not properly washed. We pulled out coffee cups with with coffee rings the first day and dirty utensils

Our table decorations consisted of two dead roses

The only mirrors are in the bathrooms

No amenities other than the pool but you need a 200 peso deposit for each beach towel you request. No bike rentals, videos or board games.

There are no phones except from desk and cell reception is poor.

Front desk closes at 5:00pm

Suite was lovely, and had all the amenities for cooking and a really wonderful view. Danny at front reception was very helpful and friendly when we asked questions. I would suggest they have a written hand-out for all guests that explains how things work. for example, you need 24 hours notice to request a cleaning, how to access supplies, where to bring the garbage, etc. That would be very helpful. we found out by talking to other guests how to do things. The property could use more regular cleaning in general areas, around the pool, etc. It was very laid back which is nice, but not same cleanliness standards we have experienced in other suites. When we did get the maid in we had to ask her to come back to do the deck and wipe down the windows so we could see the view as there was a sandstorm the night prior. We tipped well so that wasn't the issue. We would still return to the property as it's a lovely set up and location, and now we know how things work and would expect to do our own cleaning so would go out to buy what we would need.

Great spot in Puerto Morelos

This budget-friendly spot by the beach is very well-located for enjoying the restaurants and shops of Puerto Morelos. We didn't have a car but easily walked to everything we needed, and became regulars at both Eclipse Adventures and My Paradise Beach Club. It books like a hotel, but performs more like a condo. If you're planning to cook, you'll need to bring or buy everything down to salt and pepper, and a little creativity :) Great pool, resident iguanas, and A/C in the bedroom.

Check-in was slow and our room wasn't ready. The location is excellent with the beach basically half a block away. The rooms were fine but the shower heads really need to be soaked or replaced. They spray everywhere with no real pressure so it's hard to wash your hair. Parking was really convenient and inside the gated lot.

Short walk to the beach. Friendly staff. Clean pool with padded lounge chairs. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Many options for fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving in town.
No food or drinks (including coffee) are available at Corales Suites. There is a small refrigerator in the room, but no personal safe or microwave in the room. A hair dryer can be checked out at the office.

We have stayed here before and would stay again. However in the room a few of the electrical outlets were falling off. This made it sketchy to plug and unplug things.
My pet peeve about this place is that they almost never have beach chairs available. with just a short walk to the beach chair would be a no brainer. considering the rooms are not cheap allowing for a few chairs per room would seem reasonable to me. Staff are wonderful though and did their best to help out.

The property was quite clean, and the premises were nice. The main issue was that the pool kept having filter/pump issues and was closed twice, once for more than a day. Hopefully that is all resolved now, as the pool is an important amenity to this hotel. The beach access is very good and I really enjoyed the beach. The neighborhood is also great and walkable! Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Corales Suites. The room was big and airy with lots of windows, and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching the ocean. The wifi was good, the AC worked great and the kitchen had what we needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We were in a 3rd floor ocean view studio.
