Food was good. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We used the shuttle to get to the train station early morning. The shuttle was prompt.

The hotel needs to be updated.
Rugs, Shower, the room uses an electric heater. Otherwise no heat in the room.
It was ok for us for an overnight stay being close to the train station to go to Paris CDG airport.
Location was good.

Property was dismal and completely beyond reasonable, dark, dirty stained old hall carpet long past due for replacement. Room hadn't been maintained with chipped flooring around shower in bathroom and missing mouldings on room finishes. Just old and depressing.
Broken times for shuttle, only early morning or evening otherwise reserve which is not accessible!
Room was clean, no bugs.

Whilst the beds were comfortable and the linen clean the rest of the hotel is very run down. Plug sockets held in with stickytape in our room, carpets badly stained, bathrooms had mould.
Staff were helpful and nice but I wouldnt recommend this hotel unfortunately.

The shuttle was punctual but the van could have been better marked to make it easier to find at the airport.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the general condition of the hotel was very poor - the carpets and hallways were what one would expect to find in some flophouse and the towels were threadbare. Other than that, it was a good budget hotel.

My second stay during this trip in Lyon, I had a double room and the room was very well cleaned like the previous night but an air conditioner seemed broken ( I didn’t need it after all though ) and the room was close to a lift so was noisier than before. Some of front staff speak good English so it was easy to communicate. The shower is with bathtub and plenty of hot water but no amenities so bring your own shampoo if you need it.

I booked a twin room for one night and while the room itself was a bit tired and a lamp had no bulb, I felt it was cleaned well, and a air conditioner worked very very well it was a warm night so thanks for that! I had a 2pm train next day so the checkout time 12pm was a treat, overall it served my purpose perfectly, thanks a lot for this.

Twice emailed hotel to reserve a table for dinner on Saturday night, prior to my arrival. Never got the courtesy of a reply and upon arrival told restaurant closed at weekend's. Breakfast was poor and a waste of money. At 8.30am no meat or cheese available, had to ask. Toaster, but no bread to toast. Bowl for fruit or cereal was the size of a bowl for a baby. Breakfast selection was poor. Carpets in corridors on first floor filthy. I could go on but no point, nothing will change. Would recommend the Ibis opposite. Excellent meal.

Absolutely Disgusting – We Deserve a Full Refund

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The place was filthy — not just the room, but all the common areas as well. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition: dirty, smelly, and clearly not cleaned properly in a long time. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, making the room unbearable in the heat.

On top of all this, the staff was completely incompetent, unhelpful, and seemed totally indifferent to the state of the hotel and the complaints we raised. It was so bad that we didn’t even stay the night — we walked out and found another place to stay.

I am demanding a full refund, as this hotel did not provide even the minimum standards of cleanliness, comfort, or service. No one should have to deal with such conditions. Avoid this place at all costs.

Shuttle only runs at certain hours

Serviceable. Shuttle took us from the airport to the hotel, which was great. Shuttle only available at certain times of day, stops at 8:40 am, which was a couple of hours before our flight. The whole reason I booked this hotel was for the shuttle service, so that was irritating. 20 minute flat walk to airport well marked, but I would have liked to avoid it.

This hotel is close to Lyon airport with a great walking path to Terminal 1. It also has a good shuttle service. We used both. The lobby and restaurant areas looked fine. We did not try the food. We were given 2 vouchers for a hot beverage which we used in the morning. Staff were friendly. The hallway carpet on our floor (2) was heavily soiled to the point of being off putting. It smelled like it had been cleaned, so that was good. The room, and bed sheets were in good shape. Only one pillow per person, a negative for me. The bathroom was in okay shape with the exception of the stand around the sink area. It was deteriorated fiber board.

Staff is great but room is in dire need of renovations. Lots of large stains on hallway carpet, hallways look like a prison. Bathroom looks like a scene from Chernobyl with brown water stains on toilet and swollen/delaminated vanity/woodwork. Faucet sprays water outside of the sink. Bathroom should be completely be redone at this point.

I'm not sure why the Hotel Manager would tell me her name is Emilie when her name is Anaise. Also why she would offer my husband 700€ alcohol on the tab when they knew he was drunk and sick and a week later send me a bill asking me to pay 708.79€ for the drinks!. So apparently this hotel takes advantage of their clients by charging them after the fact?
The worst customer service! Please watch your bill closely!!

My husband was staying at the hotel 6 days and his mobile was lost in transit to the hotel.
Unfortunately the hotel rooms do not have a telephone. Each time I try to contact my husband they have to go up to the room to let him know that I am calling him.
Today the receptionist Florian, answered the telephone informed me that my husband just went up to the room to sleep. I asked him kindly to let him know that there is an emergency and to see if he could come to the phone. In less than 2 minutes Florian responded by telling me that my husband did not respond. He could not have taken the elevator to the second floor, walked the hallway, knocked on the door and took the elevator back down to the reception to let me know in 2 minutes that my husband did not respond to the door knocking.
The same front desk receptionist informed me yesterday that my husband checked out the hotel which was wrong information! Another time also the same person told me that my husband was not at the hotel when he was in his room.
I have never seen a hotel so small with lines busy all the time, when not busy the answering machine comes on and then cuts off and with front desk staff giving the wrong information!
I can assure you that we will never book at this hotel again although we are frequent visitors. We will book across the street or other airport hotels pay more and receive much better service!

The Comfort is fairly close to the airport (a long 1/2 mile), and relatively inexpensive. But you get what you pay for....and so the hotel is pretty worn, some area could use serious renovations, and the overall ambiance is that of a cheaper hotel. Also...the shuttle service is very limited.

A VERY run down, poorly maintained hotel! Massively overpriced! Looks more like a bad, run down youth hostel inside. Bathroom trim all falling apart,black mould, filthy carpets, musty smell. “Restaurant” looked like a prison mess hall. This may have got three stars thirty years ago when it was last cleaned or decorated. Avoid at all costs !

Awful experience and not good value for the price.

Very poor experience.
First the transport from the airport to the hotel is not functioning all the time. No one answers the phone numbers given on the panel and no taxi will take you there because it's on the airport property. We wasted an hour to get there.
The room cost was 247.73 pounds sterlings so, not cheap.
Impossible to get electricity in the room. After two trips to the desk, the staff noticed that the fuse box blew.
It was dilapidated, barely clean.
We were cold. The heater although apparently working was giving no heat. There was no spare blanket and no hair drier.
All in all, the worst value for money hotel I have ever stayed in. Avoid at all cost.
I had another stay planned a few days later. I changed it to NH hotel, just in front of the airport for 20 Euros extra and it was a very good hotel.

Cheap and cheerful airport hotel. It's like a 1960s motel, that sort of comfort level. Staff are very helpful and shuttle is excellent, though you have to pre-book. Rooms are a bit naff. The bathroom door handle kept falling off and the light system is confusing.

I found the staff pleasant and helpful with their service. The carpets in the stairways were filthy and worn out. The room was clean which I appreciated. The bath tub was too high to get in and out of safely without slipping or falling. The building has not been maintained as though it is going to close soon. I appreciated it was close to the airport and the driver was very nice.
I thought with a hotel so close to the airport that the facility and experience would be more positive.

I booked a large room with a queen size bed and expected it to be air-conditioned for the price I paid. Instead, I find a nonworking,
air-Acondition and a fan. The phone in the room wasn’t working so I had to go down the gloomy, dark hallway to the elevator to speak to the receptionist. The receptionist told me that they had no other rooms and that I could make do with the fan.
I told her that she had to change my room as I was not about to pay so much of money for a room that had no air-conditioner. She finally agreed to give me another very tiny room which was filthy as though the room and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The only reason I booked this hotel was because it was a mile away from the airport and I had an early morning flight to catch.
I for one would think twice before I book a room online again without knowing the situation and the quality of the rooms.

We stayed at this hotel before an early 6am flight. It was convenient to drop our rental car off the night before the flight and get the hotel shuttle in the morning. The hotel rooms were very clean, however in quite a bit of disrepair. If you want somewhere budget-friendly, convenient, and clean, this could be a good option. The atmosphere of things needing to be updated though left something to be desired. Staff were very nice.

I booked this hotel because I was looking for a place close to the airport of Lyon to catch my flight the next morning. Important to me were a clean and quiet room, and good airport shuttle service for a reasonable price, and that is exactly what I got. A surprise was the exceptional good breakfast, (included) with a lot of choices, which conveniently already started at 6 am. I would certainly book a room again here. Special kudos to the airport shuttle driver. He was very friendly and helpful and certainly earned his tip.

I'll try to be positive and say the bed was comfortable and the towels soft. However, the room and bedding stank of smoke when I tried to tell staff I was told it was a no smoking hotel....I knew that! My point is that the previous occupant had obviously smoked in the room and the room had not been aired since!
The breakfast was extremely basic a croissant, some cereal and bread with cold meat....adequate I guess but not value for money.
And finally, not the hotels fault, but due to late arrival I had missed the last shuttle so rather than walking alone in the dark I took a taxi and was charged €10 for a 5 minute trip! Extortionate!

The hotel itself checked the boxes for a fine airport hotel BUT the shuttle driver didn't show up for work so we (myself and 2 other guests) were stuck at 4 am having to take a taxi to the airport at OUR expense. I was shocked the hotel didn't have a backup plan for this type of service. The main reason to stay at an airport hotel is for the free shuttle. Unfortunately it was so stressful that it ruined the experience.

This was the weirdest hotel we have ever stayed in! The room was small but clean but not even a paper cup to be found in room and little if any soap! Its restaurant was too brightly lite, no atmosphere but surprisingly the food was good. Although we signed up for a 5:20 AM shuttle, no van showed up until 6 AM after several calls. Thank goodness the Lyon airport was not packed at that hour!! Not a happy way to end our trip...

Well located with very good staff. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The corridors and main areas are a little bit run down but that was the only negative.
Good shuttle bus service at night but it doesn't run during the day. Its an easy 15 minute walk to the airport terminal that is well signposted. Be careful if you arrive after 10.30pm you will need the door code however when I arrived late the shuttle bus driver made sure I was aware of this and opened the door for me. I was on a very early flight and the shuttle bus driver was waiting for me in reception to help with my suitcases.
