Quite limited all inclusive offer. You are asked to pay for certain products such ice cream at the bar, the drinks are 3 per day per person only. While in the other hotel we were staying for longer period everything was included in all inclusive option that here at the lobby the coffee is priced and there is info about not refilling the water from the big bottle container. The all inclusive refers to the restaurant only. We were staying 1 night only and even though we had arrived late and knew that we are going to miss 1 meal still went for all inclusive to avoid paying for drinks. I would not imagine myself to stay in this hotel for 1 or 2 weeks holiday period. The limitations are frustrating. The food in the restaurant was very good though. The variety of food was big as well. The receptionists were more than helpful so giving them 5*. The view from the terrace was nice, however the other side of the hotel’s view wasn’t particularly attractive as there was a huge wall with graffiti on. The room was spacious and modern and it had a kitchenette. We were happy from having that room. It’s not bad hotel, however the limitations put us off from booking it again.

The signage was misleading so we spent a lot of time trying to find our room. Towels were dirty and we had to have them changed and there was no hand soap in the bathroom room. There were no double beds we had to join two single beds.

Avoid at all costs

This hotel is an absolute disaster and a waste of money. The only way to reach the rooms is by stairs, making it a nightmare with luggage. The constant hammering from ongoing construction is unbearable—I have video proof. The bathroom is a joke, with no shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner. The in-room phone is dead, making it impossible to reach the front desk. The noise levels make sleeping impossible, turning nights into torture. Cleaning is pathetic, and the so-called “free parking” is almost never available. Spending hundreds of dollars here with family is beyond frustrating—this place is a scam.

We have stayed here at least 3 times before, this time there were a number of issues. Wrong apartment put against key card, wifi not working as DOB not put into system, kitchen equipment very lacking , not even a bottle opening or corkscrew, only 1 knife, no glasses , not everyone is AI. Complained to reception, they sent housekeeper, they bought along a colander and a saucepan !! Issue never resolved

Okay for a 1 night stay. It's easy to get lost navigating around. Had to get several different lifts and walk in between to get to room and bit of a nightmare pushing cases around when we arrived. Breakfast was nice .

Could be a really lovely hotel but food very mediocre at best , staff in the restaurant very nice . . Some music round the pool in the day would help. Some low level lighting in the restaurant and in the evening by pool bar instead of bright spot lights ! Also again maybe some music in the evenings by the pool bar , people may have a dance after the quiz etc Sorry. Just lacking a few things

Spent one night all inclusive at Marina elite hotel as our flight was changed. I was a bit concerned as not very good reviews. What a lovely hotel, lovely staff and great food. Rooms were basic but very clean. Would definitely go back for a holiday and would recommend to friends and family.

This property doesn’t have excellent air conditioning system. After several complaints and after involving Expedia the hotel finally gave a reliable room. The breakfast has same stuff every day which is pretty boring and below standards. Parking for cars is a big hike, depends where you stay on the top end or lower end of the entrance. Beds were comfy to sleep but don’t expect to get the bed sheets changed every day. They only charge them every 4 days which is a shame. Television doesn’t work so kids could feel bored. The hotel has an average sized pool and tennis court. Overall I would rate this hotel to be 3 star or lower.

Lovely location, sea views, good transport links, easy walk along the shore to Anfi beach shops and restaurants. Nice big room. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff helpful.

Wifi was very intermittent, and the British tv channels needed to be reset every day.

Nice hotel

This is my first time staying at the hotel and it met my standards. We arrived there with a express bus from airport in 40 min. The bus stop is right outside but need to walk 2 min under a tunnel because of main roads on top. Receptionist was really friendly and helpful. We got our room in a hill which means a little hill walking, slightly tiering but the majority of the hotels are on a hill. The room was really nice and cosy. Really clean. Nice white sheet on top of the bed. A nice and clean balcony,I was worried for insects but there were none. Beautiful view of the sea. They also clean the room daily which is a plus point if you have children. Breakfast is nice and tasty lots of variety but the same hot food. Overall I will give a 4 star. The hotel is close to Anfi beach and puerto rico beach. 2 min with the bus and taxi. Taxi is really cheap for close distance. Thank you for a lovely stay, we enjoyed it.

Heated pool not working

I have booked this hotel especially for the heated pool, however when me and my friend arrived there, the water was freezing cold. We’ve notified the staff and they told us it will be fixed. It was only fixed on the day of our departure which was extremely disappointing as we booked this hotel purely because of the heated pool as we went in November. There was also no lifts. The view however was amazing we definitely enjoyed our evening on the spacious balconies! Staff in the canteen were also very friendly!

The place advertised air conditioning however this was only on during the day. At night there was no air conditioning and the room was very loud when the windows were open. Staff were unwilling to help and would not provide us with an alternative room.

If you want to lose a little weight book here

We read the reviews after booking and the remarks about the hills and stairs, so I phoned the hotel and asked for a room near a lift which We were was given. The restaurant is on the 7th floor and we had a basic apartment on the 2nd floor with a large balcony the restaurant you either walked up a very long hill and walk up many many many steps to get the the pools although you could get the lift to the 9th floor, cutting out half the hill but you still have the stairs. The breakfast was good value but the evening meal was totally boring and tasteless although there was plenty of if. We were half board and spent almost half the time eating out The bar opening times stated didnt match in reality. The receptionist Anthony was lovely and helpful and the bar and serving staff couldn’t do enough for you. The evening entertainment was a singer two nights a week who was not worth the effort. Everyone was complaining about the climb to the pools. Half of the apartments were close to the pools so they had the climb and stairs every time they wanted the restaurant Would we go again NO

Restaurant quality was good. Self catering quality is poor: no cereal / Soup bowls in apartment. No tin opener had to take tins back to supermarket. Shower head blocked with scale unable to shower on arrival. Shower head changed out next day ok. Beds and towels not changed on day 4 raised with reception and changed day 6

Restaurant food needs some work

Booked as a last minute break so my expectations weren’t that high but the guys was disappointing- the meat was often tough and sometimes cold, there was lots of food but not a great choice, need more child friendly options, my boys (5&3) admittedly are quite fussy but we couldn’t find anything they would eat! They existed on chips and bread for dinner and pancakes for breakfast for the week 🙄
Vitaliya at the kids club was great but the other staff do need to be a little friendlier, staff in reception/bars etc struggled to crack a smile.
The apartments were clean and served their purpose.

Hotel was decent with the rooms cleaned around 3 times over the week. However we only got fresh towels twice and the covers weren't changed once. My partner spilled some make up on the sheets and instead of being changed they just turned the covers round so it wasn't facing outwards.

Food was good on the all inclusive, if you like pork then you'll absolutely love this place.

Don't expect an English breakfast. The sausages are the small Spanish cocktail type ones and the hot plates didn't do a good job of keeping the food warm even when in as soon as it opened. I'd also like to add that the Spanish guests staying there are amongst the most ignorant I've ever come across. They don't seem to believe in queuing. Their mannerisms are very poor.

The pool bars are ok but basic.

The best selling point they have is the small \"beach bar\" down the stairs. It's the only place were you can get cocktails but the bar man was absolutely fantastic and spent his time making us new cocktails and he always seemed happy and was a credit to the hotel.

Overall the hotel (we stayed in the apartments and not the hotel building itself) were of good standard. Room had air con which was a bonus. The location is good if a little quiet. It's around 4 euro in a taxi through to Puerto Rico which has a place called the commercial centre which his pubs and restaurants although some are a little pricey.

If you get this hotel for around 700-900 AI go for it. It's well worth it

Very nice resort with 2 heated swimming pools. Good food quality, most of the staff very nice and helpful :) A lot of parking spaces, great ocean views and very close (5 mins walk) to the best beach of GC (Anfi).
Good bus service. It is not the best place for you if you want to party all the time. It is rather nice and quiet place to chill out.

A great week in the winter sun

Overall we are very glad we stayed here. The reviews we read before we went made me a bit worried but coming from a couple, who for their last few holidays have stayed in 5* resorts, we really enjoyed our stay here. We feel the hotel was rated perfectly. The food was ideal for lunch and breakfast. We did decide to go out for dinner a couple nights just to break it up a little. The restaurants do lack a little in atmosphere but the food is fresh and has good variety. Everything was very clean. The cleaners did a great job with our room and the pool area was always very clean, neat and tidy. I thought the 2 pools were fabulous. Very clean & a lovely temperature. It is a quiet area with outstanding views. You can walk over to the anfi area which is lovely or jump in a taxi to Puerto Rico which is only 4 Euro. We made great use of the local buses which stopped just outside the hotel. We went to Playa del ingles, melonares & Puerto Mogán. Great connections. Yes the hotel has a number of steps and is on a hill but this clear on their website. There are lifts & amazing views (thanks to the hill location). My only negative was regarding the comfort of the beds & heat at night. There is no air con (which you would know when you read about the hotel before you go) I thought in January it would be cool enough but a bit warm for us. Apparently the hotel is getting renovated in spring this year so maybe it will be addressed then. We loved our stay here and will definitely recommend it.

loved it here. it's definitely 3* based on food but accommodation was amazing (We had a sea view apartment) and the support staff can't do enough for you. to get the rating up, food was sometimes a little bit cold in the buffet and there really should be a difference between the vodka and Bacardi. food also needs to warn about allergies and choices (was quite easy being vegan or vegetarian but a day or 2, everything had fish or meat)

There is no air condition or fans in the rooms. Imagine sleeping in a room with windows I cannot open because the adjoining patio can be accessed to my patio. What food that was left over from breakfast was recycled into lunch, then dinner. Hot food was cold no warmers so the so-called hot food was cold. I was sick because of this.. I paid for wi-fi in my room. It worked sometimes and when it did not work I had to go down to the lobby where after waiting in a line (only one attendant at times for a packed hotel) for him to call somewhere in Gran Canaria to respond to my non functioning wi-fi. There is no accessible beach frontage. You had to pay for beach towels. Its at least an hour away from the airport

It was slightly more isolated than we realised but the walks around to the next marina were safe and enjoyable.
The room was great and was cleaned regularly. The view was superb.
The food in the hotel restaurant wasn't always very hot and was very samey.

I really enjoyed my stay in Balito (Marina Elite Hotel) however i would not stay there again.

Good points;
*Next to the beach (if you're alright with beaches that aren't sandy)
*Quiet and clean beach including beach bar
*Clean pool area (there are 2 pools, the one with the kids pool isn't as clean and peaceful as the other pool)
*Good view from the balcony (beautiful scenery all around more or less)

Bad points;
*Quiet isolated
*On arriving not a very warm welcome and had to wait about an hour before they checked us in (although we arrived after check in time)
*There is no AIR CONDITIONING and we had to rent a fan from the hotel. The rooms are much more heated than the weather outside.
*There was an awful stench every time we walked into the restaurant
*Food was quite disappointing and lots of flies around uncovered food
*The beach bar was beautiful however it opened in the evening so if you wanted to go to the bar you would have to walk to the pool area
*The hotel is on a hill so there is a lot of steep hills (to get to the pool you have to walk uphill and the second pool is even further, mind you they have a bar and restaurant up there also)!

Wifi, safe and towels came at an additional cost, even for all inclusive customers. Room was stated to have king size bed when it was only two separate singles. Air conditioning was poor but room was clean. Food was horrible- no covered on outside buffet so food was covered in flies. Overall a very disappointing holiday.

After a bad start with us eventually getting a room on the third time we had a lovely room with a sea view. Room was cleaned everyday and new towels. No air con but we had a breeze from the sea. Food was ok but never hot could have done with being hotter. Alcohol was excellent with great measures. As this was our first all inclusive we have nothing to compare it with but other people said they had had better and worse so I assume it's middle of the range. There was always something that you could eat. Could have done with bar snacks at the beach bar in the evening as when your drinking you sometimes fancy a nibble like crisps or peanuts.

After reading reviews for this place, I was a little hesitant. But I am SO glad I chose to stay here! The hotel was fabulous - great views, all the facilities were amazing, and room was great. A little on the more simple side, but that's exactly what I was expecting in Spain. The only thing I would change is that there is no air conditioning, but that can be fixed by opening all the windows and getting the amazing ocean breeze! The food was great and there was a huge selection, and the staff was unbelievably accommodating - they made sure that our group had everything we needed and more, and went above and beyond when we needed more time to check out, even giving us one room for an entire extra day without added cost. Great stay, would absolutely go back.

Lots of stairs to climb

I would only recommend this hotel to fit people who do not mind climbing lots of stairs to get to the top of the hill several times a day. Very clean, good for families but staff speaks barely any English or German, except for the reception. Food is plenty in a buffet style and edible but no labels or information on what is served. Less but better quality could work wonders especially in cutting the amount wasted. Coctails come from a machine and are yucky. If you want to swim in the ocean, the next beach where you can do it is about 15 minutes walk. No cash machine on site. Fantastic views of the ocean from the rooms and the pools and the pools are very nice.

We stayed in a luxury suite which was well located next to pool and restaurant.
Room was very nice and we'll equipped.
Hotel was secluded so car needed really.
For an all inclusive hotel entertainment should be provided and good quality, this hotel had no entertainment and bar area was tatty and unkept.
Hotel groups very hilly and unsuitable for elderly or people struggling with walking and steps.
Reception staff I found rather unhelpful.

On arrival we were given a very basic map and told to find our room our self , the staff were not polite at all.. With no porters we had to drag our cases up a very steep hill and then steps to get to our room , we were exhausted by the time we eventually found it. We are in our early 50s and quite fit but this place was like having a workout every day. The room was clean and had nice views but no WIFI . The dining room was right down the hill in the main hotel. The first two meals we had were cold so we were there at opening time the next day hoping for a hot or even warm meal , cold again so this was our last time we ate there. Snacks were served at the pool bar and consisted of two types of cake . Puerto rico was only about 5 euro and 5 minutes taxi ride away and a decent meal was from about 7 - 20 euro. The pool aria we used was OK , with a bar and close to our room. The evening bar was back down to the main hotel then seven stories down to the so called beach bar. The beach was manmade, about 50 square metres of sand on rock with no access to the sea . I saw two people fall down on different occasions , ( I think through exhaustion from the climb to there room) one old lady needed a ambulance as she broke her are. Don't bother trying to complain about anything because the staff are very rude and just talk in Spanish laughing amongst them self about any complaint. I have always stayed in all inclusive hotels without ever having a problem but this place has put us off go

OK hotel, close to Anfi Beach.

Stayed here for a short three night break in November. Rooms were clean and neat. Nice pool. Food was good and there was plenty choice. We were on the 6th floor, underneath the restaurant so very noise! First it was kitchen staf preparing breakfast from about 6 am and then once the restaurant opened for breakfast at 7 am people arriving and dragging chairs etc. If I had been staying any longer I would have requested a change of room. Staff pleasant, especially bar staff at the beach bar.

All inclusive for one time stay

Very tasty restaurant food but not so good chips at swimming pool bar. Very nice ocean view from balcony but also not so good ants in the room that make impossible to leave any food or drinks. Some of the staff in reception seams to have no time to listen or willing to help you but was alright. Swimming pools with bars serving food and drinks most of the day. Very close to Anfi beach which is beautiful and great for whole family. Laundry room cost £6 for each use and wifi is free of charge in reception only otherwise £20 for 7 days. I enjoyed our stay but hotel should improve few things.

Hotel location was good. A very quiet hotel due to its location but you can walk approximately 10 minutes around the cost & get to a place called Anfi which has a man made beach which is beautiful & lots of bars/restaurants. If you carry on walking past Anfi you can walk to Arguinguine which has a small port but also shops, restaurants & bars. Puerto Rico is a 5 minute taxi ride costing no more than 4euros - 4.5euros and there you have another lovely beach with boat trips, paddle boarding, jet ski's etc, beach front bars & restaurants. Very basic hotel. Yes it's close to the sea but not on a beach unless you fancy lying on rocks! Beach is 10min walk through the neighbouring hotel grounds. Be prepared to get the bus or taxi for anything. It is not within reasonable walking distance of a shopping area, pub, etc. Hotel entertainment is very poor. All inclusive bar is limited and not the best of drinks available. Food is good but repetitive in only one restaurant. Room very basic, be prepared to pay for a remote control to watch TV and pay for the use of the room safe. Depending on your room, you will have a hike across the road, uphill and what feels like endless stairs to climb to reach the pools-of course it is the furthest away one that has the snack bar. Don't get your hopes up for a nice afternoon snack though-burgers, hot dogs and wilted salad. Overall a hotel with a promising reception that quickly let's you down. Basic and isolated hotel needing updating.

Stairs are a killer. No wifi except lobby.

No wifi at all u less u pay and even when u do u only get it in certain places by the pool area. No wifi in rooms at all. Food not great.

Very basic. Food repetitive and bland. No aircon and no wifi in rooms. Pool area ok. Glad we only stayed 3 nights. More would have been a challenge. Staff friendly and service good but place needs a refresh and modernisation to compete with its namesake in Porta Rica.

Basic room just big enough , pull out bed in living area inadequate no air con , food ok but little variation can struggle for table at busy times ,lots of steps to encounter round resort but keep you fit ,overall for the money and being all inclusive a fair deal basic but if you want Sun a pool and drinks on tap this could fit the bill .

Great hotel with an amazing ocean views!!

Just came back after 10 days stay at Marina Elite hotel. It is very nice hotel with stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. Rooms were cleaned every day apart from Sunday. All staff are extremely pity and help you with everything!! Food was different everyday and lots to choose from. 10 min walk from the hotel through wonderful garden that used to be a mini gold park to a beautiful Anfi beach.
Hotel has 2 pools with bar & beach bar downstairs. Hardly any entertainment, but it was perfect for us.

Greit hotell med forbedringspotensiale.

Dårlig service i resepsjonen. Tykke og harde puter. Vi fikk ikke nye håndklær på 5 dager. Det var mye bråk og dårlig akustikk i spisesalen. God mat.

All inclusive but they know their way to get money. 40€ to keep the room one hour (until 12), they save money on cleaning (you don’t want to look under the bed!), one day we did’t get bed linen, another day they forgot to refill towels.
Food was good. The possibility to get away from the busy and noisy mail buffet two night a week was appreiciated (just be aware you have to pay for wine yourself these nights).
Pool area is nice.
Short distance to beach at Anfi and just a short walk over the mountain (2k) to Puerto Rico

Helt ok. Hyggelig innsjekk. Litt slitent hotell, ikke veldig godt renhold. Sluket i vasken på badet var tett, og det var maur på kjøkkenbenken. Rom med havutsikt - og den er fin, men det støyer ganske mye fra havet, og bølgene som slår mot steiner rett utenfor. Frokosten var grei, men frokostsalen har helt grusom akustikk og også svært høyt støynivå.
Brukte ikke bassengområdet så kan ikke si noe om det. Kort vei å gå til Anfi stranden som er veldig fin.

Appartement spacieux avec un très grand balcon. La douche sans dénivelé est spacieuse, avec un peu de moisissure au sol. 17 min de marche pour aller à la plage la plus proche, très agréable. Stationnement gratuit possible à proximité. La nourriture est variée et de bonne qualité. Le personnel est très avenant.

La experiencia Mala al llegat por parte del recepcionista Miguel que de mala gana y hablando subido de Voz dijo q la entrada es a las 3 cosa que ya sabiamos pero la forma que el se expresa abrupta y nada profesional!
De ahi la habitacion bien , la limpieza , lo mejor la comida estaba bien, ahora las bebidas alcolicas ina porqueria! A no ser que tomes cerveza , mal! Esos cockteles , vino y sangria son de los barato , barato , nada agradable . Para mi es un hotel 3 estrellas no 4 como se valora ellos, algun personal tambien malhumorado, deve ser que no hay sugicinete personal para atender la barra.
NO VOLVERE!

Muy mala experiencia, no volveremos

mal, había huespedes molestando y solicitamos un cambio de habitación, que nos dijeron que sí y nos quedamos todo el fin de semana esperando el cambio sin producirse.
Solicitamos un check out tardío, y nos solicitan por tres horas, 40 € por persona, vamos de risa, por estar de 11 a 14 horas.

La estancia y comida muy bien, la habitación normal, lo mejor las vistas y las camas muy buenas para descansar.
El personal del bar piscina no todos pero sí 2, malas caras, contestaciones fuera de lugar y exigencias si más, hemos ido todo incluído y somos personas como los que vienes a ser turismo y no todos somos iguales, merecemos ser tratados con respeto como nosotros misnos lo hacemos no pedimos más, no daré nombre porque jamás jugaría con el puesto de trabajo de nadie, y se que la hosteleria es muy dura y sacrificada pero no somos culpables personas que también trabajamos y arrohamos para poder descansar, desconectar y disfrutar unos días, vuelvo y repito que sólo se nos de el mismo trato cuando somos empáticos, respetuosos con todo el personal donde vamos, no se juzga antes de ver. Muchas gracias.

Funkar en natt!

Ett rätt slitet jättehotell. En del promenad uppför men finns hissar. Består av många huskroppar. Ingen imponerande all inclusive mat så vi åkte taxi och stöttade det lokala näringslivet. En natt mellan två golfrundor var ok. Dock dåliga sängar och ännu sämre kuddar och täcken.

Ei sovi huonojalkaisille!

Marina Elite hotelli oli todella ikävä kokemus. Hotellin esitteessä pitäisi mainita, että paikka ei sovi huonokuntoisille ja -jalkaisille matkailijoille! Huoneeni oli hotellin perimmäisessä nurkassa, ensin piti kävellä ylämäkeen todella pitkä matka, sen jälkeen kantaa matkalaukkua sokkeloisia käytäviä pitkin ja aina välillä kavuta lisää portaita. Tai sitten hotellissa pitäisi olla kantajia, jotka auttavat matkatavaroiden kanssa. Onneksi olin Elitessä vain kaksi yötä, siinä oli kaksi liikaa.

Näkymät olivat toki loistavat, siitä tuo yksi piste.

Skicket på hotellet var dåligt och allmänytorna var slitna. Vi fick matförgiftning av frukostbuffen. Läget nära Anfi Beach var det enda positiva med detta hotell.

Hotellin vastaanotossa ystävällinen palvelu. Hotelli siisti. Huoneiden siivous satunnaista eikä niin hyvää. Risaiset pyyhkeet ja harmaaksi värjäytyneet kylpytakit eivät vastaa **** luokitusta. Mukava sviitti ja loistava parveke merinäköaloineen. Aamiainen hyvä. Ihana loma.

Rom for forbedringer

Fin, fin beliggenhet. perfekt for å se solnedgangen. Kort vei til Anfi stranden. Fine bassengområder. God frokostbuffet.
Men da vi kom hadde det vært mus på rommet. Det var muselort i et skap og på soverom og bad. Vi bad om ny vask og nytt sengetøy da det også hadde vært i en av sengene. Vask ble gjort etter 3 dager, og sengetøy fikk vi ikke. Kun noen ekstra laken som jeg selv måtte legge på. Så renhold og service kunne vært bedre.

Bestilte tidlig hadde ønske om et rom med på en bestemt side, men som mange ganger før ikke oppfylt ønske.
Oppholdet ellers var helt greit,annsate i resepsjonen kan være mere imøtekommende og hyggelige.

OK Hotell, men unngå maten

Vi har vært her før og var mer fornøyd sist.
Grunnen til at vi er mindre fornøyd i år er på grunn av maten, - den var dårligere nå og den er ikke verdt pengene. Frokosten er en ok hotellfrokost, men med mindre frukt enn før og lite utvalg - f.eks. ikke jordbær eller bringebærsyltetøy..
Middag var god noen dager, men mye dårlig, det var ikke verdt det.
Renholdet er helt ok, det fremstår som rent og greit.
Bassengområdet er helt fint og det er fint mulig å ha gode dager ved bare å bli på hotellets område, det er også treningsrom, bordtennis, et lite lekeområde for barn, tennisbane etc.
Vi liker plasseringen av hotellet fordi vi kan gå 7 minutter og være på stranden ved Anfi eller besøke venner på Anfi. Vi pleier å leie bil og det er greit å kjøre til og greit å parkere der (gratis).
