I chose this property as I wanted to be close to Miraflores Locks. I was not disappointed with my decision with the selection of the hotel. The property itself was very impressive, clean and well maintained. The hotel room as well as the Lobby area was very pleasing. Most importantly the staff - Fransisco, Bianca made me feel welcome and well attended to . Will surely stay here during my next visit

The hotel was nice, and staff was great, but a bit noisy there by the railway. The lobby smells too strongly of deodorizer. It's very overwhelming. Some of the food was mediocre, but some good; the coffee very good. The water wasn't very hot in the shower, unfortunately. It was warm, but not hot enough. We were only there for 2 nights, so I put the do not disturb sign on the door and when I returned at the end of the day, I discovered that housekeeping came in anyway to clean the room. I was upset about that and I gently complained in the survey they sent me after the first night. They were quick to apologize and actually apologized a few times over the next day. The bed was comfortable. I wouldn't stay here again, however, because it's too noisy when we tried to sleep.

Very professional. The rooms are in excellent condition. The hotel is near 5-6 restaurants and cafes. The shopping mall 10 minutes away and the Panama Canal 5 minutes. The view from the room looks out over the Canal, as ships pass through. Bueno.

Unfortunately the stay at this Hotel was a bad surprise, we had used it before but things have changed, we had an issue with the Front Desk staff as she did not recognized a valid ID in Panama and her attitude was arrogant and kind of rude, it is clear that the Hotel is rundown, the corridor had a terrible humid smell, the furniture was old and the TV is easily 10 years old, it looks like the management is taking advantage of being the only option in the area and clearly does not care to provide a good stay.

When traveling, staying at a brand named hotel is always a good bet. It's not going to be an epic stay neither will it be a disaster. The price will be a little high but not over the top. The service will be adequate but nothing to write home about.
Overall, this Holiday Inn was a typical Holiday Inn. It served me well but didn't exceed my expectation of an average good stay.

This hotel is really dated and old feeling. They need to update their room furniture (many scuffed, ripped, well used!). Beds were comfortable. The fan in the bathroom made unnecesary noises when being used. Water pressure in shower not great. They could also put some pictures or something on the walls for update. Room was not cosy feeling by any means!!

Very friendly staff and views of Panama Canal from rooms. Unfortunately, rooms do not have balconies and windows don’t open so the experience of viewing ships in the Canal is diminished. Restaurant options limited to the on site cafe and a Spanish restaurant next door.

This is a great hotel to stay, across de Panamá Canal, you can see the ships going along the canal (request canal view). Wonderful location, quite and surrounded by nature. I recommend it.

I just had to stay there for one night to travel the next morning to Bocas Del Toro. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The upper floor was under construction but I did not hear a thing. TV was first not working but within no time an employee showed up, took the remote, came back with different remote and it worked well. Breakfast next morning is dangerous because it is sooo good. You don’t want to stop putting the great food in your mouth ;-)
If I have to stay again overnight in Albrook I will go there again for sure. Unfortunately I did not try the pool area, maybe next time :-)

Housekeeping services is horrible, they never cleaned the floors or the dust. Our safety box was broken and we lost $300. Everything in the gym is broken and they don’t offer airport shuttle services as stated in the website.

When we got there the agent said we had a Panama canal view and when we got to the room it wasn't a view of the Panama Canal, it was a view of the back of the hotel. The hotel also blamed Expedia and said they don't have any suites with a view of the canal. They hire Expedia to book their inventory so the hotel is still responsible to ensure the listings are accurate. The hotel was also dirty and noisy, and not what we expected. We left half way through our reservation and want a refund. They put us in a standard unit for the few days we did stay there so we could have a canal view but didn't refund the difference for those nights either.

This hotel looked nice from the outside, the front desk people were professional and accommodating. However, the AC didn't cool. They replaced the unit the next day. There was no microwave oven in the room even though it was advertised. The floor was filthy. One of the windows had a nasty film inside the glass panes which made it hard to see through. This is not how one of the \"nicest\" motels should be.

The outstanding quality of this hotel was the staff at front desk! They were always pleasant and so willing to help! They not only called local cabs but watched over us to make sure we were picked up whether it was a cab they secured for us, one we had booked, or a tour with pick up we had booked. If it hadnt been for Doris at the front desk on the morning of our departure i know we would have missed our flight! As it was the flight was closed by the time Taxi2 very belatedly got us there...but, a very nice check in person let us register for flight.
Altho the location of this Inn is a bit remote the staff, the room service, the buffets were great.
The pool is very small and the one day we were going to use it a birthday party was being enjoyed by a local group.
It was not conducive to walking as few sidewalks, narrow roads, fast drivers.

We picked this property because of its proximity to the Miraflores Locks. We were able to see the canal and the ships from the property. We really enjoyed the area. It was outside the city and in a very nice area. The breakfast was superb.

It is very, very humid in Panama so there are some challenges with the facilities. Nothing big but lots of condensation on the windows. Nevertheless, the property was very clean and the staff was excellent. We couldn't have picked a better place for our needs.
