Loved our king suite. The space was perfect for our stay. Microwave, mini fridge & in room coffee/tea station. The bathroom/shower could be in use and could not be heard while watching tv. Some cons…Sauna out of commission. Hottub was slightly warm but no bubbles. Pool was nice and we had the space to ourselves (around 7:30/8ish on a Saturday). Suite carpet was filthy and turned our socks black. Drapes excessively stained too.
The pros! Good location, parking maintained to a clean standard and had lush landscaping (June 2026). Coffee & refreshing lemon water located in the lobby in the evenings…sometimes. Breakfast buffet maintained well and had ‘make your own’ waffles, cereal, mini muffins, breads & bagels, yogurt, apples, and a hot buffet of sausage, eggs, potatoes with biscuits & sausage gravy. Coffee, milk, juice and tea available with a nice seating area. Staff was friendly and helped wherever they could.

They don’t have fans but the room’s a/c unit did very well

The Hotel stay was great rooms good beds soft was satisfied UNTIL we went to have breakfast! The worker/staff who was an older woman was slamming dishes around and throwing pans slamming the covers, slamming the fridge doors, roughly putting chairs under tables and wiping then going to the front desk talking to the front desk clerk then coming back and continuing to slam things around and mumbling things, I could not help but watch her and she ruined our morning we hurried and ate our food was afraid to enjoy, I don’t think she liked us in there or having to refill the food for us BUT she was nicer to other people.

The bed was old and worn out, sagging. Asked to switch rooms in hopes bed would be better and was told that’s not an option. Had to check out and pay for another room somewhere else shortly after checking in due to not being able to sleep on such uncomfortable bed. Staff didn’t care. Sauna was out of order also. Room smelled bad too. Spend the extra $60 for a nicer place somewhere else.

At checkin we were informed 1 of the 2 rooms that we booked together didn't have a working TV. With no offer to switch us to a comparable room the desk agent told me to cancel thru the 3rd party we used to book & request a refund that she would approve & rebook another. I mentioned the rooms with the double queen's that she said was available was listed at the same price as the king suites we had. She mentions the 3rd party is cheaper than the normal $180 a night. She seems disgusted by this like we are ripping them off. I say I don't have the funds to wait on the refund & book another room or the time. We already relocated due to an Airbnb issue. She then snidly asks if I'll be paying the deposits for both rooms. I ask how much & she says $200 a piece. At this point my son-in-law jumps in & says he can pay for their room deposit without the working TV. I mention it's a shame we paying a larger deposit that the cost of the room & still no TV or offer to accommodate in anyway. We ask about the laundry facilities, those are also out of order. We end up with rooms on separate floors as well. When I finally get back into the room my TV is stuck on ESPN and I have to have the new desk agent come fix it at 130am. That morning at breakfast a man sets near us by the window. He opens the blinds & the floor attendant asks him sternly to don't it blocks the afternoon sun. It was uncomfortable and he closes them. These employees need to remember they work for corporation not the mgr.

I booked a night with seeing the photos of a full hot breakfast with eggs and other protein, the curtains were dirty and looked as though there was throw up on them, when we went down for the hot breakfast, there was no hot breakfast, and the employee said that the breakfast employee did not show up for the day and he was covering the front desk as well as breakfast and so he was only offering cereal. I informed him that we came based on the advertised breakfast as being a hot breakfast with protein and he said this is the breakfast we are offering I requested a refund or credit and was met with incredibly rude responses and no offer to accommodate either the breakfast or dirty room.

We were just there overnight. Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. We did not have the breakfast because we had to leave for the airport at 4:30am. Used the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but it is not clearly marked for comfort inn. Because of our early flight, we took Lyft to return to airport. Would stay here again….

Pool was ice cold. Hot tub was not a hot tub. Laundry didn’t work. My wife was able to use the business center first day but second day there was a new person working front desk. Said business center was no longer. Workout room was terrible. Treadmill and elliptical barely worked if at all. Staff was overall very rude. We stayed for 6 nights and would never stay again. Breakfast was average at best. Lady working the breakfast was very rude as well.

I am always booking a room here for me and my family. we go to many events out in Boise this time around at check-in I was told that the TV did not work. Which I have to have a TV on when sleeping so my sleep was horrible. The attendant stated that there was nothing she could do and I'm sure she didn't go above and beyond to do what could be done. I understand things happen but would like some type of compensation knowing that I'm always booking.

Really outdated and run down appeal. For the price per night we were expecting more. Sofa bed was broken, found ants in our room, stains all over the carpets beds really need to be replaced. Peeling and bubbling wallpaper , some teammates stayed with here as well and all their food got covered in ants front desk refused to let them switch rooms and when they were gone they went into their room and sprayed it for ants without their consent. TVs are broken. For the price per night find somewhere else to stay.

DO NOT STAY at this Comfort Suites. I'm in my mid 40s. I've never before received worse treatment from any service or hospitality oriented business in my life. I'm still in shock. If I didn't experience it myself, I don't think I'd believe it could actually happen to anyone. Luckily, there were cameras, and Choice Hotels corporate is investigating. Hopefully my case won't fall into a black hole of unresolved claims. Long story short, I made a calm request to have an issue resolved related to our room TV not working (3-night stay). In reality, being an advertised amenity, this should have been happily resolved. No apology. No resolution. Instead, the front desk attendant and general manager dismissed me by abandoning the front desk and hiding in the back rooms. They each lied on separate issues during the long exchange that involved a 3-party call with corporate. They covertly gaslit me by pretending I was irate and refusing to talk to me. The camera recordings show the truth. At one point, a third associate approached me and tried to help while the others hid, and the manager commanded him to walk away from me. Before you think that I must have been rude or belligerent, please understand that I was not. Not in the slightest. Their rudeness and disdain was unprofessional, offensive, unfitting of the situation, and worthy of termination. Expedia investigated and graciously and properly refunded me. Choice Hotels also has an ongoing investigation.

When asking about switching rooms when someone checked out, the front desk guy was very rude and blankly stared at me and just kept repeating that they were “fully booked”. Not my favorite experience.

The website said checkin was at 3:00 pm. We got to the hotel to check in at 4:15 pm and the room wasn’t ready. Waited for 15 min to finally get checked in.

Mold on ceiling in bathroom. It appears someone tried to clean it and it ended up smeared on the ceiling. No hand soap or shower soap. Front desk person gave us two very small thin bars of soap which she stated was also shower soap although they had liquid shampoo and conditioner. ??

Hot tub was cold and basically no jets... very disappointing. There was no soap on the room to wash hands or in the shower .. luckily I brought a bar from the last hotel. Breakfast lady was kind of rude and the breakfast options for Monday morning was slim pickings. Had to wait at the front desk counter for long periods for anyone to show up to help . Will pick a different place next time.

We stayed here specifically because we needed an airport shuttle at 11pm. I called earlier in the day to let them know we would be flying in late and that we would need the shuttle at that time. I was told they didn’t have a shuttle (even though hey advertised it) and when I asked how I could get there I was told I had to figure it out. No one suggested alternative methods of transportation. We wound up using Uber, which was great, but incurred extra costs on top of the hotel.
When we arrived there was no one at the desk for 10 minutes. We finally got checked in, and although the room was clean, there was no soap in the bathroom or shower!
I will never stay here again. Absolutely awful.

A little rough, couch was worn, carpet worn, desk chair wouldn’t adjust to normal position, tub faucet leaking and very loud, shower very weak. Bed and bedding were ok but pillow was lumpy. Breakfast was ok with good variety. Oh, very warm in hallways and common areas, had to turn a/c way down in room to cool off.

Where do I begin?

Listing claims “airport shuttle,” but it’s only one way - I got in to Boise late and took a shuttle to the hotel, but when I tried to get back to the airport the next day to rent a car, I was told there was no shuttle.

No soap - not just no soap in room, no soap in entire building. Front desk literally had no soap. One working ice machine in the entire building.

Room was at least spacious and quiet, but looked like it had been put through the wringer with lots of wear and tear.

The staff could use some training on customer service and politeness. Room was expensive for clean but outdated rooms. Melted ice in freezer, lamp by bed not working. Mattresses well used. There were several large parties of students that were loud and understandably not the hotels fault. The breakfast was tasty and the morning lady in the kitchen was crass but very clean and knowledgeable.

Courtesy airport pick-up for the property would not transport us because the hotel was overdue in paying their bill. At after 11pm, we had to call and then wait for two Ubers (first one cancelled). We were out of pocket $10 and delayed by nearly an hour. After 22 hours flying. There was no soap in our room. We were at breakfast about 7 am. Most of the breakfast items were missing; the only hot food was waffles with rock hard butter and cold syrup. The hot water wasn't hot enough to make tea or oatmeal. There were no coffee cups left, or forks. The only pastry available was some sliced bread and tasteless muffins. There was no cereal, empty serving trays, empty containers, empty crockpot. The refrigerator had cream cheese, butter and some yogurt. There were a total of three apples in the three bowls. The TV was missing, with cords hanging out of the wall. I wondered if it was broken or stolen. There was an artificial Christmas flower arrangement on the display wall of the dining room. In May.

The staff deserve medals. They had ONE person working the desk, manning the breakfast room, doing maintenance, and cleaning. He was professional, polite and cheerful. Everyone was complaining to him. Same goes for the night desk clerk (patient and helpful}.and the room cleaners. They are obviously given little material or managerial support, but they're doing an amazing job. We won't stay again.

Rooms are good size and staff was great. The breakfast was good but limited on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s. Hot tub jets don’t work and the only ice machine that works is on the 3rd floor. Just a suggestion but It would be nice if they put an “Out Of Order” sign on the other ice makers and note to get it on 3rd floor so this way people don’t have to find staff and ask about it.Overall we were satisfied with the stay. Out of 5 stars I would give it a 4.3

Try and stay somewhere else. This place is worn out. Should be $60/night instead of $120+. The “non-smoking” room STUNK of old stale smoke. Not like it had been recently smoked in, but like long time old lingering smoke. And it was heavy with the smell. Probably in the carpet, curtains, mattress, ventilation system… the kind that makes you gag. TV didn’t work. Cheap worn out mattress, in desperate need of an overhaul. I will give credit that it was clean for an older hotel and the room was very quiet, which I appreciated. Bathroom spotless and lots of clean towels. But the smell was awful. At this price point, there are several other options within a few blocks. Choose wisely.

If I could rate the staff here a 0 I would. Extremely rude. While at breakfast, a staff member told my husband to “stop touching stuff” referring to the “all you can eat breakfast buffet” food. I don’t want to think it was racially motivated but, it felt that way. When I tried to tell the front desk staff, they were very dismissive and pretty much accused me of lying. Very rude people that made my family and I extremely uncomfortable. We are very polite and kind people who treat everyone with so much respect and kindness so being treated this way was alarming to say the least. Very disappointing.

This place was poorly maintained and filthy. The desk chair was broken, the cabinetry was scuffed, stains on the carpet, and the couch looked like it came from a garbage dump. When I approached the staff about it they were rude. Said it didn’t matter and nothing would be done. He was aggressive and dismissive. He refused to give me the franchise contact information. I did contact corporate anyway. The breakfast attendant was rude and when I was getting oatmeal for me and my child back in the room she asked me if I had enough in a disgusted tone. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had.

Only hot option was waffles but batter ran out before 8:30am and front desk informed us that no more was available. Coffee was gone and area for coffee by the front desk had no dispensers available. Picked this hotel in large part for the breakfast.

Arrived at the property to check in front desk staff no where to be found stood there for over 5 minutes no way to page or let them know you're there. Get to the room and multiple light bulbs burnt out so room was dark. The bathroom toilet paper holder was missing. The one bed didn't even have bedding on it had to go to the front desk to get bedding. The hot tub wasn't very hot room temperature was warmer than the water. The breakfast was decent had a variety. However when time came to checkout staff was once again non existent.

A little bit of a mixed experience with this one. We stayed for close to a week. Some staff was great while others were less than so, but they were available 24/7 and no matter what were accommodating of requests and accurate information. They have stricter than necessary rules when it comes to needing amenities like extra towels and trash bags but they always were ready to happily exchange them out when requested. The breakfast was amazing but it was the exact same items every day, so by day 3 it loses its appeal a bit. The hot tub and pool are nice but the tub could be much hotter and some actual jets would’ve been nice. The room we had was excellent and had everything we needed including a larger fridge. Shower pressure left much to be desired but that was a small complaint for a room that really did have it all. Location is great in relation to the freeway, but the hotel is at the bottom of a hill so cell service wasn’t the greatest. WiFi worked well but requires you to reverify login info many times a day which was a hassle while doing work related items. Overall the good experiences outweighed the less than ideal issues, and we would still recommend this place, especially families with children.

The breakfast was incredibly disappointing. Milk and yogurt weren't even cold, fruit provided was wilted apples. The biggest disappointment there was no maid service during our stay (I guess it is avaliable on req) , yet the day of check before 9 am we ran a couple bags to the car and went up to finish packing up and the maid was already in our room stripping it. We hadn't checked out and this seem completely inappropriate because we had until 11 to be out. Talked to the front desk and the staff was just dismissive of the issue. Definitely dont recommend, nor will we return.

As we arrived at check in desk with a couple and child right behind us, a man rolled out the front door passing all of us already in the foyer. He did not address us. There was a sign that staff would return soon. We assumed man who left was going home. Wish we had checked the time. After quite some time, enuf that child was very artsy and crawling over dad. Came in very calm with attentive parents. Man rolled back in and checked us in. Not very welcoming but same on recent checkout. As we left, young man who checked us in before at desk, as before, very welcoming. Would love more fruit besides apples with breakfast, ongoing dental work. Thx

Gentleman at check-in was awesome. When we came back after hockey and were trying to get ice he came down the hall and let us know where the ice machine on our floor was. Tv not working, hubby called and same man quickly told him how to change input. He was great. However, on checkout, we told a different man the sink had a drip. He took our key and rolled off.

None of the amenities they listed were working the reason inchose this hotel and I’m assuming the reason for the price of this hotel are due to the amenities however they did not work. The room was kind of gross and the bed look like it had been slept in before I got there.

I had a great stay. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Offered airport shuttle, which was nice. Close to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Was not informed that the hot tub was out of order. The front desk could have informed me before running my payment
I have kids and they were very upset about the let down. I also have back problems and was looking forward to a soak after travel.
