I wouldn't know the front desk messages me around 10:30 asking me when I would be checking in I informed them I was on my way I still had to cross the border so I couldn't give a exact time of arrival they informed me the front desk would close at 12\"00 I was inspected at the border but I arrived at 11:57 the security guard told me the front was closed so no check in..

Overall it was fine. Close to everything, great location. The room was clean and basic. Great big smart TV that worked great. The bed was very comfortable and the HVAC split worked really well. Shower had nice hot water. I was provided with 2 towels, shampoo, lotion, a bar of soap and 2 waters.

* they really are strict on that 3PM check-in. Don’t even arrive early.
* There really is no soundproofing. I could either hear club music or mariachi all night. On Saturday night , it really was like the mariachi band was right outside my door. Like, VERY loud. At 7 am after a terrible night of sleep and the music still blaring, I went for breakfast and just suffered without sleep. . The hotel can’t help the music , but they can figure out some better soundproofing options .
* Room doesn’t quite “black out” - this didn’t bother me, but if you want it pitch black room, it’s not possible.
* The shower is actually in the room, so if you’re staying with someone, make sure you know them really well.
* The one elevator is painfully slow.

My stay at the hotel was very comfortable. The place was super clean, and the staff was very kind and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. I made two separate reservations for single rooms since I was traveling with my parents, and everything worked out perfectly. They made me feel comfortable and safe. Have stayed at Hotel One Grand Plaza over 10 times in the last year. I made my reservation almost two months in advance. When I arrived on 2/14/2026 I was told my reservation had been canceled due to company policy, since I arrived around 9pm, that since I had booked through Expedia that they could not honor my reservation. I Had to find another place to stay where I wasn’t able to sleep, and just to add to my horrible trip, lost my Ipad at this other place I stayed. Have been using Expedia forever and had never experienced something like this. Not even mad about the experience, more so disappointed and will have to watch out every time in the future when booking my trips.

Our stay was very good, until my last day when I was packing and I noticed 3 of my belongings were missing. I had a brand new item of jewelry I purchased on my trip gone. A pair of pants. And part of my keychain on my luggage gone as well. I stayed for a little over a week and I didn’t notice until my last day. The food, room, amenities & service was all very nice but I don’t condone or appreciate stealing peoples belongings. It is very telling of people’s character. I’m not sure who would have done this but it made me feel very uneasy because my passport & important documents were also in the room and they could have been stolen too. I would have recommended this hotel to other people but not anymore. I’m sad to have to leave this review because the place is very nice. Stealing is never okay.

The only issue I had was the heater not working and being that it's winter, we were pretty cold. Just for that I give 3 stars instead of 5. We even had room service try to help and it still didn't work. We didn't ask for another room only because we didn't want to bother anymore.

Reserved a room for New Year’s Eve celebrations nearby the hotel area (revolution avenue) opting for a delux room with king sized bed. On arrival the room was freezing and turned the ac/heater unit before leaving the room for a couple of hours to ring in the new years.
