Million dollar view of the ocean. Beautifully decorated. Could have been cleaned better in some of the corners. Also would recommend them having a mop and bucket available. There was only a broom and dustpan. More garbage bags and paper towels and they didn’t provide Kleenex or bleach to bleach the towels.

We loved this property. It was family friendly and clean. Walkable to lots of dining options. Loved the walking/bike path. Kids playground nearby. My 3 year old loved the “beach entry” pool. My only suggestion is to make the bedroom window have an option for black out.

The area was quiet/beautiful/clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grocery near by. Loved the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella.
We want to come back!

The apartment was spacious, very clean, well designed, with a balcony and side beach view. The apartment has everything you need to include a washer/dryer, beach towels, snacks, beverages, and soap/shampoo for two days. The location was on the beach (the complimentary beach service is a bonus!) with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The front desk staff was friendly, and the doormen were helpful with bags, transportation, etc.

Areas for improvement is the email communication with staff. I requested recommendations for dining options prior to my stay and was told there were restaurants nearby (not helpful), a couple of front desk staff members made several comments in Spanish about another guest (not knowing that I was fluent in Spanish).

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay at Monte Carlo Miami Apartments again, and recommend it to others. Thank you!

We keep coming back to the Monte Carlo because the rooms are apartments with everything needed, the beach and location are fantastic with great nearby restaurants, Publix, Walgreens and souvenir shops. It’s family oriented with 2 great pools, lounge, pool table, gym and free beach chairs/umbrella. I could go on & will definitely be back.

Rooms at least the one I was staying very worn down especially bathroom . Bathroom was horrible not really well cleaned plus everything was very poorly done and looked like old bathroom in some 3 star hotel. And the unit I was in was sea view well not much of ocean view unless u were on the balcony from the windows only view u have is windows of another building not much privacy and the balcony was next to balcony of another unit so u feel like u sharing the balcony with other unit so not really relaxing because not only ppl from other building were staring at u but ppl from other unit were on top of u too, when i booked the room showed private separate balcony not such a good job Expedia with room overview I would never book unit knowing my balcony is right next to other unit balcony that you can’t really seat and relax and enjoy the partial ocean view . Around the hotel not much to do ,no nice restaurants ,no good stores u need car or uber to more entertaining areas. Next door is small hotel with bar and cute restaurant food was good great place for lunch , I’m not sure if they stay open late tho.

Awesome apartments. A little further away from South Beach (but only about $10 Uber or free Miami Beach trolley away). Beautiful ocean (or city views) with large balconies. Two pools. Beach chair and umbrella service. Comfortable sofas/living rooms and bedrooms. Full kitchens stock with utensils, dishes, etc. Could not ask for more.

I liked the accommodations very much but since it is not a hotel they do not have a restaurant or even a coffee shop. You can use the full kitchen to make whatever you like as there is everything you need in the apartment.

I rented 2 units. The ocean view unit with balcony is fantastic! The city view, no balcony unit, has a futon bed in living room which is not as comfortable as a pull out sofa bed. Everything is as described. Decor and kitchen items are tasteful and new.
Wish they would provide more than 2 keys per unit; it is a hassle with 4 people.
I appreciated the accommodation for a late check out (with fee) and having a restaurant in building next door. Very nice pool areas, gym and pool table.
Overall, a good choice if you need a kitchen, yet plenty of eating options walking distance.

Our stay at the Monte Carlo was Amazing. My family and I stayed for 5 days during the 4th of July week and watched the Drone and forework show from the beach. The kitchen and refrigerator, stove and othe utensils were a must for that long of a stay. Liked the chairs and umbrellas on the beach that were provided everyday as well. The property was very laidback and everone was very nice. Vallet service was great. Five star stay for us.

American Black Film Festival accomodations

The place was very nice and the view was great. However, the air kept going out, and it is ENTIRELY too HOT in Miami, Florida to have air that is not cooling the place adequately. It is a key #1 priority for me when staying somewhere, that I can be cool and therefore comfortable. Additionally, the power went out a different night, and there was no backup generator, which is crazy. The elevator was out, and we had to walk up 10 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! (We were on the 10th floor.)

I would like a partial refund, because these things were unacceptable.

Also, additional inconveniences was there were only 2 sets of towels provided for a week stay, and because there were 2 of us, we had to continually wash towels like every day. Again, not how you want to spend your business/vacay trip. Along the same vein, when we called to request more toilet tissue, we had to call the number repeatedly before someone finally picked up and had the tissue brought up, which is not ideal when you are waiting to use the “facilities”, but it takes nearly 30 minutes to get toilet paper.

Besides these items, it would have been a beautiful stay. :(

We had a lovely corner condo owned by the property mgt co. Stocked with beach and bath towels. Kitchen pots and pans very scratched and not safe to cook with IMO. The tray of snacks were perfect. The balcony gave us a beautiful view. The w/d let us clean towels each night for the beach. Easy to get chairs and umbrella. Drinks and food on the beach from the cafe next door. Pricey but convenient. No one enforced the no smoking law which was disappointing. Several of the machines in the gym were broken and it was closed the last two days of our stay. Desk staff polite and helpful. Very easy to buy late checkout to match our departing flight. We would go back.

We have stayed at the Monte Carlo several times over the years. The property overall is beautiful and right on the beach with a Publix grocery store a short walk away. The units are individually owned and this is where the big difference comes in. The one we stayed at this time was owned by Miami Vacations. It was spacious and had nice partial ocean views. However, there was black mold in the shower, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with a hard bar running down the middle and there were not enough supplies for our stay. For example no dish towels are provided, just one small single ply roll of paper towel for a 10 day stay. The supplies were so minimal it seemed they don’t expect you to use the kitchen or the bathroom and you are responsible for your own replenishments. The part that bothered me the most was we requested additional bedding and pillows on our first night to try and make the sofa bed more comfortable (we are a family of 4 so two people had to sleep on it). They said no, we counted the bedding in that room and you have enough. We had to go out and buy a large comforter to sleep on top of, to make that bed less terrible. The dishwasher stopped working after a few days. A little bit of effort from the owners to accommodate guests would go a long way. The rest of the property is well taken care of and beautiful with two pools and a nice gym. The beach comes with chairs and umbrellas for guests. We might stay here again but not in units owned by Miami vacations.

Greeting was very terrible. Did not welcoming me as a guest in their own home. Told me to just sign papers and didn’t even explain to me what I was signing. Room temperature kept getting hot and it was suppose to be 72• cool but left out and came back room was at 82•. I did like the gym and hot tub. Late nights coming in workers were just sitting around and no one was at the desk. Phones also didn’t work to contact front desk and also no room services lever came around to clean or offered anything needed.

The property and rooms were very nice. I had the full ocean view room and it was beautiful. I did find a good bit of some small bugs some alive and some dead. I feel they should bomb the units on occasions. Very homey vibe which I liked. Minus the bugs, I would still stay here again. I do wish they had faster communication via email. In addition I asked for white wine in advance and I got red. I had the VIP option and I was unable to fully use which was disappointing. I never even opened the red wine.

The hotel room pictures were misleading. The room was advertised as having a partial sea view, but the reality was quite different. Instead of the beautiful view shown in the pictures, we faced the building next door throughout our stay. If you leaned over the balcony and looked to the right, you could catch a glimpse of the sea, but that was about it. I recommend the hotel to post the actual pictures of the room that the customer is booking to avoid confusion.
The more significant problem was that the next-door neighbor's balcony was incredibly close to ours, which made the situation awkward. Imagine walking out on the balcony, and two people are staring at you, closer than a hug's distance. It was beyond uncomfortable. Every time we were there, they were there. We could hear their conversations, and they could hear ours. Privacy fence anyone? The hotel staff was something else! We were extremely dissatisfied with their service, they literally ruined the vacation. It wasn't just bad customer service, it was non-existent. I have received better customer service at international customs but no joking. Don’t get me wrong; we weren’t expecting them to have a heartfelt communication with us, but a smile, a welcome or a bye! Nothing! You just get stared down I swear I had better service at an international customs, but no joking I would not recommend this hotel, until at least they get better customer service so you don’t go to sleep thinking the front desk will blow the place up

This is one of the old original hotels built in North Miami Beach during the late 1940s. It has been updated nicely and was pleasant to stay in. There are restaurants and a grocery store close by and it sits on the pedestrian walk along the beach. The location utilized modern security measures for entry and elevator access to the residential floors. I would stay here again.

This place is a paradise on earth. We enjoyed every second spent here. The apartment was huge with two smart TVs, a balcony, and all kitchen appliances. The hotel is clean, featuring two amazing pools—one large and great for swimming, and the other smaller one right next to a hot tub for cooling off. The only downside is that the area around the hotel doesn't offer many food options. However, our room was so nice that we didn't really want to go out much.
I usually don’t like to go to the same place twice but I will definitely go to this place again.

Customer service is horrible. Staff is constantly on their cell phones. Receptionist was busy eating when I greeted her in the morning and was told by her that she didn’t bother greeting since she had a mouth full. Ma’am aren’t you suppose to be working? Don’t stay here if you appreciate hospitality. The guests are their last priority here. The place is beautiful so it’s unfortunate we can’t recommend this place to friends and family. Expedia please warn people before they book or take them off your list.

The property is advertised as 2017 built. That has to be incorrect. It is old, the pool area is very run down and the condo had inadequate supplies for a one week stay with a notice saying don’t call us for supplies (eg toilet paper). The gym had a time restriction and no more than 4 people total. There is no housekeeping for a one week stay. The ad said self park, it’s only valet. Too many issues. I left within an hour and went to another hotel.

The property was in a great, not-so busy area of Miami Beach 1 block from Walgreens and a nice big grocery store. Valet parking was a part of the fee but your guest must Zelle $20 (or cash). They charge $5 to receive any packages - my luggage broke so I had to buy a new one on Amazon. I loved the gym, gameroom, balcony and mattress. Lots of extra towels, blankets, toilet paper, trash bags, dish detergent and laundry detergent so they cater to more people seeking a real apartment experience. There is no room service at all - no one to clean, add or remove anything during your stay. You must dispose of your own trash and full washer and dryer. The wrist band is for the beach chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 pools - quiet pool on the first floor and more family friendly on the 5th floor with a large hot tub. You must use a special key fob to access any elevator, Beach door, etc. lots of free water, coffee and snacks in the room. 3 elevators. I was very disappointed in the WiFi - very spotty and never consistent even with the 9 hotspots they offered. Also, I could never get consistent hot water which was so unfortunate. The shower head and spa hot tub on 5th floor had rust. The patio furniture in the room is very squeaky so you will hear your neighbors moving around when you’re inside. They are strict (and aggressive) on 11am check-out. They knocked on door at 11:02am, called my room and personal phone from 11:03-11:10. I checked out at 11:15am geez. No grace period.

Perfect Miami Beach vacation

We booked 4 nights at this property for our Miami vacation. Everything about this stay was fantastic. We arrived super early in the morning and the property manager let us early checkin at 8 am without addition cost, this was such a great relief as we were able to sleep a bit before getting started with our vacation.
We had a city view apartment with a small balcony with peek a boo ocean views, it was quiet, clean and had everything we needed for our vacation.
Fully equipped kitchen, in unit washer n dryer, bath n beach towels, you name it and we had it. We were gifted with a nice bottle of Pinot with 2 water bottles and bag of Milano cookies, it was such a nice gesture.
We were at 5th floor right, which is super convenient location to access game room, gym and 5th level pool and jacuzzi. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi and amazing ocean views from the jacuzzi.
Hotel provides free of charge beach chairs and umbrella which was an added perk for comfortable stay.
Overall we were super happy and highly satisfied with our stay and any help needed during our stay.
The only issue I would say is the heater didn’t work which made the unit super cold, it just happened to be the coldest day cause of bomb cyclone, but we were given extra blankets right away, that helped a lot.
I would highly recommend this property for family vacation!
