The property is hidden , it’s hard to find . No place to park to upload and load your luggage. You have to go for breakfast to the other property so we decide to go to other restaurants. Parking was hustle , I have to go daily to the front desk to pay each day individually . Will be smart if they do that . I been to several Pestana on the island , pestana fishermen village as well . They need some help with common sense regard design hotels .

Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building between those hours. Also, the locks on the door of the room did not have the “latch type” lock. It was locked by the normal card access lock and a dead bolt, but in a hotel I like having that latch on the door to feel safer. Would recommend and stay again!

Really nice room with very comfy bed, good shower, convenient little kitchenette, nice balcony, very very tidy. Pool looked pleasant but we didn't use as we had free use of the pools and spa at the sister hotel immediately next door (which is a very swanky hotel with amazing interiors). Conveniently located nearby to the town and also near the hotel district with it's good selection of restaurants, also near the bus stops for the airport and tours around the island. Nice helpful staff also who helped answer any questions.

I was freezing in the bedroom, the AC didn’t work and the duvets were not warm enough. A couple of days during the stay, they missed cleaning my room and had to chase them. Doors were left open wgilst the cleaning staff was around and because weather wasn’t great it got really cold.

Fantastic place if you get a high floor looking towards the town. We had probably the best room #6013.

Pool is small, but well located on the south side of the building. We were turned off by the 5* parent hotel next door - cold and featureless, Absolutely no character. The indoor heated pool next door is free to use but is a long way to get to, in the hotel basement, but is useless for swimming in
The town is just ten minutes stroll down the hill. Plenty of buses to/from the town (and the Aerobus from the airport (5 euros pp, ask for the Casino stop) stop right outside, including the open topped tourist bus

Only 2 years old so rooms in a good condition...unfortunately it is a bit noisy sitting on the balconies.. we did ask to be moved and the young lady on reception was so helpful and we ended with a room on the ground floor facing the swimming pool. This was a lovely room. A very nice clean apartment. Wonderfully comfortable bed, large tv, good size bathroom. Not much room for storing clothes tho. Only real gripe would be that self catering facilities very poor, 3 mugs, 3 glasses, 3 set of cutlery only. One pan and 1 small frying pan. Not much room to cook food. No wine glasses. Hotel need to think about improving this part of the service. Apartment in a good position for getting out and about. Had a really nice stay.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Besonders angenehm war die Möglichkeit, den Spa-Bereich und die Pools im Nachbarhotel mitzunutzen. Dort konnten wir wunderbar entspannen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Madeira zu entdecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es gibt ein Pool direkt am Hotel, zwei weitere und ein Indoorpool gibt es nebenan im Casino Park Hotel, die ebenso wie der dortige Speisesaal mitgenutzt werden kann. Die Zimmer sind sauber, freundliches hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption. Kleine Kritik an dem Design der Zimmer, aber das ist ja immer Geschmacksache.

Un séjour agréable, notre chambre était simpliste mais mignonne. Il aurait pu y avoir plus de commodité tel qu’une machine à café mais rien de majeur. Très propre, le service était impeccable. A distance à pied moins de 15 minutes des restaurants et autre attraction de Funchal. Un stationnement est disponible au casinos et il n’est pas dispendieux. Très beau séjour!

La chambre/studio était spacieuse et très bien décorée. Le personnel était sympathique et la petite kitchenette avait exactement ce qu'il fallait pour préparer petit déjeuner et des pique-nique pour randonner. Les petits points négatifs sont le bruit de la route : avec la fenêtre fermée ça va, mais impossible de dormir la fenêtre ouverte; le parking à €6.30 dès 4h30 de stationnement et le fait qu'ils ne donnent pas de torchon pour la vaisselle.

Mein Aufenthalt im Pestana Casino Studio war wundervoll. Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, geruchsneutral und ein schöner Ausblick. Die veröffentlichten Fotos entsprachen zu 100 Prozent überein. Überrascht war ich von der kleinen Kochnische, die selbst neben allen benötigten Koch- und Geschirrutensilien, sogar ein Kit mit Schwamm, Tischlappen, Spülmittel ect. enthielt!!!
Das Badezimmer, sehr sauber, wartet mit allem auf, was der Gast benötigt. Jeden Tag frische Handtücher, Shampoo, Duschhaube, Duschgel, Haartrockner, Einwegrasierer.
Das Beste zum Schluss: Die Gäste der Pestana Casino Studios können alle Annehmlichkeiten des gegenüberliegenden Casino Park Hotels mit benutzen. Restaurants, Badelandschaft, Jacuzzi, Spielezimmer, Fitnessstudio, Bars usw.
