AC kept the room cool when we couldn't open the balcony doors because of mosquitoes. right off İstiklal street, which has all the shopping you could need, from sweet treats to clothes to street food. the hotel's cafe was the best thing - excellently presented and tasting food and drinks every time. the service overall was excellent and the cat was the cherry on top. nice and clean as well.

Overall it is the perfect place to stay! Houston and the other Manager on duty were very kind and professional, always making sure we were doing ok. The staff in the hotels cozy cafe downstairs were awesome! Love that noise from cafe downstairs and restaurants next door ends at 12am. For convenience to Main Street Istikal and to trams to get to other side it was so easy for us to get around. It’s a safe area. If you’re looking for a budget friendly hotel, I highly recommend Nexthouse Pera. You get to experience real life in Turkey as a lot of locals frequent the cafe and restaurant so I got to see the culture and customs play out. The housekeeper at this hotel is sooo good she is professional and does a really good job cleaning rooms everyday. If you don’t mind the noise below, the first floor is ok, that’s where we stayed - otherwise request a room on the higher floors . All in all, if it’s your first time in Istanbul, this place felt safe and homey for me. Thank you Housein and the other manager for your lovely hospitality and friendship, and to your amazing staff both in hotel and cafe.

Nexthouse Pera is perfectly located in Beyoglu district and just off Istiklal Ave. so there are hundreds of shops, eateries cafes and restaurant immediately within the vicinity so expect a hustle and bustle all hours. We literally walked everywhere this side of the river especially Galata Tower was only a few mins walk away which is important as traffic and taxis are terrible in the city. The room was good size with a comfortable bed and housekeeping was very good. There is a smart TV so kept the little one entertained with YouTube. The staff are very attentive especially Husni at the front desk helped me with a lot of queries and where to find the best places on our exploration. The one thing I would say however is the lift is quite small so a pushchair was a squeeze. Nevertheless the price, and location made it feel insignificant. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Nice boutique hotel in perfect location off Istiklal Caddessi. Exactly like the pictures shows on Hotels. Com. Clean and tastefully decorated.
Room has everything you need and is cleaned daily. No breakfast offered but no problem, lots of restaurants and coffee shops around.
The best part of this hotel was the friendly staff. We felt at home and taken care of. Husnu, the guy at reception was super helpful and always a smile on his face and ready to help. Noisy area, but we new that from a previous visit. The entire Beyoglu and Taksim area is noisy. We definitely recommend Nexthouse Pera Hotel.

Great hotel right in the middle of the city. The guys were really hospitable and the value for money was incredible. There is a lovely little cafe downstairs where you can relax at anytime with classic Turkish coffees and teas and chat with the locals.

I had a friend visiting at the same time who stayed in a different hotel and was amazed at the convenience of where I was.

The bed was really comfortable and, one of the more important things, the shower was powerful and warm. You also get a little balcony on all floors apart from the 6th.

I pretty much walked everywhere, but would recommend the public transport pass for those that want to visit Sultanahmet as the hotel is about 5 mins walk from a number of major stations too.

Nexthouse Pera is a comfortable, reasonably priced boutique hotel in a good location. The bed is comfy, the shower is excellent (very good hot water pressure), and the rooms is well appointed. Service was friendly.

A couple of warnings: The hotel is around the corner from one of the busiest pedestrian streets in Istanbul, so there can be a little noise at times. (Though not enough to be a bother.) The hotel can be hard to find; the signage is small. And they do not accept American Express as payment.

While there was a little trouble finding this cozy building (there is a cafe attached, on the right as you head up the ally) we were quickly impressed with the polite professional manner, excellent English, and helpfulness of the staff.

We were looking forward to going out that night but the soft beds nearly seduced us from our festivities. Fortunately the lively sounds drifting up from the street once we opened the window beckoned us back to the full life of Istanbul occurring right outside the building.

A beautiful place worth staying in if you want to enjoy the full forced beat of the city's heart.

The hotel was a bit difficult to find as it's carefully tucked away into a side alley with a sign that isn't very prominent. Check-in was easy and I was happy to discover the air conditioning in the room worked very well, however the bathroom had not been properly cleaned and it didn't look like anyone had been in since the previous guest as some of the provided toiletries looked used. The shower had dirt stains allover the glass and the towels were dingy, luckily I was only here for two nights so I disregarded it as I didn't want to deal with finding new accommodation. Overall, I'd suggest looking elsewhere as my biggest priority when staying somewhere is cleanliness and this hotel failed to deliver that.

Check in was like a scene out of taken, I felt like I was interrupting some sort of low key ‘social’ event.

The directions on the web page don’t take you to the hotel front door. You have to guess which back alley has the hotel in it. I’m sure it’s charming normally to have to search out your hotel, but not at 10pm after a long flight.

The room was nice but very dirty and tired. (Brown stains on the sheets)

The best l bit of the stay was when the access control beeped and 1am and two people walked into the room? No explanation why! I asked them to leave and then spent the night awake until I could get out of there!

I told reception in the morning what happened, it seemed to have and impact on his English and suddenly he couldn’t understand a word I was saying.

My advice would be to avoid this hotel at all costs. I’m sure once it was pleasant, but not now.

I paid £34 for the room but it was advertised at £76 (and discounted). You get what you pay for? Unfortunately I didn’t pay the £5

Not what i expected from a 4 start level, very small entrance, breakfast in the little coffee shop downstairs, they give you a plate of eggs, cheese and continental breakfast - no menu choices. No restaurant in the hotel, but many coffee shops and littel restaurants around in the area. Location is a few steps from Istiklal street a shopping center. It is located in a small alley so the taxi cannot park at the hotel door, you need to walk down the road for 200-300 meters to stop a taxi from the street.

An overnight stay in Istanbul. Arrived late and check-in was quick and efficient. The room itself was quite spacious and comfortable, though the TV was unable to receive a signal and there was no bottled water or tissues available in the room. The problem came the next morning. I was told the previous evening on checking in that breakfast would start at 9 a.m. but when I presented myself at that time was informed that it was late, because of the holiday for Eid and that it would be 20 minutes late. I took myself for a walk and on returning at 9.30 was told that it would be another half hour before someone came to make the breakfast. As I had to leave at 10 to catch a flight, I had to go hungry and have breakfast at the airport. 9 o'clock seems late to start breakfast but to then have it delayed for another hour does not seem acceptable.

Istiklal street is famous with its busy loud streets but once you closed the windows you werent able to hear much of the outside noise.

The NextHouse Pera Hotel is a small boutique hotel with approximately 14 rooms. The rooms appear to be new or newly renovated. The hotel sits in the middle of a narrow alleyway with access from two streets. You need to walk about 100 meters to the hotel. Our driver assisted us with our luggage to the hotel. Check-in was fast and easy. Breakfast was a real winner with eggs, cheeses, olives, breads, coffee, etc. With its middle of Istikal street location you have easy access to the Galata Tower and Taksim Square. There are multiple places to eat with varieties of Turkish and other foods. ATMs are close by as well. I would stay in this location again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Main Street but not too close to hear all of the noise (it did get prett loud on 1 night but that's because someone was playing music right outside our room). Breakfast is very nice and a great way to start the day. The housekeeping was not great as on 2 occasions the trash was not taking out and we did not have all the towels replaced. Overall this was a great hotel because of the location and cozy, clean room. Do not stay here If you're looking for a conceirge service as this is not their strength.

Great Hotel and Excellent Location

If you are thinking of visiting Istanbul and would like to stay in the thick of the New Town, then the Nexthouse Pera Hotel is ideal for both location and incredible hospitality.

Just off the main street, the Istiklal Caddesi, it sits half way between Taksim Square (one end of the busy Istiklal Caddesi) and the other end towards the Tunnel, where the Galata Tower is situated and which is the start of any journey you will need to take whilst touring Istanbul.

The hotel itself whilst is the new kid on the block, having only opened a few months ago yet offers the level of hospitality and service that could easily rival some of the more traditional and well known Pera residences. Between the three main staff who rotated around the 24 hour reception, you always felt well looked after whether you were looking for information on the city before embarking on your journey for the day or if you simply wanted a hot drink to finish your evening whilst in bed.

Even more impressive was the service provided prior to my break where I was continuously furnished with useful information and responses to my endless queries within hours of my emails hitting the hotel’s inbox when preparing an itinerary.

Rigtig dejligt hotel!

Virkelig et skønt ophold hos Nexthouse Pera. Alt var som det skulle være. Rent, hyggeligt og personalet hjælpsomme.
Værelserne var store og der var god opbevaring. Eneste minus var mini køleskabet som ikke fungerede.

Men jeg vil bestemt komme igen og anbefale det. Gutterne som ejede hotellet havde også caféen nedenunder som serverede den bedste morgenmad og kaffe - rigtig hyggeligt sted og område.

Superzentral, direkt an İstiklal Caddessi

Ein einfaches Hotel, das schon in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber sehr zentral an der İstiklal Caddessi. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und erfüllte uns jeden extrawunsch.

Ein kleines aber feines Hotel das uns sehr gefallen hat….Die Betten waren super angenehm….Und das Zimmer war sehr sauber….Wurde täglich gereinigt…Super gelegen für ein Trip in Istanbul…Direkt auf der Istiklal…Somit nahezu alles was man braucht und sehen will fussläufig erreichbar…Metro Station keine 5 Minuten entfernt….Gerne wieder

Keyifli bir konaklama

Tertemiz, konforlu, zevkli döşenmiş odalar. Lokasyon harika. Odada çay, kahve, oda terliği gibi artık pek çok otelde bulamadığımız ikramlar mevcuttu. Personel de son derece kibar ve ilgili. Çok memnun kaldık
