We checked in received our room key. Staff were friendly. However when we went to our room, it hadn’t been cleaned. I spoke to cleaning staff who were cleaning a few rooms up, and they were apologetic, and started on our room.

The property was largely as described however it is old and has had nothing significantly done as far as upgrades. There was no internet reception in the room we stayed. Minor things like the soap dish being smashed and the clothesline being broken made little difference to us but may have a bearing on others. Noise from bathrooms in neighbouring rooms is significant. Some rooms may have memory foam beds although ours didnt.
