It was terrible. I arrived late and they wouldn't let me in and said I'd have to find somewhere else. I had been working 30 mins away all day with no reception. When I arrived at Cessnock at 10pm I had a text and missed call form them. I buzzed the intercom at the front doors and was told that because I missed the 9pm reception that I couldnt stay and would have to fund somewhere else. I've stayed at this hotel half a dozen times when I'm in the hunter for work but never again.

Outdated rooms, huge kettle, remote for air-conditioning/ heater faulty in 3 rooms. The wifi did not work either, could not connect or find the ips address given. It is in a great location, across from shopping precint, the Leagues Club , cafes etc. The Hotel and our room was immaculately clean. We stayed on the first floor, it has lift access. Our king size bed was very comfortable with good pillows. The staff were lovely. It was a very comfortable stay.
