Staff was friendly and attentive. Hotel is very old and was most likely a Super 8 at one time. Some upgrades to rooms have been done but need more work. Bathrooms need remodeling and ac units need updating.

We could not find the remote for the tv. Husband called desk he brought us another one. We pulled back the blankets to go to bed and there was the remote!! So were the sheets even changed?!!!! Or just remade !!! Yuck ! Bathtub wasn’t to clean either. An empty roll of toilet paper left on the roll ( it had like 2 or 3 squares!)

10 minutes from the Dells & an extra quiet town of 10,000 or so
The staff were exceptional as being helpful to 70+ seniors. Breakfast was more than a lot put out with one refilling during the rush.
Within an hour from House on the rock making it a perfect place to stay. They accept dogs for a small fee also a big thing for us. 👍👍definitely

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again. It was easy to find, and it's located right next to Culvers and has other restaurants and other services very near to the property. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions, and when we did have an issue in our room it was taken care of in minutes. The breakfast bar had a nice selection, was well stocked, and very clean. It does have a pool, but we did not use it.

Everything was clean. BUT, our bathroom had an area in it that was evident of a water leak from above. It had a large hole in it to drain the water, I suppose. It wasn't very nice to see. Had trouble connecting to the internet. PW was not working, even after contacting the front desk. Not a great channel selection. Not sports people. We did not do the breakfast, which we were not told about. It was unimpressive. No literature in the room, info for the area, fire exists, recommendations for dinning out and other things.Not overly impressed.

We chose this hotel because we have had good experiences with this brand. This particular one was only rated \"good\", compared to a couple others in the area that were rated higher. And that rating is accurate. Next time I will go with the higher rated ones. The rooms are kinda small, the tub/shower/bathroom is small, the decor is somewhat depressing, and we were not able to get the tv to get to anything other than Disney Jr. The beds are ok, but if you are short like me, you are in for a climb. Standard hotel pillows. The breakfast is ok if you like just the basics. This hotel could be great if they didn't try so hard to penny-pinch.

The front desk staff was amazing. They were just wonderful at check in and it was so easy and they were so friendly. They were very attentive to the breakfast buffet and kept it stocked at all times. As soon as they heard the coffee running out they were there making more coffee. I will say that the breakfast in itself was very mediocre. We chose not to partake on the second day of our stay and was just not very good. The coffee was wonderful. The kids said the pool was very cold. We had four people in our party and everyone complained about the beds and how uncomfortable and hard they were. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the money that we paid.

After requesting a room change, the second accommodation was marginally better, but my overall experience remained disappointing. My stay was disrupted by groups of guests speaking foreign languages who propped open their doors while drinking in the hallways, creating an uncomfortable environment. Additionally, the property shows clear signs of neglect and inadequate maintenance—the bathroom exhaust fan was excessively noisy and dust-covered, while the electrical outlets were visibly yellowed, faded, and accumulated with grime. This establishment urgently requires renovation and improved management oversight.\"

The towel rack in the bathroom was not screwed in correctly. I don’t know what time breakfast started at but it was not ready before 7am. I think the pool and hot tub should be cleaned but it wasn’t filthy. The staff are very nice and friendly. The front reception guy is helpful. Very nice family. Everything was pretty nice. The rooms were relatively quiet, although a slight gap in the door let in sounds from the hallway. The food was okay. We opened the window when we first got there, because the previous occupant obviously was smoking in a non smoking room.

Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again. The tv in our room didn't work and the people above us were loud. Neither of which was a deal breaker, it was an overnight stay, not a resort. Lots of great places to eat very nearby, including a Culver's across the parking lot. Kwik Trip down the street. Continuous guest at the property. The owners are wonderful. The front desk check in is easy, quick, and efficient. The hotel itself is clean. They replaced all beds recently and upgraded the hotel rooms. Only downfall is quality of items within the room. Depending on the room I get for the week, it has been noted to have towel racks hanging out of the wall by one side, leaking shower faucet, new blinds are falling apart, and a musty old smoke smell. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that the smell can bed removed relating to the age of the building. Overall though, any issues that have been noted always are addressed. Safe, clean, comfortable, and affordable.

Need to turn on all the lights in the parking. One side next to Culver’s we’re not on. Our bedroom needed a thorough dusting behind the easy chair. Handle in shower needs to be replaced. You shouldn’t be able to go to hot both ways. And then it’s hard to get water to completely stop dripping. Toilet isn’t attached to the floor very well & moves. Toilet seat also needs to be tightened.
Being in the pet friendly room ( which I thoroughly loved) it had no carpeting which is much better than carpets that could be dirty, the door allowed light from the hallway to enter all night from hallway. Safety bar on door didn’t secure anything as door lock has been changed & it had nothing to lock onto.
Did appreciate the new front doors being installed & the front desk managers were great. I really appreciated the help we had with checking in @ night. Great guy.
Would’ve been nice to have liquid cream with coffee, as the powdered type has lots of chemicals. They do make creams in small servings that do not need refrigeration. Not flavored ones( just a suggestion). Didn’t have time to appreciate the pool, but it looked great. Was a nice stay, but our room wasn’t that quiet with the door not reaching the floor. And it was advertised as new sound proofing. Heard everything in the hallway as people walked by, but didn’t hear our neighbors.

The hotel was in a really good convenient area. A Culver’s restaurant across the parking lot was very handy. Room was a good size and in good repair. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was accommodating and breakfast was very good. Love the indoor pool and spa. Hotel was dog friendly. Would recommend to family and friends. Was about 12 miles to Wisconsin dells, and Baraboo Wisconsin.

We were meeting family there for 2 night stay. Front desk guy was very helpful and tried to help with everything.

Hot tub was quite cold. Front desk guy tried to adjust temp on Fri evening, was still cold Sat.(80 degrees, almost same as pool.)

Also while we were gone Sat, room was not cleaned. Beds weren't made, no clean towels. Again front desk guy was helpful, switched out towels and took dirty ones.

Another patron warned us regarding safety. She saw some homeless people in parking lot who were living in a van. We had small children with us, didn't want anything to happen to them.

Also bathroom door was sticking at top. I couldn't push it open and fell on slippery wet floor. Informed be desk guy, he nodded his head. I have large bruise on back of my leg, am glad I wasn't hurt worse.

We felt this property was much better than the other Wyndham option in Reedsburg. Very well taken care and an excellent breakfast. Pets are allowed. On the not so great side, my husband would have like a grab bar in the shower and it was difficult to reach anyone by phone when setting up the reservations.

Breakfast was just depressing. The pool area was dirty so we didn’t use it. It seems like the staff and their families live in the hotel. We had a two night booking, but left after the first night. Would appreciate a refund for the second night.
