We had a King standard room which had a balcony which was a nice surprise. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but very clean and looked like a brand new room. The bed was perfect, not too firm or too soft. It had all the standard amenities and the pillows were perfection. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. As with any hotel I stay in I wish they had an adult only swim time for the pool area. There were many young kids in the hot tub so it made it hard to enjoy. The attached restaurant was very nice, a little pricey and it also meant there was no free breakfast. Overall the hotel/restaurant/bar was beautifully designed. I will definitely be staying again when in the Dells.

We have stayed here a few times in the past and the renovations to The Wisconsin Hotel, formerly the Wintergreen, are great! Staff were welcoming and appeared invested in giving us a great experience. Room was clean, spacious, quiet, and nicely appointed with high quality furnishings. Beds were comfortable and supportive and it was amazing to have a room specifically set up to accommodate families of 5, like ours. Our kids (ages 8, 5 & 5) loved the indoor pool and children's water play area, which have been refreshed. We'll definitely be back!

Having kids, there really isn't common area space where they could gather to play cards, or hang out other than the main lobby. It would be great to set up some tables and chairs in another area (outside of the pool area) where larger families with multiple rooms can enjoy time together. We did play games in the lobby on some small coffee tables, but just feel like there could be another space dedicated for people to drink coffee, and catch up. Pool area is clean and looks nice, waterslide, wading pool, hot tub and separate pool available. Looking forward to the restaurant opening!

We were in the dells for one night and chose this hotel due to proximity to Mirror lake and Ishnala. The hotel has undergone a recent complete renovation. They are still working on completing some areas including the restaurant, bar and event spaces. We took a sneak peak. It’s beautiful… Indoor pool/hot tub area is open and looks nice. Room updated, clean, comfortable. Two sinks with mirrors made getting ready for the day convenient. Balcony with chairs and a table was an unexpected amenity. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Lobby is super cute and inviting.
