They had a really small fitness room with really old equipment in there. The treadmill was actually out of order. The breakfast was horrible. It's a problem when you have to find breakfast elsewhere and go to another hotel nearby to use their amenities. It was very disappointing, I will not be staying here again.

Our hotel room was very nice, the front desk staff were very friendly, the housekeeping staff not as much i asked to have our room vacuumed since i have small children and she wanted to hand me the vacuum so i could do it myself . The pool is beautiful but was super cold to the touch and the hot tub heater did not work, so that was a big downside we were excited about the pool but we didn’t go once since it was freezing. The breakfast was ok

Everything was wonderful! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, loved the pillows! Hot tub was clean and hot, pools were clean and warm and there were plenty of towels. Everyone in the staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of options and it was good. They even have good coffee!

First even though they told me the waterpark was included, at they front desk they informed me I needed to pay the fee resort separately from what they say the booking for two nights were going to cost. That ruined my plans for the vacations.

Second, the breakfast was poor, crowded and the place designed for that, was extremely little. We sat at the table near the door (the only one available) and we were freezing because everytime some one came in or went out all the cold came from outside.

Thirdly, there was no soap at the room and instead of refilling the bottles, they gave us soap bars, also when we ask for new towels, they told us we needed to bring the dirty towels to the front desk in order to get new ones. Poor service and inconvenient.

The room itself was generally okay, without any complaints, but the service and breakfast left much to be desired. This is the first time I've encountered a situation where none of the rooms were ready before check-in time. I understand that check-in starts at 4 pm, but I can't believe that not a single room was ready before 4 pm. When I asked if my room was ready, I immediately received a \"no\" answer, but the girl didn't even look at the computer or ask for my name; the answer was simply \"no\" from the start.
The breakfast was terrible; everything was cold, the eggs were cold, and when I tried to make bagels, the dough stuck to the machine.
I do not recommend this hotel; it's better to stay somewhere else nearby.

The whirlpool and pool heater broke. Had to go to another hotel to swim or use the hot tub do i spentvover $200 to watch movies in my hotel room. Audrey eas extremely nice but the young white girl atvthe front desk when we checked out on the 27th was just making excuses for the horrible breakfasts food., the non working hot tub and pool and non of the excersize equipment worked. The french toast on the 26th was as hard as a rock and the eggs and saud were ice

We reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights for a family outing. We packed up and left at 330am the first night. A large group who reserved majority of hotel were very disrespctful and staff did nothing to control it. The lobby and both upper floors dmrlt strongly of pot. The groups congregated in the halls.... being loud.... screaming kids.... pounding on our door and barking dogs. My daughter with a 4 yr lld and 1.5 yr old did not feel safe and when the rucus woke th kids up at 3am.... we packed up and left. Thd manager at front desk was nothing short of rude. Hos comment \" You can call jesus...you wont get a refjnd\". Is totalky rediculous. We spent 6 hours in our rooms. Didng get to.use the pool snd it ruined a great trip planned. I will never stay here again. They let large groups run the llace and total.disregard to.other guests.

When booking on expedia, the hotel stated that waterpark tickets were included in the price. When we asked about this, i was told they were $21 more a day to go. I was offered to sit through a time share to get free tickets. Very frustrating as i would have booked the Aloha where we had a wonderful room at 2 months prior.

When we got into our room, the tv was tilted 25 degrees or so. I filled out the how is your room form. I put a comment about the tv and within 5 minutes had a worker asking to come in the room. Good and bad, I thought he was going to cause the tv to fall. It was annoying because i wanted to be able to relax and would have preferred a more hone call. Tv was not fixed.

Breakfast was good but the staff did not know how to handle a full hotel. We did not eat the breakfast the last night because of the staff being frustrated with other family's kids. The second day, we took our breakfast back to the room.

Front desk staff was not professional at all. We found a not so pleasant surprise on our balcony and not only did it take the gentleman over 3 hours to take care of it, but instead of saying I’m so sorry we’ll be right in to take care of it, he responded with swear words and told us to just clean it up and throw it in a garbage bag. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Everything was great. Two things I didn't like,.. and these are minor. (1) the biscuits were harder than rocks (biscuits and gravy), and (2) I really didn't want the pitch on the coupon thing in the Dells. I just want to check in and not be accosted through clever, clandestine sales tactics to get me to listen to a spiel about this offer for only $40. Don't care. That's a waste of my time. So don't do that.

Staff here were fantastic. The facility itself is a bit bare bones and rooms are superficially clean. Floors are sticky/dirty and the soap/shampoo/conditioner are not refilled at each clean (ours had about a tablespoon total). Cleaning staff also bangs the doors to rooms continually in the afternoon so beware of you want a nap or have young children. Breakfast buffet is chaotic - many things not replenished and food is crammed in with tables making traffic a nightmare. Pool area is nice.

Each year I return to the Dells to visit dear friends in cold places. I routinely use AmericInn in the Dells. They are consistently of good quality at much lest cost than the resorts in town and do not try to add on costs with no guest benefit such as charging for parking where parking was once free. The location is consistently clean, friendly and helpful. The have a great bar/lounge/game area I use with friend for Packers games when I am up. The location is perfect for getting to the upper Dells but avoiding the chaos of staying \"in the Dells\". Quick access to Baraboo, parks, Lyndon Station, Mauston (Carr Valley Cheese - people - this is Wisconsin). Formerly being a resident of the Dells I can attest to resorts and many hotels. This one is a consistent solid performer for a visit. If you have tons of cash, never want to leave a property and have small kids - Great Wolf Lodge, If you have teens - Kalahari. If you like a pool, nice room, like to check out the dells entertainment, nearby parks and hiking trails, restaurants, and want a solid performing hotel; then AmericInn is a great place. I have tried several but always come back to AmericInn. In fact, I am done trying elsewhere. Who's your daddy? AmericInn.

There were some issues, the bedding was stained, the toilet seat and lock on the door were broken, and there was not black out curtain, so the outside parking lights shone through the window. I stayed last year and loved it, but this year was a little disappointing. All in all, not a bad hotel for the price, but there needs to be detail given to the cleanliness. And also to be a little less stingy with giving extra bedding and towels.

It could have been better.

The hotel was nice enough, the room smelled a little musty but it was clean. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the continental breakfast was above standard, it was very nice. My only complaint was the staff was unfriendly, rude, not professional, unhelpful and seemed like they just didn't want to help. It felt like a bother to ask for any help from the staff. This place could be so much better if it had a different staff. I just didn't appreciate the staff. Kudos to the cleaners, the entire hotel was clean.
