The drinks and food are crazy overpriced. Paid $20 for a pina colada. I'm not kidding you $20! Eat dinner at this woodfire grill that's supposed to be there \"fancy restaurant\" it was not fancy the food was terrible. The serving staff, the blessing staff, the hostess, the kitchen staff, and the manager of the restaurant all seemed like they had no idea what was going on. We ordered an appetizer and it didn't come until it was time for us to pay and leave. The appetizer we ordered was the pork belly, which we asked about when we received our food having not received our appetizer yet, they replied that it was not done. Then when they brought it out when we're ready to leave it was overcooked dried out and terrible. The one good food that we had there was the breakfast, however we were also lied to about that. We were told that it would be a buffet and that it was all you can eat take it up to your room you pay $20 per person and you can eat as much as you want if you take it up to your room come back and get more.. it is not a buffet I was cooked to order and it's only all you can eat if you sit in the restaurant. The rooms are horribly outdated and not very clean. There was a few different small broken things in the room like crack broken tiles in the bathroom that you could cut your foot on. All of the tables look like they were over 20 years old and in really bad shape. I will not go there again and I will not recommend it to anyone!

Rooms are not cleaned during a guest’s stay, which means that many maintenance and cleanliness issues go unnoticed by the housekeeping staff.
In room 260, the refrigerator door seal is hanging loose, causing the refrigerator to leak. The shampoo dispenser was empty upon arrival. The patio door lock is broken, and a metal rod is being used to keep the door closed.
In addition, I found the top portion of a young girl's swimsuit between the bed sheets, which indicates that the bedding may not have been properly inspected or changed. I also requested an iron and was provided with one that did not work.
Finally, parking is not complimentary and costs $20 per night, which adds to the overall expense of the stay.
Overall, the condition of the room and the lack of attention to maintenance and housekeeping issues made for a disappointing experience.

The only reason you're going to this property is to be at the water park. Well the indoor water park facilities are extremely dirty. This places have not been cleaned in a very long time. There are enormous brown spots on bottoms of every pool. The outdoor facilities were much cleaner but that pretty much meant that we were confined to those facilities. Because of that the overall value I'm staying at this property seems to be very low. The front desk staff is not very good. The restaurant is fine and the staff at the restaurant is friendly and helpful. But the most overwhelming part of the experience is the very dirty indoor water park facilities.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was not clean when I arrived, and the toilet was absolutely disgusting. I also noticed that the wave pool was not working, which was one of the amenities I was looking forward to using.

The food and beverage service was equally disappointing. I ordered a mojito, but what I received was basically a glass of water with a little rum in it. It was far from what I expected.

I requested that my room be cleaned, but when I returned, it was still dirty. I had to call again before someone finally came and cleaned it properly. While they eventually addressed the issue, it should not have required multiple requests.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the facilities are outdated, and overall the property does not meet the standards I expected.

For comparison, I have stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee, near Chicago, and the difference is remarkable. That property provided a much better experience in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall quality. Unfortunately, this location does not come close to the same standard.

One more thing future guests should be aware of: the hotel charges an additional fee for parking. This was disappointing and is something travelers should keep in mind when considering the total cost of their stay.

Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience, and I will not be staying here again.

TLDR: Reasonable price for a good hotel/waterpark combo, good nearby amenities, very family friendly experience. The beds suck!

The bad: Parking fee. This should be included in the pricing of the room, and with all the parking and space there was no need for a $20 a day parking fee, especially since it wasn't advertised as needed. I dislike hidden fees and this was one.
The beds suck. I am used to small and moderately uncomfortable beds in a hotel, but the headboards on these bad boys ruined the room for me. They are rough hewn \"timber\" style headboards that prevent you from sitting against them meaning you can't sleep inclined, and they were splintery meaning if you got too close you could get cut or splinters: got a minor bleeder on my hand in my sleep, was terrible.

The good: the in house water park IS part of your stay price, and has several good slides and multiple pool activities. It isn't the best in the Dells, but it was more than enough for the kids and wasn't an additional cost.
Nearby shopping, dining, and lounges make for easy walking without the need for more travel.
Close to the downtown Dells area, meaning a short car ride has you accessing all the area has to offer.

Warning: Tourist pricing is real, and the cost of playing in this area is more than you will expect if you are coming from a more modest cost of living area.

This was our first time staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. The room was nice and clean. Plenty of extra blankets,towels and pillows. The Waterpark was full. alot of kids the weekend we stayed due to Tournaments going on. So we didnt get a chance to go into the water park due to it being full with kids. All good though it happens. We were charged for parking which I had no idea. They have a huge parking lot not sure why that was an additional charge. It's right on their property. Wish check in was sooner then 4pm it takes up half your day by the time you check in your day is almost over especially if you are staying for only one night. Hard to squeeze everything in. Other than those two issues it is still a good place to go with kids.

They gave us a room that maintenance was actively working on. The A/C unit was torn apart and the dresser drawers were scattered around the room. They did get us a new room but we had already unloaded all of our belongings and had to move all of our stuff to the opposite side of the hotel. Which is a lot of stuff when you have a 2 year old.

Many of the activities seem to be for younger kids I have two 14-year-olds and really the only thing interesting to them was the arcade or swimming. I hate that the pool closed so early by 8:00. With as much as there is to do in the dells by the time we got back to the hotel we only had about an hour to swim. And other than the jacuzzi area there was no adult area without kids.

What was supposed to be a weekend trip for my daughter’s 7th birthday left me with a horrible experience at this hotel. I had booked this trip a month in advance so of course I have no control of the weather. My kids and I took the train here and there ended up being a winter storm warning for Wisconsin so our train for the 15th ended up being cancelled. I ended up having to book a greyhound back die that same day but again it was cancelled due to the winter storm. Because of that then the greyhound only gave us an option of returning on the last bus on the 14th which I had to took because I couldn’t afford to be stock in the dells for an extra day 2 with all the other trains and buses being cancelled for the next 2 days. I tried to explain this to the hotel and asked if they could even give me some type of credit because he had to check out on the 14th instead of the 15th even though I paid for through the 15th. I would have loved to come back again once the weather was better so I was even willing to do some type of credit because I really wanted to bring my kids back. But they refused and I tried to go through Hotels.com and they agreed to refund for the extra day but said they needed the hotels approval and they tried to call several times and got to response. When I tried to talk to the manager he was very rude and talked to me so disrespectful in front on my 4 and 6 year old that they begged for us to just leave. $900 plus hundreds spent there down the drain

Overall it gets a qualified OK. Rooms were clean but no daily service. Water park crowded but not too awful. Hot tubs were a mess. Family one was the size of a very small pool and overcrowded. Build more. Adult one was luke warm and jets were not working well. More of a simmer tub. Price was very high but knew that based on it being Christmas break. But they actually charged a daily to park. Hey, this isn't Vegas. Food adequate at the restaurants. Did dinner one night but the offerings were rather boring and not very tasty. Did a family breakfast but although the menu said eggs to order available, they didn't offer. Waiter did not speak English well and tried hard but was struggling. So. Would I go again? No. Always wanted to try this park but left with an Ok time. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Rooms get no daily service. Not even towel service. Had to find ask a staff cleaner for extra toilet paper. Hey, 3 people need more than one roll for a two-night stay. It was nicer than Olympus but barely. Next time I'll try a competitor. Local Denny's had a much better breakfast and local bar/restaurant called Bobbers Island Grill was surprisingly good. Better than the hotel restaurant and no more expensive. Kids loved the Gator bites. Hotel had lots of activities for little kids but really nothing out for teens and young adultsf except their small arcade. They had some sort of wizard wand thing but it was unbelievably expensive.

The hotel was nice, room clean, water park was nice and clean as well . Temperature was good except in one section of the water park. It had all the splash pads- water was freezing…
Check in was mad crazy. Waited in line about 45~ min . The receptionist was very polite and helpful.
Even helped out my friend who had pre-checked in and use the machine to get her room. The machine does not give you a parking ticket.
We really did not eat at the restaurants so can’t speak as much about that. We did eat at the snack/restaurant in the waterpark area and the food was OK.. overall it was nice place for the price kids had fun and enjoyed their time
