Hotel is closed for season, upon arrival we were directed to a sister hotel. Original room was dirty and smelt horribly. In order to get a clean room we were charged and additional fee per night. The new hotel is also not ASA compliant, as most halls had stairs that you could not avoid

As soon on entering the room, I turned on the lights and roaches scattered. I had the room key in my hand and I smashed it with the room key. I took a picture of it and I am going to try and submit it. Also, when I say scattered I mean at least 50 scattered. The place is infested.

The facility is fairly dumpy. Smallest TV I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Toilet and shower area is only slightly larger than what you get on a cruise ship. There is 8’ between the two beds. The bathroom could have easily been made larger. I will not be back.

The only thing was we couldn’t enjoy the water park area. The hot tub was full of little kids jumping into it. And no rules seemed to be followed. Might as well not have life guards on site. The second night was worse we spent about 5 minutes in there before we had to leave due to the smell of marijuana. The 3rd night we didn’t even bother to go back.

The hotel was disgusting, the beds were absolutely terrible, most all the outlets didn’t work, the fridge didn't work, we had no hot water and the AC/heat sounded like chewbacca when it would turn on! Also, we were given 3, yes three rooms, these problems were in ALL OF THEM! the elevator didn’t work the hotel stunk like bad weed and cigarettes.

We weren’t impressed. Although the price did indeed reflect the property I was disappointed in the customer service. The water in the waterpark was so cold you couldn’t even go in it. The “hot” tub was like warm. I mentioned it and I’m pretty sure no one spoke English. The TV didn’t work. The WiFi was spotty if that. I think next time I will pay the extra money for a better experience.

Hotel was clean and spacious the front desk lady was courteous. With having an indoor pool and calling it a resort I thought they would have a washer and dryer available to use even it was a pay to wash and dry. They didn’t offer an onsite cafe or cafeteria with venting machines.

The room was very clean. They get points for that. The bed was very soft. The big problem was we had no TV for our downtime. We did have very small TV in the room... maybe 32 \" at best. ...not nearly big enough for the two beds to see to begin with.They only had Roku so if you don't stream from home you can't watch anything...the problem for us though was that their Internet was too weak for streaming at all. I'm not sure why they call it the Polynesian as their was literally no theme at all except a pillar outside and a giant pile of rocks in the lobby. The grass by the room entrances needed to be mowed and we were charged $20 for a resort fee when we didn't even use the pool.
We dealt with it ,but will never go back. It's 2025...update your wifi.

The room smelled so bad when we got in there that i requested a different so but then when we walked in the new room it had the same smell and realized it was the whole.building. thinking maybe it was mold because a chair visibly had mold on it. Then the TV didnt work because their internet sucks we had to use out hotspot. Then simply becauae we had no choice we extended the room but the manager came and kicked us out saying it smelled like marijuana which was a lie because we didnt have any. We had to spray perfume to cover up the nasty room smell. I'll never stay there again.

I had to pay a 50 dollar security deposit and an extra 20 dollars so my son could use the pool with our stay. The pool was suppose to be included with the stay of the price that was on here when i booked it. Then on top of that toliet paper holder in bathroom comes right out of wall not screwed in wall at all. I also couldnt take a shower due to the shower head leaked bad and there was no pressure really and also the shower head wouldnt stay up for people that are tall. So therefore i couldnt shower there on my stay.

Overall it was okay, not great. The outside looked pretty rundown, and the inside hallways as well. The rooms themselves weren't terrible, but half of our lights and outlets in the bedroom didn't work. Also, they didn't have posted hours for the pools, and when asked, they didn't open the pool until after checkout time, which kind of seemed like a money grab to get an extra $20 for late check out in order to use the facilities. I would not come back, but it wasn't the worst experience I ever had. The staff was pleasant enough.

We could not believe the run down state this hotel is. As soon as we arrive it looked like an abandoned place. The grass growing through the cement in the parking lot!!! We thought we were at the wrong place. Entrances, stairs, hallways, rooms in poor condition. We would have left but unfortunately we had paid. A total fiasco!! We can tell this hotel will go out of business anytime. If you ever watched the movie \"Barton Fink\" the Polynesian is the perfect representation.

The outdoor pools were shut down without any notice. It definitely threw a wrench in our R&R plans. One of the entry doors glass panes were shattered and being held together with tape. Outdoor garbages were overflowing on arrival and bags never replaced. Just appeared to be overall a run down property that charges you a steep Resort Fee. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

We found a deal for this hotel that was too good to be true, and boy, was it ever. For background, the hotel texts you when you book the room asking that you to check in online & text their number if you need anything.

We chose this property for beautiful pictures of their outdoor pool and a fun indoor water park for our 3 year old to enjoy. What we were not told at booking OR when I went to the desk for our room keys is that the pools are CLOSED. We found this information out from other guests as we roamed the building looking for the pool.

I texted the number provided for confirmation that the pools were closed, but received no response. Why pay a $20 a day resort fee for a stay in an empty, rundown building with no amenities?

My family is very disappointed, and would not recommend wasting time or money here.

This Hotel should not even be open!!! This was supposed to be an end of summer /back to school 3 day Vacation for myself and my 4 grandsons ages 4-12..it turned into a nightmare. When we first pulled up we came up the back road and it looked like a waterpark that had been abandoned for 10 years. Filthy. Piles of flies and dead spiders in the windows sills in the indoor water park. The chair in our room looked like 100's of people had wiped their dirty hands on it to clean them. The weeds! Every where! No vending anywhere on property. There were no other guests to been seen anywhere at 4:00 in the afternoon. Notes on patio doors to deck off our room if we open them we would be charged a $100. Water dripping from fridge. T.V.'s all fuzzy and 1 did not work at all. Lazy river closed. Looks NOTHING like the pictures on line. There is 1 water slide in the small indoor area. Many of the pool areas outside have been filled in with dirt and growing weeds. Water park was not to open until noon our first morning there. Was told they were closed for maintenance. In tears I had enough and found another hotel for the remainder of our time. By the time we were told pools were closed and packed and moved half our only whole day in the dells was over

The parking lot was poorly maintained, the landscaping was neglected, the outdoor pools pictured on the website were closed. Staff was friendly and helpful but the hotel and grounds were outdated and in disrepair. Walpaper peeling everywhere, cracks in the windows. Carpet warped and bubbled. Stayed in one of the \"suites\". No cold water in the kitchen, more peeling walpaper and water spots on the ceiling and walls. Bed was comfortable. Outdoor pool was dirty and slimey. Lifeguards not paying attention, most were on their phones. Indoor pool was ok. Pictures on website were definitely misleading.

So dirty, moldy and just plain disgusting. The rooms were OK, beds were clean, but the air condition was broken, making it nearly impossible to sleep on a humid August weekend. They automatically charge a \"resort fee\" for amenities my family couldn't use as they not only appear unsafe and unclean, but are so filled with adults screaming curse words and participating in lewd and uncouth behavior, I would never allow my family to be around that.

The outdoor lazy river was closed, there were multiple old outdoor children’s pools that had been filled in with dirt and planted in (looks tacky, the pool signs are all still around the ground of them) the balcony was inaccessible probably due to the fact it looks ready to rot away, and the beds were really stiff and hurt our backs. it was cheap and well taken care of otherwise, which makes up for most of it.

STOP!! Do not rent these rooms! To start when you walk the halls and look down, the carpets are disgusting and stink. The pictures you see on line are not true, most of the outdoor water park isn't there or not operational. The building hasn't been painted or maintained for years. The grounds around the building and around the outdoor pools have had \"ZERO\" maintenance. The weeds around entire property were over my head at 6'. This place hasn't been cared for in many years. And that doesn't mention the fire alarms going off several times a day! And at checkout there was a \"no give a ---- attitude\" about my complaints. Unless your a \"farm animal\", you will not be comfortable at this so called water resort. The balcony doors cannot be opened as im sure the balconies are not safe to be on. Cannot express enough our disgust with this whole facility. Stay at motel 6 or super 8 and buy a pass for a water park somewhere else. It will be less expensive and a better experience.

Straight out of a horror movie

As soon as i drove on the property, I could tell that the building had not been maintained. The room was not very clean, crumbs under the bedsheets. The shower rod was hanging off of the wall thus making it impossible to shower without the curtain sliding to the middle of the rod. The pool looks nothing like the pictures, one is completely filled in with a fence all around the outside pools with weeds growing everywhere. No waterfall from the rocks or a lazy river. A lot is to be desired for this hotel.

This \"resort\" is a joke!! Things fell off the wall, locks were broken, screen to sliding glass door had holes in it, no cold water in our room, AC leaked and was LOUD! There was NO grounds maintenance. Weeds EVERYWHERE, overgrowth of trees and bushes. When on the deck you were staring at weeds instead of a beautiful outdoor pool area. The outdoor pool: at least two pools filled in with dirt and weeds, lazy river is not used so dont expect to ever use it, kids area is fenced off and not used EVER! The waterfalls in one pool do not work, no bar or food stand ALL FADED AND SHUT DOWN. Inside pool: NOT ENOUGH rafts put out, one slide was shut down, assume ALWAYS down. There is no breakfast but there is a room for it. Not sure what the $20 a day \"resort\" fee was for. Oh, NO microwaves in rooms just one for everyone in the HALLWAY! This place has so much potential if the owners took pride in it. They just want a quick money maker. Stay somewhere else!! Better to stay somewhere that offers FREE attraction tickets!! Very disappointed in the OLD PRE COVID ADVERTISING THIS PLACE PUTS OUT THERE!!!!

Please do not ever recommend this hotel to anyone. To start off, we checked in at 2:30pm and were told to return at 4pm to get our room keys. I returned at 5:30pm and they could not locate my reservation/room. Finally, while the front desk worker was snacking away looking for my room, which i had already paid the resort fee and deposit for, she says, oh ok here are keys and it's in thw back of the building. Well the back of the building has a lot with drunks and crack heads. Most of them staying at the Polynesian. We go tonpur room and put our stuff down. Go out for the night and return at 10pm. I go to get ready for a shower and i lose power to in the entire room! It was awful. And in order to get any light in the room, we could open the blinds that face the back parking lot, but a bunch of drunks were sitting out there and looking into the room. There was no phone in the room! We walked all the way down and around the building to get to the front desk and we finally get the receptionists attention and tell her what's going on and she says she'll get someone to our room soon. We ask what the front desk number is in case we need to call, and she says, just google it. I almost lost it! 18 minutes later, the building maintenance person shows up and he starts flipping breakers for over 15 minutes, and nothing works so he tells us he's going back down to tell the office to get us another room. 10 minutes after that, he comes back up with keys to a suite.the suite was so d

I bet this place was amazing back in its day, however it no longer is. The exterior is in bad shape, rooms are not in good condition, beds are terrible and need to be replaced. The exterior seasonal pool is hidden behind many other over grown and dirty ones. The inside is a far cry from a resort. Tiny lazy river, a couple small slides and a toddler pool. Hot tub jets broken. Safety issues everywhere with bathrooms partially renovated, screws and broken bulb on the ground, tile hanging off the wall. Outdoor pool was closed. Indoor pools only open for short period of time. They are renovating rooms so furniture is out of date. Flooring was nice, no carpet.

The facility should not be considered a \"resort.\" The outdoor water park consisted of an out door pool and A slide. The water was cold and the bottom of the pool was filty. Mutiple areas outside were roped off and closed. The inside pool was advertised and stated in contract at sign in as open from noon to 8. The only thing open at one point was hot tub with kids in it. The slide not open, lazy river ...not open. Lifeguard stating some mumbled excuse either water not warm enough, or not enough lifeguards... this being Aug, summer, in the waterpark capital of the world. The hallways smelled musty. No food on site. No vending machines.
* Warning on patio/balcony door that if opened will be charged $100. Tv with maybe 12 channels. Worst hotel experience if actually expecting a Resort quality hotel.

While the rooms were big, beds were excellent the services were terrible. There was no working phone, we went down to the desk and they said they were in the middle of changes carriers. We couldn’t even call the desk from our cell phones. Had to walk down for anything. One tv didn’t even work. And they offer no cleaning or restocking services between nights. We had one roll of TP for the whole stay, for a suite that could hold 9 people.

Terrible stay

We were five people, three adults, two children, they do not have a microwave in the room. I took two babies and I have to heat their milk. They have a microwave but it is too far from the room. We went to the pool and there is no laundry where I am going to dry my wet clothes. I had to go look for a laundry outside the hotel, waste two hours of my time to dry my clothes. The first day they did not come to clean the room, I had to notify them to go clean the room because they did not have it on the list, the television channels were terrible, all these small things do not make for a comfortable stay. I definitely do not recommend it and I will not return.
