I made a reservation for March 14 . Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst hotel experiences of my life.

The room is extremely dirty, the bed looks unclean, and the air conditioner is in very poor condition. The bathroom is disgusting, with a dirty toilet, a moldy and worn-out shower curtain, and insects present.

This level of hygiene is completely unacceptable, especially for the price paid. A hotel should meet basic standards of cleanliness and safety for guests.

I am very disappointed with this stay and would appreciate Expedia’s assistance in resolving this situation, as the room conditions do not match acceptable hospitality standards.

Broken toilet seat, dead bolt on entry door does not latch. Security latch on entry door was inoperable. Cable tv not working. TV was pulled away from wall mount and propped up on night stand unplugged.
Hallway very dirty. No soap or shampoo. Sofa missing seat cushines.

For the price it was ok. They make sure to show signs of what they will charge if you dont follow their rules thats fine but!!!! They didnt pay me for having to clean,sweep and change the covers sheets cause they did not make sure everything was correct before i checked in. I TOOK PICTURES TO MAKE SURE I DIDNT GET CHARGED FOR THE CONDITION OF THE ROOM.

The room had roaches, filthy floors, no towels at all. The front door to our room had been kicked in while the swing arm was over as an extra security measure. That piece was ripped off and never fixed. The a/c unit had fuzz balls in it showing just how much they care about cleanliness.

I’ll start with the positives air-conditioning was nice and cold in the room and there was hot water. The beds for very saggy pillows were lumpy ironing board was disgusting with stains all over it. Furniture was broken. George didn’t work. A lot of long-term residency seem to be living at the hotel broken down cars in the parking lot. The hotel lobby was closed so nothing like the pictures no continental breakfast nothing the ice machine did work. The pool was only half full of water and closed down.

Checked into 1st room and neither beds made, ooen wayers and soda cans, broken furnature, door looked like police rammed it in. Went back to desk told them what we saw and switched to another room. This appeared to be an upgrade, but serious signs of neglect, paint, holes, patches, sticky floors, fruit flies. Humming refridgerator. If it wasnt 2 a.m., we would have left. Woild never recommend again. Front desk was nice, but that was a scary $130 rest.

There was no check-in desk, only a window, through which we were given two towels and a remote control. In the room, only one lamp worked, only two outlets worked. The sink faucet had no handle. The shower curtain was three feet too short for the tub. There were no washcloths or hand towels. The TV wouldn’t come on, though it was plugged in and there were batteries in the remote. The air conditioner must have had a loose bolt. It sounded like a 747 when it came on. When it wasn’t on, it seemed like there was a royal rumble in the courtyard. The pictures on Expedia were extremely misleading. The whole motel was run down and dirty. The pool enclosure was crumbling. I can’t imagine that anyone would try to use the pool. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel or motel anywhere in the country.

Very disappointed. Room was barely clean. Floor was dirty. Linens were stained. No towels at all. Air condiioner's normal outlet was dead and it was was on an extension cord that kept falling out of the outlet behind the bed. 2 cars in parking lot were on jack stands with 1 missing a wheel and a shattered windshield. We were on a tight schedule, so we ended up buying a set of sheets and blankets at the store to get by for our short stay. Staff seemed disintrested. Not ever going back

Was assigned Room #209. Upon entering, it had NOT been cleaned. Messing, dirty sheets, towels, trash all over the room and NO toilet paper. It being 7 pm, and no close by hotels to go to - I had to ask for two clean sheets and MAKE UP MY OWN BED. No pillow cover for my pillow and had to use napkins that I had saved for toilet paper. TV remote was for Room #208, and did not work in #209. Worst hotel stay that I have ever experienced in all of my life. Had to stay, as my flight out the next morning was for 6:15 a.m.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. The ONLY positive thing was the cleaning g lady was super friendly and responsive.
I travel with my elderly disabled mother who has a service dog. When I told them at check-in that she had a service dog, they asked for papers, which I believe under the ADA and Florida statute. They cannot ask that and when I did not provide, they made me pay $75. Of course, I stated the law and he said he is allowed to ask for it very rude so of course, I got a receipt and had him hand right on there that he demanded to see paperwork and made me pay a fee. I will not be returning to this place price definitely not worth it.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The best part of the stay was the restaurant next door. What I liked: it had a fridge and microwave. Beds were ok. Now onto the not so good stuff. The check in clerk wasn’t welcoming at all. She definitely didn’t want to be there. When we checked in, we were give a remote for the TV and one towel each. No face cloths or hand towels. One towel each that wasn’t that great. The TV didn’t work so the remote was useless. She didn’t care about that at all. There was mold on the top of the bathroom entrance. The room was barely clean and the air conditioning struggled with the hot air blowing under the door. I’d stay away from this place if you can. Pay a little extra and get a better experience.

They put me in room the tv was on a table leaning againt the wall it ws not a double queen as pid for it was 2 singles. The closet doors were broken off the hinges and leaning against the wall with no place to hang my clothes. I had to hang them in the bathroom. Outside had trash al thrown around had garbage cans over flowing on the ground. When i walked by the rooms i could smell a strong stinch of pot parties. No ictures on the walls it seemed like a converted storage area and not the picture of the rooms as described. Broken down vehicles in front of my room like it was a shade tree mechanics parking lot sitting on jacks. A mistake was made on my reservation by hotels.com that cost me 2 additinal days that i paid for while not being there. Even though i checked out 2 days early hotel would not give me a refund. If i was ble to submit pictures here i would post the pictures i took of this dump hole. Choice Hotels should take their name off of anything to do with this place because it really gives them a bad name. They would not even give me an updated check out converfation after i had asked 3 times. It is ashambed Choice hotels will not stand behind their visitors when their name is on the sign. If you go by this place keep going. Unless you feel at home in the slums. Ive got lots of pictures to back up these words.

Didn’t sleep all night we was so uncomfortable and felt unsafe. We hate driving at night thats why we didnt leave. The tub was dirty with hair and they only gave a 1/4 roll of tissue. No wash clothes. The door was all messed up we felt like someone can walk in. The light flickered all night. The sheets were dirty thank god we always travel with extra stuff so we used our own. The furniture falling apart. Never again will we ever come here. I NEED MY $ BACK

The floor was a dirty. My feet and sox got dirty by walking on it. There seemed to be mold in the corner of the shower. We were given towels on check in but that was only bath towels. There were no washcloths or hand towels and I had to ask for those. There was't a bath mat in the bathroom, which made me feel unsafe because I was worried about falling with my wet feet. The smoke detector wasn't working...It kept beeping. We took it to the office but were ever given another one. I really didn't like having to check in through a window on the outside of the building. There seems to be a nice big lobby so I should've been able to go inside. It was cold outside and it was hard to hear through the window because there was no speaker hole and the street noise is very loud. It was hard to communicate this way. The grounds looked a little dirty...I nearly stepped in dog poop in the parking lot. Parking was easy and the beds were comfortable however, I would have liked more pillows on the beds.

Room. Was. Awful. We were the first apartment at the top of the stairs. We reserved two queen beds and got one double bed. The sheets were stained. The dresser drawers were broken, including missing drawers. The sink and toilet and tub were dirty, and that’s an understatement. The window in the bedroom to outside was boarded up leaving only one means of exit in the event of an emergency. I would never recommend staying at this location.

This hotel had used bottle of conditioner sitting on the counter, the bed sheets had rice and hair on them after pulling back the covers. The top cover had a huge pee stain on it. Along with the headboard, mattress and bed frame being stained and completely covered in who knows what. Then after coming home I noticed they had taken the $50 deposit out even though we left within 20 minutes of checking in, they did put it back in eventually but that was completely uncalled for. And when I tried getting my money back they ignored all contact from the party I booked with. The front desk didn’t even seem concerned or surprised on how it was when I described the condition.

Let me start by saying I've never experienced a room this awful and discusting in all my travels. For starters, there was no toilet seat on the dirty toilet, sheets were stained with yellow urine, microwave had crusty cakes on food from last person, dirty shirt still in garbage can, blunt wrappers in top drawer nightstand, AC only worked when lights were left on, had to unscrew all the bulbs to sleep, asked for different room they said sold out they had no more rooms. Brought us a toilet seat that was dirty and urine stains. Light fixture falling off the wall, hairs in the shower, paint chips all over the floor where it was peeling off the wall, top comforter smelled like stale urine, cabinet door hanging by one hinge and one screw. This room was absolutely not cleaned before renting to us. It is beyond the worst stay I've ever experienced. Do yourself a huge favor and don't book this hotel. You'll regret it as soon as you open the door. It's amazing to me that Hotel owners can get away with all these hazards and health code violations. Aren't they held to some sort of standard by hospitality businesses? If I can get the word out through this app expressing how awful this Hotel was then maybe someone will listen and changes will be made. Not everyone can book a $200 a night room. You hope you're getting quality when you book a less expensive room. This hotel failed on every level possible.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The first night there were late night partiers and road racers, and we couldn't sleep. The pool was out of service. The front desk lady was EXTREMELY rude, no manners whatsoever. Not accommodating at all! The room is dirty and the tv doesn’t work. When I got here after paying the price for the room she wanted a $50 deposit in CASH! When I told her I didn’t have any cash she told me I could use the atm in the lobby to pull the cash out and then took her sweet time to unlock the door for me, then scolded me for not reading signs that lobby was closed. I’m surprised this location is still open to be honest.

Basic no frills hotel with friendly neighbors

The place was ok for the price I got it. No frills basic accomodations is what it is.it does have a pool, but it was a bit cool to use it. The room is easy to find and there is ample parking. The key card worked as it should.

The room has the AC off. I was all right with that for little while, but then sought to use it. I noticed the plug looked like international ones. So, I couldn't use the standard one against the wall. Luckily, my friend found the plug under the AC 5o this problem was resolved.

They had a weird policy where any stains on towels and sheets would result in the deposit not being returned. I always thought there is a reason why they change and wash the linens and towels. Doesn't seem right for something that may well happen when using the towels. Also, they did not want people using the towels for the floor just out of the shower. To me, that's a safety concern here. The floors are of wood, and can be quite slippery if wet. Putting a towel or a rug would mitigate that.

The location was good, with many places to eat and a WalMart and even a Home Depot within walking distance if you need it.

One interesting feature is there are 2 sinks, a kitchen and a bathroom one.

They did not have the morning coffee they said they provide. It'd be nice.

We actually did not get to stay at the Econolodge. When I booked, I chose the 'book now, pay later option'. I entered my debit card and intended to pay with my credit card at the location. I was told when I reserved that my card would not be charged until we got to the hotel. Fast forward to our travel day...the hotel called me because my debit card did not work, and then cancelled my room before I could respond. When they called, I was on the airplane and not able to answer or call back. When we landed, I called back and the front desk person informed me they cancelled our room. My reservation clearly states that I would be expected to pay at property, but I never got the chance. I called hotels.com and they called the hotel and told me all was well. When we arrived that was not the case, and we were forced to find alternative accomodations. In addition, both staff members we interacted with were rude and dismissive. When we arrived at EconoLodge the front desk attendant actually locked us out of the lobby while we contacted hotels.com. We were treated so poorly by that property. However, hotels com staff was awesome and helped us find a new place to stay at 8pm in the evening. We will never stay at another EconoLodge.

This place needs to be shut down. Drug deals were going on right outside our door. Filthy room. Rude owner. They overbooked so we had only one room/one night instead of 3 nights. I made reservations in December 2024. This is March 2025. Pool was green. Trash cans outside were overflowing with trash. Graffiti on the lamp shades. They gave us our tv remote, covered in scotch tape and did not work. Air conditioning did not work. WORST PLACE IVE EVER STAYED IN. Unsafe and filthy. First, the door lock was very hard to deal with and the door was stuck. There were only 2 bath towels. At the check-in desk there was a sign \"do not use towels to clean the floor\" which I thought was odd. Until I walked in the room with bear feet! It was disgusting! The bed sagged in the middle and was uncomfortable. The TV was hung crooked.

Dirty and condition of rooms . Had to change rooms 3 times. Dirty used towels hanging up in one, used condom in one, refrigerator and a/c not working in one. One room no tv cables connected to tv. Couldn’t believe it. Had to endure this for two nights as it was spring break and no other properties available at rates originally booked for. Had important doctor appts and rest was needed. Requesting to be refunded for 2 nights.

Please beware that this hotel is not at all like the photos. They will put you in a room that is falling apart. Flat pillows. No trash can, no tv remote. Bed doesn’t look as pictured. Sheets were dirty. Property had people smoking weed, homeless living in the garden area with Tupperware. Rude workers. Don’t stay it’s worse then you can imagine

Had to ask for towels which where small and way past their best before date. Had to ask for TV remote. Room stunk and there was no window.
Efficiency unit means literally a bar fridge and microwave. No coffee maker utensils etc.
No “free breakfast” only coffee was at officer

I arrived as a late check in at 1130pm on friday feb 14 2024
I had just drove 12plus hours I went to take a bath and saw that there was blood in the bath tub . an ironing board with no iron a closet rack with one hanger 2 towels no wash cloths and no hand towels . and the tv wouldnt work. the front desk was impolite I complained and asked to be moved to a another room. I slept on top of covers and left the next day after waiting all night for someone to clean the room. I was booked for 2 nights . I want a refund
