The property was big and close to the Dells but when I checked in it cost over $200 different from the quoted price after I paid a deposit. Then in order to get my parking pass I was basically assaulted into a 2 hours sales percent which we said no from the second we walked in to the second we left and they were rude after we said no. There were stray cats everywhere, the beds had dirt and crumbs in them, including the pull out couch, we didn’t have enough blankets, the shower wasn’t clean and it was so small you couldn’t stand in it. The pool was over crowded, the walkway to the outdoor hot tub was flooded the whole time and the hot tub never had less than 60 people in it. Mostly kids under 6 who were doing cannon balls. The floors were disgusting and never cleaned the whole time we were there. Honestly for the price it wasn’t worth it and they asked us for hours to pay $900 a month for the next ten years at a 20% interest rate for “ownership”- skip it and stay at the mt Olympus or great wolf or Kalahari

The microwave had cheese and chocolate inside, the knife in butcher block had cheese on it. We then washed all dishes
It was okay, not spotless. The assigned "cottage" did not match the picture on Expedia. The resort daily fee was high considering there wasn't really anything gained from paying it. The $40 for 2 hours snow tubing was high considering the long lines. Concierge was very responsive though.

Overall clean, but bathroom was very bad.
First of all, extra towels were put next to the toilet plunger underneath the sink. Inner shower curtain is visibly moldy outside. Bath tub hasn’t had any floor mat and the surface is EXTREMELY slippery.
The rest of our unit was okay, just like any other time we have visited the CMV.

The supervisor at the desk was rude in her tone when we checked in and the kitchen only had one small 8 inch fry pan and no baking sheet at all. Not well equipped for anyone who would want to even fix a snack.

Nice Property, but since we were not members we felt like unwelcomed guests. Sheets were stained. They brought us a new set, and credited applied a credit. Pool area was nice and room was nice, bed was comfortable. The kitchen had glasses, plates, silverware.

We seen others putting at curb of driveway to cabin but at check out I was instructed to put in dumpster on property? Guess we should have left in cabin

Disappointing Experience with Security

I had a very frustrating experience during my recent stay. Security came by at 9 PM and woke up my entire family, which was incredibly disruptive. To make matters worse, they insisted that my parents move our vehicle across the facility, adding unnecessary stress to our evening. We were told by security that we should have been informed at check-in that we could only have one vehicle, which was very inconvenient since we had travelled from out of state, were issued two parking passes, and were not told this up front.

What made this situation even more concerning was that my mother, who walks with a walker, had to navigate her way back to our cabin in the dark. This lack of consideration for guests' comfort and safety is unacceptable. It’s disappointing to see such poor management of security protocols and check-in policies. I hope they can improve their approach in the future to ensure that guests can enjoy their stay without being disturbed or put in dangerous or uncomfortable situations.

We honestly really do love coming to this resort. This was our third stay, twice as Bluegreen owners, and this was the first time we have stayed since we gave up our ownership. But there is obviously a reason that we came back. We just love that it’s nestled in the woods, very quiet, the outdoor hot tub has always been a plus, especially in the mornings when it’s adult only swim. We have stayed in three of the different types of rooms and they have all been great. They’re spacious, clean, and have all the amenities you need to cook or have a relaxing night in by the fireplace. Mulligans is a great place for some food or a beer after a game of golf. There’s also a Starbucks for coffee in the morning and a small convenience store attached to it for other things that you might need. There’s also a lot of fun things for kids to do. We have done the mini golf and the paddle boating in the past, which is all included with your stay. And you also get discounts throughout town at certain restaurants and attractions. We will definitely be back!

High pressure to have loose sheets

We booked a 2 bedroom cabin which was plenty spacious. We were first turned off by the pressure sales pitch to get a present if we listened to the time-share availability. We kept saying we were not available until my husband insisted we had to leave for dinner reservations. When we got to the cabin which again was nice, we learned that the sheets were just flat sheets tucked around the base of the bed. Within 15 minutes of trying to go to sleep, the sheets were all tangled around us. My husband just slept on the mattress which is gross since how many other people had to do the same. The bed was comfortable at least.

We stayed in the cottages and they were absolutely disgusting. Our cottage smelled like mildew and mold. There was hair on the nightstands and in the corners of each room. The pictures made it seem so spacious and great and it was far from that. I was VERY uncomfortable and my family ended up leaving early.

It looked like housecleaning staff just skipped over our cabin. Hair all over the tub and little pieces of garbage on the floor. I turned down the king size bed and seen the there was sand, hair and dirt so they didn't change the liens either. So glad I brought extra blankets and pillows. No shuttle services to get to the restaurant or other amenities which is disappointing. Overall for the price of the cabin and how things were spaced out for food and entertainment without any shuttle service, I'll be looking into another resort in the area for next year's family trip.

My parking spot was on an awkward hill that made it difficult to get in and out. The cabins pull out couch bed was dirty the first night the person who slept there was forced to sleep on the couch. The second day they came by to clean it (after i asked for a second time) and by the time we returned to the room later we STILL had to put a towel down then the sheet. There was only a flat king size sheet and no fitted sheet. The bed was queen not king. Check in and check out took a ridiculous amount of time due to the website i booked on having errors. Its ridiculous how during check in the man we spoke to said "were all good" and then i had the exact same issue upon check out.

Other than that everything was ok. The internet was terrible but "theyre working on it" i did ljke that i could order from moose jaw because your restaurant closed at 8pm. But upon driving past still looked open?

Unfortunately, we brought our own food anticipating using the grill on the enclosed porch. The grill was in very poor condition. One side was sunken in and the other side had built up char that seems like it has never been addressed. Also, the crates were rusted. Secondly, three staff members asked if they could enter our unit to check on an internet problem. Neither of them cared to where a mask or ask if they needed to. Even though my entire party wore a mask while they were there. That was disappointing.

I grew up coming to this place and I always remember it being immaculate. We came for a stay in a cabin and right when we walked in we saw crumbs everywhere. On the couch, the floor, the table, and the bed. When we called to complain they said that we shouldn’t be complaining because they upgraded us to a two bedroom. But there was only two of us. The hot tub is also broken.

Legionnaires desiese was reported in the water at the resort and made people sick. They have done what they can with adding filters to water outputs, but what an absolute turn off to check in for a nice get away and to be told that. There are cabins that are older and some look newer. We paid for a more expensive, what we thought was a condo and it was a very uninviting cabin with the strangest layout, nothing at all like the exterior pictures of these condos show. We did like the kitchen, living room area, porch and the 2 bedrooms. Everything was very clean. We were too scared to shower, brush our teeth or even use the ice in the freezer from the on site water

The room was nice. The location was decent. The drawback was the crazy sales pressure presentation that we were guilted into upon checking in. This was a short vacation and we spent 4 hours of it in a high pressure sales pitch to buy a time share with Bluegreen. It was horrible. Half of the vacation was wasted on this. After trying to leave and decline several times and sitting for 4 hours with a small child i signed up just to be able to leave. Now i am forced to send in resignation paperwork to cancel. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Postives: Nice for families and quiet despite the large number of families, reasonable price for being peak season,

Improvements: Start renovating updating cabins to accommodate new technology ..cell phones, iPads, etc. Check in time is too late (4pm) and checkout is too early (10am). Other VRBO properties we stay in are usually 3pm check in and 11am checkout. Our room wasn't ready until 4:30 pm. We did not have a hair dryer and despite requesting one, it never came.

Otherwise, we would enjoy returning to this property.

We had stayed here last year. This year we brought two friends with us. We were all blown away by how nice the resort was. We stayed in a villa last year and a cottage this year. Both were equally nice and loaded with everything you could ask for. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen and used the grill when it wasn't raining.

Amazing resort experience

We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath townhouse and it was absolutely awesome! Could have just stayed at the resort the entire time if we wanted and been entertained by the pools, pond for canoeing and paddle boats, etc.

Nice place to stay in the winter.

Nice sure spot to stay over the winter. Had a view of the ski hill from our townhome. Very cozy place. Really wish that the townhome weren't on steep hills. My truck was sliding down the hill coming down to our place.
Downside of the townhome is that the walls are paper thin. We contacted front desk about the noise they had someone check it out but a couple hours later we were trying to sleep and could hear every word from next door. Thankfully, no questions asked when we requested to be moved. Other than that it's a decent place to visit. The outdoor hot tub was nice.

Comfort, convenient, fun and friendly staff.

I was very impressed with the convenience of not having to worry about packing anything other than our groceries and our clothes. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need minus a blender. My family stayed in one of the villas. It was very clean, roomy and comfortable. We loved the gas fireplaces especially having on in the master bedroom. The staff was a joy to interact with. The only thing that kept me from giving this place an excellent rating was the lack of food options however there are plenty of places to drive to. We did not want to have to venture outside of the resort. There is no room service other than ordering pizza.

We truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The resort is beautiful. Our cabin had everything we needed. We were so comfortable when we arrived Friday that we didn't even leave the resort. The hotel staff was friendly, everyone seemed to love their job.

We paid for three rooms at the same price.One of the rooms was to small and look like a trailers home.The outside of it was totally outdated. I think that room should have been cheaper not over $ 500.00 for two nights.I am also not pleased that still have a $300.00 dollar hold for room damage and still have not place the money back in my account.Most places release the money once you check out. Won't stay here again.

Stayed at CMV a few years ago in one of the log cabins & loved it. Not as pleased with the cottage/location this visit. We did have a fun time with our 2 grandchildren, but will probably choose another property next time.

Overpriced and Overrated!!

While the "cabin" we stayed in was adequately furnished it was nothing to be excited about. We had two cabins. The guests in the first cabin pulled out the pull-out bed in the couch and there was food in there and the linens were not clean. Neither of the tv's worked in that cabin and there was not an information binder in that cabin. When they called about the tv's they were told the instructions on how to get them to work was in the binder. They advised they had not binder. They were told they were out of them. Finally on day two someone came to fix the tv's. We didn't even open the pull out bed in the second cabin. There is no place to get breakfast on the premises during the week. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was mediocre at best. I expected more to do on the premises. Unless you are a golfer I would not recommend this facility.

Could have been better.

When we arrived we were very pleased. However, the second night at 12:30 AM a security guy was ringing the doorbell and was VERY RUDE when we were hesitant to answer the door. He made us move one of our cars telling us we could only have one of our two cars parked at the place and the second one needed to be moved to overflow. We were not explained this at check-in and nothing was said until the second night. This was very unnecessary to be so rude and insisting we answer the door at 12:30AM. When we addressed this at the front desk there was no apology for being so rude or the fact that we were never told any different.
The resort says that you can rent fishing poles and bait. When we went to do this, the lid handed me the poles and when I asked fort the bait he said they were out of bait and said it would be a week before they had any. The kid told us we could go to Wal-Mart to buy some if we wanted. If the resort says they offer this maybe they should have went to to buy the bait. And again, no apologies.

Loved the location and being able to get away from the craziness of everything on the strip. We were about 10-15 minutes from everything we did (zip lining, water park, mini golf, etc) Stuff is kind of spread out in this resort and not many signs to direct you. I love that they want to conserve water and have you re-use towels but we had 5 staying and 5 wash cloths for the week. Had to drive to another area to get clean washcloths each day which was a little annoying. Also, the cottage was right in front of the camp ground and 2 of the mornings I had an early wake up call from people loading their campers which was frustrating when we were so tired. They did provide dish detergent for the washer which was nice. Mulligans on the property was a bonus so we could order take out and enjoy a night in.

I was worried that we would be far from all of the attractions, but it really isn't. The cabin was clean, cozy, quiet. My only little complaints are: the tv reception isn't real good and check out is at 10am. Although I did call and ask for a later check out and they could only give me until 11am. I would definitely stay here again.

Not very accommodating. Several issues with the room. From outdated accommodations to issues with power and being locked out of the room several times after keys deactivated. Bottom of baby pool as well as the teeter totter were old and worn. The pool itself was worn out. The siding on our unit was worn and so was the entrance. I have stayed here before, but it has had very little sprucing up. Needs a facelift.

Cabin was very nice and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Resort location is a little out of town which is good and bad. First person at check-in was borderline rude but Linda was great! We did not have time to check out entire property but it has a definite outdoor feel to it. Great option for families that need kitchen for preparing meals and room to relax.

Everything was perfect. The area is safe for walking and the Outlet mall is a short drive away. We did have to drive to shopping and restaurants, it is outside of town. The internet and T V service were poor. That was fine for me, but may be a problem for some.

Villa was nice enough, Ice maker never worked and had to drive to the club house to get Ice when there was an ice maker that was broken in the villa that just should have been fixed. The answer the staff had was just to drive up to the club house.

Fun, relaxing and exciting all in one!

Loved the place and location...but Disappointed with hotels.com and choice hotels. We booked December 29-January 1 3 nights total for a 2 bed room 2 bath, but upon check in they had us booked for 1 night and then wanted us to change rooms which would be a total inconvenience. donna at the front desk was very nice and accommodating having us in 1 room all 3 nights but we had a step down to 2 bedrooms and 1 bath for 5 people so we were very disappointed since we paid for 2 baths. We would like to be compensated for our inconvenience.

Very nice place to stay. We had a cabin for 6 people, 2 adults and 4 kids. Had plenty of room. A lot better than trying to squeeze in a hotel room. Nice facilities all around. We came up to ski so we weren't worried about an indoor water park like other resorts in the dells. The ski slope is small and the runs aren't exactly challenging but nice for first timers. We stayed here but skied at Cascade, which was 20 mins away. All in all we like the cabins/villas better than hotel rooms but we went outside of the resort for entertainment.
