Overall it is a good property. Beds are comfortable, very clean and good amenities. However, the bathtub is a health liability, itis extremely slippery. In other word, dangerous. Other than that a very pleasant experience.

Smallish modern hotel with good facilities near all the attractions in central Granada.
Comfortable, clean room, with a little balcony. Good wifi and bathroom. No tea or coffee making facilities though.

Nice hotel, but small bathroom

The room was a bit small and hot. The bathroom was too small. The staff was nice. The AC did not work well and we asked for a fan, but they did not have one to give us. The location was good, but a bit far from most of the tourist spots. Plenty of restaurants and shopping very close by. I would recommend.

Great small hotel in a great location to visit Granada. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only aspect that wasnt that great was breakfast. Very poor selection, you had to ask for things that were missing constantly and the cooked food was very poor. Worst avocado ever, it was already black. Scrambled eggs was over cooked.

Great service at the Hotel Dauro Premier! Our rooms were comfortable, the location was amazing, the staff friendly, and the breakfast buffet delicious. The receptionist offered us recommendations on where to park and where to eat, and even though she was pretty busy, she was more than happy to help us with any questions we had. The location was really amazing, walking distance to downtown, the Christmas markets, and more. The one issue we had was that the internet was a bit slow, and would die sometimes. We were there on vacation for just one evening, so we didn't need it much. But something to consider if you need to work during your stay. Other than that, no complains at all--the opposite, we enjoyed our stay a lot at Hotel Dauro!

Angela was the high point of our stay...we are seasoned independent and intrepid travelers..and hotel owners...stars mean nothing..of three employees we met...Angela was kind gracious and helpful...A joy that should work somewhere deserving...the other attractive clerk that checked us in was seemingly bothered when we arrived..ok as an employer of many service employees in various sectors of the service industry..you get a pass on a bad day. Angela redeemed the hotel with her smile and willingness to help..Our first morning was the straw when the original woman could barely force a good morning. We went to breakfast (up charge) and as I stood at the darkened doorway to the breakfast room..I asked if it was open..she said “go in” with a dismissive wave of her hand...the waiter was not ready..the food not presented.. baked goods left out overnight and the coffee in the thermos pump was cold..as in yesterday’s coffee...not hot foods protein items out..no explanation...the experience ruined a special 25th anniversary day...the night before we had inquired of Angela about staying a few extra days...the ok points it was clean enough the bed though a small c class room was fine the water hot and the location very good..it takes more than stars to make a great hotel...hospitality and a smile can make the difference..we checked out quickly and moved up a star down the street where the staff and their smiles
Turned our trip around...Avoid this place...Angela was 5 star though.

A nice hotel with good amenities in a central part of the city near the river. We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed Granada, we walked everywhere, even up to the Alhambra once which is hard going and took over 30 minutes. The second time we caught the 32 bus

Even if it was a Small room, it had all that was needed. Comfortable bed...Very well located. Great staff. Awesome price. Mini fridge in the room was welcomed. We booked one night and decided to book a second the next morning. I strongly recommend it!

The room was not that spacious because there was a sofa bed that’s taking the space and with our luggages there was like a foot to pass through but we make do for 2 nights. When I booked I requested for a kettle and cups in my room and it was already set in our room when we checked in. The hotel was within walking distance from everything. We Asked if we can have a late checkout because we have a tour in the morning but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we checked out very early but they allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception.

We stayed just for one night on a road trip through Spain. The room was nice with two comfortable beds. The shower had good water pressure, but was poorly designed and caused a bit of a flood in the bathroom when used. It was nice to have breakfast at the hotel as well, though it did cost extra. Parking was valet style and reasonably priced. They also let us store our luggage while we toured the city after check out.

We arrived after a short taxi ride from Granada airport. On arrival we were asked if we would like to see the room options prior to confirming the room type. We were luckily shown the only room on the 4th floor. Slightly largely than the other rooms with a roof terrace. It had a great view of the mountains and the Alhambra Palace. We loved our room albeit the whole building is dated and could do with some modernisation.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff were helpful.

I enjoyed my stay in the Dauro Hotel. The hotel was comfortable and in a good location, and the breakfast was good. However, there was some confusion with our booking. I thought I had booked a double room but on arrival was offered one with twin beds.As I was staying for four days, I 'upgraded' to a more spacious double room but there was an additional charge.

Great location, helpful staff. Breakfasts are standard (meats, cheeses, yogurts, coffee, tea, croissants, eggs, cereal) but dining area is nice and it is staffed well. Beds were comfortable (memory foam). Valet parking a bit expensive (17euros/day) but well worth not dealing with parking hassles. Overall price point is good. Room overlooked busy street so a bit noisy, but not annoyingly so. Wifi was good.

Very nice accommodation . I was a first time visitor to Granada and drove to the hotel. They automatically provided a email maplink to assist with the driving route - including a photo of hotel sign (day & night) to Increase awareness of what to watch for would also be helpful as then hotel marquee was hard to see amongst other business signs and the constant flow of city buses in the adjacent lane (restricted to bus/taxi use and enforced by traffic camera according to advice from a local). The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable with very professional and helpful staff. The area had plenty of shopping and restaurants and was within walking distance of old town with moderate walking effort.

Great Place to Stay in Granada

Very excellent hotel. It was easy to find and access, and our car was valet parked. The rooms were comfy, well appointed and everything worked fine. The location was nice, just a quick walk or a couple of Euro cab ride to everything we wanted to see. Raquel at the front desk helped to set us up with a Flamenco show that was recommended to us by another amazing staffer in Madrid. The wifi worked well all the time. The breakfast was great, eggs, bacon and toast for us Canadians and great pastries for the rest. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Granada.

Valet parking was a bonus, just drive up to the front door, unload your bags and that was that. It's all a bit dated but a nice little hotel. We had a small room with a double bed along with an adequate bathroom. It was quiet too. Our 4 day stay to visit the Alhambra etc went rather well with the location of this hotel being close enough to walk to many restaurants in the area, shops etc as well as get the various buses to the sites. Nice place directly across the road for morning cafe con leche, trendy tapa bar a few steps up from that as well. Tapas capital of the world we were told about Grenada and they were not wrong about that.

Staff locked us in and disappeared

Hotel was pretty good. Room was comfortable, clean and the hotel is close to the city center and an easy walk (about a mile).

The big issue we had was we had to checkout early in the morning (~6am) we come down and the entrance to the hotel is barred with a metal shutter and there is no one at the front desk. No sign, no notice. We wait and ring the bell and wait some more. No one comes and nothing happens. Finally after waiting almost 20 minutes we are in danger of missing our train. I start banging on the door, shouting for someone to come. A lady finally comes and curtly informs us that she was preparing breakfast. No apology. Not even some semblance of regret. We rush out, spend money on a cab (we had planned on walking) and barely make our train.

We stayed overnight after having visited the El Alhambra. We drove there so luckily valet parking was available (16 euros a night). We had a quiet room facing the back of the hotel where we could see a church bell tower from the window. Bed was comfy and room was spacious. The bathroom was a bit outdated but very clean with nice toiletries (comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap). After we checked out, they let us leave the car for a few hours so we could go sightsee. Great delicatessen up the street!

This hotel is located in a very pleasant neighborhood just outside the historic center. We were efficiently checked in and made our way to our room. We were less impressed with the very worn and dirty hall carpeting but once we arrived at our room we were very pleasantly surprised with very nice, clean, and quite spacious room. The twin beds were really comfortable and the room was very dark and quiet at night, so sleeping was wonderful. There is a common room with a large TV, computer, and facilities for making coffee or tea.
This hotel has classic charm and seems very well managed.

Spent 2 days while exploring Granada.Excellent location for site-seeing and getting to this hotel. Most places of interest are within 1 to 1.5 miles, no need to drive or take a bus. City bus, taxi are available options though. Second exellent feature is parking. There are 2 Dauro hotels, the second is in the older part of town and hard to find, not sure if it has parking - double check when booking. The room is clean and has everything but it is tiny and good for one person, not 2, all lights and bedside table are on one side of the bed only. We could not sleep with open windows because of the street noise. Closed windows protected from street noise and air-conditioner was very good - quiet and powerful. So outside noise was not a problem. Inside the room sound protection is not too good, I would rate it 5 out of 10. Overall I would recommend this hotel for folks who are traveling on their own and need a place to crash for the night.

Great stay in this hotel while we visited Granada and the Alhambra. Fun corner room with multiple large french doors out onto the street. Super comfy memory foam beds and good service. Parking handled by staff as they don't want anyone to have an accident in the tight garage. Lots of great little tabernas, shops and bars nearby

Fantastic hotel- stress-free, good service & price

I stayed for four nights including breakfast. The price was cheap, especially compared to other hotels within a 5 minute walk distance from Dauro. The breakfast was very nice: had lots of options and most importantly, it was available till 10.30am and didn't close as early as 9am, which frankly is not my definition of a stress-free stay.
Service was good, staff could speak English well.

I will definitely recommend Hotel Dauro and book it should I stay in Granada once again.

Nice room but Air Conditioning did NOT work

Although the hotel itself is fine, the air conditioning did not work. We stayed in late July when the high temperatures exceed 40 deg C (100+ F). We spoke to the front desk, they sent their handyman/super. He looked at the thermostat and concluded it was working. We spent 2 sweaty sleepless nights. If you are staying here late Sept through May, you will likely be fine as its not that hot. But I would not stay here in the summer. Room was spacious, clean, and the hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the city center. We stayed 2 nights and felt that was a sufficient amount of time.

Two nights in Granada. Nice welcome by staff and the manager greeted us next morning as well. Hotel provides on site parking which is handy and is in a very good condition. Good breakfast provided and cannot fault it really for a well run 3 star hotel.

A clean comfortable hotel with a nice airy room in walking distance of the old town and the Alhambra. Excellent for the price.
