The hotel building forms part of Placeta de los Peregrinos square, in the historical city centre. From here it is just a short walk to the famous Alhambra (1.
1 km). This pilgrim's refuge is not just a hotel.
It is gradually being filled with personalities and stories, both real and fictitious. It wants to grow further with preoccupations and dreams, emotions, the dialogue between the guests and their experiences.
As if it were a stage, the hotel's rooms, lounges, halls and patio have items placed as way of clues, simply to stimulate the imagination. Renovated in 2010, the charming city hotel offers 15 rooms in total and welcomes its guests in a lobby with a hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access to the upper floors.

Friendly staff, clean and location good but the ground floor room was very dark and gloomy. No drink facilities in the room although there is access to a kettle in the late afternoon/evening. Most hotels these days have facilities for coffee in the room.

The Gar Anat is a wonderful hotel. Staff are personable and considerate - the front desk manager even came looking for me in the carpark as he thought I might be in trouble. (The carpark is very tight and tricky to maneuver.) The location is perfect as you are right by the cathedral and the bus to the Alhambra. The afternoon coffee/tea is a nice touch. And the rooms are kept clean and comfortable.

Cozy hotel in a fantastic location. Easy to walk to most places, as well as close to the bus stops. Central atrium area and library room were lovely additional spaces to enjoy. The room was a great size, especially the bathroom. However the lighting was dim, and the wiring was chaotic - some switches operated odd combinations of lights, and one light we couldn't find a switch for at all! It became a very strange 'what's that switch' game. Also, the door lock was broken - it actually came straight out of the door!

We spent two very comfortable nights in Gar-Anat. It is located in a very old building that adds to the historical interest of a stay in Granada. It is well-located for accessing the major attractions all of which we managed on foot. We even walked to the hotel from the train station. It is a little quirky but quaintly so. We had a lovely time at the Gar Amat Boutique Hotel. The service was exemplary, all the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and breakfast was tasty. Two pointers for the future - we had to run the taps for many minutes to receive hot water for the shower, while we also did t appreciate the open toaster / grill at breakfast, which was exceptionally hot and potentially dangerous. But we would recommend this hotel.

My room 114 was facing anither building in ruins so not a view really but the hotel made up for it in cleanliness, quite and staff. Yes the staff is great! Absolutely lovely, very helpful, very attentive, i have zero complaint, beside no tea station in the room and the one in the library was not available at least 3 out of the 5 times i went looking for a hot drink downstairs. Maybe some free snacks would be nice too. Honestly, it is minor but flagging it here for the future. Thank you for a great stay

A very cute boutique hotel located in the center of the city. The hotel has a lot of character and is very clean. The staff are super friendly, and are happy to help organize dinners, shows, etc. They helped us plan a flamenco show + dinner, as well as organized taxis. The breakfast was delicious as well, and the woman who works the kitchen is a delight. Would for sure recommend for anyone looking for a quaint boutique hotel in Granada.

The road to the parking garage is extremely narrow, making it difficult to navigate without hitting the side mirrors. The garage itself is overcrowded and not on the property, requiring a walk to and from the hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed a week stay at Gar Anat Hotel. It is a lovely old Moorish building, stylish, very clean and very central. Nice selection breakfast, the staff were helpful. There was tea facilities running from 4pm until 10pm, we took the cups to our room. Only downside is that it was rather cold. Our bedroom has no heating, the radiator in the bathroom was cold to the touch. It appears to be the same for the whole building? We even had a running cold which didn't helps! I I requested for the electrical heater, which was kindly donated to our bedroom. It's in the middle of the winter season, the foyer roof open up to the sky, although it was tent covered, there were gaps and cold air came in. Customers booking this hotel would need to be aware of this.

An absolutely delightful place! I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. As soon as we booked our room they reached out with information for us. We were able to coordinate our airport pickup/drop off, and an English tour of the Alhambra before we even started our vacation. The rooms all have a theme and a cute book in the lobby to explain them. Our room was larger than we expected and everything was well cleaned. A staff member was at the front desk at all hours to greet us or answer questions. The only thing I would mention, more of a concern for my wife is a light sleeper and tends to have earlier nights, is that on the weekend, there is an assuming shop in the same building (not part of the hotel). The music could be heard, and felt, until 2 am. Sounded fun for those people. Maybe ask for the rooms on the other side of the building if that matters. The area was super safe and we were able to walk to many bars and restaurants. Do you yourself a favor and book a stay here!

We stayed for two days in a top-floor room for 2 adults and 1 child (in sofa-bed). The hotel is beautifully designed and very unique. It is cozy as well and we have had a comfortable stay. The location is great and in the middle of everything. It is easy to find breakfast, lunch and dinner places they are all so wonderful. Going to the Cathedral and shopping area is just a short walk as well. We absolutely love Granada and won't hesitate to book this hotel again when we come back. The only caveat is that there is no tea and coffee in room, and wifi is mostly not working. We have data plans, but I think this may be inconvenient for travelers without data plans if wifi problem persists.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and it was a beautiful environment to stay in. The decor in the public spaces and rooms was quirky and unique and really made it a special stay.

Not much value for money because for the same price that i pay in Madrid or Seville I am able to get much better room. Rooms are clean but lights are a bit too dim and the set up of the rooms are not that functional. The only place with mirror is in the bathroom so it is really inconvenient when 3 persons are sharing the room and we have to use our tiny mirrors to make up if someone is in the bathroom. There are also no in-room slippers and no bottled water provided.

The room did not match up with the photos provided and the bed was not comfortable. The hotel was extremely loud both inside and outside. As all the rooms face the center lobby, all sounds carry very far. The nightlife surrounding the hotel was loud throughout the night. We slept with ear plugs to make it manageable. There is no coffee or tea in the room and it's only available in the lobby in the afternoon and evening. Ultimately, the amazing location is not enough to convince me to return to this hotel.
