i stayed at Adina Apartments on Flinders Street for easy access to Rod Laver Arena for a concert. it was a short walk down Batman Avenue, so the perfect location! parking was easy and conveniently located at the back. check in was super simple and Tyson at the front desk was very friendly. the room was massive with a great sized kitchen, a dining table that seated 6, TVs in the bedroom and in the main area with a comfy couch and coffee table. the bathroom is on the smaller sided but suited my requirements as a solo guest! my only complaint would be the traffic/road noise. it’s opposite the flinders train line and the windows don’t block out much noise. the bed was comfortable and massive. there are 2 elevators, but one is currently closed for maintenance, so there was a small wait but nothing dramatic! not sure if i’d stay here for a getaway as it wouldn’t be a quiet night with the outside noise, but it suited my requirement perfectly!

Loft apartments are fantastic. Quiet, stylish, spacious and with all the amenities you could want. It is stair access only but staff are incredibly helpful with bags. I’ve stayed here twice now and would happily pay to live here if it was an option.

Amazing place to stay, love it!!! Very convenient if you are coming to the Australian Open the tram is just about 200 mt and takes two stops. Excellent location and service. Worthy the money. If I would been critical the only issue was the loft was in the second floor and with no lift was hard to take 3 suitcases. So for people with accessability issues, i wouldnt recommend

Customer service is always outstanding. Staff very accommodating for request to change room. Wonderful hotel. Such spacious rooms. Kitchen and bathroom looking well used and ready for renewal in time. Missing a few glasses and utensils in the kitchen. Minor in the big scheme, we made do.
Wonderful place to stay. Adina sets the level of expectation at other hotels very high. Not the cheapest place to stay, but worth every penny!

Very well located but also located next to a busy train and tram line and also the road making it very noisy. We had 2 rooms, the first being set back from the road and was a lot quieter than the front room. Sleep was a struggle. Aside from that the place is clean, well appointed, large 2 room apartment perfect for us. We would definitely stay again but request a rear of building room for the quiet.

Excellent property with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Close (walking distance) to Rod Laver Arena & MCG and a well-stocked IGA supermarket/convenience store is located next door to the property. Transport options are plentiful and close by. The noise of the trains running nearby was noticeable at first but not a deal breaker from my perspective. The spacious and well-maintained apartment I stayed in (13th floor) made up for that. I experienced no adverse issues during my stay and will certainly stay at Adina on Flinders again in the future. Highly recommended.

Just a lovely stay - had to extend multiple times for work and the staff made it so easy. Stayed in both the 1 bedroom apartment and the lofts - both are very spacious although the lofts are stairs only so don’t bring a 30kg suitcase like me!

Either way, this will definitely be my new first port of call for trips to Melbourne. Great part of town, bus and tram on your doorstep and flinders station is a quick hop away.

Beds and sofa were comfortable for a 6’5 man which is rare!

Great rooms, basically a full apartment with the advantages of being a hotel.

Parking is also incredibly secure behind two secure roller doors to get in. Worth its weight in gold alone.

Good accomodation, very easy and accessible by public transport and walking. Friendly and welcoming staff, pretty view of sunset. Heaps of wardrobe/cupboard space and pantry space. Comfy bed and couch. The accomodation was very practical, reasonable pricing, comfortable and clean. Pretty and modern styling too

We did have difficulty with getting some of the appliances to work ;dishwasher didn’t shut , no instructions on how to change water flow to the shower head from the bath tap and no clear answer but we figured it out eventually after trial and error.

A mixed bag

Positives - outstanding views across Melbourne, wonderful staff, generously sized apartment, good storage space, lovely balcony, great location.

Negatives - Street noise from trams and trains, issues with appliances (which staff did their best to resolve), uncomfortable lounges, poorly equipped kitchen.

Great place to stay

The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating when we arrived earlier than their check-in time. The room was very comfortable. The car park was spacious unlike some other properties around the town. Also great value and fantastic location.

Nice property. Now its a bit old. I had stayed here before in 2022 around May-June. Even then the rooms and furniture appeared used and old. Its still the same. Its not bad at all but i stayed at the Aspire on King St for a few nights and now Adina on Flinders does look a bit old compared to that. The appliances and decor look old. However, on the location and on the amenities are as described and all in working order. Over all a nice place to stay. Centrally located, good area, grocery shop located right next to it, tram and train station nearby. Southbank is walkable distance. I had specifically asked for a Southbank facing room. I did get one, but it was a corner apartment with a little view of the Southbank. I should have been more specific that I should have mentioned that I don't want the corner apartment.

wonderful staff

The staff are wonderful and the room was huge and comfortable. It is very close to the tram stop, close to everything and it had a great view of the city. The only down sides were the fridge didn't work, which they tried to fix, the dishwasher was full of mould, which I didn’t notice till the last day, thank god I didn’t use it. I did inform the lady at the front desk and she was very apologetic. I would definitely stay there again…..as long as the fridge works

Stayed with the family and they moved it. The apartment size was massive. My husband and I did stay in room near flinders street so that was a bit noisy but the children didn’t hear anything down the other end. Great location and always friendly staff.

Great locations, spacious apartment

Would definitely recommend Adina for anyone looking to stay in Melbourne CBD, especially if you are going to Rod Laver, the MCG, or Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Very friendly staff, clean and well presented apartments. Fantastic location for self catering, with an IGA next door, and all of the kitchen basics. Spacious and light filled rooms. Brunch at the nearby Bowery to Williamsburg is a must

The Apartment and location was fantastic.
Unfortunately both lifts were out of action resulting in having to climb stairs. Things do happen, however the situation was handled extremely poorly by the staff as I had my elderly mother of 89 years. No apology no offer to assist. When paying good money and the lifts don't work management need to go the extra mile. Pity anyone on the 17th floor.

The only downside was the street noise in the wee hours of the night due to some late night venues in the area. Otherwise great apartment!!

I gave it 3 stars because firstly our balcony was soooo flooded we couldn't access it all, it was at least half a foot deep. Secondly we were charged for a trundle for a 3rd person (which is fine & price was absolutely fair) but the couch was a pull out bed and very comfy so found it bvery odd that we were charged for something we had aleady. NO mini bar and the toilet was broken, had to turn off the water to stop the noise of the running very loudly.
Lastly the lady serving at the desk wasn't very friendly and merely uttered a hello. Beautiful apartments though and as far as location it was spot on.

super team at Adina flinders.

I had made a mistake & booked the queen's street for the first night as my trip had changed & had to make an additional booking. upon reaching the hotel at 1230 am, I was of course very upset with myself but I must say that the hotel staff ( Praveen ) was so good, he made a call to the queen's road hotel, got my booking transferred & arranged a room for me to stay. he was really very good & helpful not just with this but with a charger etc.
super staff. only complaint was that the room wasn't clean on day one despite having speficially asked for it to be done before leaving the hotel.

Fabulous room, received our VIP bottle of wine and as we were in the lofts a lovely hamper. It is close to restaurants, bars, shops, river and transport if you need it. Rooms are exceptionally fitted out could not have wanted for any other items. Simply shop at the local IGA next door. We found it easy to walk everywhere. The only downside was the noise from the alley way that you access the lofts. There are restaurants and late night clubs so it does get a bit noisy (mostly by venues getting rid of bottles into recycling bins) and people from venues near smoke in the lane. However, overall

Such a great property and so well located. The rooms are huge and so well appointed. The staff are super helpful and friendly and it’s so easy to get in and out of parking. Only downfall is a bit of a wait for the lift with one out of order but there’s not much they can do about that.

Wonderful Accommodation.

Our apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Check in was quick and staff friendly and helpful. Parking onsite is reasonably priced for the city. We were in walking distance to the city and public transport was outside the door. Only downfall, out of 2 lifts only 1 worked and this caused delays in getting to and from our room. Overall had a great stay and would book this hotel again. Thank you.

We had a great 6 days at the Adina Hotel. Our 1 bedroom apt. had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful. There is a grocery store next door, coffee shops /cafes both ways within a block, free tram out front, all of which is very handy. Would stay here again in a second.

Good location; property needs further refurbishmen

Good (not great) location and helpful, friendly staff. But apartments are still in need of thorough upgrading as recent renovation only refurbished living areas and bedrooms with mainly cosmetic changes. Bathrooms and kitchens are still old and dated, and hence looked and felt “dirty”. The master bath had a funky sewage smell periodically through our stay. If you’re not fussy about things like that though, the property is good value for the space (living and dining area is generous) and location it offers.

The one bedroom suite is spacious and the newly renovated bedroom and living/dining areas were nice. Not crazy about the living room furniture as they were very firm and uncomfortable. Kitchen and bathroom are in desperate need of a remake. The grease/dust around the fan hood and oven is disgusting. Dishwasher barely works. Had a question about the operation of the TV and received nil help. There is good potential but lots more upgrade needed.
