It was worth the price. Nice location, easy to walk to the beaches and the boats. But, it smells from the sea when it’s low tide. This is during dinner and breakfast, and it really smells bad. It wasn’t too much to choose from at the breakfast, and the breads was quite dry. Ended up eating yoghurt and fruit.
The room was not noice cancelled well enough, so heard the neighbors from time to time.
Monkeys are walking freely here, so watch your stuff. And they are climbing to the top floor.
The pool area is nice, with the pool bar, and the rooms are OK. Worth the price, because of the location and the special nature, but nothing more than this.

First impression are everything. We had arranged a pickup when we arrived that did not transpire so we managed to find our way across to the east side of the island to the resort. When we arrived I was expecting the resort to be on the beach. It is not and with the tide out it did not present a welcome view. The sewer smell was very strong at that particular time. We found the resort was average and not the luxury property we were expecting from the description and reviews. There was really no view from our deck. Over the suites you could see the mountain tops but no ocean views. The room was just average with a very big bed that we found comfortable. The shower was good. We did not use the extra large bathtub.
The pool area does not have sufficient seating for the number of guests and the lounge chairs are very dirty. Some of the guests would place their towels on the lounge chairs and then leave the area for extended periods. Other guests would arrive and not have a lounge chair to sit on because someone was reserving a chair with a towel. It was brought the the desk staff attention and I suggest they implement a policy when you left the pool area you had to take your stuff with you. They did not address the issue and the next day I witnessed two guests yelling at each other over the chairs almost getting in a fist fight. This was regular.The hotel is marketed as a luxury hotel but doesn\"t offer luxury especially for the price they are charging.

This is the second time I've stayed at this beautiful resort. The hotel is located right beside the floating dock on Railay East. Its very easy to access so you dont have to carey your bags across the island. The staff picked up my bags at the dock and brought them to the hotel. Just an FYI check in time is at 3pm and not a minute earlier so plan your arrival accordingly. The rooms are stunning and the grounds are very well kept. The staff always say hi and are very helpful for anything you need. One of the best parts, the breakfast! Make sure to hit up breakfast in the morning. The food and staff are top knotch. Best I've had in a long time. The staff took care of all boat and raxi tranfers for me and made sure I felt like a VIP. I'll stay here eveytime I'm visiting Railay. Awesome job! I'll be back!

I really liked this property. It’s well located in Railay, chill and quiet, but walkable to bars and restaurants and amazing beaches. The rooms are very clean and large. Unfortunately, the service at the front desk I received was very poor. Before I arrived, I emailed requesting the private transportation service to the hotel. I’m a solo female travelling from Singapore for work, and I had a lot of luggage I wanted help with. Based on what I had read, I was willing to pay for the convenience of having transport coordinated by the hotel. After 2 attempts of them sending me a credit card link that kept expiring and not working, they told me it was now too late to use the private service and I would have to find my own taxi and long boat. They told me to message with the long boat number when I was on my way, so I could get help with my bags. I got my own Grab at the airport, then purchased a ticket for the long boat, and once I was on it, I emailed to say I was on my way and leaving Ao Nam Mao pier (about 20 mins away from the hotel) I was already on the boat and could not see a boat number. I arrived and nobody was there. On two occasions I asked for transport/tour help and the front desk offered incorrect information. Now when you check in, the hotel does not take a credit card for incidentals in advance. When I checked out at 6am, nobody was there to help me, and so I left and had to provide payment via a link afterwards. Again, with no luggage or transport assistance.

The hotel was paradise. Gorgeous Hotel, Gorgeous setting. The pool was lovely with spacious sun loungers. The staff were all so kind and friendly, for example the pool bartender made my 2 for 1 cocktails separately so I got two fresh drinks even travelling solo. The room was stunning and spacious and very quiet. The breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit and freshly made omelettes. If I ever travel back to Railay, I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. Looks better than the photos online.

Lovely property, comfortable room, lovely large bed, nice hot shower. Plenty of complimentary water. Good AC, excellent wifi - able to stream Netflix. Staff were delightful, friendly & helpful. My only complaint is the large number of very loud stray cats that cry so much it woke me up a few times in the morning. The pool is lovely & private, great for relaxing but the short walk to the beautiful beaches & restaurants make it the perfect location. Close to boat to catch to Ao Nang Pier to get to Krabi airport

This hotel is really beautiful. The scenery around the hotel is gorgeous. We had a beautiful ocean view room, I loved the little beds on the balcony to chill out and watch he rain or hangout. The staff at the bar are super nice, remembered my drink everyday and the pool is gorgeous. The breakfast was meh (lots of other restaurants around) but the dinner and lunch was pretty good. We found an alley the last night (ugh) that took us right to the other lively side of the beach. Highly recommend walking down there. Tons of monkeys and wildlife on this island. You can grab a private boat right by the pier for 2400 baht (2 people) and they will take you wherever you want. Highly beats being a sardine on a boat with tons of people. We stayed 4 nights and prob could have done 3 just because of things to do. Overall really enjoyed our stay here

There were two pairs of slippers which I wore one pair for 5 days, duration of my stay. The slippers were frayed so I decided not to throw them away to be eco friendly. Hotel wanted to charge me 600thb for these used, worn slippers, so I had to take them out of my luggage. I’m concerned they reuse slippers for other guests, that’s unhygienic. Also you must tell the hotel is accessible only by boat.

Beautiful property with a terrific pool and private villas. For whatever reason, they don’t showcase the best photos so make sure to click through all of the pictures.

We paid around 10,000thb per night in March for a private villa with a pool, which felt like a good deal. We still went to the resort pool each day to socialize and have a few drinks at the swim up bar (happy hour bogo cocktails for around 300 thb). Breakfast was comparable with all of the other resorts we’ve stayed at in Thailand. The food at the restaurant was resort prices (300thb for pad Thai) but surprisingly good. Small Chang beers for 120thb though so instead walk to a nearby convenience store and stock up for your room for closer to 70thb/large beer.

Note, this is not facing a usable beach. Instead it faces small patches of mangroves, but it’s only a few minute walk to the regular Railay beaches.

The hotel arranged our private transportation via email the day before our arrival. It was 1200thb and included airport pickup to the Ao Nam Bao pier then a private long tail boat to East Railay Pier. We had to carry our own luggage to the resort along a fully paved sidewalk. The return trip was 1600thb and the bellhops carried our bags to the boat.

We’ll definitely be back and we’ll bring pool floats for the villa pool next time :)

Eating at your restaurant and getting severe food poisoning ruined the last three days of our vacation. The manager tried to insinuate it was due to drinking alcohol, which I don’t drink, other restaurant food - which I hadn’t had in two days, gaslighting me because no one else happened to report getting sick, and dismissing me because I didn’t seek a doctor in the middle of the night in a strange country, she offered to take the rotten hamburger off our tab. Ultimately after paying $200 a night for two days I couldn’t leave our room, she took $50 of food off our bill. Oh, and when checking in, the front desk took snide pleasure in ensuring we weren’t allowed to check in one minute before 2pm. The room was very clean, the bed was very hard (after lying in it for 36 hours it was a cement block), and the pillows were like wood blocks. I won’t post a picture of the trash can of vomit.

Mr. and Mrs. S. stayed here for 11 nights. We were welcomed very nice and warm and felt like home right from the beginning. The resort and its staff is wonderful. The poolarea is great and we enjoyed many happy hours there. Special thanks must be given to the cook of the restaurant. He is understanding his job very well and we enjoyed everything he offers in the large menue. The waiters are also very kind and try to improve the overall experience. Sometimes things go a little weird and not exactly according to international standards. Here a little training could be set up, but this is a thing of the hotel management and certainly and foremost not of the staff itself in a 4* accomodation. Another interesting thing is the hotels neighborhood, an astonishing colllection of CBD shops, mushroom shops, massage shops, minimarkets and laudries, an incredible contrast. Not shure, if this is a good thing for Thailand and/or Krabi in the longterm. \"Mai pen rai\", the Thai motto when things don't go according to plans, helps a lot! Just smile and enjoy this beautiful resort in this beautiful country of Thailand -:)

We had an amazing stay at the hotel.
The room was incredibly big and comfortable.
We had an amazing bath (with the size of a pool) and a large balcony.
The staff at the hotel were absolutely perfect (especially the employee Free who was all around the place and took care of everything - from great cocktails at the pool to save us a specific table for dinner at the restaurant).
The hotel is right next to the boats pier which is a nice benefit.
Food at the restaurant was pretty good and had a nice variety to choose from.
Definitely recommend and will come back next time.

Location was great, room and overall resort was really beautiful and well kept. The pool had great drinks and fun vibe. We had a pool villa room and on the last two days the pool was cloudy and unusable, when we went to the front desk they said there wasn't anything they could do until the following day (the day we were leaving) and that didn't seem acceptable. I never saw the store open and the restaurant food was okay, we ate there once and decided to try local restaurants thereafter. Overall a really beautiful place, some opportunities on service.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bhu Nga Thani! We visited for 5 nights for our honeymoon, and we had the pool villa. The villa was very clean and we loved using the private pool in the mornings and evenings.
We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet here - it was our favourite of all the places we stayed in Thailand. My husband really liked the restaurant for dinner and room service as well.
The pool area has a beautiful view, and we loved happy hour (we took advantage of it a bit too much!). Be cautious of the monkeys wandering the resort during the day. As Free put it, they’re very cheeky! From our experience though, they did not seem aggressive. It was fun to watch them wander around.
Above all, the staff and service at this resort was exceptional and so friendly. Thank you especially to Free and Boy for the drinks at the pool bar! We enjoyed our conversations with Free too. Highly recommend this resort :)

Excelente hotel. Super limpo. Desde o momento do check in ao check out fui tratada com muita educação e cordialidade. Quarto extremamente confortável e espaçoso. Café da manhã com muitas opções (bem diferente do café da manhã brasileiro - próximo ao café da manhã brasileiro tem pães, frutas, omelete ou ovos mexidos feitos na hora).
Todos os funcionários foram super pacientes em nos ajudar (não falamos inglês e nem tailandês).
Fornecem transfer do hotel para o aeroporto por preço justo (vi outros hotéis cobrando o dobro pelo mesmo serviço) - Longtail até Ao Nag, depois van super confortável até o aeroporto. Não tivemos nenhum problema, foi uma estadia perfeita. Super recomendo.

The hotel and rooms are (were) beautiful, however everything looks old and requires renovation.
Breakfast was average and in an open space without A/C.
The swimming pool has many broken tiles, dirty pool chairs and mattresses and overall seems old and in a poor condition.
Fitness center is in a poor condition.
We had cats in our balcony - they slept on the coach which made it unusable for us.
In the evening there is nothing to do at the hotel.
The shuttle service to and from the airport was a bit expensive (1,600 BHT) but very convenient - recommended.
Overall we had a nice stay but this is not a 4 stars hotels given the poor condition of the facility.

The stay was nice the staff were great. Some things in the room were old and outdated, light bulbs were blown out and some things were dirty even after service. No microwave or a way to heat up food. The pool bar happy hour was great the restaurant food was kinda limited.

Great vacation resort

Loved everything about our stay. Inviting staff, welcome drink was a nice touch. Very clean and spacious room. Breakfast had great quality and variety of options, not too crowded. Pool area was fun and great swim up bar. Location on the East Bay was a short walk from both beaches, very close to transportation pier. A little slow at checkout, but otherwise no complaints for our visit.

Highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

A lovely and relaxing hotel with amazing staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and friendly. Very close to Railay East pier, so easy to get to. Great happy hour cocktails by the pool, made by the lovely bartender!

The only thing is that the staff is nit speaking a good English so its really hard to communicate and have the right answers your need

We stumbled upon Bhu Nga Thani as a last minute alternative to a plan of ours that went wrong, and boy were we lucky to get a room at this resort!! It was everything we wanted from the start. The resort staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The value was fantastic, especially since it included breakfast! I cannot speak highly enough of our stay here. Two suggestions for improvement - the beds are rock hard and there needs to be more hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels, suits, etc.

Beautiful Mountain View as you walk around the hotel grounds. Nice swimming pool with pool bar. Good breakfast buffet included. 10 minute walk to the beach.
