The massage I got at the spa was fantastic and very reasonably. I was told to sure to lock the patio door so monkeys didn't get into the room and was glad I was told that as one afternoon I was visited by about 5 monkeys playing on the balcony! It was awesome!

I booked 2 jacuzzi villas, that were nothing like the pictures. The villas were old, the bathroom so old that the shower head was only allowing water to come out through half of his small openings. At night there was a sewage smell coming from the shower drain. Breakfast is poor, only the egg station that is okay. Yogurt left out the entire time, in the heat. When something finishes something else is brought out - for example there were baked potatoes with cheese but the moment they finished they brought out some sad boiled potatoes cut in 4. Location though is gorgeous, right next to the beach and surrounded by lush trees. But i paid 200$ per night and its nowhere near worth that money for what they are offering.

A fabulous hotel which we would highly recommend. We had a Deluxe Pool Side Villa, you will not be disappointed. The rooms are very generous and spacious and felt very modern. Staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout or stay. The site is very clean, as are the pools. We came to Thailand for 2 weeks and booked three hotels and this was our favourite! Thank you for the six nights we spent with you. If there is any way to fit mosquito nets over the bed we'd give you a score of 11/10. As it is, we hope 10/10 is good enough!

We requested our luggage be pick up from the arrival pier. Our request was completely ignored, and were given zero instructions on how to make this happen. These should be given out long before your arrival. Shouldn't even have to request them. Unless you enjoy dragging your bags through sand through the blistering heat. Over all the units are nice, clean and cool. Pools are surrounded by tons of plants and trees, beautiful vintage vibe. We spent our last hours in the pool watching two family's of monkeys, hang out, drink, and wrestle. Very cool. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Lots of unheated/cold food. Best to stick to fresh made fried eggs and omelets. Enjoy visiting the all the shops and restaurants on the main walking street, but don't ignore the eastern shoreline where you arrived. Lots more to see there, also a lot less busy!

The back pool and garden was magical and relaxing. The buffet breakfast offered great variety too. The transportation back to the airport, which was organized by the hotel, was incredibly efficient and smooth. We loved our stay at the hotel.

we liked our stay here, the resort is right on the beach - even there are many long boats there so if you want to go in the water you need to walk left or right. the resort is very long, we had a pool access room which was gorgeous but it is a walk to the front of the property and if you want to go to the other side you need to walk all the way to the front and then back.
the staff was super nice and helpful, we had the transfer arranged with the hotel from the airport and it was amazing.
Room was large and clean, what we were not so in favor is, they had an interconnected door which was closed, but we had some noisy neighbors, the first night we woke up at midnight, and the next days we had every afternoon the pleasure to listen to them make out.
breakfast was very yummy and you have it with wonderful beach view.
If coming back to Railay beach we would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, everything was clean, organized, and well maintained. We could not be happier! We stayed in a villa and had 2 pools to choose from and the most amazing beach ever! Plenty of food options, the breakfast here that’s included at the hotel is lovely. We could not complain about a single thing. We highly recommend staying here at least two nights. Today we went to the diamond cave and the monkey corner. Both are recommended. We already explored the other islands so we just spent our time here enjoying the beach, Pool, and a small village.

My husband and I stayed here feb 14-17 in the honeymoon suite, which I found amusing as it was connected to the spa next door. It was complicated to find we were told to go back and forth from Railay Resort which is separate from Railay Village Resort but close to each other. We got frustrated and told the Railay Resort somebody from the Village resort was going to have to come get us because our travel was extensive and we weren't going to walk back again which they accommodated and someone came to walk us back with our luggage to the correct resort which we would've never found ourselves so beware of that.
The room itself was cool, we had gotten used to the hard beds at this point during our travels but the a/c worked well. The Jacuzzi part of the suite was pretty it looks just like the pictures. Only inconvenience there was that the water never got beyond a luke-warm. Its close to lots of bars which is where we ate we thought the \"restaurant\" associated with the hotel was a waste of time but overall we spent more time away from the villa than inside it, it worked for our travels although I would recommend bringing some things (alcohol, ice, snacks) for the coming and going.

The grounds were breathtaking . Had a room looking out at the pool. Such a beautiful courtyard surrounding the pool- lots of beautiful flowers !!!! Great spot for photos
The transfer provided by hotel worked out seamlessly- easy to find airport taxi driver , and then ferry to Railay. The buffet had many options and an omelette station. The massages were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms are large, AC worked great, bathroom lovely. A few more beachfront loungers might be nice and I’m thankful the staff made sure only hotel guests used the 4 beach loungers . I’d stay again!!!

Oh. My. Gosh! What a beautiful resort! The staff was so incredibly accommodating and welcoming and friendly and helpful! I met staff at the little office they have before the Ao Nam Mao Pier and they literally walked us to the pier, took our luggage, got us on a long boat, then staff on the Railay Island side took our luggage again for the short walk to the resort! Impressive! The main pool is a dream!!!!! The breakfast was plentiful. The bed was comfortable. The area had all you could need. I did NOT want to leave! And the monkeys in the trees at breakfast were the icing on the cake! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We stayed two nights at Railay Village Beach Resort in a Deluxe Poolside Room and it was absolutely dreamy. The property may be a few years old, but it’s beautifully maintained and definitely feels like an upper-class stay.

The rooms are huge, with an incredibly comfortable bed and plenty of space to unwind. The pool is stunning, surrounded by plumeria and tropical flowers that make it feel like your own private oasis. Lounge chairs can be a little competitive since there aren’t many, so grab one early if you’re keen, but each patio has its own seating area, so it’s never really an issue.

The resort is wonderfully quiet. You’re steps from the beach and the main strip, yet you hear none of the noise. It feels tucked away while still being perfectly central.

The staff are fantastic, warm and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with a generous buffet selection including hot dishes, salad bar, pastries, breads, juices, coffee, and a made-to-order egg station.
We loved our stay here. Comfortable, peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly located.

What’s not to like? 10/10, would happily relax at Railay again.

I stayed 2 nights in the 'Honeymoon Suite'. Railay West Beach is superb especially early morning before the boats arrive. Later it gets over-busy with continuous noise and too much shoreline taken up by the boats - it seems the national park need to get a grip on adequate regulation of numbers and pollution. The garden and pools setting is well designed and beautifully maintained - an oasis of peace. The honeymoon suite itself is spacious but somewhat dated and overdue for a refurb - a single cracked washbasin is not what you might expect at this price point. In particular the light switching is a joke involving 'a tour of the estate' to control but extraordinarily with no lights or control at the bedhead. That said buffet breakfast is great and staff were lovely.

Very limited choices. One single coffee machine for the whole breakfast clientele. Beach was horribly crowded during the day, noisy and a parking lot for long tail boats. Nice, large room that was relatively clean. They have a one pool/beach towel per guest per day policy which seems reasonable except you have to wait until the next day when your room is cleaned to exchange your towel. We had to ask multiple times to get fresh beach/pool towels. Breakfast choices were limited and items were often empty. Railay beach is busy with a constant flow of longtail boats parking along the shore to load and unload passengers. They also park in the swimming area (aka no boats should be allowed) in front of the hotel, making swimming and beach playing dangerous. The hotel should enforce the policy of no boats in its swimming area. On the positive, staff is extremely friendly. We found the bellman and the front desk to be very friendly and helpful.

Room was good as were the pool facilities. We had a pool access room. Service and quality of food in the ‘restaurant’ wasn’t good at all and needs serious improvement. There was an offer of a NYE buffet dinner with ‘free’ soft drinks which we thought was Daylight robbery and skipped for the very good free evening 5 metres away on the beach. Hotel does not try to serve alcohol and does not feature it on menu’s. It’s a kinda strange business model in a party location like Railay. Consequently restaurant was generally deserted in the evening, that along with surly service
Breakfast service was a little better but staff not responsive and counter kept running out of glasses, cups etc most days. Food wasn’t very good quality either.

What an amazing place! Railay beach is just beautiful, and loved having breakfast overlooking the beach before the crowds showed up. Great large room and bathroom, super clean, right beside a beautiful pool which is exactly what you want after a long day exploring the beaches and sights of Krabi. The monkeys even joined in one day ! The maid left us some fun towel animals every day. Staff as very friendly and helpful. Transfer to and from the hotel was flawless. Great place.

Please don't try so hard to make it feel as though we haven't departed from the USA and its culture. The loud american music at night was annoying, and we would have preferred hearing the natural sounds of the water and woods. We were hoping to be coming to a place that was less like home, noisy, smelly with exhaust, and not seeming to be authentic culturally Thai. It seemed to be exploiting the nature there and catering to guests who could have stayed home for much the same experience. We hope that the environment, trees, water and native animals will not be endangered as most everywhere in America they are. We hope there will be care in how your land is treated. Guess we picked the wrong place, a resort. We were thinking we might avoid the crowds of Phuket. Though the area was naturally beautiful, sadly, we didn't experience what we had hoped for, nature and quiet. I understand that tourism is important to local's livelihoods, but also hope there will be care to always keep a balance with the environment.

The bungalows are very dreamy. We got the jacuzzi villa. But I will say it’s pointless to get the jacuzzi villa if you’re excited about the jacuzzi because there’s not enough hot water to fill it up. So while it’s beautiful it’s useless unless you like a cold tub. Also breakfast was pretty disappointing. But everything else was amazing! Staff was great the room was clean as was the entire property! We really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely resort, right on the beach and next door to \"walking street\" which has many options for bars, restaurants and shops (and ATM's). Although it is next door no issue with noise. Staff very helpful, a very relaxed stay. This resort is rather unique as the only way to it is by boat which made it very special for us. You can see monkeys, lizards and small toucans. Hired a canoe from the resort and visited adjoining beaches - very recommended. Resort arranged trips for us at very reasonable rates.

Good location and good food. Staff need to be more attentive as we were in the pool all day and not once did someone come past and clean all the leaves and flowers out the pool. We made a big pile by the end of the day. Also we had a massive dirt patch right out the front out our room which we couldn’t avoid and always brought dirty in the room which could have been cleaned up and we asked several times and we always got it will get done and never did. Room was good but the staff let it down.

Dated resort in a great location on Railay beach. We were offered an early checkin (about 2 hours) which was greatly appreciated.
We stayed in the jacuzzi villa type room which was nice and spacious. Despite this, the rooms and very clearly dated and had wear and tear throughout.
The AC worked well and the day bed was a nice place to relax while in the room.
The resort grounds were lush and there are two pools available to swim.
Railay beach is separated in two parts: west side which has the beach and east side which is mangrove. This hotel is located on the west side which was perfect for beach access.
The biggest disappointment was the restaurant staff who are very unenthusiastic about their roles and don’t care to provide good customer service. The restaurant is empty while others along the beach were full - it was obvious why this is the case.
The resort arranged airport transfers for us, though it was expensive, it was a very seamless experience.

I stayed here with my 2 children aged 13yrs & 10yrs. It was lovely, the pool is very pretty and clean and I felt safe for the entire stay. It is peaceful and tucked away but yet you are right on the beach in the prime location of Railay. There are lots of options for food places and drinks along the beach and down the connecting strip only 5 minutes walk away. The room was a little bit tired which is why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 but everything was clean and the staff were so helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend Railay Village and would happily stay here again. We all loved it.

This property is a great value for the money and has an amazing location. It's right next to the longtail boat/water taxi area for Railay beach and a 10 minute walk or less to everywhere else in the area. The rooms could use updating/upgrades, but they are in a gorgeous botanical garden-like setting with multiple pools. Amazing wildlife and ponds can be found around every corner. The grounds stretch almost to the east side of the peninsula and are accessible only to guests. There are many spacious villas with beautiful whirlpool tubs in separate bathing rooms. The air conditioning works well, and there are free beach towels and beach bags for use. The breakfast buffet is about at the standard for Thailand with several decent options. You can sit and eat right on the edge of the beach. Right around the corner is the main walking street with many other food options and shopping.

The area of rooms by the pool were awesome. Very quiet. The only issue not enough lounge chairs. There could be more for people to lay out by the pool. The walk back to the room was beautiful. The people are very friendly.

The breakfast in the morning was average. Not a lot of selection. There should have been more fresh fruit.

They say they are handicap friendly and equipped and I stated I had mobility issues and to put me in a room closest to the beach and restaurant so I don’t have to walk far and instead I arrived and not only did they not have any type of golf cart to take guests from the pier to the hotel so I had to walk really really far which was so hard for me but when we got to the hotel they had put me in a room at the complete opposite end of the beach which was excruciating to walk so I spent half my time stuck in my room. To add insult to injury my room was the second floor with steep stairs!!! They did nothing to assist in this matter. I had also told them I was there celebrating my birthday and yet they were the ONLY resort during my trip who said nothing and did nothing for my birthday and my actual birthday and as while I was there. Even the airlines saw my passport and said something. My first night I spent it killing cockroaches and spiders so they need better pest control. The location has nothing. A small beach bombarded with long boats and two restaurants. Thumping music all night & loud parties at the pool. It was a lot of money spent for this type of experience. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable and the property was pretty. While this was my favorite part of Thailand, this resort was not my favorite experience. I would not stay here again.

Lack of maintenance. The hotel is very neglected. They don’t clean the room and bathroom properly; the shower box is dirty every day and never washed. They don’t replenish soap, shampoo, and other items that are the hotel’s responsibility. The bed is poorly made. Lack of attention to detail. Breakfast is not replenished. Towels are dirty. Poor and dirty presentation of the breakfast area. Breakfast is scarce. The hotel falls short in several aspects. It’s not good value for money. The hotel is old, and broken items are not repaired. Lack of maintenance. Breakfast area with dirty tablecloths. They don’t clean up what guests drop. Only the location is good, and the bed is comfortable.

Nice looking villa but it was NOT clean. We had to clean the mirrors and windows ourselves. Sand on the sofa and floor. Also we had money stolen, It was our own fault for not putting it away, but still not a good feeling. Funny thing is they took the USD and left the Euros and CAD.

Everything about this place is great. The property, the staff, the rooms and especially the location are 1st rate. The only complaints are that the jacuzzi did not work and the shower head is our room #1033 was old & broken; it had very little pressure and just dripped like a leaky garden hose

We stayed in a Jacuzzi Villa, excellent facilities, room cleaned and made daily. Restaurant is straight of the beach giving excellent views at breakfast. Staff are friendly and polite and quick to react to any requests. Right next to the walking street and a good base to explore nearby islands.

This is such a great place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous. The restaurant, where breakfast and other meals are served, is right on the beach. Perfect place for watching the sunset. The pool is nice when you need a break from the sun. Oddly, there are no lounge chairs for guests on the beach. Definitely walk to Phra Nang beach. Go early before the tours show up. It’s beautiful and quiet. No boats allowed. You need some patience when ordering food and drinks at the restaurant. The lunch crew was disorganized, and long waits was the norm. Just remember you’re on vacation!

Resort at the centre of Railay Beach

The hotel is located right on Railay Beach so can't fault the location at all as it's within walking distance of Walking Street where all the restaurants and bars are. Some other resorts are more secluded and further to walk to, so glad we got this resort.

The check-in, check-out and other services like booking a two person kayak were great and the staff were friendly, attentive and kept the hotel clean and pristine, especially the garden and pool. However, the rooms and breakfast/restaurant area is a bit outdated. Probably great a decade or two ago, but the place could do with a touch up to make it relive its glory days.

The breakfast was okay, nothing to shout about and we had dinner on the first night which was also so-so, but we were given a 10% food discount.

Finally, I would recommend getting the airport transfer back. Worry-free of getting there on time. 1,600 Baht for the concierge to take your bags to the boat whilst you walk behind, private boat service, golf cart from pier to air-con van that takes you to the airport. Three modes of transport all within the hour!

We would stay here again if we come back to Krabi/Railay Beach and hope to see it with a new lease of life.

What can I say, the hotel is right in front one of the best beaches and views a guest can ask for, bed was awesome, room was clean, It is loud till a late time, but if you're into staying up you wouldn't mind the noise I guess.

What a beautiful quiet spot on the beach, with still a night life to go out and have fun! I would come back here again, and recommend it to anyone staying there. It felt like we were on an island surrounded by beautiful mountain sides and the ocean.

This property may have been good at one time, but now it is a bad example of a 4 Star property. The rooms are old, the mattress hard like a wooden board, the toilet full of stains, the pool cushions moldy and the breakfast is very limited. I was double charged for the first night as well and even checked out 3 days early. I've been trying to work with Expedia, since they collected for the first night and they also told me they would work with the property to recover the 3 nights i checked out early. Since nobody is responding, I'm now posting my honest review.

Two nights stay at jacuzzi villa

Room was not so cleat. Pillows uncomfortable. Staf is friendly. Breakfast buffet options ok, but offers not good Coffee. Food we tried from the menu for lunch and dinner was good.
