Everything about my experience with this property was horrible. I made reservations for a suite with 4 beds. They gave someone else the room when I came to check in. They did give me 2 rooms. I didn't stay that night because of the inconvenience my minor children would've been in another room down the hall from me. The next day we were put in 2 closer rooms. We go to put our things in the room and are greeted by to huge roaches looking like we were invading their space. I still got charged for 2 out of 5 nights and didn't stay ANY and still haven't received my 50 deposit back into my account. Horrible service, hard to understand due to accent

One set of towels for two people.

Check in was fine, however the place looked tired and dirty. Elevator floor filthy!
Bathroom dirty, One wash cloth, bath, hand towel for two people. There were not any tissues in the tissue box. I will say the bed was very comfortable. Place needs a good overall cleaning and more attention paid to details.

Stay if you want creepy crawly friends in your bed

I’m not sure where to start. But first off, we booked the room based off the amenities only to find out once we get there that the free breakfast is not available due to renovations. This was not advertised anywhere on the website. Or the booking apps. It was also not mentioned when we personally called the hotel. However we discovered later that night staff sitting and eating in the breakfast area. Then the following morning we inquired about using the “gym” only to be told the machines are all broken. When we checked in we were told check out time was 9 am then to be told it was 11am. And to top it off, as we were getting read the morning of check out we discovered bedbugs in the bathroom. When we talked to the front desk downstairs it was made apparent this wasn’t the first complaint they’ve had. We used the stairwells to exit the building and found a bottle of Hot Shot Bed Bug and egg killer. So I think it goes without saying this place is a disgusting and I would stay away 1000 times over.

Hotels.com should NOT offer this hotel as an optio

We are regular users of Hotels.com and now realize that there is NO vetting of properties. This hotel, which we booked non-fundable since all of the other area hotels were booked, was disgusting. It is filthy beginning with the lobby. It smells dirty and gross. It was shocking and is the very worst hotel we ever stayed in, which includes last minute airport hotels when flights are cancelled. If you must stay in Youngstown, plan ahead and DO NOT STAY HERE.

It was late, we were tired and this location was close. Check in was no problem, went quick. The room we were given had a few issues so we notified the young man at the front desk and he set us up with another room. This room was much better. Don’t always sleep well in hotels, usually the bed is the culprit, but slept well that night. Felt rested when I got up. All and all it was a good stay.

It was horrible. We were givin the wrong room upon arrival, I booked a king we got a double. They kindly moved us to a handicapped room, as I was traveling with a man in a wheelchair. The hand sink had no running water, one of the bedframes was broken, so the head of the bed was almost on the floor. There was food behind the night stand. I notified the manager, we were too tired to move rooms again. He said he would have it fixed in the morning. The maintenance man came and said that he couldn’t fix it and would tell the front desk. We checked out the morning of 6/20. The manager said that I needed to contact you for a refund.

Horrible hotel. It was like entering the projects. It’s apparent that it’s a transient/homeless hotel. Everything was run down or broken. The people in the pothole-ridden parking lot and hotel hallways used bad language and were intimidating. I would avoid this hotel like the plague.

Ok first of all I stayed there for 4 days the price got me but when I got there I realized it was a bad decision the rooms weren’t worth the money there was women selling sex downstairs there was a roach in the bathroom on Monday the fire alarm went off for 3 hours I couldn’t sleep I asked for a late check out and they wanted to charge me more money I didn’t think it was worth it…the phones in the room don’t work and overall it was a cheap ran down hotel I usually don’t review places but I felt I needed to warn people if you are picky and like good hotels this isn’t the place for you

You get what you pay for

The pros: room had plenty of space, the TVs worked, and the beds were clean. The staff were very nice and accommodating with the need for extra towels.

However.

The whole place needs an update and deep cleaned. The shower/tub knob stuck, there was not a lot of hot water, there was hair in the tub, the carpets were sticky, the hallway ice dispenser did not work, and breakfast was unavailable \"due to construction\".

The elevator, exterior and entry area were not very well maintained. The room, however, was clean and comfortable. Unusable coffeemaker and there was a window screen propped against the refridgerator. The bar does not belong to the hotel but it is attached and was a friendly fun Mexican restaurant Sir Jalapenos. The service there was great and thr food was as well. I dont believe the hotel has an operating pool. Inexpensive and convenient.

This hotel was dirty and worn out. No food, pool, or ice. About quarter roll of toilet paper. Unplugged lamp at bedside, but no outlet to plug it in. Food trash in the ice bucket. Half empty bottle of tequila in the am elevator. Just don't go.

Stay away this place is horrible

It was the worst!! First they gave me a room that was already occupied then they gave us a room with one hand towel and one body towel and no wash cloths and when I asked for more they said the cleaning staff had not came in yet and when they get there they’ll bring some more but they never came. Good thing my fiancé had taking a shower already so I just showered with what I had. Then I called down the next day to get wash cloths and towels and was told the same thing I was told the day before and still haven’t received them so I ended up buying my own from Wal-Mart and the elevator and hallways were junky the room had cobwebs all in the corner and the picture on the wall had dust all over it. The only good thing about the place was the pillows were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot and clean but the bathroom sink was clogged up. I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody but not even a stray animal.

I called in to ask about the hotel in the pool. I was promised that the pool was going to be opened and when I arrive, they told me that it was closed for the season when I told them I booked the room and I spoke to a person about that they said that I was wrong and that was not the case. The room in the building was in an awful state of disrepair the kind of place that looks like you caught an STD from breathing the air. We did not stay booked at a different hotel some of the worst service I’ve ever received in my entire life now I’m arguing to try to get a refund.

The facilities are terribly outdated and filthy! No swimming pool like stated on website and no breakfast was provided even though it stated so…. I wouldn’t have eaten there anyway though. The lobby, elevators and corridors are filthy. My room was cleaner than I had to expected, however. It wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t as dirty as the public areas.

I have never seen a hotel property in this bad shape! Looks like Wyndham has no idea what is happening in their frenchies.

- The bed put together on brick and wood pieces
- Sink did not drain
- No breakfast! Everything empty, no front desk staff at the breakfast time.
- it was heart breaking to see kids coming to breakfast room, and scraping for cereal!
- elderly coming to the breakfast room and returning in a surprise!
- they complained that there room water was too hot to even wash hands, there was no way for them to cool the water. They left the hotel without bath and breakfast.
- the bed sheet had guck on it.
- this was common experience shared by all the guests who came to the breakfast room on Oct 20th morning.

Very very bad property and management!!

It is shame that Expedia has the property advertised on their app and sites.

It is a disgrace to Wyndham franchise.

Upon arrival the wifi was out, when we got our room keys, we went to get on the elevator it had a very strong odor of Marijuana despite it was clearly stated no smoking. When we arrived to our room, the dresser was clearly broke, the tub had an empty bottle of body wash in the bottom of the tub. They only gave you 1 was cloth, 1 towel and 1 hand towel. So if you sharing the room with anyone. Only one of you can shower. There was coins between the sheets and the mattress (no idea how or why). Behind the garbage can you could clearly see what looked like coffee had run down the wall, and wasn't cleaned up.

The next morning, The continental breakfast was less than what you'd expect. Hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, and cold cereal. Powdered creamer for coffee.

I asked for housekeeping but not sure if they did what was asked. The coffee on the wall still remained, and the TV didn’t work when we returned, but it did when left that morning. For some reason they unplugged the TV

This location has a lot of potential. It's sad to see it in such disrepair.

Went back to front desk and was reassigned to another room which had door wide open and window open. Pool and exercise room were closed and overall condition of hotel was Terrible. One bright spot was front desk who was courteous, friendly and helpful. Overall very disappointed.

The parking lot needs a complete redo. the carpet is dingy everywhere. The water from the sink has such little pressure...it's barely usable. The door to my room was unlocked when I first went in. Someone had to come fix the locking mechanism. The limited breakfast was very limited.

First of all we booked the hotel for the pool. Pool was not open( out of order)?? Then we had no lights in the bathroom or by the sink. I went down to the office to ask about it and was told that they would have somebody come fix within a half hour. No body ever came to fix? Then the seats were old and stained. only one elevator was working, the pool was out of order, unable to connect to the hotel wifi, lock on room door was broken and anyone could walk into my room without a key even if latched, was booked into one room and given the keys to another one so at midnight I was woken up with someone attempting to enter my room because they gave the one I was in to someone else. Staff was unconcerned with the different issues when I reported them, and the whole hotel gave the impression of the owners trying to spend the least amount to keep it open.
