El trato en el lobby y sport bar es excelente.

Habitaciones bien antiguas y con olor a humedad, tanto así que tuvimos que pagar para cambiar la habitación a otra más moderna y sin olor ( pero el piso del baño no estaba limpio)

Camareros amables y buen trato, excepto algunos que no se le podía ordenar nada, porque te contestaban mal.

La comida debe de haber más variedad, el restaurante japonés ( Teppanyaki ) el show debe ser más interactivo, no solo cocinar en frente y servir la comida. y sobre el entretenimiento a las 10 de la noche está apagado, no hay ambiente

My fiancé and I have been sick for DAYS since returning home. Mold in the rooms, horrible food at the buffet, staff treated my fiancé horribly(he’s white and I’m Latina really rude and nasty towards him), really forced selling of their weird timeshare opportunities that have zero benefits on top of what you already get in their all inclusive packages. We were constantly waiting for pool towels to be available, staff were super rude and unhelpful, male staff made me uncomfortable, a roach crawled into our room one night. We made reservations for the restaurants we wanted to go to(italian & steakhouse), the Italian was gross and meatballs tasted like they were canned, The steakhouse was delicious but we almost weren’t able to eat there, the man who made our reservations messed up and we didn’t have a res for the steakhouse and were turned away at first but later seated by a manager. I was excited to go home after staying here. The only thing we truly enjoyed about this place was our housekeeper Maria who hooked up our mini fridge with sodas and waters, as well as cleaning daily while she was on shift. Otherwise don’t waste your time or money here.

Very clean room and the staff was excellent . They had great service and almost all the time they had a great smile in them. All foods at the buffet were great, sometimes they were a little colder than i would've liked but the taste was there. The steak place was great. The Italian place was not that good and the food was cold. We did not try the Japanese restaurant. We were never able to take a hot shower the best we had was a little colder than warm. All the servers at all the bars were great. The views from the beach area were great.

They are only 3 restaurants which you need reservations for AC is not always working inside the restaurants. Rooms are very out dated no USB ports. Had to change my room 3 times hotel did not read my email with my request. 2nd room balcony door was not working this was very time consuming. Requested a umbrella several times and was told one would be place in the room which never happened. Also phone in room did not work was told that someone would take a look never happened. I also tried to order room service was given a # to do thru what's app since my phone in the room didn't work sent the order around 7:40pm asked for confirmation was texted okay nearly 2hours later I ask where is my food order was never placed. Had to go in person place the order and make a complaint. The staff is really great but management needs to be held accountable you do not run a establishment that way and the guest that come off the ships receive a VIP beach BBQ that you as a guest do not receive like if I went there for free or something. Not a good experience at at and would not recommened.

6.5/10 I wouldn’t necessarily start my here again. We had no hot water in the entire building. The rooms are clean but do need a little extra love. I scheduled for dinners, put my name and email on the sign up sheet and some how once arrived there was no reservation and our group was turned away. The beach has bad fleas, due to all the cats.

The property was gorgeous. Upon arriving, no one really greets you there’s not a special welcome like other resorts. My room was okay, I got an upgraded room and it was still only okay. There was NO hot water my entire trip and other people said the same thing. So prepare for cold showers. The food is not the worst which was good especially for late nights. The staff 10/10 they were awesome.

Are the staff at the senator with a platter was very nice staff. I didn’t have any problems with the bartenders or the waitresses the front desk people housekeeping one that was in service was giving great top-tier service. Definitely can say that I would recommend it and I would definitely stay there again. Dang water was really hot for taking a shower so that’s a big A1 plus everything was everything was terrific I think once I drop my phone in what is staff called me and pass my phone to me. I thought that was a very nice gesture.

-NO BEER in the “mini bar”. You have to buy it at the store! $7.00 US dollars a bottle!
-No hot water in the shower.
-my swim up room pool very dirty, no matter how many times they cleaned it. Full of grass and bugs.
-no cream for coffee
-the buffet is very small and most food is cold.
-if you’re a Solo Traveler like me, don’t expect to be waited on.
-there is NO beach bar.
-the only TV station that is not in Spanish is CNN.
-the staff is very loud. Yelling to each other no matter what time it is.
-it’s like you’re in a tunnel, you can hear everything and everyone.
-the ocean view is only if you’re standing up or by the fence.
-the check in was very non-personal.

The hotel are beautiful on the outsides but the rooms are in need of renovation, as they look dated and have a strong musty odor. The food at the buffet is delicious; however, it is unfortunately cold most of the time because the serving trays do not keep it warm. A helpful suggestion would be to provide several microwaves for guests who prefer their food served hot. Overall everything else was excellent, and the staff is very friendly.

well the room we were in needed up dating. the roof leaked, on the bed no hot water spider all over the room me and my wife we from florida we are use to bugs but not this bad the food needs more there was nothing to do at nighttime all the tv chanals exsept one were in english the pools needed mantiants. we did go down to the front desk and complin and nothing happen so for 10 days my wife was not happy we had to go to the front desk because the phone did not work this was our wedding anniversary vacation we go on ever year so not to happy

Our stay at this resort was completely overshadowed by how management handled a theft incident.My boyfriend accidentally left his bag unattended for only a few minutes. Two women turned the bag in, but security footage clearly showed them removing approximately $500 in cash before doing so. Despite this evidence, we felt like the resort was more concerned with protecting the individuals involved than helping us as guests.We repeatedly asked for updates and assistance, but communication was poor and we constantly had to chase down information ourselves. We were told an investigation was taking place, yet it never felt like there was any real urgency or effort to resolve the situation. Eventually, we had to involve the police because we felt we were getting nowhere.What was most disappointing was learning that the two women were never banned from the resort, even after video evidence showed them taking money from the bag. As paying guests and victims of theft, it was incredibly frustrating to see no meaningful action taken. It left us with the impression that our concerns were not being taken seriously.We understand that a resort cannot control every guest’s actions, but it can control how it responds when something happens. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability, transparency, and support made an already stressful situation much worse.We came here expecting a relaxing vacation and left feeling disappointed. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place.

Overall the property was great! It’s well kept, beautiful and well equipped. The food at the buffet was good and abundant. I wish the would sit people when entering the buffet as having to scout an empty/clean table to sit down and eat can be challenging and discouraging. The food at the three gourmet restaurants was subpar with very limited selections and the preparation, plus the presentation was less than appealing. The beach is very relaxing and peaceful as it’s private and there are no vendors roaming it, however, it’s shallow and not as crystal clear as other beaches in the area. A lot of seaweed wash up at shore. The multiple pools is a big plus. There are multiple activities held throughout the day so there’s always something to do. The staff were friendly and helpful with basic needs. The phones in the rooms didn’t work at all throughout the 5 days I stood at the resort, forcing me to physically walk down to reception to ask questions or express concerns (I was in 2 different rooms due to an incident).

The rooms bathroom can be upgraded. Every time we came back to the room, there was mosquito in the bathroom. Don't know how they got in. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds i have ever sleep in a resort. It was very nice. Great food. They should have a bar by the beach or have someone coming around to provide drinks. The walk to the bar was way to far. And the bathroom too. Over all i loved my stay and definitely would comeback.

The likes:
Room daily cleaning was done really good;
Staff mostly friendly and helpful, especially if you tip;
Grounds kept super clean;
Food in buffet pretty good, but if you like decent burger, nacho chips or chicken strips go to sports bar and ask for a food menu;
Lasagna in Italian restaurant was delicious

Now is not so good and the ugly:
Shower is in the bathtub, grout shows a lot of mold growth, and absolutely worth - shower curtain positioned well inside bathtub and no matter how much you try it will cling to your body;
Inside the pools floor is chipping, not adding pleasure to pool experience;
In the pool / beach area there's no or almost no drink service, I was asked once during my 10 day stay;
There's no drinks from the bar offered in ANY of the restaurants. Red/white wine or extra light beer;
There's only two bars, plus one in club area and another small setup for the nightly entertainment;
Very small selection of brand name liquors, where Stoli, Gordon and Red Label take top shelf and only if lucky enough;
Presidente will cost you $4, Corona not sure, free beer on the tap is tasty but very light and that it... Others are not even offered;
Local dive shop (not the hotel, but on the property) prove to be very unreliable due to low demand and maybe low demand is due to their unreliability :). I've end up going with Blue Tang Divers from Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada which prove to be a great dive shop, diving mostly in Sosua bay;

My room had a leak in the bathroom I called several times and it was leaking for the 3 days I was there , my cleaning lady kept on leaving the dirty toilet tissues in the garbage came into the room when we were there, staff in the dining area was very rude ask the cooker for the meat said he couldn’t do anything because he had to clean grill and it will take him 20
Minutes , every time you will ask an employee for anything they treated us like when we’re bothering them and we were disturbing them . I like the place but they have to work on their staff , they all feel they are not there to served , they feel that customers are below them . We are on vacation that last thing you want to do is argue or feel uncomfortable in a place that you choose to relax and wind down the place has a beautiful view will love them to work on re training employees, was my second time but left so disappointed again .

This property is a vacation club property which we were unaware at time of booking. Felicia, our concierge, was amazing. She made our stay enjoyable. She remembered our names and greeted us each day to see what she could could do to assist us. She contacted the person for our excursion to make sure we would be picked up and brought back. There were 4 pools, a buffet restaurant, steakhouse, Italian, and Japanese restaurants, then we found this cute street with a coffee shop, pizza place, and ice cream shop. There were shops from sundries to art to cigars. Felicia asked if we would participate in the presentation for the club and we agreed to attend.
We took a lovely tour after breakfast. Our tour guide, Melissa (sorry if I got it wrong), was fantastic! We had so much in common and really connected. The member rooms and benefits were impressive. When it was time to sit and talk numbers, while the offer was incredible, we just couldn't do it.
Make sure you do a little research before heading anywhere you travel. For instance, here you could not throw any paper in the toilet. (Good to know). Overall we had a great time and plan to go back for a future vacation.

Suchhhh an amazing experience! I came here for my birthday and had the best time ever!
