One thing I did not like was that the buffet opens at 12:00 noon and closes at 3:00pm. After that if you don’t have reservations for dinner in any of the restaurants you’re done, you won’t be eating for the rest of the day.

This was one of the worst stays I have ever been to. The staff were incredibly rude, if you have questions they seem bothered or annoyed to answer and the food was absolutely disgusting. The entire place smells like a hot sewer. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, there is no WiFi.. Save your money and don’t come here!

Deben de ser un poco más limpio en la limpieza de las habitaciones y un poco más higiénicos en las barras que están para las piscinas ya que la gente trae sus vasos personales y los cojen y les ponen los refill de hielo y líquido sin tener ninguna higiene. Cosa que puede propagar virus y alguna enfermedad. Eso fue lo que no me encantó del resort.

Llegué a la propiedad a la 1:30 y no me quisieron hacer el chequeo porque según ellos hay que esperar a la 3 de la tarde luego de esperar todo ese tiempo tuve que hacer una fila larga ya que se juntó mucha gente y terminé haciendo mi chequeo muy tarde pasado a las 3:45 luego de instalarme en la habitación fui a a ver la comida que había y sólo había merienda y por cierto nada bueno solo lo mismo nada bueno luego de ahí la piscina es hasta la 7 pero el bar sierra a la 6 entonces no hay nada que tomar en el área de la piscina la comida le doy un 7 de 10 no hay mucha variedad en la comida los empleados de limpieza le preguntan a uno si uno necesita la limpieza algo que encuentro que no debería de preguntarle al cliente la caja fuerte no sirven en fin no hay forma de tener nada a salvo ya que no funciona y los autobuses duran mucho para recoger a uno para transportar de un lugar a otro en mi opinión la comida del otro hotel el casa blanca tiene mejor calidad la comida y otra cosa hay mucho mosquito y un mal olor de las tuberías .

I stayed at the Lifestyle Cofresi hotel and the staff at check in were poorly trained with poor customer service did not appear to care. Once we got to the room this is where the biggest disappointment was. The shower head was broken the water stream barely came out and it caused water to go all over the floors with a big water clean after every shower. The TV was old and no signal so it didn’t work. The furniture was old and worn. Needs a real remodel, and better trained staff. I noticed that a lot of young Dominicans were being trained which is good, but the trainers need to do better. I would not stay at Cofresi again.

El hotel es muy bueno. Sin embargo no me gustó que al la hora del chef out me sacaran si saber si tenía para pagar otra noche más. Ellos no pueden subestimar a los demás si me hubieran dicho yo pago extra y no tengo mente pero si. Nada me dijoron tienes que irte. El dinero no era un problema y sin embargo nos dijeron que nos diera es por ello que jamás vulevo créeme que si nos hubieran dicho tienen que ir poner extra lo hubiera puesto porque el resort nos gustaba mucho pero con esa actitud jamás vuelvo

Estuve visitando el hotel por primera vez y me llevé una mala experiencia a lo que es el servicio de comida en los buffet. Una comida desagradable y nunca había disponibilidad para reservar en otros restaurantes. En verdad deberían prestar más atención a la comida de los buffet, ya que es difícil encontrar disponibilidad para los demás restaurantes, al menos llevar una buena experiencia de los buffet.

Pasamos una estancia maravillosa. Quiero destacar especialmente el excelente servicio de todo el equipo de empleados; su amabilidad y disposición marcan la diferencia. Además, la comida fue muy buena, con un menú delicioso y de gran calidad.
Un hotel totalmente recomendado. ¡Cinco estrellas bien merecidas!

This huge property was very nice. Lots of restaurants which were easily accessed using the shuttles. The rooms were clean but... room phones & hot water was non-existent in 3 out of 5 booked rooms.
Buffets were great. Free drinks were a little light but still very nice. I would stay here again.

La comida es buena, se necesita un poco mas de variedad, hay instalaciones buenas pero algunas pueden tener problemas con el aire, algunos en la habitación solo le ponen agua en la neverita, muchas opciones de piscina incluyendo para niños, el servicio del personal fue excelente, excepto cuando se llama a recepción ya no atienden y raro que te brinden el servicio, si quieres un Hotel familiar es una buena opción, si quieres mejores condiciones pues pagar mas para vip o mejores servicios

I would give our stay at Cofresi in the Dominican Republic 3 out of 5 stars. The resort looked much better in the pictures online than it did in person, so it did not fully meet our expectations. One of the biggest issues was the room setup — we were supposed to receive a room with double beds, but instead the second bed was only a twin size, which was inconvenient for our group.

The bathroom also had no hot water during our stay, which made things uncomfortable. On top of that, the room was not cleaned during the first two days until we finally tipped the staff. After tipping, the service improved, but housekeeping should be consistent regardless.

Overall, the resort has potential and the location is nice, but the room quality and service experience definitely need improvement.

Hi this trip was not the best experience at all. In confresi resort most of the staff have attitudes, all room service was the worst, phone didn’t work, the jacuzzi has mold in jets, there was no hot water to our room for 4 days we asked to get changed to another room they said sure and never switched us, there food was getting almost everyone sick even the fruits were rotten in the buffets, our room door was broken and they left us out the room for hours then got us in and never fixed the door we needed assistance everyday to get in our own room. It was a horrible experience I would never go back to a place like this. No help whatsoever all out bad time for a man that travels at least 5 times a year worst place ever do not go.

Terrible experience overall. The room had a serious humidity issue, with water droplets accumulating on the ceiling whenever the AC was running. The checkout experience was equally disappointing, and the staff seemed very unprofessional and unpolished. I will never return to this hotel.

El hotel es bonito lo único es que pedí especificaciones con las habitaciones la cual ignoraron, los horarios en la piscina y bebidas es muy limitado, eso me desagradó y no hubo tanta variación en los jugos y comidas. Por el otro lado el servicio del personal fue muy adecuado, amabilidad ante todo. Overall, this resort needs a full makeover. Food was horrible and too salty. The mattress was cheap and hard. They gave us a hard time leaving a day early. All the native workers and housekeepers asked for was tip. I spent more money on tips than I did on the trip itself. Definitely a horror show. Will not be back again ever or recommend to friends.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly and willing to help and assist at all times. The food was good. Room for improvement: WiFi must be available in all areas since it was only in the lobby and spa for 1hr per day. And for those who booked only 3 days and 2 nights is not enough to book a reservation in one of their exclusive restaurants. Reservation for those restaurants are free for those with greater than 3 nights. This can improve by offering at least one dinner reservation. It will be a plus if they can put a coffee station for those coffee lovers. FINAL IMPRESSION: Good for the price 4 out of 5 is my overall review

El lugar está muy limpio y organizado. La comida es muy buena. Pero deben mejorar un poco la atención al cliente puesto que tuve un tema de gotera con la habitación y tardaron un día en resolver el problema. No quizás porque no quería sino que a quienes llame a recepción varias veces no pasaron la información correspondiente a quienes resolverían. El día que hice el Check-in y me fui a la habitación la guagua que tomé no me llevó directamente a la habitación, me dejaron abajo y me indicaron más o menos por donde estaba lo que fue un poco tedioso encontrar la habitación y al llegar a la habitación se les pasó darme la llave de la habitación lo que tuve que volver a recepción y todos me cuestionaron como si de verdad me hubiesen entregado la llave. En sentido general el rezort me encantó, la plata, la piscina, la comida, los servicios de limpieza y atención en los restaurantes. Solo que mejoren esos puntos que les dije y todo sería perfecto! Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

I had a leak from the air conditioning unit in my room. The room was dirty and smelled like mold. The hallway was leaking from the ceiling, and it had a bad smell in both the hallway and the room. There weren’t many things to do, and it wasn’t a pleasant three days in this hotel. On top of that, they didn’t have fries for breakfast. I have a special need child who only eats fries, so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Beach in this area is not great, food was mediocre, drinks for average guests lacking especially if you like wine. Have to attempt to book restaurants first night for entire nine day stay only to find out you really have to do it daily at a specific time of day. Finally did get non buffet restaurants booked but they were not great. Ok for price but expect this to be a three star resort and you should be good.

Book elsewhere or you will face many trails and tribulations. I started reading the reviews after booking and I wasn’t able to cancel so I decided to be optimistic. But EVERYTHING I feared took place down to the bugs inside of my husband suitcase, leaking ceilings, my daughter vomiting all afternoon and night after she ate lunch, room transfer. It was truly an exhausting experience.
