Overall, a pleasant stay with a great beachfront location and a relaxing atmosphere. The shower in our room was excellent, modern and refreshing after long beach days. However, the room door was very close to the neighboring one, and we could clearly hear people passing by or entering their rooms, which was quite distracting at times. Aside from that, the experience was enjoyable and the staff were friendly.

What a lovely hotel! I stayed here as it’s near to work and it felt like a treat being on the beach. Great restaurants nearby! The smell of the hotel was incredible and the bed was super comfy. Very lovely staff at front desk too.

Property wise, everything was okay. But the staff is extremely rude and dismissive. There was young man who was helpful in the front with dark hair but apart from him and the cleaning staff. Everyone even the man outside at the restaurant was so rude. For the price of the stay in spain the hospitality really should be of a higher level. Every little thing was a huge deal or issue. Even sitting outside vs inside. It really makes no sense. I tried to be as gracious as possible but was constantly met with rude and dismissive response. Truly astonished

Water leaking from hvac unit, my kid slipped and fell. The room smelled like mold. The staff was not very friendly. They gave us a room with two small beds, with a clear separation between them. The shower was poorly designed so the water leaked to the floor no matter how much you tried. Overall a poor experience, we are frequent travellers and we will not go back to this one. Good structure, nice pool. A pity all the flaws.. my room shouldn’t be booked as it is, hope you fix this issue and improve the friendliness of staff.

n Friday night 8:30.P. M. I am sorry I did not ask his name but the male Front desk was beyond the pale. Offered to keep the pool open for a while for a late swim ( was not needed ) did swim but was out by 9:00 P. M. Had a cab ready and waiting at 5:15 for an early flight Suggested dining, and mapped out where to locate the ATM. You need to keep him for sure … promote if you can.

This is the BEST place we’ve stayed on our month long trip throughout Europe! It was clean, the staff was so helpful, the room was perfect! The staff gave us an umbrella, towels, and beach loungers to use at the beach. The room had amazing AC, a beautiful view, a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. We have absolutely no bad things to say about this resort! We would highly recommend this hotel!!

This little hotel was just what we needed after having a busy 10 day cruise. It’s close to the airport, swimming pool is lovely, rooms are spacious, restaurant was good,and staff was very accommodating. I did not give it a 5 star rating just because our shower had black mold on the floor tile because it leaks so bad. And the other reason being that this hotel is on the beach-but if you want a chair or umbrella-you have to walk a good city block to get one. If you are ok sitting on your towel-then it’s fine, as long as you stay clear of all the volleyball courts.

The hotel is well located on the beach boardwalk. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
The rooms are clean, beds hard and plenty of toiletries should you need any.
The hotel claims they are busy and will not accommodate anything, ie late checkout etc by an hour.
Breakfast has a large variety and is great.
Cons: for the cost $$$ my expectations were let down.
The rooms has oil incense in them that we placed outside, however there is an intense scent that is being blasted in from the vents. We searched everywhere and couldn't find the source. It made for a rough sleep and having to take allergy pills.

Spent two weeks in Spain all hotel stays this place had the worst bed very poor could feel springs. Also they have this perfume smell through out the property very strong not sure what they are trying to cover up

We booked this hotel for its beachfront location, onsite restaurant, and bar. Bar and Restaurant CLOSED and staff told us if we wanted ICE FOR OUR ROOMS we would have to go down the block and BUY IT FROM A STORE!!! Staff was inattentive, and dismissive and did not want to be bothered with guest questions or needs. Our treatment was ridiculous for a $250 charge per night. Went to walk the beach at 6 pm pre-dinner and upon our return an hour later we, and some other guests, found ourselves LOCKED OUT of our hotel from the beach access. When a guest got the front desk on the intercom they were told they would have to walk around the entire facility for reentry. STEER CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL.

The area is nice for outside Barcelona. The place was clean. The staff was okay, but def. Not friendly. We left our charger by accident in our room and asked if they would mail it back to us in our country, they didn’t do it and said to come back and get it.. Not so easy to fly back to Spain from Canada. Wish they could’ve sent it back via mail.

We liked the spacious room with a beautiful view and lovely breakfast. We didn't like being woken at 4 a.m. on the second night by reception ringing our room twice to say someone had complained about loud music and noise. Very annoyed that we wiere woken up in this way and that a member of staff hadn't come to the room where they would have been able to hear nothing but silence. I informed reception the following morning of what had happened and received an apology but nothing more. When we checked out no one asked if we have enjoyed our stay,

The room was gorgeous and clean , only downside was i asked for a double bed and was given 2 singles which was a night mare for the 2 nights i did stay as they kept on wheeling away from eachother . Secondly there was no duvet only a thin sheet , would have preffered duvet . Breakfast was nice and fresh . Staff were amazing and kind and very helpful . Also there was a mini fridge in the room which you had to pay if you had something from it ? Found that quite weird as it is a 5* hotel and the 5* hotels i have been to give you complimentry drinks . Overall it was in a good location and was clean .

Pros: good location right next to beach. Towels available to take to beach. Good amenities in the room. Soundproofed with electric blackout curtains. Great shower. Close to airport and restaurants and train.
Cons: large bed which took up room leaving little space., Furniture worn in places. Shower door leaking. Sun loungers outside were broken. Choice poor at breakfast and Fruit wasn’t fresh. No late checkout available.

We ended our two week tour of Spain at Playadefels and I wish we had stayed there longer! The pictures online don’t do it justice. Beautiful rooms right on the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early and the let us park in the garage and gave us towels to go to the beach while they got our room ready. Front desk staff spoke English, Spanish, Catalan and German. I would recommend for both families and romantic getaways.

Fabulous hotel in a lovely location.

Fabulous 7-night stay here. Great room (Executive Room with beach view) - very spacious balcony with sunbeds, and the room was generally of a high standard (just few minor scuffs that could easily be fixed). Lovely pool with the addition of towels, sun cream and waiter service. Plenty of room around the pool and no shortage of beds. The cleaning and pool staff were all very friendly and attentive. The staff on reception however were stand-offish in their approach which was disappointing given the standard of the hotel. Saying that, we would definitely stay here again.

Disrespectful hotel staff

We had an awful time in this hotel. Don’t get me wrong, the area is nice but the hotel staff let this place down big time! We stayed 3 nights in June 2022. The room they gave us had 3 doors. The front door, bathroom door and patio door. The patio door wouldn’t lock which for me is a security issue. Secondly the bathroom door wouldn’t close.

Raising these issues with Sebastian who works on reception is when the troubles started. His horrible dismissive attitude was ridiculous and unprofessional. They couldn’t change our room as the hotel was full. That’s not his fault but his attitude was shocking.

He couldn’t seem to understand my concern with our patio door not locking.
“What are your concerns? This area is safe” he said. He then follows it up with “what do you want me to do? The maintenance staff don’t work on the weekends” This guy was so frustrating! Therefore I decided to complain to hotels.com and they immediately phoned the hotel to see what was going on. I warned the agent that the staff are very unresponsive and rude. The agent called me back and even he agreed that they were rude to him on the phone.

If you are being rude to people that provide you business then you know they have a problem.

I then returned to the reception and Sebastian again being very rude then claimed that I was just doing this to get money off my room!!! This infuriated me anymore. I am and have been a gold member of hotels.com for many years now. Their customer service is bad.

Great Hotel

Hotel was recommended by local friends. It was completely refurbished right before Covid hit, so is basically brand new. Rooms were very comfortable and had a side view of the ocean (some rooms have full views).
Onsite parking very convenient (for a fee). The staff were very professional and friendly. Many restaurants within 2 minute walk.
Highly recommend.

Overall good, bad check in experience

Checking in was a bit underwhelming as the lady at the front desk didn’t seem like she cared a lot about guests and made me feel like I was interrupting her in something. It was Sunday evening and I asked if there’s room service and she just said no.
Other than that unpleasant check in everything else was fine and the rooms was nice and clean.
