This as the perfect hotel coming off of a cruise and headed to the airport the next day. Perfect location, 3 blocks to walk to the beach, tons of great restaurants, large rooms, hot shower, comfortable beds, easy to get to, helpful staff, great price. Would highly recommend!

Chambre grande. Propre. Par contre grave problème d'insonorisation. Notre chambre avait deux portes qui communiquaient avec les chambres voisines... 'mais nullement insonorisée.
Donc on entendait tout à côté.
Ça nous a gâché la nuit. Quasiment impossible de dormir. Quel dommage car de l' 'extérieur l' hôtel est sympa.

We arrived late at night after a long day of traveling expecting a hot shower and a good nights sleep. Discovered after getting to our room that there was no hot water . Called down to reception and the staff was not surprised but polite and stated that the Magda been notified and would compensate us in the morning for our inability to take a hot shower, in December no less! We came down to check out the next morning and the reception staff didn’t offer an apology, hyst asked if we had reported the problem. We told him we had and healed what time that was . We told him around 2:30 a.m and he said that the water fixed at 7 a.m and that this didn’t happen often. He didn’t appear concerned about our discomfort or unhappiness with the situation at all! Check what the status of the hot water is before checking in .

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. It was perfect! The beach was a 2 min walk, there were many very good restaurants nearby and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was a little small but very clean and the balcony was great, except our view was obstructed by a tree. The pool was refreshing and the area was kept very clean.

The hotel is not new, it was probably built in the 70s. However, it's really well-maintained, and well-cleaned. The room was extremely spacious and all amenities were working (including the hairdryer that was about my age). There was a fridge in the room, which is unusual in Spain, but very helpful. The bathroom was spotless and well-stacked. Great location - 10 mins drive from the airport and 5 mins walk from the beach. Very pleasant experience overall.

Overall this is a good option close to the beach in quiet area. Breakfast here is really good. We didn’t check out the pool but it looked ok.
Some reception personnel are really good, few kind of meh.
The maintenance people were fixing the door frames and didn’t even knock just suddenly opened the door scaring my daughter.
The cleaning people are thieves, they stole a towel, a wind toy and a fur coat I got for my dog. It had LV branding all over it so maybe they thought it’s expensive, not sure.
Another downvote is for internet connection, it’s very choppy and doesn’t work a lot of the time

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants to choose from. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful trees. There is a groceries store that is easy to walk to. The staff is friendly, super efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet is top class. Very family friendly too.

Friendly front desk staff. Clean facilities. During check-in I sent my daughter to the room first. There was an older gentleman and his wife who were allowed in by housekeeping because they said it was their room. They did not check for the correct number. This could have been resolved if housekeeping checked they were in the correct room. We had to have the room cleaned again before we were able to use it.

We stayed for one night after our cruise to catch a flight home the following day. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff speaks English very well and helped us book a cab to the airport. The beach is less than 5 min walk. It is nice and safe. We simply left our stuff on the sand and swam for couple of hours and had no issues. The beach was not crowded despite it being a Sunday. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall a great stay.

The property is very clean. The staff were very helpful. It is walking distance two minutes from the beach. The area has nice restaurants and the locals there are very friendly. The only drawback was Expedia said free continental breakfast and we were charge 13 Euro per person. The breakfast was good though.

Room didn’t include the desk for working as per the Hotels.com pictures. So for a work trip was not ideal.

No bath plug.

Curtains dont cover the window. So sunlight comes directly into the room so less sleep than normal.

This place was a perfect stay until we got settled. Wow they gave a room that was run down and needed up keep. The noise from the check in counter echoed in the morning. DO NOT ACCEPT room #017 as your room because you will not get any sleep. Fortunately, we had to stay there only 2 day until our cruise departed. The area is great for dining and everything is walkable. Its not worth the money, stay somewhere else.

Ein tolles Hotel, wir waren super zufrieden. Ganz in der Nähe vom Strand und vielen Restaurants. Zimmer für 4 Personen sehr geräumig, Unterteilung durch Schiebetür möglich, mit großem Balkon unter Dach von Pinienbäumen. Der Glanz und die Großzügigkeit älterer Zeiten gefiel mir sehr gut, große Fenster, große verdunkelte Spiegel und geräumige Lounge. Ein leckeres Frühstück. Aufgeräumt und gut organisiert.

I arrived in the very early hours of the morning having had my flight delayed, but on arrival everything was prepared for me in advance so I could check in quickly and rest as soon as possible. The hotel was very good. Our room was clean, and comfortable. The mattress was comfirtable, there was a nice, private balcony for sitting, plugs by the bed to charge phones, a nice bath tub to soak in and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and a good price. We did not get to use the pool, but it was lovely with a nice large patio. The location was great to access the beach, train station and close to the airport. Gracias!

If you’re looking to spend time at the beach, this hotel is a great location. If you’re looking to do much else, it’s very inconvenient. It’s also quite far from central Barcelona if you want to do more tourist type activities. My room was ‘cleaned’ but I did notice a lot of hair everywhere…like on the bed, floors, etc. The hotel is very old, and it definitely looks like it. One redeeming quality however are the balconies, there is one for every room!

Nicole was great at check in! Let us check in early and was very nice and friendly. The room was small and outdated. Pillow cases + blankets stored for us in the closet were stained and dirty. Beds were not that comfy. Man at breakfast asked us very rudely if we were guests of the hotel as if we had come off the street for breakfast. Very simple breakfast spread , nothing crazy. This hotel is ideal for a short stay if you just need somewhere to rest but I wouldn’t stay here long term.

We were greated by a amazing front desk staff by the name of Nicole - she was very friendly and very welcoming - offered so many services from booking our transportation back to to the airport.
The room was spacious and very clean - we had a great room- we were welcomed by the cleaning crew very friendly. The man at the coffee bar was a bit rude and the one staff at the restaurant - we said hello to him as we canadian are known to be respectful but no acknowledgement- buffet was very decent great coffee and fresh squeeze juice- location was great close by to the beautiful beach.

Basic but highly recommended

We stayed here as a family of four and were all agreed it was the perfect spot for relaxing for a few nights after finishing a cruise we had been on.

At first glance the hotel looks a bit dated but we soon forgot about that as the location and the pool area more than made up for it.

The hotel is literally a 5/10 minute stroll to the beach as well as numerous bars and restaurants, all of which were very reasonably priced when compared to central Barcelona.

The pool area was very welcome in the hot sun and we were always happy to see that there were plenty of loungers for everyone and never saw it more than half full. We never saw anyone reserving beds and we always found beds regardless of the time we went down (or returned from the beach).

Prices in the hotel were also reasonable with a glass of wine coming in at around €3.50 and breakfast (which was plentiful) at around €12

Recommended and we'd definitely stay again if in the area.

If you want a place to rest your head, with a comfy bed, and clean then this hits the spot (although a little expensive).
If it’s for your holiday I’d give it a miss.
I’ll start with the pros

This place could be significantly better with some minor improvements. Whoever is managing this hotel has clearly lost any passion for it.
The building is in need of updating and the pool and outside area require maintenance… broken and dirty drains and unkept gardens. Although we then found out the pool doesn’t open until June 15th!

Breakfast is standard, and at no point did I see anyone replace the hot food which appeared to sit there. There was zero atmosphere or buzz at breakfast… even the staff looked demotivated…put some music on and train staff how to show enthusiasm… happy team = happy guests!

The Rooms miss the basic needs …
No kettle (UK people who like a cuppa you are stuck).
No hairdryer… you need to call reception.
Two sets of double patio doors but unable to open to let any air in.
Air con is basic so good luck in august.

Overall, for £135 a night it was a disappointment. I’d recommend booking early and for a little more you could get a 4 or 5 star elsewhere.

Family vacation for 4…hard to find a hotel in Spain for 4…many only had “ sleeps 3” so, when we found this one…which had 4 twin beds ( typical for Europe) with a divider between the 2 sets of beds…we grabbed it.
The hotel is in a great neighborhood location within walking distance of beach & many great restaurants/bars/bakeries.
The downside is that the hotel is three star… And in great need of cosmetic updates…
The first room we had the shower head fell apart. The staff moved into another room…which had been “ somewhat” updated. Odd…maybe they were updating “ room by room”?
Staff very friendly…helpful getting taxi’s & explaining train station options.
