Man in reception was a bit rude when we arrived. He made a big things about us all coming to his desk, even though all 3 rooms were on a single booking, and we didnt want to occupy all the desks seperately in the reception given that it was busy. I booked 3 double rooms, but got 1 double and 2 twin rooms which was disappointing. The restaurant was poor, basic cafeteria style dood served on trays, and the man behind the bar needs some lessons on how to pour a pint. The shower head in my roooms was broken too which was a nuisance. Overall this is a standard 3 star hotel, nothing more.

Overall, this property was fine for value. However, the staff could be better. The driver that picked us up from the airport, a woman was quite rude. We stood waiting for several minutes to check in, while one person was on the phone, and the other wasn't doing anything. The person that actually checked us in, was pleasant. The restaurant is fine. Servers are very nice and efficient. The return shuttle driver was good as well.

Check in was super frustrating. First they couldnt find my reservation. Then when they did find it. I was told my room wouldnt be available for about 4 hours. Hotel was empty but no room ready. When we came back room was ready but couldnt find my reservation again. Finally got card key only for it not to work. They gave me the wrong room. Ok new key in hand. Get to the room, no AC. We did have a very good dinner in the cafe. Room was large but white walls were very marked up. Whoever decided white walls in a hotel room was a good idea? Not.

First the breakfast was not free but you can add it to your lodging cost. The Buffets breakfast was fantastic. The food was fresh, the dinning room comfortably large, staff greated with smiles. Much better than higher priced hotel chains found in the USA. Since my stay here was on a as needed basis, I visited the front desk, daily. They merged each daily reservation into one and updated my room key, with a warm friendly attitude that showed their appreciation for my stay at thier hotel. My thanks to all the hotel staff.

I took it from Terminal 2 and that is probably a better option as I feel their stop in Terminal 1 is a bit far away - I wouldn't dare to wait for the shuttle at night in T1. The room was OK. Not too much furniture but I suppose you wouldn't spend more than one night there. The bathroom was OK. Maybe they just had done some work in mine; it could use some extra caulking and deep cleaning as it felt somewhat \"unfinished\". The open space on the ground floor provides lots a seating option where you can relax or even work. Overall a valid option. Keep in mind however that the hotel is not on the airport premises but rather a 15-minute drive away.

The description where the shuttle picked up was lacking. The exercise room had 2 bikes, both were broken. For breakfast the scrambled eggs were cold and the fried ones were also cold. They say they don't charge for the in room mini-bar but there was basically just 2 beers in it.

I was only disappointed that the front desk asked both me and my friend for an extra 40 euros to check in to our rooms at 12:00, only two hours early. Seemed like a hefty fee for something most hotels do for free. The receipt literally read “upselling” even though it seemed to be the same size room I had booked. Online the rooms look identical but I booked one with more square footage. Hard to figure that out once you are in it though. It just felt like a tactic they use often for weary travelers.

Great hotel, with friendly, intuitive staff. At check-in they inquired if we would need transportation back to the airport the next day, without prompting by us. The room was great, the on-property restaurant and bar were very nice as well. My one opportunity for improvement would be to make sure the grounds outside the hotel are clean. There was a lot of litter visible outside our window (room 222). More than offset by the other great things happening at InnSide. We would definitely stay there again in conjunction with any travel in Barcelona.
