Parking was easy, and the staff at the front desk were attentive, efficient and friendly. However, the hotel cleanliness left much to be desired, including party decorations, mostly small pieces of plastic or trash and even a meat bone(!), remained on the hallway carpets for several days after 12/21. I respectfully asked, twice, if the the hallway carpets be cleaned, to no avail.

Parking was easy although my room was at a side door that the key reader did not work. The maximum I could set my thermostat was 73 room was cold for me. Hot water was also an issue I had to use a shower in another room and day staff was very unhelpful. Walk in shower did not have a light. Exits were blocked with children and toys no consideration of guest. When I told the front desk person how awful my stay was an I'm sorry was offered. I stayed at that hotel in 2022 what a drastic change with the new owners.

The rooms were OK, just what one can expect from this type of hotel. The amenities were the problem:
1. No complimentary breakfast.
2. Not even free coffee for guests.
3. Only breakfast available a \"Buffet\" at $ 26.00 per adult and $ 18.00 per child.
4. The rooms have no microwave.
5. Rent movies at $ 31.00 each.
6. Parking on the front a very (very) long walk to the room.
Altogether a pretentious hotel not worthy of the price.

The owners of this establishment have definitely dumped all of their money into remodeling the lobby and conference center. It’s beautiful. But it leaves the rooms dreaming for more. The rooms are dated and sprawl across the massive property. My husband had to walk forever to find the ice machine. The grounds are very spacious and quiet. We didn’t have any issues, but not what we expected either.

Very noisy. Could not get a good night sleep. There were ALOT of kids running and screaming from 6 am all through the night. They had multiple parties. I needed to get a drink no vending machine or snack bar. Restaurant seemed closed everyday. Hallways smelled like onions all day. I simply cannot ever stay there again.

Our room was flooded while staying here . We had 300 doller iPad ruined and the hotel offered us 50 percent back on the stay . Ridiculous! . No Air conditioning in the room. They brought us a fan lol . Staff was friendly. But if I am staying at your hotel and my things get damaged from water while staying there then that’s on the facility! So I paid 250 a night her and lost a 300 doller iPad , and all I was offered is a sorry and half of my stay back . Do the math on how much money I lost because of my stay at sleepy hollow !

Kids and adults running through the halls at all hours. Doors slamming. Can hear everything through the walls. Fire alarm went off twice and we were told it's fine to go back to our rooms. But in a way were it felt like we were an inconvenience. We got no sleep both nights. When we put a complaint in, we were told it wouldn't matter and no one will do anything about it. Do not recommend staying here.

Two fire alarms in one night. I understand this happens. But with the first alarm at 1am, there was no guidance from staff as to when to return to our rooms. The second alarm (2 or 3am?) sounded and then abruptly stopped. We did not know if we should go back outside. We did not know if there was an actual fire. Communication would have been helpful.

Place was clean and we had everything we needed. The room was fine for what we needed for the Halloween weekend. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Had to pay exgra for a microwave and needed the team to being a space heater as the heat was off but once we got those things squared away it was a great stay.

If you expect to the rest of the hotel to look like the lobby pictures you are mistaken. The common areas were dirty and run down and no evidence of upkeep and repairs. The entire property looks as if it is ready to go under. We had a domestic disturbance in the room next to us and tried to call the front desk and there was no phone in the rooms. We had to call the direct line and were continuously put on hold. The front desk said the lack of phones in the rooms was due to a flood. They never specified what or when this flood was. The electric car charger station was broken and ducked taped to keep people from using it so we couldn't charge our car. The would have been nice to know before we booked at the property. I spoke to the front desk and was given the run around continuously. They have absolutely zero customer service intentions so keep your expectations low when you book there. I received the how are you doing texts from the front desk but they were only for show because they never really addressed any of my concerns.

Horrible experience. Asked for microwave 3 times, never got it, but they charged me anyway. No appologies. Went to \"complimentary breakfast\" they was running behind for at least an hour, so no breakfast. Room had broken drawer in the cabinet, almost fell on my 2 year old, one of the lamps were broken, and outdoor door was jammed. Stay away!

The staff was wonderful. The facility was beautiful. But there were many things in the work that did not work. The TV was problematic; the coffee pot didn't work correctly; the thermostat fell off the wall; the toilet mechanism had to be replaced twice; the window did not work correctly. Each issue in itself was minor, but collectively, they just aren't taking care of things as needed. But the staff was GREAT!

The room was never under 74 degree and even called the front desk and all they did was bring us a fan. They said they had a continental breakfast and it was bagels and muffins and fruit one day and just fruit the next day. The last day there we took cold showers and it wasn’t even warm enough to heat up my child’s bottle. We will never stay here again. And it is so spread out since there is only 2 floors

Here’s what didn’t work in room 251.
The air conditioning did not work.
The window did not open nor close. Where it was was were it stayed.
The toilet hardly worked.
The tv did not work.
Half of the elevators did not work.
Half of the lights did not work.
Half of the outlets did not work.
I would have called down to the front desk but there was no phone to use.

300 bucks a night. I expect stuff to work without calling.

Pool was closed when we checked in. The pool is only open a very limited number of hours. This was very disappointing due to this is why we picked this hotel. The sauna didn’t work. In our room the window was broken, air conditioning and a lamp was broken. The staff was stand offish. Beautiful hotel and very close to the touristy stuff. But not worth it if you’re looking to swim. Also the breakfast was a bagel and smooshy frozen fruit.

This was a great hotel for my family of four. The room was spacious, and clean. We were on the second floor and the employee who checked us in told us where to park so we could use the elevator with our luggage (it isn't close to the front desk). My youngest daughter enjoyed the pool (it was a little chilly, but it was October). We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was offered for a limited time. It was enough - fruit, bagels, muffins, coffee and juice. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Got to the hotel and found that the air/heat system was turned off for the entire property. Room was stuffy. Couldn't open a window because our window was completely bronken and wouldn't open. Had to switch rooms, even with the window open for the few inches it actually opens, it was git and stuffy the entire weekend. Weekend got topped off with the water heater breaking and everyone taking ice cold showers.

The property was run down. Limited options for food. Unable to control the temperature in the room. Fan was brought to the room that was flithy and blew dust particles everywhere. Towels were stained. Bathtub didnt drain and had rust from pipes floating in water. No hot water for shower. Limited pool hours and you needed maintenance to open pool door when open. Would not stay here again. Not worth the overpriced cost of stay.

Our stay here was very disappointing and we will not return.

Pros: Easy parking, nice common areas of the hotel, very friendly front desk staff

Cons: You cannot control your room temperature. We asked because our room was hot and humid and we were given an old fan to use.

We had no hot water on our last day and were told we had to wait for the boiler to come back on and heat the water it was 9AM and we had cold showers.

The pool hours are very limited and you have to ask to be let into the pool area.

The restaurant was closed (even though we were told it would be open), but you could get bar food and drinks that were very expensive.

When leaving we expressed our concerns again and were offered a 10% discount per night.

Overall for the price we paid $695 for 2 nights, it was not worth it and we will not return or recommend.

We loved our stay at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel so much! The staff at the front desk was very friendly and I loved that you can communicate questions via text during your stay.
